Hello, my name is Shannon I'm polite, friendly, reliable, and easy to get on with and can pay rent on time and bond :] I’m currently living in Brisbane I’m originally from Newcastle NSW I am currently looking for accommodation place to rent an apartment in the city or around the city and also looking around the gold coast near trains transport etc to go into Brisbane city. That is permanent accommodation so am looking forward to finding a place to stay as soon as possible, As it by myself, a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment would be suitable. Preferably a place near transportation services (buses, trains, etc). I can pay rent and bond straight up in advance, however, I have not rented before (apart from off of my own mother, as I paid fortnightly to stay in her home). so please give me a chance I do not have any rent experience as I never rented before with real estates, property owners nor landlords etc. I move out of home to become independent, meet new friends, socialize also it will be a bonus if you are in the gym as I’m in need of a gym you can be my Gym partner :D haha I'm fine with that. I need to work out since my goal is to lose weight (as I do have a belly) I currently seek benefits/Centrelink I get paid $810 a fortnightly however once I moved into a place that I like or is suitable for me :] I be looking to do Part-time work or do something that I’m into. or that interest me I have a consistent income and can contribute generously and reliably to rent. i can provide my income or bank statements to prove that I get paid and can pay rent on time and don't miss a pay haha I'm looking forward to meeting you. we can meet in person before anything to see If I get along with you and you get along with me so we both are comfortable :] I'm down to earth a lot of people tell me and very cheerful and kind if I the right person you want to live with please hit me up a message or text me I try my best to get back to you as soon as possible I have been looking for a place for awhile Looking forward from hearing from you Thanks, Shannon :D
Hello! I’m Maryann, but I prefer to go by ‘Mez’. I work full time as a secondary teacher, so I am busy Monday to Friday, with early morning starts and late finishes. I’m a super friendly, active and outgoing person who enjoys a good social, gym/yoga session and weekend adventures but look forward to my alone times too. I am very respectful, and appreciate people who look after themselves and their share living spaces too! Give me a buzz if you’re on the same boat☺️
I am a super easy going guy, who is very considerate of others I live with. I do not leave mess around in shared areas and am hygienic. I enjoy music and gaming and can sometimes be a hermet, but also do like to socialize and am friendly :-). I also currently work at a restaurant in chapel hill up to 5 nights a week.
Hi, Im Alice. Currently study my master at UQ and work in a cafe during the weekends. Im an easy going person and will try to maintain the public area tidy. I'm not super talkative but enjoy the chat with my share mates. I won't make too loud noise and prefer to live in a quiet place If the place is pet allowed, I will be super happy if you have one! I am looking to share a home with some like-minded people and create a great community, not just a place to survive. If you think we'd get along, hit me up!
I'm pretty easy going. I like clean and tidy. Absolutely love to cook. Everybody likes their own privacy and space but at the same time no one wants it to feel like they have to no contact with other people your living with. I work alot and schedule is hectic. But I do enjoy a weekend off and a couple of drinks 😊
G'day, Im Kane. Im 36 and currently working full time in the city as an ESL teacher. I also recently graduated as a Speech Pathologist which I am looking to start a new career in. While already working, I'm looking for work as an adult SP in hospitals around the state. So honestly if I get an opportunity to work regionally out of Bris I will very likely take it. So I could be staying here for anywhere between a few weeks to a few months, just depends on the opportunities going. Im looking for somewhere ideally within half an hour or so commute or a bike ride to the city, but could do further out too. Currently everything I own fits in my car and I would need a bed. Currently housesitting until June 10, so would like to move then or before. About me: Im an independent grown up, adverse to drama and know how to clean up after myself. I'm into fitness, speak Spanish and enjoy roots and reggae music. If you think I could fit into your place short term and would like to know some more about me , don't hesitate to drop me a line,
Currently working casually & studying part time Aviation at Griffith. I've lived out of home now for 4 years & know what expected to keep the home clean/happy. I love travelling & have been overseas twice this year already. Preferably looking for an easy going home or housemate to team up with.
A young, quiet pensioner who is fond of learning, art, science and philosophy. Noah is on the ASD or autism spectrum, with a number of chronic mental health issues that are behind his status as a pensioner. He's very low impact, gentle and compensates for struggles understanding body language by being dedicated to good communication and respect for others. Honest and quirky, good with animals, vocabulary and art, he's looking for other mellow, accepting people, especially other people in the LGBT+ community.
I'm a fun person to hang out with but I also like to have time to myself. I love baking so chances are if you live with me there will often be some kind of goodies in the kitchen to snack on. I'm a full-time nursing student so I can empathise when exam season is stressing you out, and I'm always down for a wine and a chat.
My name is Joss, I am a 27 year old and I have just sold my first house. I have been living here in Bardon for 5 years... I love being close to the city but still having the neighbourhood feeling. I work full time in solar energy during the week so I'm always out and about and busy during the week and I like to relax and play music or hang out with friends on weekends. On Thursdays I play an acoustic set at the YHA Pub and sometimes I spend some time on the Sunshine Coast.
Newly arrived to Brisbane from the UK, with the intent to remain in the Brisbane area indefinitely. I’m considerate, approachable, friendly and tidy. I’m new to the area, so it would be great to make some new friends- whether it’s a trip to the pub for a few beers, running, bouldering (my latest addiction), movies or more- I’m pretty sociable.
I am after an existing room to rent, or even someone to find a new place to lease... preferably the second option so we can start fresh. Females only preferred. I am not a party person, I’m pretty clean, reliable and can definitely fend for myself. I’m pretty quiet, but always up for a catch up and a glass of wine or something at the end of the day! Definitely would like to make some new friends out of this anyway. I come with 2 Ragdoll cats (strictly indoor only) who are pretty chilled out most of the time, they just wanna hang out with humans most of the time and love cuddles and scratches! I have put that I am only looking for 6 months at this stage but am happy I am definitely open to staying longer if it’s the right fit!
Hey future housemate!!! Looking for somewhere July 20-ish, message me if you think we could be friends! I study science at UQ, in first year and moved from North QLD. I'm looking for somewhere to live from July until the end of the year. I want to choose somewhere that's not only a place to live but with people I can get along with! I'm fairly social, although I'm at uni all day every day, and usually doing something on weekends. Always up for a chat or some drinks though! I would consider myself mature, and I can't deal with mess so you don't have to worry me leaving the kitchen dirty ahaha. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably priced (max $200/week) will bills included. I think I'd get along best with people my age who are studying or in the same situation! Feel free to message me if you think I could get along with you and your housemates!!
I'm a 21 year old Law & Business Uni Student working part-time in Admin. I consider myself a friendly, social, and outgoing person, yet I'm also laid back, can keep to myself, and will respect your personal space. I'm clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around. I usually have work and uni throughout the weekdays which keeps me busy, and on weekends I usually stay over at my boyfriends place or am out with friends. Looking to move in with some lovely ladies around mid year (approx. June/July) into inner-city fringe suburbs, as I would like to live closer to Work and Uni which are both in the CBD. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match :)
Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a clean and sociable guy from Tasmania. I like basketball, gaming, watching shows, going to the gym, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I'm looking for an affordable share house with high speed internet and clean housemates to become friends with. Happy to team up with like-minded people, or join an existing share house. I have minimal belongings; car, bed, desk & pc. My ideal place would be walking distance to the supermarket and train station. I can move anytime before July 12th. I plan to do volunteer work while transitioning into either employment or study, depending on what my options are once I find a home.
I'm an easy going physio student over at ACU, I like to keep my stuff clean and tidy so there won't be any worries there! Looking for a flat or flatmates to team up with for a place around toowong-ish in june-ish but that said I'm not too fussy on dates at all!
I am a well adjusted guy, who likes his footy, particularly as the World Cup is coming shortly. I am considerate and friendly and aim to be as tidy as I can be. Not always achieving everything but certainly not for lack of trying. Currently I live in Toowong which is an excellent area to live, however my flatmates are not the tidiest of people and I feel it would be better to make a new beginning elsewhere, as I don't need to spend so much time cleaning up after others. Now they are excellent people and considerate in their own way. I look forward to hearing back from a like minded person, I work hard and love to get away from Brisbane when the opportunity presents, like to stay fit and eat properly which admittedly I don't always succeed with and my ideal of healthy eating is really just to eat less of the bad stuff but still eat it, just not in such large quantities as some might indulge. Currently looking at obtaining a new position with the Federal Government so super keen to have a stable home environment from which to better concentrate on succeeding in the new position.
Hi! I'm currently living with my sister and her wife in Bellbird Park and working in the city at Big W, I'm looking at moving closer to the city as the commute to work everyday is a killer. I'm at work generally 5-6 days a week but love to have a good relax on my days off. I'm friendly and outgoing and always down for a chat. I enjoy going out on the occasion but also enjoy having a glass of wine at home. I love to cook and would love to live with a group of people who are keen on a meal together.
I am a quiet responsible and respectful student who likes to read and write in my spare time. I would like to find a home that is shared with a group of mature aged people. I like to come home make food and to have space... I don't mind socializing when I arrive home but I am more interested in finding people who acknowledge that I need to have space while I am trying to finish off my studies. If I sound like someone who you would consider as a roommate. I will be able to move in by the 16th of June.
I'm a happy go lucky kind of gal, always up for a laugh and love making others laugh. I am easy to get along with, very respectful, considerate, neat and tidy. I work full time in Saint Lucia and prefer to spend my weekends hiking, bush-walking, beaching, camping, road tripping, brunching and generally exploring and enjoying life. If I seem like your kind of person, hit me up 😊
