I am generally a quiet philosophical type of person. I spend most of my time in front of my computer. I mostly enjoy classical music, computer games, Sci-Fi and like cats. I am a software engineer by profession, and am currently enjoying Melbourne while looking for a job. I like peace and quiet, and am not a "party animal". I am neat, hygienic, and do not drink large amounts of alcohol or smoke. I am from South Africa. NB: I am looking for a place where I can stay for 2 weeks to 2 months. I need to move in by the 30th January.
I'm moving to melbourne for uni, doing a masters of translation. I'm friendly, tidy, easy going. Looking for a place with a secured backyard for my super friendly jack russel, Gary. I like to play netball, frisbee, and to occasionally bake. I enjoy my own company but also happy to socialise.
Im pretty easy going and down to earth, very work and study orientated and am pretty mature for my age. I come from New Zealand and moved out of home when I moved here just after I turned 16 and have been flatting/boarding ever since. I know I'm a bit young but I'm desperately in need for a new place to live in as I have to move out of the current house I'm in by March/April. Im also transgender just thought I'd put that out there because I know some people may have a problem with that. I'm very tidy and clean and am very good at cooking (perks of growing up with a chef for a step mum). I'm also about to study exercise and sports science full time at uni and I work part time at grilld (usually nights). My hobbies include going to the beach, bike riding, fishing, anything water related, writing, playing guitar and dance. I also like having my own space but can also be very social and im alway down to chat and chill out. I also turn 18 in may if that helps.

Hello! :) My name is Avleen and I'm a 29 year-old female originally from Sydney. I'll be studying at Monash this year and am looking for an affordable place to rent in Melbourne. Ideally I'd like to be close to Clayton but am flexible as long as it's roughly within my price range. I'm friendly, easygoing and clean. I love having a good chat now and then over a tea or beer, and also enjoy time to myself. Thanks in advance and hoping to find somewhere great on here :) xo
Hey Team, I'm living the search to find a place to call home, recently coming back to Melbourne from working out on the big white Mountain of Mt Hotham. I'm 20 years old. Currently training to be Bar manager in St Kilda, love humans and creating good Memories. I also enjoy down time, I feel we all need a little rest time to time. I have a car so location location is not an issue, very relaxed individual, trained to be tidy (on ya Mum) If I branch out to you or you somehow stumble across my profile, don't be shy to say Hi, I'm from WA so we believe everyone's our mate. Literally. If you made it this far down, Thank you for reading. Dan
Hi! I'm Ashleigh, I'm from England and currently on a working holiday visa. I'm in Tassie at the moment finishing farm work and will be arriving back in Melbourne around the 5th of February and will be looking to move in pretty much straight away. I'm looking for a place either until the 18th of March (as I'm off travelling for a month) or longer term as I plan to come back and stick around in Melbourne for a while after my travels! I'm looking for a private room in a place with friendly housemates. I'm pretty quiet at home and like my own space but also like to spend some time watching tv or eating together. I've been living in a hostel for the past 3 months so I'm used to sharing and tidying up after myself. I'm looking for somewhere close to public transport (preferably a train station) and ideally with some shops and cafes nearby or within easy reach. A yoga studio close by would also be perfect!
Looking for a peaceful place conducive to kindness/friendliness and meditation.

Hello good peeps, I am a laid back accounting/business management professional of 31years. I am local to the SE suburbs and am looking for somewhere to replace my previous awesome abode in Caulfield North. I work 9-5, like things relatively tidy and am happy to work into a whatever chores schedule is the go. Interests include economics/politics/business (boring eyy?) and also keeping fit, coffee, getting out for a few drinks on the we and a couple crappy TV shows. All up, I am looking for somewhere easy going and friendly where I can basically mostly do my thing but also have some social atmosphere at home. Cheers big ears
Hello potential future flat-mate[s], my name's Aavon, initially from Sri Lanka and I moved to Australia a little over three months ago. Prior to that I've spent the past five years in Dubai working for the Volvo Car Company. I'm now a qualified technician and operations coordinator working in Glen Huntley. My cousins have accommodated me so far but I'm looking for the right place and people to start anew. I enjoy the outdoors, travelling, animals, rock climbing, music, impromptu dancing, reading and living in the moment. I'm neat, can cook, looking to make friends and am looking forward to something new. Cheers!
Hi! I am Akashneel Maiti, a full time international student from India, joining Monash University Caulfield campus for Master of Networks and Security in February. I am 23 years old and prefer people of the same age group. I think of myself as a calm and sociable person who respects others' private space. I do occasionally enjoy drinks and bbq in weekends. My budget is around 180$ pw and my length of stay is flexible. I am also open up to the idea of grouping up with some nice people and renting a whole apartment. I will be reaching Melbourne on 9th feb, so will like a place available from around this date. Thanks :)
Hey! I'm Harley. I'm a 25 year old Male currently living in South Yarra. I moved over here around 3 years ago and at that stage wanted to live near the city. Now I've been hereading a bit I'm wanting to move out further. I work full time and am a very respectful person. I'm clean and tidy without being OCD and dont throw parties. But in saying that I don't mind a couple beers now and then. I am looking for a stable house hold because I genuinely hate moving and everything that comes with it. thanks
Hi! I'm moving from India to Australia next month to study Psychology in Monash University. I'm outgoing, loud and super friendly. I'd also like to think of myself as clean and independent. Moving to another country is a huge change but I'm very excited to meet new people to live and learn with. I'm really respectful of others' privacy and I do appreciate my peace and quiet. My hobbies include reading, running and binge watching tv shows. If i sound like the kind of housemate you're looking for then feel free to contact me. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have. Thanks x
I'm an easy-going Indian guy looking for comfortable and cozy accommodation and tidy and enjoyable people. I'll be doing my post graduation from Monash University and probably will be working part time. Respect people's privacy and expect the same in return. I will be arriving in Melbourne by 10th February 2017. I am looking for a furnished room, please PM me if you have a spare room available or are looking to share with someone, Thanks!! :)
I'd like to move into a period home with charm and space and a back yard. Ideally I'd like to team up and find a 4brm home with 2 bathrooms - one for you and one for us. We are a non footy, non commercial tv and radio, lefty/green, atheist household, looking for same. I'm an easy going person. I love to cook. I like my own company but enjoy sharing meals, wine, and a movie. My kids are with me week on / week off and I work full time. When the kids are with their dad I often spend weekends with my partner at his home in north Central Victoria. My son is 14, loves drawing Manga, reading fantasy fiction and playing video games. My daughter is 11, plays acoustic guitar, sings, and is into science, writing and pandas. My partner, Bruce, tends to visit every other weekend with his gorgeous friendly and clever dog. He works full time in horticulture and supports his dad on the farm. I have furniture for a full house, including a relatively new fridge and excellent washing machine. I sing, kayak, and hope to set up my 3m above ground pool to share in my new home. It isn't huge but it is refreshing.
Hi everyone! I'm Vin. I'll be doing my masters degree in Monash uni this February and now I'm looking for a place to call home around Caulfield. I'm actually planning to fly to Melbourne around the 30th of January or 6th of February. Or sometime in between. I'm a non smoker woman, very social. I have a very fond interest for anything travel, automotive, fashion and cats. I enjoy reading books, watching movies, or a nice walk/jog in a park ooor just a good conversation about even the most mundane things lol. I'm pretty cool with almost everything haha. I'm a chill person in general soo I'm pretty sure it'll be fun to spend time with me.
I'm Tom, I'm an international student at Monash and I work part time at Woolworths. I have lived with family for 3 years in Australia but I wish to stay on while they have/are moving back to Ireland. Even though I'm not Australian I'm very settled here and I want to live with some Aussies because I get on very well with you people. I'm very clean and organised, I keep to myself mostly but I'm still very easy going and friendly. I am hard working when it comes to uni so I will probably be spending a lot of time studying and in my down time I'll probably be with my girlfriend or my friends - I don't really like hosting parties and I don't intend on bringing a lot of people over. I drink a lot of tea and coffee so I will regularly offer to make you a hot drink. My ideal place would be one with a big back garden because I have a BBQ and an outdoor table in my current place that I'd like to take with me. I'd also prefer an unfurnished room because I have a lot of furniture to bring including a bed, desk, bedside table and drawers. I don't really have an ideal flatmate, as I said I'm very easy going so whether you're the type to keep to yourself or if you want a friend I think I'd be a good addition to your place. My hobbies include soccer, futsal, photography, going to the beach and travelling, but mostly I just chill with my friends or sit around reading books and playing video games.
I am 26 years old, originally from Adelaide, but I was living in Melbourne for several years, up until the start of 2016, at which point I spent 10 months travelling around South East Asia and India. I am currently back living in Adelaide, but moving to Melbourne once again, to commence professional, full-time work in my field of product design. I enjoy music; listening to it as well as playing a range of instruments (mostly guitar – but don’t worry, I am very considerate of noise levels in a share house!) and I regularly go out to see live bands. My other passion (and profession) is design and I often attend the many design/art related events, openings and exhibitions that Melbourne constantly has to offer. Other than that, I love all things food and coffee related and will usually jump at any chance to try out a new café or restaurant (or bar! although in that case, “food and coffee” will be substituted for “beer and/or wine”). I’m quite partial to getting out in that rare and elusive bit of Melbourne sun, for a walk or bike ride on the weekends and when I’m at home, I enjoy a good movie, documentary or Netflix/tv show binge. As a housemate, I am very easy to live with. I will be working full-time hours, so I will generally only be home in the evenings and weekends, I am neat and tidy, sociable but also considerate of other peoples’ space and belongings (you won’t even have to label your food in the fridge!), happy to do my bit when it comes to housekeeping and always pay rent and any bills on time. I have an extensive history of living in share houses, both in Adelaide and Melbourne and I can provide references from a previous private rental agency or past housemate/landlord if required. If you think I could be your future housemate, I would ideally be looking for a move-in date around the 25th of January (I begin work on the 30th January), although I can be flexible if it’s a matter of a few days either way. Unfortunately, as I am currently in Adelaide, it is unlikely that we will be able to meet in person before I get to Melbourne (and hopefully by then I have secured a place to live – fingers crossed!), however, I am more than happy to have a chat on the phone or even arrange a Skype call if you would like to talk in a somewhat face-to-face manner. Hit me up! Tom
Studying Masters of Data Science at Monash Caulfield campus. Enjoy going to the gym and very chill/relaxed person at home. Looking for a place to rent for 6 months to 1.5 years which is the duration left on my uni degree.
Hello! my name is Rixon and I am an Indian postgraduate student moving to Melbourne from Mumbai. I love to cook, watch football and listen to music. I would describe myself as a friendly, tidy and reliable guy. I am hoping to lead a busy lifestyle but nevertheless I would enjoy hanging out with the other flatmates. I will be starting my course at Monash late Feb and I am looking for a place close to the Clayton campus. I will be arriving in Melbourne on 6th Feb.
Hey friends! My name is Allyse, I'm 19 years old and I currently live in Mount Martha on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula! I am currently looking for a room/rooms for myself and my twin sister Ramona for us to rent in the south-eastern suburbs! I work 2 jobs which are easily transferrable and will be studying nursing in 2017 after taking a gap year in 2016. Ramona is a visual arts student at Chisolm Institute and is a very talented painter. We're the bestest of friends and super friendly. We love going to gigs, playing old school vinyl's and a good Netflix documentary. Both myself and Ramona are looking for a change and have been itching to live near the city for the longest time! Please message me if you're interested in having us on board! Allyse & Ramona x
Hi, to the person/s of mystery that I might wind up crashing together with! I am a uni student hailing from South Korea, who just turned 20. Though there's a lot to share about my decade-long lifestory over here in Melbourne, let me cut it short and introduce myself in a concise manner. I am a self-managing, goal-motivated person who is not too socially awkward (fortunately), and knows how to respect others as an individual and their personal spaces. And I definitely do not look it, but you'll sense an ample amount of true-blue aussie spirit within me, from the manner I interact with you. I'm an easy-going lad, but sure as hell not lazy, and think it my mission to contribute to the emvironment of the house:) so I hope we can get along!
Hello! Im 22 years old and from Mozambique. Will be studying @ Monash Caulfield Campus and Im looking for one or two females to share an apartment. I will be there from July 2017. I´m very organized and like to have everything clean, I know how to cook so we can always share house responsibilities. I also like to go to the gym and do active stuff!
I'm easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. I'm a working professional. I'm from England originally but have recently become an Australian citizen. I enjoy music, sports and cooking.😁
Here's a little something about myself to kickstart! I'm 21,currently in undergrad studying Psychology. I'm moving to Melbourne for the next few months to finish off my last semester in Monash University. I love quiet nights in to do some work and study with the exception of going out to socialise here and there! I'm very clean and tidy- loves to cook goooood food. I'm very considerate and respectful when it comes to personal space and privacy- as I like my own too! Also, very relaxed, fun and friendly and looking for a great place to stay! I'm very active during my days and I occupy time with either some sport or outdoor activities. I like going out to sightsee and find new, exciting and hidden gems around the area. A coffee and dessert enthusiast but also, most definitely likes living healthy.
Hi!!! Billy and I are married for 8 years now, we're trying to save up for a better future ;) so we thought that we could go for house sharing for at least a year (..or more). I'm currently working part-time as a recruiter, and studying my double-degree full-time. I love cooking, watching movies, and reading. Billy is more of the physical type, so he is in the gym a lot. He works on his personal cleaning business so he is out most of the time (he's very good at what he does, so you won't have to worry about cleanliness in the house). We pretty much do different stuff for fun -- biking, camping, night outs are just some, and we love sharing good food and a couple of drinks occasionally. Looking forward to meeting! :)
Growing up in New Zealand and moving to Melbourne 5 years ago, I couldn't be prouder to call this city home. Being an only child and having my mum always occupied with work, I have spent the last year and a half living on my own whilst completing high school, holding a part-time job and developing a huge passion for the gym, amongst other things. I am extremely tidy, organised, mature, and value my solitude, but I also love meeting new people and am always down for a chat or a bit of banter. Most of the time you will find me lifting weights at the gym, working at my part-time job, catching up with a friend over brunch at some new trendy cafe, or winding down at home - most likely with a tub of ice cream.
I'm a fun loving, outgoing person who enjoys travel and meeting new people, I love Melbourne and am about to begin studying at Monash university. Me and my partner are looking for long term accomodation in this wonderful city and would love all the help we can get. :)
Hi guys! I'm Mel, I'm 28 years old and working full-time in mental health. I am going back to uni next year to do my Masters, so looking for somewhere not too far from public transport. I'm a laid-back, friendly person, and I enjoy living in a harmonious, clean environment. I like all the usual things; live gigs and music, going out, travelling, markets and cider. I enjoy living with a friendly group of people, and socialising with them without treading on their toes. I like to have my own space from time to time, as I'm sure most people do, and I'm not looking for a overly crazy party house. Looking for an unfurnished room. I have some other furniture (lounge, armchair and fridge) so ideally looking for somewhere with some space.
I'm clean, tidy (it's a must), reserved, respectful of people's privacy and house rules, and reliable with payments. But I'm also easygoing, funny and I like socialising.
I'm a freelance artist and illustrator currently in my second year of uni. originally from rural NSW I've moved to Melbourne for uni and change of atmosphere and more opportunities for work.
Hi there! I'm looking to be moved out by the end of February/start of March to either a room in an established sharehouse, or in a new sharehouse we create. Would definitely prefer a long term home, so at least 6 months if possible! I am a 17 year old gal (18 in April), I work in hospitality and am hoping to begin studying nursing within the year. I'm a big triple j fan, love a good Netflix/Stan binge, can cook a couple meals pretty well (am much better at eating), and most importantly am an easy going and respectful housemate! I have two (very cute) cats that will probably need to move with me, but don't worry they are outdoor cats 95% of the time - the other 5% would be in my bedroom for cuddles (or in the lounge room if you'd like some pats too!). So preferably they'd need some grassy area to hang out in, and unfortunately wouldn't mix too well with dogs but could be okay with other cats. My only preferences for housemates are that you are respectful of others and the house, like you'd want from anyone you're living with. In an ideal world, coming home to some chill people I can watch tv and hang out with would be awesome, but I also understand wanting some time to yourself after a long day/night. Thank you for reading all the way to the end and please message me if you have any questions or think we'd make good housemates!
Hey! I am moving from Norway to Australia in one month, to study journalism at Monash Univesity. I am tidy and respectful, and looking for a place around central Melbourne! I have lived in Oslo, Norway, my entire life, and the reason why I wanted to move to Australia is mostly because of how outgoing and amazing you australians are. That is why I would love to live with Australians. I am an outgoing and friendly person, who loves to skate, surf and work with radio.

Hiya! I'm a student studying science about to do a year of fulltime work through my course. I'm pretty open minded, social and find it easy to get along with others. I do also like my downtime and understand others' needs. I usually keep pretty busy throughout the week so I'm not a huge party person though I will go out occasionally. More often than not, I'm either gaming, baking stuff or just hanging out with a friend :) If you're friendly, relatively tidy and have a room or are looking for someone to rent a place with, feel free to message me and we can take it from there!
