Hi there! I am Priscilla a student from Singapore, I will be studying at Monash University, Caulfield campus taking my degree for 3 years and I would like to find a place that's convenient. I love to read and paint, I do cook a lot, however, I will make sure to clean up after as I am quite particular about cleanliness and I do get along well with animals as well as children!
I am a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam who quit his job after working 8 years full time as a young professional in Telecommunications. I did this because I realized my current life situation was not going to make me happy in the end. I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. That's why I'm looking for a place to call home for a longer period. I'm also looking for work so I probably will be working full time or at least as much as possible. People appreciate me because of my positive, outgoing and happy attitude. I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. I don't take life too seriously, I just try to make the best out of every moment. I'm sociable, reliable, friendly, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beers and I am a music lover in general (would love to learn to play any instrument!). Other things I appreciate: food & cooking, traveling, sustainable living, serious conversations, coffee, yoga, spirituality and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy place with a 'small-community' feeling to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Coburg, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor or surrounding area's. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So if you are looking for an awesome housemate, don't hesitate to contact me right away so we could arrange a chat in real life soon (that probably gives a way better impression of myself then this story)
Hiya I'm a gal from England currently on exchange for a year studying at Monash university. I've been here for one semester where I stayed at halls but am looking to move into the city to be closer to shops and bars. I'm really sociable and love going out for drinks and meals but my days will mostly be spent at uni and studying. I'm clean and am more then happy to share cleaning responsibilities around the place :)
Hello! I'm Saskia, and I'm a 26 year old marketing exec from Perth. I've recently relocated to Melbourne for my job, and am looking for a place as close to my work as possible. I'm super easygoing, friendly, considerate, clean, neat, tidy, and sociable - but I also love staying in and having quality me-time. On weekends, I prefer a nice glass of Port and homeade tapas over partying out, any time. I love to travel, eat, watch soccer, make new friends and would most likely be flying back and forth to Perth often to visit my family from time to time!
Looking to move ASAP! Heeyy my name is Melissa, 21, English but has lived in Australia half of my life. Been living in Noosa Queensland but looking for a new experience in the city! Very down to earth and friendly, I'm very adaptable and get along with everyone! Im pretty social and love to have drink dates and lunch dates, or going out to gigs. Enjoy my own alone time too to and I've been told im the easiest person to live with hahah. Love nothing more than chilling and listening to good music with even better people. Im very clean and I love beach chills and cooking; Will happily make dinner for my housemates a couple of nights a week if you're into that ha. Been working in hospitality in Noosa for a few years now and I will be doing similar work in Melbourne.
Hi, my name is Jay. I currently reside in Canberra but I am hoping to make the move to Melbourne in the coming months. A bit about myself: 28, single. I am a great person to share with! This is because I've house shared before and I've been through the usual trials and tribulations that present themselves in all house sharing situations. With that experience, I have come out on the other side unscathed and with a respect for others and their personal space. I work full-time Mon - Fri and usually spend my weekends exploring, attempting to get fit at the gym, countering the gym with greasy takeaway food, naps, PlayStation and bar and event hopping in hopes of meeting new and interesting people. What I am looking for: I am looking for a private room in a share house with 1 to 2 other housemates. However, if you would like to consider me for a team-up I'm open to that! I am hoping to find others who are respectful, clean and great to live with. Age, sexual orientation, gender and the like are no concerns for me. Just be yourself and we will probably get along! So with that said if you are seeking somebody who pays their share of the rent and bills on time, who isn't argumentive and loves escalating a joke beyond its limits then I'm your guy!
Nina & Kate met in Guatemala back in November and were planning to conquer this exotic side of the world anyway, so re-joined forces a few weeks ago and decided they wanted to try the Melbourne thing for a bit (while it's still hot-ish!) Nina is a plant lover, chef & yogini from The Netherlands, but has spent the last 8 years living in the UK/London. She has spent much time bouncing around different countries, but always returning to London; not any more, as she got rid of all her belongings and headed for South America last October, trying all the food and documenting everything through photos and writing. Kate is an aspiring writer, 40s fiend & rap lover from Toronto and has previously lived in Australia, but wants to live out her dream of working in a bookshop as a temporary (possibly permanent!) Melbournite. She also needed that extra push and sold all her beloved furniture to journey in to the unknown. Both ladies agree that - No plan is the best plan Wine is always an option Whatever you manifest internally is exuded externally Ned Kelly was a babe & both aren't a huge fan of - Techno Eating badly Self absorbed humans Negative vibes

My name is Ben Gunn and I am a 22 y/o recent graduate from the University of Canterbury in NZ. I'm moving to Melbourne on March 8 for a change of scenery, work and to meet new people. I have been flatting for the past 4 years while at uni so I know how to keep a place spotless, respect other peoples boundaries, while also having a good time! I love sports (rugby, cricket, basketball etc) and play a bit of cricket and basketball when possible. I do a bit of gaming on ps4, but don't spend countless hours on it! I enjoy a beer or six every now and then, and always like exploring new places. I am also into learning about the world around me, as I think it is important in today's day and age to have an open mind! You will have to excuse my facebook link, I was using my girlfriends computer and it linked her profile, not mine sorry!
Friendly, clean, easy going. From the UK originally, in Aus for 10 years. Work in online advertising. Like to cook healthy food, and to get out and about to artsy stuff, live music, etc... Hoping to find somewhere fairly central and someone nice to share with :)

From what i've heard, i'm apparently a warm, good natured bloke who loves nothing more than a good yarn and laugh. I'd describe myself as a classic text book introvert; Not much of a party animal, would happily say come down for a good gander but prefer my own company etc... Ideally, I'd like to live within an environment that was relatively quiet, drug free and has a good respect of boundaries.
Canadian musician/writer just finished backpacking the east coast, looking to get acquainted with the Melbourne music scene and meet some locals. I'm super easygoing, would be happy to go for beers and see the town or keep to myself and read a book. I have an acoustic guitar and I aim to find some gigs and some work while in town. Can offer songs, laughs, stories of my travels and general good company!
We are a married couple who'll be moving to Melbourne towards the end of March 2017. We have a 4 year old daughter who goes to school. I am a chartered accountant, my husband is an ex-army officer and currently a musician. We like to party and live life to the fullest. We go kayaking, mountaineering and hiking together which makes us an adventurous and fun-loving couple. Other than that, we are a young; very easy-going couple who gel in with people quite easily. We like to lead a routine life that starts with a 5 a.m. jog/ gym and ends at 10 pm except for weekends.
Hi I'm looking for short term accommodation. I'm in between houses, waiting for friends to arrive from interstate which we will get a long term rental together. I'm looking for 2weeks - 6weeks short term, negotiable I work in St Kilda in advertising, very easy going and chilled person. 😊
Hi everyone! My name is Safia and I just moved to Melbourne from Canada! I am a very neat and tidy person who is respectful of shared spaces. I'm also very outgoing and easy to get along with. Send me a message if you think I would be a good fit!
We're 2 Vietnamese overseas uni students (23 doing a Master Degree at Monash University in Clayton & 18 doing an Associate Degree at RMIT in the city) and we're looking for a place to stay in Melbourne during our uni years! 2 private bedrooms preferred and our budget is $400-$450/ week (shared). It would be nice if we can rent the unit for our own or share it with a 3rd person if it is a 3 bedroom unit/ house. Because we do have income from our parents as well as part-time jobs, we will definitely be up to date with our payments. We are both non-smokers and we would not mind to have a drink at the end of the day but neither of us are party goers. We would also like to keep our place clean and tidy. Our planned move-in date is after February 20th so please message us as soon as possible if you think we are suitable to live with :) Thank you !
I've recently moved over from the UK and looking for a place to call home. I'm very clean, tidy, reliable and respectful of people's things. I'm a finance professional so will be working during the week. Love meeting new people and happy to chill out with flat mates but also like my own space too. Hobbies include dancing, Thai boxing, keeping fit but love food, all types of food :)

Hi all! My name is Ellie and I am full time employed and currently working in the CBD. I work hard during the day and look forward to relaxing at home so I'm looking for a peaceful house. Though I do enjoy a drink or two 😉 My pleasures: great food, good conversation, a good laugh, good film, art, nature, the sun and sea, keeping up to date with global/political issues and just making great memories. I love socialising but also enjoy my own space. I recently adopted a 5 week old kitten, Mellow, who is just adorable so he is part of the package. I'm a responsible, clean and tidy woman who is looking for similar housemate/s. 😊
Hey, am a fresh grad who just started working in the city so preferably somewhere close would be great. I'm a clean person (or so I think) and sociable! Most of all a responsible one, on time for bills and etc. Can keep to myself and also up for a drinks like so many on here are anyway... Not really a party person but always down for something fun. Pretty much that I guess? If it matters, I don't smoke, good with pets (my pic has a dog with me but it's not showing). Right now I'm looking for a third person to share an apartment with along with another guy! If you're keen about knowing more, just message me and maybe we can have a drink and talk about it!
Self employed girl geak engineer and electronic music lover. I am looking for a new home with people who have a life outside of the house but also like to chill and share a wine and chat from time to time. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do, not fussed on what others eat or sexuality as its all relative, each to their own. Mutual respect is where it's at. Flexible with move dates, ideally mid to late March. If you have a garden, that would be awesome. Again, not a deal breaker though. I love animals but don't have any. It would be cool to live with someone who has a dog, happy to help out walking it sometimes even. 6 months minimum is preferred because it's a bit of a mission changing homes. :)
Israeli with aussie citizinship, currently living with my brother, working in editing in TV, I am very chill and adaptable, just trying to slowly build a life here in melbourne. would like to find a place where I can have my privacy but also have people around to talk to which could be nice. yeah that sounds about right :)
I am a very easy going exchange student from England looking for an easy going house share. I study Physics at Monash Clayton and so a property nearby would be perfect. I love to cook and would be glad to cook some meals for the house to try!
Hi, we are a German couple. We want to find a long term accomodation as we are planning to stay three to four years in Melbourne. We both have been living in shared flats for many years and are looking for a relaxed rather than a party place. Let me write a bit about us so you get a first impression. We both have studied in the beautiful little town of Heidelberg in the South West of Germany and have been a couple since 2010. We decided to go to Australia a year ago and Andrea found a job as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University in Clayton. Before her job starts in March we took the opportunity to travel throughout New Zealand. Now the real adventure begins, we have to find a place to live and get settled into our new lives. We both enjoy nature, outdoors and like to go for walks or day hikes. We cook a lot and like to invite friends for dinner every once in a while. Arne: I have studied cultural anthropology, political science and psychology. I like to travel and I have seen my share of the world: I was one of the countless backpackers in Oz after my civil service in 2005. Later I went to Chile for an exchange year. The university there was not so good, so I rather started travelling throughout Latin America from Fireland to Mexico. I took my time to finish my studies and read some more interesting books about world history, philosophy and the global financial system. After university I tried to get a job in an IT company and was more than surprised when they actually hired me. I did a crash course in IT & project management and really liked it. In 2014 my company sent me to work for one of the big banks in Zurich, Switzerland, and I have stayed there until moving to Melbourne. Once we are settled in I will start looking for an IT job again. I have been playing indoor volleyball for my entire life and want to join a team again. But let's find a new home first... Andrea: I grew up in a German city close to the Dutch border and did my bachelor in Nijmegen. I moved to Heidelberg for my master in molecular biology and to Uppsala, Sweden, for an exchange semestre. I got my PhD in 2015. I had a great Ultimate Frisbee team in Heidelberg and am really looking forward to join one in Melbourne. So please let us know if you think we would fit in. Happy to come over to get to know eatch other in person.
Hey I'm Dan, 22, full time employed in financial services, laid back, gay, pretty extraverted. I'm relatively new to Melbourne and looking to move near the CBD. Would love to find one or more cool housmates. I like Great food, beer, wine & whisky and I'm told I'm excellent company to binge watch nextflix and drink cheap wine with. If your a fan of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones or South Park that's already a great start. I'm pretty chilled out, like to keep a clean place. I don't have any gender or cultural preferences on who I live with, as long as your friendly and good company I'm we will get along great. Also somewhere with a car park would be great.
I am currently a Manager for cotton on relocating to Melbourne. I am a very laid back guy, easy to get along with and very respectable. I am a bit of a clean freak so cleaning up after myself wont be an issue! I will be working 4 days one week and 6 days the following week in a fortnight, so I wont be around all the time. I am very into my health and fitness and love to have a bit of fun on the weekend! I am a very easy person to get along with, but also know how to and respect personal space :)
I am 23 and working in the health industry with a full time job. I am very reliable with paying rent and have rented through an agent and privately before. I am clean, respectful and like to be social but also like my own space. I am from the country originally therefore very friendly and like to go to the beach, cook and bake delicious food and be active outdoors as much as possible. Also enjoy a good night out with friends on the weekends.
Heya I'm Johnny ! I'm 23 and work as a barista in south Yarra. Love down time and relaxing when the working week allows but also enjoy being social every now and then. I'm not a loud person and I always try to be respectful and considerate of others. Looking for a place to call home and friends to call family. Let's catch up for a coffee !
I'm travelling from Canada on a working holiday visa with my partner Alex. I'm a vet nurse, he's into marketing management. We've been living and working in Cairns for the past 6 months, made a stopover in Bali and will be arriving to Melbourne on Monday 27th. We are looking for a room for 1 week while we get settled in and find long term accommodation. We are quite, professional, down to earth people. Hopefully this short notice arrangement can work. Thank you
50% Brazilian, 50% French and a big cup of coffee addiction for both of us. Easy going, we are looking for a room in a share flat with some people who love good food and sometimes sharing one (or two ... or three) glass of wine.
Moving down to Melbourne with my girlfriend and am looking for a house somewhere close to the city with cool people to live with. We are really easy going and can get along with anyone, super tidy, chilled out, love to hang out but also respect the fact that people like their own down time and space.
Hello all people on the hunt for a housemate! First of all, please excuse my giant face. Every photo I try to upland somehow turns into a slightly unflattering close up. Anyhow, I am a bubbly and positive human being, and have just moved to Melbourne. I study full time at Deakin (sport and exercise science) and hope to find work in the industry once settled in my new home. I love spending my free time in the kitchen, or being active whether it be in the gym, doing yoga, dancing, walks, or general adventuring. Occasionally the couch gets the best of me and I may spend the day binge watching a series on Netflix. I like having a clean and serene space to call home. I do enjoy my "alone time", especially after busy days, but I would love to find a place to share stories and grow into friends with my housemate(s). My partner lives in Sydney, so I would be going away for a weekend every now and then, but I hope to find a place where he would also be welcome to stay over on occasion. I'd prefer to find a room that is at least partially furnished, as my possessions are quite limited. Still open to finding any space that feels like home though. My budget going up to $250 would hopefully include the bills and internet, or at least most of them, though this is negotiable depending on other details - so please don't hesitate to ask! My preferred length of stay of 3 months can extend to be significantly longer if the place is right, but I would like to see how I settle in in the area and if it is convenient for my weekly schedule. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you believe we might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you. Warmest regards, Anniina
I am an international student from Canada studying in first year of physiotherapy school. I enjoy weightlifting, skiing, cooking and gardening. I am clean and respectful, but also like to get out and socialize.
Hi! I'm looking for a house in St Kilda to share with one other person. I come with a fair bit of furniture so if that's where you're lacking then I can help you out. I tend to keep to myself during the week but don't mind a cheeky drink or a few over the weekend along with a bit of a boogie. I work full time while attempting to study at home. I enjoy riding my bike whenever I get the chance or hanging out at the park for a chat. I like to think I'm a pretty laid back housemate. Responsible, tidy, respectful and whatever else wins me a home. I'm looking for a place to stay 6months-1year.
I'm a friendly guy with a healthy sense of humour who works full time at Monash Uni. I wouldn't mind living with people who are down for a chat, or to hang out and watch netflix
I work part-time as a registered nurse. I'm looking for an unfurnished room for 12 months. A little bit about me ... I'm friendly, easy-going and sociable. I like to keep my space clean and tidy. I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. When I'm not studying or working I enjoy catching up with friends for dinner/drinks and being out and about, but I also like a bit of downtime at home. I'd love to find housemates with similar values and interests.
Hello! I am a 24-year-old female from San Francisco, CA studying Communications and Media Studies at Swinburne for a semester. I also work part-time and am extremely responsible financially! I am often inspired and a lover of all things creative: dancing, music, graphic design, fine arts, and food! Whether it's a mom and pop shop, hole-in-the-wall eatery, cafe or bar, I love to explore new places (which is why I'm here in Melbourne!). I'm a friendly and considerate roommate and always prefer clean environments where I stay. I would love to discuss further details about a space to stay at during my time in the beautiful city of Melbourne!
