We are two 24-25 year old females who met on Flatmates.com wanting to live somewhere clean, friendly and safe. We want to rent a place in a reasonably new estate and would like to find a female working or studying full-time who would interested in teaming up with us. I am Samantha - I work in a business professional field and love animals, Netflix binges & making my house a home. Jayde is a social worker who enjoys an active lifestyle, playing outdoor soccer and crossfit, and loves a boardgame night. Give us a message if you're interested in the same thing. Thanks :)
I'm a clean and tidy English Primary school teacher who moved to Melbourne in July. I enjoy having a laugh and socialising. I'm a huge sports fan so enjoy being active and watching (still to decide a Footy team yet though). Enjoy soccer, cricket and golf in particular. Keen to socialise with new people so you can guarantee that I'm friendly!
I am fairly quiet and don't like encroaching on other people's space. Although I'm currently unemployed, I will be looking for a job once I relocate (there aren't any job opportunities where I currently live). I'm a bit of a nerd and have a passion for science, the environment, and art. Some of my hobbies are photography, painting, and guerilla floristry. I also really enjoy baking cakes, biscuits, and slices (and can make a mean single serve chocolate souffle). I have been living in a tiny country town with few services or resources for the past few years, so am really looking forward to moving out as soon as I can. I don't drive, so would prefer to live somewhere close to public transport. My ideal home would have a bedroom big enough to fit my vintage queen sized Burgess headboard + bedside tables in, and to have a bathroom with an actual bath in it (hip baths don't count!). I haven't been able to own any pets besides my cockatiel where I've been living, and would dearly love to get another cat to keep me company.
I am pretty chilled out person . I like to hang out with my housemates sometimes but i always respect their privacy . I love sports and currently studying Fitness . Im very easy going ,tidy and clean. I always clean after myself and like others to do the same.
Hi, I work unloading shipping containers of wine in the Dandenong area an average of 25-30 hours a week. I am also looking to get back into repairing musical instruments for a bit of extra cash. I'm a huge music fan so most of my spare time is spent listening to music and practicing guitar. I use headphones and computer software to so you don't have to hear me practice. I'm also into comedy whether it be cartoons like South Park or stand ups like George Carlin or Bill Burr. I'm respectful, clean/hygienic, and mature person. I don't party, smoke or do drugs besides the occasional drink. My limit is $180pw including bills and preferably internet connection. I've been saving for a house for about 2 years now, so paying rent will not an issue. Anyway please contact me if you want to team up, have a spare room, or have any questions.
Hi there looking for a maximum 3 bedroom place 2 would be fine too. A bit more about myself, I moved down to Melbourne in January 2016 from Queensland. I like to cook and I like if things are kept fairly clean. I like a beer after work, listening to jjj having a chat but having some alone time too. I work full time and study online full time so I'm pretty busy but I try to be social when I can.
i am a fun energetic person that is looking to live with one or two others. i work full time and i go to gym 5 or 6 nights a week so i am not home a great deal. On weekends i am happy to socialize and i enjoy a drink or two:)
I'm Vietnamese and speak good English. I'll commence at Monash University in October 17 as a undergraduate student. I respect others. I'm easy to make friends with others. I'm keen on living well. Apart from studying, I enjoy yoga, swimming, and reading. I'm a vegetarian (not very strictly). I also enjoy meeting new friends and hope to make lasting friendships while studying in Melbourne.
Second-year Science student at Monash Clayton, majoring in Geosciences. Originally from the Mornington Peninsula. Loves the outdoors, but open to trying and doing just about anything. Usually pretty quiet and can seem a bit cold but I'm not afraid to open up and have a bit of fun with the right people.
Hi there, My name is Nana. I'm from China, have been studying and working in Melbourne for 2 years. I'm currently at the last trimester of my master degree for accounting, will graduate in late October this year. I work as a part time accountant and got another part time job in the city as well. I will stay in Melbourne after graduation. I'm looking for a place that close to the train station so I have easy access to city. A room in a all female two bedrooms flat will be ideal, but open for other options. Prefer a furnished room, but if the room is unfurnished is OK too. My moving date is flexible. I'm easy going, friendly, generally pretty quiet but also enjoy being social. I like Yoga, swimming, running and enjoy cooking. I’m used to share houses, lived in current place for 2ys and my flatmate and I became very good friends, so I have good understanding of different culture, I'm respectful and responsible. I'm a non-smoker, like to keep the place tidy and clean. Looking after the property, treat it not just as a room but also nice and cosy like home. That's pretty much all I can think of for now. If you have a room or whole property available, please feel free to contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you. Warm regards, Nana
Hi everyone. I'm Saroosh Khawaja, recently graduated. Currently, I'm holding temporary residency and looking for a private room (granny flats are preferred). Working full-time and have to move from my current location. I am a non-smoker, don't like to drink but if any of my house mate drinks or smokes i have no issues with that. I like to live in privacy which everyone has their own. I am a simple and friendly person and appreciate diversity and pluralism. Any help from you will be highly appreciated. Thanks. looking forward to hear from you. See ya!
I have recently been asked to work in Melbourne starting in 2 weeks so here i am trying to secure a home in Melbourne promptly. Once again I set deadlines for myself that are tight and i may have told my new boss that I can change departments on the 2/10. I calculated the maths in my head, the same mind that told me to start on the 2/10 and came to the conclusion that once again I may have overestimated my abilities. I have decided I need to utilise some of the skills I have written I possess in my resume to get me through this predicament I have put myself in. Using effective communication, creative thinking and taking initiative to get the desired result i hope to secure a property before the deadline. When all else fails I will employ desparation. A characteristic not mentioned in my resume, however it is attribute that is evident in interviews. If someone could offer me a room that would be great as I have a lot of clothes to pack and some hard decisions ahead of me In relation to culling some of these once loved items. I am a full time working, aspiring to something different every month 26 year old gal. I am like most of the descriptions on here, neat, friendly and looking for those qualities in prospective housemates. For fun? friends, eating, sleeping, dancing, eating, movies, music, eating, becoming obsessed with a musical instrument for a week, googling how long it takes to become a master at said instrument and giving up before i even begin. Any questions, i would be happy to answer.
-I am friendly and comfortable -I understand it is important to have alone time -We can explore hidden cafes & arty places together -I am tolerant towards all nationalities and sexualities -I enjoy discussing about books (especially nonfiction ones) and movies (the slow and aesthetic types mostly but I'm pretty cool with anything -I am generally happy -I am a very unique person once you really get to know me
Im currently a student at Monash, looking to live near campus. Some stuff about me, I'm from Mauritius and I speak French. Love cooking and do some social drinking. Been living a long time sharing with mates, so I know how to respect boundaries. Looking forward for any cool people to share a flat/house together.

I clean up after myself and generally keep to myself but Id love to make friends with my housemates and watch some quality Netflix junk I occasionally have friends from perth visit, so i hope that won't be a problem Shoot us a message as Im in need of a place within two weeks! preferably long term as i don't want to have to move again!
Hi Everyone, I'm looking to move into a room in the above mentioned locations. I am a Marketing Manager working full time. I am clean, tidy, and respect other people's privacy. I enjoy an occasional glass of wine with the housemates :) Looking for a warm, quite house to come back to after long working days. Please send me a message if you need someone to move in. Thanks, Ali :)
I am a very easy going individual, not ever worried about too much. I work full time and also have a couple of other side projects that I'm involved with. I train most of nights of the week, eat only as much as I need to, read, play guitar here and there and most importantly, regularly laugh at my own jokes. My partying days are mostly at an end. In saying that when the time calls for it I can definitely have a drink if need be.
Respectful, friendly, non-smoker, hardly drink, work full-time and tidy around the house. I enjoy living in a clean home but occasionally have my relaxed days. I don't usually have friends over as I prefer socialising outside and keeping home as a place to relax and escape from all the noise and social demands. I have a king size bed and hope to find a big enough space for it and also someone who is similar so that we can co-exist in a happy and peaceful environment. If you'd like to know more, just send me a message.. 😄
I am neat and tidy. I respect personal space as I enjoy my own personal space sometimes also. So I understand that people do want their privacy. I work full time in East Melbourne so week nights I prefer to chill and keep it low key when possible. Not saying I wouldn't be keen on a drink or so after a hard day. I am also studying online to finish up my Bachelor degree. On the weekends I'll normally either chill or go out and see friends for some drinks depending what's on I'm from the Mornington Peninsula so I want to be in between the city and there preferably :)
