I'm an easy-going third year Monash psychology student who loves sharing a meal and a drink or two with fellow flatmates. I do have a couple of well-received dishes which I love to cook for people. I'm also quite enthusiastic about movie nights. I come with a hard drive full of TV shows. What makes me a truly good flatmate is that I went to boarding school so I've been living communally for like 5 years now and am very considerate of other people's space and things. I'm also very good at cleaning and very much willing to do chores. I do come with a car and I am happy to use it in the name of food/ take-out. One of my requirements is that I prefer to be with people who aren't excessively loud on school nights. But I really would like to live in a social household.
Hey there! We are a couple (with a very sweet and friendly elderly cat) searching for a single, preferably large bedroom with relatively easy access to Monash + Deakin University. Tim is a Maths student at Monash who does theatre, is a video game enthusiast + a ripper musician while Tina is a qualified nurse that studies at Deakin, adores art, vegan/vegetarian cooking and adventures! We are both tidy, respectful and very easy going people with an excellent sense of humour. Message us if we sound like the right room mates for your house and we'll arrange for a time to meet you.
Helllllo, legends. My name is Nikki, a 23 year old from the burbs of Chicago. I plan on moving to Melbourne on August 24th. I'm pretty chilled and laid back. I love music, sports, movies, banter, staying active, grabbing a drink. I am respectful and responsible. Pretty tidy(ish)- I promise to keep common areas clean and keep the mess to my room. I like to think I get on with just about anyone! Love to be social, yet have no problem at all keeping to myself. Currently working as a therapy technician at a physical therapy clinic, but planning to work as a server while in aus. Let me know if you think we'd get on!
Hi, I'm Joel. I'm in my final semester of uni currently working part time as a civil engineer, but will be transitioning to full time in in a couple of weeks when the semester's over. I'm looking for a place fairly close to the city with easy access to the Monash Freeway and somewhere to park my car, ideally with people who keep a pretty normal schedule. I consider myself to be someone who is well mannered and relatively tidy, and I wouldn't say no to a glass of wine or a bit of a yarn after work. With that being said, I am definitely the kind of person who also needs a bit of alone time, usually with a book. In my spare time I enjoy going to gigs or just to the pub. Feel free to get in contact.
Hi, I'm Aidz, 30 y/o, from the Philippines! I'll be taking Masters in Design full-time at Monash (Caulfield) this coming July and I'll be arriving in Melbourne on June 26. I'm a photographer and a graphic designer so that makes me an artistic person, I'm very much into music as well, I play the guitar (but I'm not bringing one, unfortunately) and can sing decently, I like searching and listening to new indie artists/bands, but the majority on my playlist are very old school. I also love playing video games, NBA 2K or FIFA anyone?? I'm a bit of a geek and I quite know my way around techy stuff. I also love to cook so I can make some meals whenever I have time. I'm usually content being a homebody, but I sure love to go outside once in a while! So, show me around when I get there? Since it's my first time to live alone and in a different country, I'm not just looking for roommates but also (hopefully) lifelong friends that I can treat and also treat me as "family". My mom is an OC when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene and keeping things in their proper place, so somehow I picked that up from her, but don't worry, I'm not very imposing like her haha! I highly value my privacy and takes care very well of my possessions, so you can expect me to do the same for you. I drink, but not too much (those days are over haha!) I'm fun to be around and can get loud and crazy at times, but I intend to do very well on my studies so I can assure you that I'll be quiet most of the time. Anyway, if you think we get along very well, I'd really appreciate hearing from you!
We're tidy, we tend to keep to ourselves but also like a good chat with the housemates we live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both pretty easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). (We are looking for a large bedroom)
I'm a new kid on the block to Melbourne and will be looking to move into a place from the 16th July. I'm 33 and like a good balance in a flat - knowing when to be social/interactive and knowing when to enjoy having chill time. I'm clean and tidy and pretty relaxed. I like cooking, music, gardening, travel, camping - (outdoors in general!), the beach, animals and chilling out with a vino :)
Thoughtful. Aesthetically Driven. Authentic. Exceedingly Passionate. I'm a drummer and composer, a drag queen, a drag king, performance artiste, and fill of a desire to breach (whilst extending) typical social interactions through aural and kinetic collaboration, feasting, and initiating obscene happenings. Thus, I am in pursuit of actualising a 3-month move to Melbourne for the Spring. After living in a student cooperative of 40 during my final year of study (philosophy at Sydney Uni), and descended from a wild family of Greeks, I can advertise myself as a brilliant vegan (!) cook, sublime hostess, and overflowing with engaging conversation. As a queer woman, I like to run a tight ship - I'm a clean minimalist with classic taste. I do, however, very much enjoy homeliness and flourishes of meaningful detail. I require: - a space that I can set up and play instruments as loud and large as drums and synthesisers during the day, and can proudly bring women to during the night. - respectful and intelligent company, hopefully queer, at least culturally apt. - reasonable rent and bills and all that horror.
Originally from the UK, but have lived in Melbourne for 10 years. I work full-time in the city as a Marketing and Business Development Manager at a law firm. Pretty active with sports - running, badminton, swimming, gym, pilates, yoga and barre, which I usually do after work (or in the morning if I am awake early). I currently live on Chapel Street so I am keen to stay within the area. Brunching, hiking, reading and binge watching TV are also regularly on my agenda. Always up for a glass of wine. Also - clean and tidy because that's a thing.
Hi! I'm johanna, my partner Shaq and my 3 month son Matèo are looking at moving to Melbourne when our lease is up in sunny north qld! We're looking to move in with another couple or someone single who doesn't mind we have a well behaved bub! We're both bright bubbly people, who love socialising but also quiet family time. Hello! We're Ryan and Courtney, both 27. An explorer couple driving across the Nullarbor from Perth to live in Melbourne and further our careers. Looking for a place to call home. We are both chilled, respectful, adventurous, responsible, tidy and ambitious. We love to cook, have a quiet drink and we have over 18 boxes of puzzles and board games to contribute. Hours and hours of fun. We're making the trip across a road trip forecasted for ≈2.5 week. So we're hoping to secure a place around the 3rd week of May. If you think we're a potential match then let's talk. Cheers, Courtney and Ryan.
Hi, I'm Samantha from Malaysia and will be pursuing my studies in Monash University Caulfield campus starting this July. I'm rather a clean, tidy, quiet and considerate person. I respect personal space and am an easy going person. :)
I am a friendly, clean, and respectful person to live with. I am an English student who is over here on a work placement for 5 months. I will be working a lot but I want to make the most of my spare time by seeing the local attractions and enjoying the Melbourne lifestyle.
Hi I'm from New Zealand and have spent most of my time over the last few years living in Melbourne and am moving back again to Melbourne next month 😊 I work with horses full time so normally keep to myself during the week as I'm busy with work but enjoy socialising and having a bit of fun on my weekends off. Looking for a homely place preferably near Caulfield racecourse as I don't have my own transport just yet. Thank you!
I'm an pretty neat, quiet Australian guy studying engineering on-line. I have a degree in applied science (chem), and experience as an electronics tech, and with computers, and can be a bit handy around the house. I enjoy a glass of wine, a chat, video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I'm fine with pets. Quitting smoking, smoking outside in the mean time. - Sam
Hi I’m Joe! Alrighty, me as a person… I’m an outgoing guy that loves a laugh! Eat well, exercise lots, etc. Tend to party pretty hard on the weekends… however, tame during the week due a demanding job (I work full-time as a designer/strategist in a recycling company.) Absolutely love the job, and live and breathe design & strategy! In a sharehouse, I’m looking for something social with a positive vibe. As a flatmate, I’m more on the tidy side, respectful of others, and easy to negotiate with. Honestly, if you’re just looking for someone with a bit of colour, and who knows how to create a great atmosphere in a house, get in contact! Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a considerate, moderate guy looking to share with 2 or 3 mature, moderate, and considerate people (approximately over 38 years of age). I prefer not to live with sports enthusiasts, TV sports watchers or reality TV followers (sorry but that's just not me). If there is a TV (I can live without one) I do enjoy science, nature or social-science type docos. Quiet at night when trying to sleep is important to me. I'd like to live with people who need and value that as well :) I'm civilised and have no antisocial or illegal habits. I'm clean and quiet living yet reasonably social (though not really into big or loud group situations generally). My background is telecommunications technical support but I'm currently doing warehouse/delivery type work. I enjoy art house movies, support most "progressive" things though I'm not an eco-zealot or "lefty" per se (though I'm not "right wing" either) . Prefer not to live with persons working from home (not enough personal space balance for me). I like a balance between personal space and company.
I'm currently a full-time student at Monash university, working around the area. I'm originally from Sydney, lived in Singapore for most of my life, moved to melbourne at the end on 2014.
I am Michael Benjamin from India i am 25 years old i am looking for a accommodation where i can enjoy and have my privacy i am easy going and fun to live with will respect others privacy i like going out spending time with friends and love to be at home watch movies and go out for dinner with room mates.i am looking for a long term stay if you guys think i can fit in please do let me know thanks.
I am a Lawyer. Recently moved to Melbourne! I am very friendly, positive and understanding! I respect other's space and like to be treated in the same way! I am a great cook . I love to dance and paint when I get time from my busy schedule! I am a single mother of a 5 years old girl.
My name is Lisa and I am currently looking for an all female flat as I wish to move from the Gold Coast to Melbourne in November/December this year. I am a very responsible, well mannered, respectful and clean individual and punctual with bills and rent. I am not a party person and plan to study fulltime at uni as well as work. I love animals and meeting new people who I can be social with. I am a bubbly, hard working person and would love to flat with people who are like minded!! *I have been renting and living out of home for over a year and have references
I am Nishant and I will be attending Monash University soon. Looking for a roommate to share a room with near the University. I am from India and I like to play poker for fun. I am great because I am your go to guy for any help, advice etc.
Hi, I'm Astrid, a 31-year old neuroscientist. I worked as a research fellow at Monash University until January and have been traveling around Southeast Asia since then. However, I will come back to Australia at the end of May and I am looking for a room in a nice flatshare near Melbourne (no location preference atm). I am currently preparing for a career move, i.e. I'm preparing applications while studying on the side. I also spend as much time as possible in the gym so you don't have to worry about me being at home all day. I'm a reliable, quiet and clean flatmate. At this point I can't tell for sure how long I will be staying (4+ weeks) so I'm looking for someone who is flexible in this regard. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers
