Thank you for taking the time. Please read the whole thing as I may say something of interest to you. Please see section titled 'flexibility'. I am very friendly, responsible, and keep things clean. I work as a researcher at Monash. I also work as a Designer. -------------------- Interests -------------------- Tennis, Golf, News, and Gym. -------------------- Nationality: Australian -------------------- -------------------- My schedule -------------------- I will usually leave by 8 AM, and come back to sleep after 8-9PM. I don't have much of a footprint. -------------------- Requirements for stay -------------------- 1. Very quiet 10 PM on wards - I need to sleep 2. Internet (Decent) 3. Clean and doesn't smell bad ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My proposal ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Period of stay -------------------- I am on a flexible contract, which means that I may stay: 2 weeks (0.5 month) > UP TO > 12 weeks (3 months) - at this stage. It could be even longer if I get another contract. -------------------- Notice -------------------- I am given 3 days notice by Monash. I will try my best to give you up to 3-7 days notice. -------------------- Flexibility -------------------- In order to accommodate you, I am willing to accept 3-7 day notice. This will give you tremendous flexibility - to have someone rent your room so you can earn income from it as long as they are there, whilst you may seek someone for longer term should you desire it. When you find them, simply give me notice. -------------------- Budget -------------------- My budget is up to $175 per week incl. all. It depends on location, property condition, facilities, convenience to transport (train / tram / bus), people etc. -------------------- Payment -------------------- I will pay upfront each week to designated bank account. -------------------- Bond -------------------- I cannot pay bond for good reasons. Firstly, the risk of rent non-payment (as I will pay in advance) or damage does not exist. I will pay for it should the need arise or am obligated. My experience with landlords who take bond has been full of delays and issues. I am willing to sign a written agreement for mutual understanding and listing of any obligations. If it is still an issue even though it shouldn't be, then we can exchange IDs. -------------------- Move-in date -------------------- I can move in today/tommorow. I arrive in Melbourne today.
Hi, im Daniel :). Im 27 years old and work as a business development manager between 9am -5.30pm Monday to friday. Im looking to move in with some fun cool cats who wouldnt mind having a cheeky drink during the week and maybe a cheeky boogy on the weekend. I am very tidy and respectful of privacy. I am charismatic, extraverted and love meeting new people. I like Footy, Tv, Bars, Drinking, Travelling, Chilling and Funsies. I hope you like the sound of me and tell me cool stories and be friends.
Hi all! I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm moving down to Melbourne from the Central Coast in NSW. I have a full time job on Chapel St so anywhere close to that would be absolutely dandy. I'm 23, quiet, honest, independent and clean. I respect privacy and value my own. I have always paid rent on time and have references if they are required. I can be a bit of a hermit at times but l love a good chat over dinner or just whenever. When I'm not working I'll be watching movies or reading. I love dinner, cats, and quoting the Simpsons.
I am a curious individual open to all cultures and people :) Coming from Singapore, I have great exposure to all cultures and ways of life. I am currently undertaking my Practical Legal Training to become a qualified lawyer. Hobbies include breakdancing, BJJ, powerlifting and listening to great music :) I also have a small food business that I run on the side so that means you get to taste all the new creations I come up with! Super respectful and good track record, don't drink/smoke/party but I'm chilled if you do.
Well where do i start. I can cook a great meal. I know alot of people say that but i have worked in kitchens in Canada. I'm respectful of people's space and privacy. Im a believer in having the house neat and tidy and smelling nice. I predominantly work as a personal trainer and crossfit coach. How ever when i move to Melbourne this may change for a short period until i find my feet so to speak. I've never been kicked out or been late on bills in other previous house sharing. My current housemates love me and are sad that i'm leaving them for Melbourne. You'd be very lucky to have me live with you
Hello, I am a 35 year old female looking for a house for 6 months. I just completed uni and my new job as an Audiologist starts in Melbourne for 6 months before I move back to Sydney. I'd be working pretty 9-5 hours with some weekends. I am a clean, quiet and respectful housemate, happy to give roommates space, but also up for a chat, share some dinners if the timing works, or to head to the pub for a drink. I'm originally from Canada, but I've been living in Australia for 7 years now. I love to travel, animals, and cooking and/or eating delicious varieties of food. I have a dog named Lola, she is a 4 year old Shetland Sheepdog (basically a mini Lassie). She is a clean, well trained, and I bring her for walks 2-3 times a day. Happy to answer any question about her or myself, just send me a message :)
I work away a lot so often it's like I'm not even there. I'm pretty easy going and up for a chat but I'll stay out of your hair. With food I'm happy with cooking my own or we can share!
Heyoo! Previously living in Goldy yet relocating to Melbourne and now studying aviation at Moorabbin Airport. I'm quiet at times and do respect the need of others private space and time. I'm looking for a furnished room ASAP near the city or wherever I listed below. Look forward to making new swag friends/roommates! Cheers
Hi my name is Adi. I'm from New Zealand, I moved to Melbourne for work. I'm a civil Engineer. I love my sport (cricket, rugby, league, NBA, NFL Tennis etc.). Pretty relaxed and tidy flatmate. I've been flatting for the past 8 years so I know how to get along with new people
Hi! My name's Khadija and I'm currently a Masters student at Monash. I'm looking for a private room in a share house/studio apartment that's in or around Melbourne City. I'm a quiet, clean and considerate person and would expect a similar housemate in return. I would also like to have a housemate that I can chat with and occasionally hang out with. I understand the need for privacy and will not infringe on your space. Also, If you know of any available studios/1 bedroom apartments, please do let me know.
Hey guys! I'm an accountant (not the boring nerdy type) working in Malvern. Want to live closer to work for now. Won't do your tax returns but I'm happy to do house chores. I like my me time, but I'm also up for a chat. So I will definitely respect your space. After a room (furnished or unfurnished), even better if your property comes with a cat/dog - my family runs an animal rescue, I'm an animal person.
Hi, I am Adrien, 25. I am french IT engineer and moved in Australia a bit more than 2 years ago, on my way to get my residency here ! I love music, fitness, photography, traveling and food ! I am really social and enjoy a good chat here and there, tidy, I enjoy socializing after work over some food or a drink but I also like to have my own space. I am really easy going and always up to try new things !
I'm Andrew, 26 years old and I'm originally from Brissy. I'd describe myself as a social outgoing person who enjoys others company. I spend most of my time at work through the week(Monday - Friday, 8 - 5:30) and try and get out and about as much as possible on weekends. I enjoy surfing, a good breakfast, the outdoors, Sir David Attenborough and drinks with good company.
Hi I'm Jasmin, I work full time as a medical secretary (9-5 Mon - Fri) and looking preferably to team up with another female to find a place to rent relatively close to the city. I have lived in Melbourne my whole life and lived alone for the past year. I orginally lived with a friend who had to move interstate so I'm very well accustomed to the responsibility of keeping on top of bills. I do have furniture for a two bedroom apartment so I can provide all furniture needed. I do occasionally go out on the weekend but prefer to have a quiet night in during the week. If you are interested in teaming up with me, feel free to message me.
Recently moved from Adelaide. Working in traffic control and also going to be studying from July. Friendly, neat and tidy. Enjoy meeting new people and socialising also just binge watching tv shows and eating food. Need to move by middle of march, looking for something 6 months +, longer the better :-)
I love getting to know my housemates and living in a social house, while I also like my alone time. At home, I like watching netflix, cooking, reading and socialising. I'm 24, work full-time in marketing near Monash Uni and love playing team sports in my spare time and going to the gym. I also love beach days and weekend adventures and I'm a bit of a foodie! As far as being a housemate goes, I'm clean and considerate, and chip in my fare share for the house. I have some furniture I can contribute, however if not needed I can put in storage. I'm moving from the other side of the city for my new job and sadly my housemate/friend is off to the US. Ideally I'd like to live with a two other young professionals and not in a party house, although I do enjoy a cheeky wine now and then. Interested in setting up a new house too - send me a message!
Hi, I'm Joel. I'm in my final semester of uni currently working part time as a civil engineer, but will be transitioning to full time in a couple of months. I'm looking for a place fairly close to the city with easy access to the Monash Freeway and somewhere to park my car, ideally with people who keep a pretty normal schedule. I consider myself to be someone who is well mannered and relatively tidy, and I wouldn't say no to a glass of wine or a bit of a yarn after work. With that being said, I am definitely the kind of person who also needs a bit of alone time, usually with a book. In my spare time I enjoy going to gigs or just to the pub. Feel free to get in contact.
Super easy going, great music taste (if I can say so myself), likes a good doco, likes a good wine, can't surf (despite my picture), respectful of others & can help you with your tax. I work full time as an accountant (hence the tax offer) and am looking for a new place closer to work.

Hi there, my name’s Angie. I'm 25, working full time, and looking to move closer to work. I’m a high school teacher, so I promise we'll never run out of stationery (I hope you like stickers!). I'm very sociable, but also value my personal space and time, and ideally, I’d like to live with someone who feels the same, but would be up for the occasional coffee or Netflix binge with wine. I am a self confessed nerd, and love movies, books and games, I come with a PlayStation, and maybe a few board games. I am not opposed to pets and especially love cats. I'm a non-smoker, and I train at a gym about 5 times a week. Please feel free to message me if you think we’d get along!
I am Masters student, respectful and honest. I would like to find a place that I feel like my home. I am very busy during the week between job and University. I am not a party animal but I like to share with my flatmates now and then a glass of wine.
Hello, my name is Tushti and I have just relocated from Mauritius (Home country), briefly to Perth and now back in Melbourne where I have lived for 9 years already. I am a Permanent Resident of Australia and worked as Marketing and PR Manager in Mauritius where I also founded my own jewellery business. I am a single, straight female and I have my professional network already established and actually looking for a full time role in Melbourne. However, i have savings from my online business and personal funds still active and always pay rent and bond on time. I am friendly, outgoing but also enjoy my space. I am looking for a place which is very clean and tidy (i do wish to emphasize on that ;)), with social housemates and positive vibes. I do yoga, love to draw and paint and love my Melbourne coffees. I do smoke but always outside with respect to others and also trying my best to quit. I love helping out around the house and joining in to keep the place clean and looking for housemates who are on the same wavelength. :)

I have recently moved to Melbourne to work full-time at Monash University as a research fellow. When I am not working, I am probably outdoors climbing, hiking or biking.
Who am I? (I ask this question everyday and never get the same answer) I'm studying acting at The National Theatre Drama School I work for a company called Man With a Van. I'm a very sociable person i guess, well i like talking to all types of people and learning what i can from them. At the same time i do love my me time. I like to get out and be active pretty regularly whether it be playing sport, going to gigs or doofs, trying out some material (stand up comedy). Been in Melbourne last 3 years (originally from Sydney/Canberra) living mainly near the SE Suburbs (Malvern & Chadstone). Looking relocate somewhere in the near vicinity of work in Oakleigh South. I am a respectful, private, responsible, independent person who works 45+ hrs a week as a courier. I start late and finish late and am pretty low-key in my home life and would like to find person(s) with a similar lifestyle. I dedicate free time to my hobbies which are working-out, exercising, home-brewing and latin-dancing. I enjoy motorcycle riding and craft beer and have lived overseas for the greater part of my life so I appreciate worldly topics and international affairs. I can speak Spanish. Having said that I love Melbourne and exploring it's entertainment/coffee/food culture when I'm not home cooking my meals. I would like to see some more regional Victoria sometime as well. I haven't owned a TV in years but like cinema/movies and playing the occasional computer game.
Hey guys, im pan, currently graduated from monash uni with my master of multimedia design. So i`m doing job hunting at the moment, and working at two different places as part time job. I`m easy going and open, always love to have a talk with people. Neat, but not fuzzy.
I'm clean and tidy and have been staying in shared house for few years by now. Enjoy cooking, drinking with friends, outdoor sports, reading and watching some movie. Hit me up if i sound like your kind of housemate!
I'm a 26yr old Aussie student in architecture, with a part time job in a firm. I hope to stay in a place for a couple of years. I love my hiking, film and music. Clean and tidy around the kitchen and up for a chat and laughs. I'm respectful of other's privacy and I'll be spending a lot of time working on my studies anyway. I've lived in a sharehouse previously for a couple of years and had a few tenants come through. All of whom I'm still friends with today. It's the best way to meet new people. The ideal room will be a mid-large size as I need to fit not only my bedding and what not, but a large desk with computer, printer, stationary and materials.
I'm pretty easy going, ill be around when im not studying or working, otherwise im pretty quiet and like to keep to myself, but will engage in conversation when im in the mood.

My lease is up in just over a week so looking to move into a friendly, social house share (that isn't a party house still) but want to meet new people and enjoy the last length of my Australian working holiday visa. Ive been travelling for the last 3 years so i understand and respect the fact people like their own privacy and space but want to be able to at least catch up over a beer or 3 at some point. I have a lot of friends here so i will be out at weekends enjoying the last of the summer rays - until winter comes and i hibernate in my room smashing out a new box set of some sort. I'll be in Europe in January/February and am looking for a place for when I get back to Melbourne at the end of February. I've spent nearly 2 years out of home so I know how to survive by myself. I love going out and being social but I also like to have some quiet time occasionally. I'm studying Commerce/Journalism at Monash and work part-time so I lead a pretty busy life but I still need people to be able to relax and destress with. I'm clean, organised and will always pay my bills on time. I'd love to find a great bunch of people to live with so get in touch.

My name is Bel. I'm 23 years old and work in hospitality full time. The restaurant I work at is situated in Windsor and is a groovy Vietnamese fusion place. I enjoy a good giggle, I love to be social and I can be super spontaneous. At the same time I also enjoy alone time. I have a super rad collection of tea and am obsessed with tiki bars and summer fruits. I have a beautiful, fat cat named Russia who loves cuddles and affection. I'm originally from Tasmania but love it here so much that I've been living in Melbourne for 5 years. I'm a clean person especially in common areas, and love to buy flowers for the house every once in a while.
I work in the travel industry and travel is a love of mine. I like keeping fit, watching movies and TV series, dinner and drinks with friends. I am a social person but I also enjoy my down time. Love dogs just don't have one coming with me. I'm easy going, clean and respectable with a good sense of humour. Cannot click with my left hand. Crunchy peanut butter is way better than smooth peanut putter.
Hello! Im a bright, bubbly 23 year old looking for a new share house to move to! I'm a tidy, considerate housemate who is quiet mid-week around my full time work hours. I've lived by myself for 6months and in a share house for 10months (most recently) and I'm looking to move to pursue a career promotion to somewhere close enough to Southland Shopping centre - bus or train access (i don't drive at the moment). I come with a fully kitted out bedroom so un-furnished would be preferable! I could store some of the furniture but at a minimum would prefer my own bed... I also work for a candle and homewares company so the house will smell amazing! I cook, clean regularly and take pride in my home so I'd love to do some decorating! About me: Im definitely keen on the Netflix binge... probably a bit too much! I spend all day talking to people so some mind-numbing tv is definitely nice/needed! I read a lot - try to go to a park and read to get some vitamin D when i can. I love going to the movies (mostly for cinema popcorn) and out for brunch. I have a lot of friends in the Carnegie/Malvern area so I like to go out and about, catch up with people and have dinner out on my weekends off. I always loved cooking but i have been enjoying it even more since i moved out - i do enjoy trying new recipes and putting on some music, dancing around the kitchen while i cook! I visit my family a lot because i have 2 baby bros under the age of 5 and i stay with my nans once every 2-3weeks to keep her company. Plus my mum lives in Country Victoria, about 3hrs out of Melbourne, so if i get a long weekend off, I'm usually up visiting her! I also study Human Rights with my Arts degree so between full time work and study I'm pretty busy!! I usually work from 8:30am - 6pm with one day off mid week, and then every second weekend so I'm a hermit mid-week and on my working weekend but i don't mind a casual wine or two after work to wind down with dinner and a movie. Please get in touch if you think i would be a good fit! Hope to hear from you soon :)
I have references available if required. My name is Manuel, I'm 29 years old. I'm a full-time student studying at a local university.
