My name is Peter and I come from Slovenia, Europe. It is a small country so you might not have heard yet about it. I am 22 years old and will be spending one semester at Monash University as exchange student. I love sports. As a flatmate, I am sociable and outgoing, but I also need some time to study and sleep in peace.
Hi everyone, I'm a Chinese girl who is going to study my Masters in Unimelb. I'd like to find a share room with females. I'm super clean and tidy, can get along with people who have different cultural backgrounds. Please contact me if you have availble room or you wanna team up via free message or email me . Thanks.
We're two peas in a pod, will you be our three? haha kidding but seriously, we get along really well. We found each other on flatmates.com.au last year too and looking to find a 3 bedroom apartment or house so it's cheaper to live. Our daily life includes working full-time, the "occasional" 6am gym session (we try but we're also pretty lazy) we are trying to improve our cooking skills, we've come a long way since we first moved in! Cheese and wine is always good, netflix, instagram all the basic bitch stuff. We're retired party-goers but don't mind heading out every now and then. We love the idea of road trips but the weather doesn't seem to agree everytime we wanna go...... anyways if you'd like to meet up for a coffee/brunch/lunch/dinner/desserts/icecream/donuts or whichever please inbox :)
I just finished bachelor degree and will be studying in Design School of Melb Uni. I am a nature lover and an easy-going person. I enjoy exploring various cafes in search of the perfect coffee, cooking with fresh ingredients from the markets, spending time with friends or planning my next adventure overseas. I've previously lived in the Netherlands for a year as an exchange student. Had experience living in a student share house before. I enjoy learning about other cultures and meeting people from all walks of life. Looking for friendly and tidy flatmates and really looking forward to meeting new people in Melbourne :)
Hi! I am Akashneel Maiti, a full time international student from India, joining Monash University Caulfield campus for Master of Networks and Security in February. I am 23 years old and prefer people of the same age group. I think of myself as a calm and sociable person who respects others' private space. I do occasionally enjoy drinks and bbq in weekends. My budget is around 180$ pw and my length of stay is flexible. I am also open up to the idea of grouping up with some nice people and renting a whole apartment. I will be reaching Melbourne on 9th feb, so will like a place available from around this date. Thanks :)
My name is Hayley, I'm 26 years old, and work full time in child health research in Parkville. I'm very clean and friendly and I like living in positive, peaceful homes. In my spare time, I enjoy eating out with friends, going to the gym, and photography. I like keeping things quiet during the 9-5 working week. My weekends are spent doing relaxing activities such as yoga, socialising, or going on day trips. I'm looking for a private ensuite room with a car space for around $200-230 in the inner east/south-east.
Hey! My name is Eren and I am a mechanical engineer, easy-going, dance instructor at the same time, I have my guitar with me so we can have lots of fun. I like drinking and dancing of course. I can teach dancing skills for fun :)
Hey potential future flatmate(s)! Looking for: private room in the inner suburbs, no pets as I'm allergic I am: Swedish, down to earth, full-time student For those who are more curious: I’m a 21 year old soon-to-be homeless Swede. I study Communication Design full-time at Billy Blue College of Design and I’m most likely going to start looking for a part-time job as well. It's just to get some extra money in addition to my income from Sweden. I'm currently in Sweden because I'm attending a wedding and I'm coming back to Melbourne January 19 so that's when I need a roof over my head. I have lovely friends to stay with for a while but I still need to find something asap. I used to rent a room in a flatshare in South Melbourne that I loved but now I'd like to try a new suburb! Preferably Fitzroy, Richmond, South Yarra, St Kilda, Prahran and surrounding. I love living with others but sometimes I need my privacy for studying so I'm looking for a private room. I need good tram/train/bus connections if it’s in a suburb further away. I prefer a furnished room as I don't really own anything except for an $9 work lamp from IKEA but I can compromise if it's the right place. As I mentioned before I'm allergic to pets so I don't want any furry things around me. I’m very easy going and down to earth. I like to go out for drinks or so on the weekends (depending on how much schoolwork I have) but I'll definitely not bring the party home it's not appropriate. I enjoy hanging out with friends, eating good food (brunch!!) or just staying in watching Netflix. I’d love to get to know my flatmate(s) and hang out but at the same time it’s really important for me to get my peace and quiet to study as I take my studies very seriously (too expensive for Swedes to not be serious about it haha). I like to keep the common areas relatively clean and tidy but I’m not too fussy about leaving the breakfast bowl in the sink or stuff like that. Will need some kind of space for potential crafty uni projects and if I don't have it in my room I'll make sure to clean up after myself. Do I sound like your new flatmate?! Hit me up! (Just not on my phone number because I'm in Sweden now)
I have an upright piano that comes with me. A hammock and stand to put on the verandah and I enjoy cheese, food, wine and good company. I like to experience life and make the most of every chance I get. I'm studying electrical engineering and working as a relief teacher. I can pay the bills (which is important... I once had a flatmate that could not... absolute disaster). I like animals, almost decided to be a vet (till I went on work experience). Not a big partier, but I do appreciate being around people. Would prefer not being strangers with my housemates and I'm looking for a place where I fit and is home. I spend my downtime travelling, camping and hiking with friends. I like to bake (didn't realize how much until I went on exchange to Vietnam where they have no ovens). Have just arrived back from Vietnam and need a place before end of feb. Would also really prefer an unfurnished bedroom :) Deal breakers: pot smokers, drugs and alcoholics. Probable deal breaker: smoking. Cheers Catherine
My name is Joseph, I am a French cook who has just arrived in Melbourne, I am currently working full time in a restaurant in south bank and I am looking for a room (or a roommate) to rent For at least 6 months, I am very clean and tidy, friendly and easy going, all I ask is the same respect I would give to you! I would be super happy to make new friends and who likes to have a drink from time to time. If you are interested in a message please.thanks
Hi, I'm Kelly - 22 years old, moving to Melbourne to begin a degree in Melbourne uni and hope to move in a new flat in July. I am a neat, quiet and hard-working girl. My interest is writing code everyday. I'm also shy, and extremely respectful of others peoples space. . Ideally I would like to find a place to stay which is close to the Melbourne uni.
Hey! I'm moving to Melbourne On the 8th of February from New Zealand. I am a Film and Media Graduate who used to live in the US but came home to finish studying. I specialise mainly in Photography. I am a very trustworthy, kind and honest person. Someone you can rely on for a heart to heart or a glass of wine ;) I like to live a pretty chill life style but love to occasionally go out but never bring it home. In between working full time I plan to travel occasionally but still come home. Look forward to talking to all!
I'm not a party animal, I love video games and board games, I like socializing but totally happy respecting other people's privacy and like to have my alone time as well. I'm also very open-minded towards getting outside and being active. I work full time in IT in the CBD so either somewhere there or at least near public transport would be great. I'm not a huge fan of leaving a lot of my mess around, but I won't harass you about your stuff. I also have a fairly large flat screen that I can bring to the table (and a literal, large fold-out wooden table if you want that too). Hit me up if you want someone clean, who'll pay on time, isn't afraid to socialize and maybe even get you interested in board games!
Full time visual merchandising TAFE student seeking house or flat share situation (private room) with one or two females. FIrst time living out of home but well versed in the basics of running a household and being responsible. It will be a new experience living with people other than family for the first time, so having a flat mate/s a bit older would probably suit well. Will be mostly studying during the week but using weekends to let hair down and be with friends/interact socially. Personality is a bit quirky (in a good 'sense of humour' way), creative and articulate. Mother (in pic) is helping search to find the right fit.
Hiya! I'm looking for a room to rent for at least 6 months, possibly longer, with a car park/permit! I'm currently in QLD, but moving to Melbourne early Feb for work reasons. As for me, I'm a bit of a foodie, so I love the city for that and love going out and trying new places! I like to stay pretty social so while I'm not a big partier I am happy to go out for a drink on the weekends or even host a casual dinner party or board game night with friends (I guess I'm a bit of a nerd at heart)! On a regular weeknight I'm probably more inclined to relax and watch some movies or netflix :)
Emily and I are moving over from Perth - we both fly over early Feb (around the 6th) then will get suss out airbnbs/temp accomodation until we find somewhere permanent! so would love to have something more permanent organised any time after that, sooner the better really :) I'm a freelance designer with Perth, Melbourne and US clients, I'll end up getting a studio space once we're settled but for now work from my laptop either home or at out. Emily is studying full time in Jewellery Design (Fairfield) and currently works in retail. Emily has a car but it's staying here in perth until she gets it sent over later, so next to public transport is a must for us both! We're on the hunt for a third room mate to team up with just to get a better house/living arrangements. We're both super creative and fun people, love socialising but also love our own personal space when we need it! Definitely not keen on a party house but love some sneaky red wine every now again and don't mind a night out every once in a while! Budget depends on the a few things - I'm happy to pay more for a bigger room or happy to discuss depending on the houses we look at! Emily's budget is pretty set at $170p/w as she's a student Location wise - pretty open to anywhere around to what i've put down!
Hi there! My name is Grace and I am a 23yr old female moving to Melbourne all the way from sunny Brisbane. I have recently graduated from University with a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Media and Communication and I am looking to further my career in a new city! I have lived in many share houses before so I have a great understanding of respect, privacy and cleanliness! I am quite a private person myself but I am always up for a chat over dinner and some roommate bonding time. I have always paid my rent and bills on time, and maintained clean common areas. When I have a spare moment I love to go adventuring and hiking out in nature. I also enjoy yoga, cooking and writing in my free time :)
Hi, I'm Nur. I'm a Singaporean. I am an introvert person but I can socialize too (I am very friendly, depends on the situation). Sometimes I can be funny and I make stupid jokes. I love art and design. I'm a Freelance Graphic Designer (One of the reason, I spend a lot of time in front of my laptop). Also, I'm going to be a full-time student in RMIT University City Campus for Semester 1, 2017. Looking for an ensuite room (If available). Preferably in a 2 or 3 bedroom house with a smoke-free environment and strictly female housemate-only. P/S: I'm a very clean and respectful person. I love tidy and neat house.
Hello! I'm friendly, tidy, vibrant and a super creative person and I'm very respectful. I'm a musician, dancer, and artist and I love to socialise, but I also cherish my own space. I have a pet cat, she's really fat and loving and I promise you will fall in love with her and her rolls.
Friendly and easy-going gal from Darwin. Looking for a place to stay for about 3-4 weeks while I look for a place of my own to rent. Preferably close to city and girls only. Wanting to move to Melbourne to persue a job career. I get along great with other people and believe I'd be an awesome person to share with :)
Hi name is carolina, I'm a nineteen years old and I live from one month in sorrento, a small city (1 hour from Melbourne). I actually work in a restaurant but I would like to move in Melbournes. I am an honest girl and I always want to give my best. I finished high school one year ago and I studied human sciences. I also worked two months in London as a waitress and when I was in Italy, I worked in my father's cafe.
I am a soon-to-be 19 year old who is in second year for psychology and neuroscience at Swinburne Uni. I'm currently living at home in Geelong and am looking to move to Melbourne to make the journey to uni much easier. I am very tidy, financially reliable and am quite independent. I'm happy to cook my own meals, do washing and cleaning, and I get along with animals very well! I am really respectful of others' privacy and am always happy to do my own thing in my room, but also wouldn't mind the occasional meal or drinks together too. My hobbies include playing music, games, keeping fit and binge watching tv series on Netflix. I enjoy going out with friends, but I'm not looking for a party house. My own room is a must, and I would prefer if it could fit a double bed and a desk comfortably. I don't mind sharing with people in their late 20's, and if it's just a two bedroom place I would prefer to share with another girl. Anywhere in the CBD or surrounding suburbs would be excellent - I really like areas like Brunswick and South Yarra. My budget sits around $200, with $250 being the max per week including bills. If I sound like a suitable house mate please do get in contact with me, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have! Thanks a bunch, Ella :)

26 DOB 19/04/1990 Looking to move Late April 2017. I grew up in Perth WA (WaitAwait) Australia Have friends in Melbs already. But looking for a cheap start to my integration to the city. I have recently returned from a three month holiday in the US, visiting old college mates from my time spent studying a business bachelor and playing college baseball (2008-2012.) The holiday was the trip I needed for inspiration to begin a new path in life at 26. I am a very grounded individual, perhaps with no spectacular specific skills but I believe I posses an attitude and vibe that can integrate into any environment. I am currently open minded to all offers who wish to discuss their home sharing situation and see if are able to live together. I still play baseball but at an amateur level and less competitively and may take a year off while i settle into Melbourne and work on my knew passion, Music production and writing music. ( I can do my work with head phone when required :) haha) I also have a currently 7 Month old Husky (MegMac) she will be just 1 YO by the time i am ready to move into melbs. She is extremely placid and well trained as an out side dog from her birth. She is still a shy puppy so I'm guessing she will be a little shy to start with a move to big city. Kind regards Adam, Adam, Adz, G333, the list goes on
I'm easy to get along with. I'm outgoing, friendly , polite, respectful and considerate. They're no big deal because that should be your minimum requirement of me. I work full time at The Department of Transport. My passion is theatre and have been an actor for 40+ years so my free time is usually taken up with this. I like people and being around them, but I'm also respectful of their privacy and the need to give space when required. I'm originally from UK but have lived here for 26 years. I've recently separated from my partner, hence my search.
I am a full time student, who spends a lot of time studying. I would like to live in a nice relaxing environment where I can spend some of my down time after a long day at uni. I am friendly, clean and respectful of others.
Hi there, My name is Wen Hui. Previously I worked at big 4 as a tax specialist and I will be studying master of accounting in Uni Melb on Feb 2017. My hobbies are travel and cooking. While I was a student at university, I was on two exchange programs to study at Vienna (so I know a little bit German) and Stockholm (one semester each) and pretty much explored most of the countries in Europe. After graduating, I backpacked to South East Asia for few months. I'd describe my personality as very open minded, extravert (can be introvert at times), and interesting. While the time I don't travel, I go to cafes, reading or doing my work. I also like to hit the bars and just to chill on weekends. Lastly, as I got international graduate merit scholarship, I guess I will be quite studious to secure the entitlement. Thus, I will need my personal space. If you think we might get along with each other, please contact me and we can find place to stay together :)

Hi, my name is Esther and i'm a 22 year old female starting work as a registered nurse at Caulfield Hospital. I'm a pretty friendly person and enjoy spending time with friends at bars, beaches, and hiking trails, though i don't get to do these things as often as i would like. I really enjoy baking, painting, sketching and music, am generally a tidy person, and very respectful of others' space and needs (especially those studying), but am always up for a good chat or night out. Looking for a social place to live, not just a room to rent. Thanks, Esther
I'm well independent. Very clean, tidy and a great company for chats, dining and drinks. Love trying out new restaurants and cafes a bit of a foodie - definitely that type who would instagram my food plus I do love food photography and I'm hoping to make a career out of it. I'm a barista and photographer by trade. Can make you a cup of coffee or an espresso martini anytime, any day. I'm doing personal growth thing and have decided to move to Melbourne from the Gold Coast. I have visited Melbourne a handful of times and I fell in love with the city. I'm looking for a room with preferable my own bathroom and a secure carpark. I have some furniture and a coffee machine that I'll be bringing with me. Ideal flat mates would be sociable people but respects privacy as well. We can chat and party if need be or watch Netflix docu or chick fliks cause we can. I'll be focusing on my health and career once I move to Melbourne so it would be nice to settle in a cool place with you all.
I have lived in share houses and alone. I'm clean, responsible and respectful. My cat is 12 years old and fully house trained. I have a cat door insert which goes into any sliding door if needed. My cat prefers to be alone but other pets wouldn't be an issue. I'm moving to Melbourne to study music full time from Canberra and need a place thats close to the city or public transport.
I am a bubbly, personable, fun loving lady who likes to have a laugh. I have a full time job in hospitality which means I am not at home during standard working hours. I am clean and tidy and enjoy socialising as well as my own quiet time.
Very easy going, reliable and clean. Going back to study full time, part time job on the side. Ideally seeking others who are interested in teaming up for a new share house as I have had nightmares moving into rooms in existing share-houses in regards to outstanding bills upon moving in, bond transfers... etc. Would prefer a fresh start, with the lease and bills in everyones name. However would consider moving into an unfurnished room in an existing house given that everything is sorted out properly and the existing housemates are the right fit. Move in date on or just before the 18th of march when my current lease expires. Flexible with stay length but would ideally like a minimum of one year so things are nice and settled. Send me a message if you are interested in teaming up or have something that you reckon would be suitable.
My name is Sophie, 25, from the UK. Looking for accommodation in Melbourne. I'm a happy, very tidy, clean respectful, reliable individual. I'm very easy to get along with and have a chat with and would make a great house mate :)!.
Hi, I am currently a student at Monash University studying Primary Education and Science. I'm looking for a room to stay in for both semesters 1 and 2. I am clean, tidy and can look after myself. If there is something that needs doing I generally just do it, and I'm more than happy to help with household chores, cleaning and cooking. I make kick ass stews and like to bake. I am also a cheerleader and will be either training or working most nights of the week. Otherwise I like to chill out, read or play guitar. I've been playing guitar for a long time, and I generally play when I'm bored and there's no one around. I've traveled a lot around the world and lived with many different people so I generally just try and get along with everyone so we can live together.
