Hi there! My name is Stephanie and I'll be in Melbourne as part of my PhD from September 23rd to to December 21st. I'll be working at the university on weekdays and explore the city and surroundings on the weekends. I've lived in shared flats in the Netherlands and Germany for years and mainly enjoyed the experience. As did my roommates :) I like to cook, I share my food and I clean after myself. Also I have respect for others' need for space and sleep. It would be great to live with people that want to hang out a little (cooking/eating/drinking together) but I am also fine if you wanna do your own thing as long as we manage to keep a nice atmosphere and decently tidy communal areas. I Would be happy to hear from you!
Hi, I am Adrien, 26. I am IT engineer. I love music, fitness, photography, traveling and food ! I am really social and enjoy a good chat here and there, tidy, I enjoy socializing after work over some food or a drink but I also like to have my own space. I am really easy going and always up to try new things !
I am an italian guy looking for a room to rent in the CBD. I'm a bartender and i have just arrived in Melbourne. I'm very friendly, clean and tidy with the passion for the very well cooked food and white wine. So if u are looking a for nice, friendly flatmate, call me!
I am Kim from Berlin, Germany and I am a stage and costume designer. I am a clean and respectful roomie, who loves to hang out with you but I am also very independent. I am definitely looking for a place with nice flatmates who like to hang and chat, as I am new to the world down under. I am planning on travelling the continent as well, so for now I might just need a room for 2-4 months. a flexible(-ish) lease would be perfect for me.
A little about me, I moved over from Perth in January and am just working in hospitality while i work out what to do with life. All my current housemates are moving in with their partners so here i am! In need of some new buddies~ Preferably looking for a house with only one or two others. I clean up after myself and generally keep to myself but Id love to make friends with my housemates and watch some quality Netflix junk I occasionally have friends from perth visit, so i hope that won't be a problem Shoot us a message as Im in need of a place within two weeks! preferably long term as i don't want to have to move again!
Hello! I have just moved to Melbourne having been on the West Coast of Australia for the past nine months or so. I am looking to stay here and enjoy city life for at least four months so would be requiring accommodation for a mid-long term stay. I'm a considerate, bubbly and respectful 24-year old English female who is both clean and tidy. I have previously shared houses in Newcastle and London so know and respect the type of etiquette that should be held by all sharers. Although I'm a back packer and currently living out of bag, I'm craving a bit of normality and a non-bunk bed type of bed! Especially as I am looking to work full time. I love to cook and I am experimenting with baking so would be more than happy to make you some bits and pieces during my stay. I really need to doing some more excercise, motivators welcome. I like to explore local coffee shops. And I love the odd G&T. I would be looking to move in on/around the 24th September. I look forward to hearing from you.
I have recently been asked to work in Melbourne starting in 2 weeks so here i am trying to secure a home in Melbourne promptly. Once again I set deadlines for myself that are tight and i may have told my new boss that I can change departments on the 2/10. I calculated the maths in my head, the same mind that told me to start on the 2/10 and came to the conclusion that once again I may have overestimated my abilities. I have decided I need to utilise some of the skills I have written I possess in my resume to get me through this predicament I have put myself in. Using effective communication, creative thinking and taking initiative to get the desired result i hope to secure a property before the deadline. When all else fails I will employ desparation. A characteristic not mentioned in my resume, however it is attribute that is evident in interviews. If someone could offer me a room that would be great as I have a lot of clothes to pack and some hard decisions ahead of me In relation to culling some of these once loved items. I am a full time working, aspiring to something different every month 26 year old gal. I am like most of the descriptions on here, neat, friendly and looking for those qualities in prospective housemates. For fun? friends, eating, sleeping, dancing, eating, movies, music, eating, becoming obsessed with a musical instrument for a week, googling how long it takes to become a master at said instrument and giving up before i even begin. So you know, the usual stuff. My main selling point would be that i come with Frankie the Border Collie cross Lab puppy, she turned 1 a few months ago and is keen... I would love to write that she speaks 4 languages, packs the dishwasher and makes tea for you in the morning however she isn't quite there yet... She's used to living inside and cuddling to any willing participant. I am obsessed with her, she is obsessed with anyone who will give her attention. ** of note the speediness of me having to move to Melbourne i understand i may not find a house that can accommodate my pup and i. So she has alternative accommodation (with my mother who she loves more than i) if i find myself in a position where she can't move. DISCLAIMER: you can't tell from the photo however I do have a below knee amputation, why? Cancer. Why are you still on crutches? Still have cancer (although it is stable). Why are you writing this? To avoid awkward meetings. Any questions, i would be happy to answer.
I am a very easy going individual, not ever worried about too much. I work full time and also have a couple of other side projects that I'm involved with. I train most of nights of the week, eat only as much as I need to, read, play guitar here and there and most importantly, regularly laugh at my own jokes. My partying days are mostly at an end. In saying that when the time calls for it I can definitely have a drink if need be.
Respectful, friendly, non-smoker, hardly drink, work full-time and tidy around the house. I enjoy living in a clean home but occasionally have my relaxed days. I don't usually have friends over as I prefer socialising outside and keeping home as a place to relax and escape from all the noise and social demands. I have a king size bed and hope to find a big enough space for it and also someone who is similar so that we can co-exist in a happy and peaceful environment. If you'd like to know more, just send me a message.. 😄
Hey there! I'm traveling from the US and am looking to live, work in, and explore Melbourne. I'm a down to earth, laid back, kind, and respectful person. I can get along with anyone and would love to be able to create lasting friendships with my future flatmate/s! But, alternatively if you're a private person and prefer a quiet atmosphere I can definitely respect that. I'm responsible and clean up after myself. Some of the activities I enjoy are hiking (anything outdoors really), photography, shows, and finding new and exciting places to eat. I would prefer somewhere close to the city or near public transit that's a quick ride into the city! Since I will be traveling on a working holiday, a furnished room is preferred as well. Thanks for taking a look and message me if I seem like a suitable fit for your flat!
Canadian living in Melbourne. Clean and considerate, likes to socialize, particularily over a bottle of wine (or two) after a long day. Working professional in the arch. and design industry, looking forward to getting out and seeing the city.
Hey! I'm Charlotte. I am from Germany and on a WHV in Australia. I'm looking for a fully furnished place to share with friendly, chilled people. Preferably I would like to move in end of September. So a bit about me. I am a friendly, considerate, open-minded and clean person. In my spare time I love cooking, so I would love to cook with my housemates or just hang out now and again. Also, I love travelling and enjoy meeting people from other countries. On weekends I enjoy hanging out with friends. On week nights I like considering going for a run, going to the gym or practicing some yoga. Lately, I've started to learn surfing, which I am very keen to improve. I also enjoy a good balance of quiet time/privacy too. If you think I might be a good fit for your place, contact me! :-) Would stretch budget a bit for right place. Looking forward to hearing from you guys!
33yr old Professional. ( Horologist ) Moving to Melbourne in late October for a new job and starting all over again. I'm pretty neat and tidy, Great sense of humor ,value mine and others privacy, love to cook, social but like to do my own thing from time to time, got to the gym a few times a week, home is my place to unwind and relax after work so don't mind a social drink every now and then, would be great to have housemates that could become friends and show me all the great local spots. Ideally i'd like to be a half an hour from the CBD via tram, train or bus. I love Melbourne but not too familiar with suburbs i may have overlooked so let me know! I Love the outdoors so any excuse to get away for a spot of fishing and I'm all in! Recently got my firearms license so do a bit of sport shooting too Love animals so if you have a social dog or cat i don't mind at all :) Just got myself a new car so undercover or off street parking would be great!
Student doctor from Kuwait, with a penchant for photography. I like tidy spaces. some of the things that I like include walks around the city, the beach, history, furry animals, travel, the movies, a glass of red and extended lunches. I am easy going and always up for a weekend night out :)
Working permenantly nights in hospitality seeking a day time working housemate preferably - as I do enjoy a fair amount of me time and creative space (working on my music career) and being quite independent - although I'd still love to live with someone I can connect with and have a chat and comfortable vibes with when we do see eachother. Need a furnished room and hoping for inner city area.
Working IT professional, served top of the list companies in Melbourne for almost a decade. Want to move closer to the city and save time in commuting. I respect all the religions and proud to be a part of the race called "Human"!! Like my space in my lows, love friends and drinks to enjoy and celebrate together. Looking for an immediate accommodation with Sauna, gym and pool preferable in and around the city. If you think you share the same qualities and can respect values, please give me a call to join.
A trio (2 kiwis and a frenchie) of very tidy, respectful and quiet tennants looking for a place to call home. Punctual with bills and rent we are currently holidaying in Europe and are looking for a nice abode to settle in when we return! Looking for whole apartments if possible to cherish and make homely 😊
I'm a responsible guy, really easy-going, respectful of other people's space and expecting the same in return. Of course we can have talks and share some meals and experiences. I love listening to music (different genres), I play a little bit guitar and recently I bought an ukulele to try something new 😉. I like movies (from Hollywood mainly, so I make references to Oscars nominees or winners every time I can), I love football (soccer), play basketball (at least I try to) and recently I bought a bike so I hope to use it a lot. Also I'm taking my first steps into photography. I'd like to share and learn about all these topics in Melbourne, and of course if you want to learn some words in Spanish I can teach you 'mi amigo'. I'm gonna stay in Melbourne for at least one more year and I'm interested in finding a private room, so let me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers!!
