Hey! I would like to find a room in a shared flat with students for the period of 14th April till end of september. I'm used to live with flatmates and I appreciate a "normal" tidy home ;-) I'm a respectful and spontaneous flatmate with a good humour. I'm in Melbourne to write my masters thesis in analysing remotely sensed data. Feel free to contact me, I'm pleased to meet you! Cheers :-) Kim
Easy going Brit, usual stuff: 1. Tidy (but not anal) 2. Respectful (I won't eat your cheese out the fridge) 3. Sociable (loves to chat, drink and sometimes cook with housemates, and other friends too) I've been in Melbourne only 6 weeks (I have residency here so I'm staying here indefinitely). I have a Monday to Friday office job so weeknights are very chilled but on the weekend I'll be out & about and usually up for a party. I'm not big into sports, I'm a meat eater but also really like veggie food, love everything to do with food in fact, love beer and going to the pub or beach, love to travel, love trying new things, definitely not racist and don't care if you're gay or straight, not one to stay in my room all day (unless I have a hellish hangover that is!) Anything else you want to know, just ask!
Hiya I'm a gal from England currently on exchange for a year studying at Monash university. I've been here for one semester where I stayed at halls but am looking to move into the city to be closer to shops and bars. I'm really sociable and love going out for drinks and meals but my days will mostly be spent at uni and studying. I'm clean and am more then happy to share cleaning responsibilities around the place :)
Hi, my name's Alessandro, I'm a 19-yearold italian guy who is here with a working holiday visa. I'll stay here in Australia untill december and in these months I'm gonna work. At this moment I'm working full time at the Pantry in Brighton. I'm a nice person, I love making new firends, love animals (dogs especially), I can speak italian, english, german and a little bit of spanish. I don't mind if someone smokes.
Hi there! My name is Della. I'm a new student to Monash University in 2017 and require a place for a short stay (up to 2 months) while an apartment I am renting is being built. I am friendly, clean and can keep to myself and not make much noise. I'm from Orange which is Central West NSW so it's a big move to Melbourne. I love listening to music, reading and exploring new places!
Hi I'm Laurence! I'm great at repairing things. But only if prompted to. My friends would tell you I'm friendly, kind and easy to get along with. They might also tell you to avoid my cooking, but I'm getting better everyday. I've lived around the south east for years and most of my work is around here. I'm an electrician and occasionally do further study at night. For fun I read alot, go to the gym, play piano, watch films, play stocks and hit golf balls. Hope to meet you soon Laurence
Hi I moved from Perth to Melbourne on the 17th of February. I got a job persueing an advancement in my career. I'm a kind and considerate person and in general a happy person that smiles a lot and makes quirky little jokes. I'm very accomodating to others and have respect for their belongings. Looking for some outgoing people, yet people that can value some quiet time as well. I'll be working hard, and will also be looking at studying business managment and marketing. I love my live music, and a beer to go with it (it's good thing I moved to Melb's) Hoping Melbourne's comedy and improve scene will have something to offer as I can be a bit of a movie buff, although I don't get much time these days. As I settle in, most likely will be looking at playing some sports and/or joining a gym. For the most part, I like exploring new things, places and having a drink whilst doing so. I have no prefrance to males or females. I have a pretty laid back approach when it comes to my social life, a spontaneous happy go lucky outlook really. I do the chores and keep things tidy as I go. I've lived with a couple previously, then lived on my own. So to sum it up, just some fun, friendly people that will make my Melbourne experience a welcome one 😊
Hello! Im a bright, bubbly 23 year old looking for a new share house to move to! I'm a tidy, considerate housemate who is quiet mid-week around my full time work hours. I've lived by myself for 6months and in a share house for 10months (most recently) and I'm looking to move to pursue a career promotion to somewhere close enough to Southland Shopping centre - bus or train access (i don't drive at the moment). I come with a fully kitted out bedroom so un-furnished would be preferable! I could store some of the furniture but at a minimum would prefer my own bed... I also work for a candle and homewares company so the house will smell amazing! I cook, clean regularly and take pride in my home so I'd love to do some decorating! About me: Im definitely keen on the Netflix binge... probably a bit too much! I spend all day talking to people so some mind-numbing tv is definitely nice/needed! I read a lot - try to go to a park and read to get some vitamin D when i can. I love going to the movies (mostly for cinema popcorn) and out for brunch. I have a lot of friends in the Carnegie/Malvern area so I like to go out and about, catch up with people and have dinner out on my weekends off. I always loved cooking but i have been enjoying it even more since i moved out - i do enjoy trying new recipes and putting on some music, dancing around the kitchen while i cook! I visit my family a lot because i have 2 baby bros under the age of 5 and i stay with my nans once every 2-3weeks to keep her company. Plus my mum lives in Country Victoria, about 3hrs out of Melbourne, so if i get a long weekend off, I'm usually up visiting her! I also study Human Rights with my Arts degree so between full time work and study I'm pretty busy!! I usually work from 8:30am - 6pm with one day off mid week, and then every second weekend so I'm a hermit mid-week and on my working weekend but i don't mind a casual wine or two after work to wind down with dinner and a movie. Please get in touch if you think i would be a good fit! Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm easy-going, clean and responsible. I'm studying full time and working part time, so I won't be around the house too much. I'm happy to socialise and I also like my own space. I'm looking for a room for only 2 months.
Hey guys, I'm a 27 year old young professional, who is friendly, easy going, clean and tidy. I've been in my current share house with 2 others for 4 great years, but we are now moving onto other things. I love getting away on weekends and heading outdoors bike riding, skiing or sailing with friends. During the week I work full time as a mechanical engineer and I head to the gym a few nights after work. I try to cook healthy as much as possible, but still like having a few lazy take away nights. Look forward to hearing from you! Alex
Hey! I am a Norwegian student, studying journalism and human rights at Monash University. I would love to live close to both the city and the Uni, with flatmates that I get along with, who would like to have a chat or hang out from time to time, but also in a home where I can keep to myself to read or watch netflix. I am an outgoing and friendly person, who loves to skate, swim and work with radio. I will always pay on time, and do my duties in the house, when it comes to cleaning, and so on.
Hi lovely people, I'm moving to Melbourne from Adelaide next week due to obtaining a permanent full time Occupational Therapist position in a private hospital. I have lived in Melbourne previously and know my way around and have friends and family close by. I am looking for a friendly, clean and quiet share house with one other professional person. I am a sociable, ambitious and empathetic person who enjoys cooking and eating clean, being active and creative and loves to learn more about the world, people and myself everyday. I have lived in many successful share houses previously, both as the person offering a house and a person looking for a house. Hoping to find a housemate who enjoys a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the house while also busy with their own lives. Il be pretty quiet and routine during the week and most likely catch up with friends/go to yoga/out for dinner on the weekends. Please get in contact if you think we may be a good fit and if you have anything else you would like to ask. I am driving over Thursday 23rd feb and looking to move somewhere asap after that as I start work on the 27th and will be staying far away from work with family until I find a place. Thanks very much, Kari :)
Very easy going. I like to keep the house clean and tidy ☺into my fitness and a huge foodie so like to cook. Stay in most weekends and keep to myself ! Keeping busy with work and training.
Hi, My name is Samuel and I am a 24 year old chemistry student from Italy. For the next 4 month I will be studying at Monash University and I am looking for a room for my time in Melbourne. I am a very easy going person and easy to live with. When I am not in the lab, I like spending time outside, doing sports or just chill out at home or with friedns. Hello! I am from Malaysia and I will be studying Bachelor of Business in Monash University Caulfield campus. I am an easy going person and I respects people's privacy. Looking for a place that is walking distance to Monash University.
I'm Amy, a Monash uni postgraduate student. I am easy going and would like to make more friends by living in a shared house. I would like to obey the room agreement made by the host. I have good living habits and will always bear in mind that i live with others, will not affect others life.
I am an economics graduate coming from Spain. The reason why I am in Australia is because I read that masters degree here are so good but I do not want to pay that amount of money without knowing how the Australian lifestyle is and if it suits me. Because of that I will be here for the next seven months studying a vocational course while finding a job. I love sports, specially Crossfit and olympic weightlifting, music (almost every style) and TV series. I usually am so calm and serious when something concerns me. I can not bear the mess and this is why I have not had any problems with any of my landlords in my previous homes. If you are willing to know some other things about me, do not hesitate to ask. Thank you very much.
Hi ! I am an IT professional , looking to have shared accommodation for 3 months in Melbourne, VIC. I like Peace, Cleanliness, Nature and always ready for sports/game for adrenaline and team up !
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old multimedia designer from Helsinki, Finland. I'm currently working full time in the eastern suburbs and would like find a nice share house located somewhere between the city and my work. I'm responsible, open-minded and an easy-going guy. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I have plenty of share house experience from around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy and a reasonable amount of cleanliness around the house. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Hey everyone, I'm Andrew. Im a 22 year old completing my Honours year at Monash University Caulfield, and looking for a place to say in the area. Hi there! My name is Dara and I am a 24 year old medical scientist who works full time in the CBD. I'm from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for nearly a year! I've been living in share houses since I was 18 and consider myself very respectful of others and keep communal living areas very tidy. I also have a decent amount of furniture (couch, tv, fridge, washing machine plus my own bedroom furniture) which I can contribute if needed! I've been given 60 days to vacate my current property as the landlord is selling so I can move in whenever suits. Hope you consider me as a new housemate! :)
I'll be moving from India to Melbourne on around 20th Feb. A bit about me: I'm an adjusting fun loving graphic designer from India, 24-year-old, coming to Melbourne to pursue masters of design from Monash university. Looking for a place near to my Univ. I'm quite social but only on weekends. Not a party monster. Respects everyone's privacy. If interested, please message! 🙂 Hoping to hear from you. 🙂
I'm Tom, I'm an international student at Monash and I work part time at Woolworths. I have lived with family for 3 years in Australia but I wish to stay on while they have/are moving back to Ireland. Even though I'm not Australian I'm very settled here and I want to live with some Aussies because I get on very well with them. I'm very clean and organised, I keep to myself mostly but I'm still very easy going and friendly. I am hard working when it comes to uni so I will probably be spending a lot of time studying and in my down time I'll probably be with my girlfriend or my friends - I'm easy when it comes to having friends over, if you don't want it then I won't do it! I drink a lot of tea and coffee so I will regularly offer to make you a hot drink. I study Science and Arts at Monash in both Clayton and Caulfield campuses and I'm majoring in Zoology and Ancient History. I absolutely love animals so if you own any I'll be more than happy to share my space with them - although I'm slightly allergic to cats (I'm well used to living with them though). My ideal place would be one with a big back garden because I have a BBQ and an outdoor table in my current place that I'd like to take with me. I'd also prefer an unfurnished room because I have a lot of furniture to bring including a bed, desk, bedside table and drawers. I don't really have an ideal flatmate, as I said I'm very easy going so whether you're the type to keep to yourself or if you want a friend I think I'd be a good addition to your place. I'm a very studious person who loves learning new things but I'm also really relaxed and love just chilling out and reading, playing games and soccer.
I'm moving to melbourne for uni, doing a masters of translation. I'm friendly, tidy, easy going. Looking for a place with a secured backyard for my super friendly jack russel, Gary. I like to play netball, frisbee, and to occasionally bake. I enjoy my own company but also happy to socialise.
Hi, my name is Lisa and I am 21 years old. I am originally from Batemans Bay in NSW. I am moving to Melbourne for university. I am starting a bachelor of Fine Arts at Monash university! I am a friendly, happy, chatty and bubbly individual. I love travelling, art, trying new things and coffee. I have spent the last 1.5 years living in England, working and travelling around Europe. I am a friendly, tidy, clean and respectable house mate. I am always up for a chat, drink or movie! I am also respectable of other peoples privacy. I look forward to hearing from you.
My name is nelson. I am from Paraguay and I currently looking for a place to stay for 18 months. I am going as a full time student and I will have a reliable income. Very easy going, not a party person but one that loves to have long chats and nice dinners or watch netflix. I love game of thrones and movies. I like playing Ps4, going to the gym, cook my own meals. I am used to live with others, moved to D.C for a few months and make some best friends while studying there. I am respectful and not super crazy about cleaning and tidy but I do like to keep things a little bit organize. I am very responsible with paying the bills and rent. Very relaxed and easy going, the kind of person that just minds his own business. I am that type of guy that makes friends easy and gives good advices but can't actually follow them (a few to be honest). If you are looking for someone more than a flatmate but a real friend, look no further.😃
I have lived in a share house before so I'm no stranger to cleaning rosters and being respectful of everyone's space. I work in a chocolate shop and study part-time. When I'm not doing either of those things I can be found going to dance class, reading, or watching Netflix. I'm not after a party house, but is still rather social, a glass of wine over dinner or random movie nights, for example.

Hello, sherman here from malaysia going to commence courses in feb 2017. I'm have OCD hence able to ensure tidiness and cleanliness. I live a healthy lifestyle. Please do notify me if there's any pleasant place to stay near train stations or near Monash caulfield itself :)
I've just returned to Melbourne as the withdrawals from quality coffee and the live music scene just got too much! I've spent the last 3 years enjoying the beach life in Adelaide and a good chunk of last year travelling Europe after deferring my studies. I'm an ex-retail manager, turned full time nutrition student (approx 1/2 way through my degree), social, into health and fitness (but not extreme about it), love the outdoors, beach and cooking up a storm. Enjoy a good BBQ, a few drinks on the weekends and getting out and about. I'm either looking to start a new, uncluttered, clean sharehouse with 1-2 people as I have furniture, fridge, washing machine etc to move from Adelaide...OR I can ditch my stuff and join your awesome abode! Aiming to find either a 2 bedroom apartment or 3 bedroom townhouse/house in the inner or outer South Eastern suburbs, close to transport and facilities. Hoping to find like minded people who are easy going, but know how to pay bills on time and clean up after themselves-you know, normal folk! I've been in 2-3 ppl. shares with a mix of guys and girls so pretty flexible with that too. Late Feb-early March would be ideal for me. If your situation is similar, hit me up :) *allergic to cats and deadbeats, sorry
I am a 22 year old who currently lives in Geelong near the coast. I starting a new job in Caulfield in March as a Graduate Paramedic, so looking to move to the area! Would ideally like to live in a relaxed house with housemates who enjoy sharing a social drink every now and again. I enjoy keeping fit and active and surfing in free time :)
Hi, I'm an easy going relaxed male. I do a number of things that are creatively inspired, mainly behind the scenes as a project manager/producer. I also work in the women's footwear industry. Whilst my daily professional life out of the home is very people focused, therefore requiring me to be 'UP' all of the time, my home life is about being relaxed and taking time out, but don't get me wrong, a G &T from time to time wouldn't go a miss. Being clean, tidy and respectful of people's space is part of the course. My actions speak louder then words! I love the outdoors, especially being by rivers and lakes - It's the perfect escape from the concrete jungle!
Hi! I'm 22 and I am a medical student from France. I'm in Melbourne this semester for an internship. My partner Paul, 24, is an Animal caretaker also from France I am comfortable living in community (never lived alone actually). Paul has lived with roommates for a long time. I am a vegetarian. I love books, music (piano, singing), hiking, rock climbing, culture, theater,.. Paul loves scuba diving, swimming, he's passionate about nature, sea life. We are a friendly, tidy and responsible couple. We are looking for a nice place (room or studio) to stay until the end of June. Hope to hear from you, à bientôt! Lola and Paul
I'm from Malaysia and will be doing my masters in Monash Caulfield. I'm a friendly person, easy to get along with and like to keep my place clean and tidy. If you are looking for a flatmate who is not fussy and who respects each other's privacy, do contact me :)
We're 2 Vietnamese overseas uni students (23 doing a Master Degree at Monash University in Clayton & 18 doing an Associate Degree at RMIT in the city) and we're looking for a place to stay in Melbourne during our uni years! 2 private bedrooms preferred and our budget is $400-$450/ week (shared). It would be nice if we can rent the unit for our own or share it with a 3rd person if it is a 3 bedroom unit/ house. Because we do have income from our parents as well as part-time jobs, we will definitely be up to date with our payments. We are both non-smokers and we would not mind to have a drink at the end of the day but neither of us are party goers. We would also like to keep our place clean and tidy. Our planned move-in date is after February 20th so please message us as soon as possible if you think we are suitable to live with :) Thank you !
Hi ! I'm Alex, 21, french student and I will study at Monash University (Caulfield campus). I am really tidy and clean, like watching films, cooking and I am easy going. I'm looking for a room not far from the uni but also easily accessible from the center ! Thanks, see you!
I'm currently moving on from my house in Malvern East, which I live in with Uni friends, and am looking for somewhere to live nearby. I'd be keen to move in on or after the 26th of February and terminate the contract exactly 6 months later (or July 1, whichever is earlier). A bit about me: I'm 21 years of age and currently studying Arts/Law at Monash University. I moved up to live at Monash in 2014, living in the Halls during semester and share houses over the summer break. As a result, I've had plenty of experience living with a diverse bunch of people over the last 3 years, which has been so great getting to know so many different people! Around the house I'm clean and tidy, and am willing to adapt to any mutual agreements regarding expectations regarding cleanliness, shared food, dishwashing etc etc... I take Uni seriously and am dedicated to my studies. I have academic and career goals and work very hard during semester. As a result I'm well organised when it comes to rental payments, bills, etc. I work part-time for Monash University in the Alumni relations team, and will be working there from March July. I am also interning at a start-up company in the Glen Waverley area. Please by all means get in touch over the next couple of days. I am also open to sending the details of 'referees' (a mix of former landlords and housemates) your way too if you'd like. Other fun me facts: -I surf semi-regularly, so I like to think I keep up a pretty solid exercise regime -My favourite areas of study are philosophy, ethics and politics -I'm into TV/movies, old and new (but aren't we all…)
I am doing my master degree in Social Work in Monash this Feb. I am not fan of party and drugs. I'd love to help people as much as I can that's why i am taking Social Work master degree. I always keep stuffs clean and tidy and respect others' privacy. I will prepare my own food so i'd love to stay with someone who do not mind me cooking and I can cook for each other sometimes.
I am easy going, neat and tidy ,love to live people from different culture and background. I am doing my bachelor's in networking and software development at swin. I am vegan and cook 2-3 times a week, Most of the time I'll be outside at uni, work or at friend's.
Hey I'm Callum, 21. I enjoy playing music, animals, spontaneous rap battles, coffee and I have good puns. I also really love cleaning ;) I'm looking to move asap. Thanks
