Hi there! I’ve just arrived from Malaysia and would be pursuing my Masters of Applied Linguistics and TESOL in Macquarie University. I’m flexible, easy-going, and get along with others easily. I enjoy the outdoors whenever I can, as well as quiet times at home. I keep my things neat and tidy, and respect the personal space of others. As this is my first time in Australia, it would be nice to have someone to travel around with :)
We are a clean, polite and friendly couple (Australian male 38, Japanese female 30) moving to Sydney from Tokyo. I am a designer with a background dealing with startups, she is a photographer. We’re both pretty quiet and respectful but still sociable. We both enjoy exploring, finding new places to go. It’s been a while since I have lived in Sydney so I am excited to explore it once again. We hope to meet our new flatmates soon!
Hi there, I'm Olivia! I'm from Connecticut, USA. I am moving to Sydney to take a teaching course. I'd prefer a quieter home where I can study. I'm not really a party person but I am social. I'm very tidy and clean up after myself. My hobbies include snowboarding, grabbing lunch with friends, going to the beach, and exploring new places. I can provide references if needed.
My name is Charles,I'm Australian, laid back, easy to get along with and like to have a laugh. I work full time as a Producer and Drone Pilot at the BBC. I'm looking for somewhere to live long term. Cheers Charlie
I had really great spiels written here but I closed the tab accidentally... twice. Anyway, about me: I'm a young professional software engineer, an innovator entrepreneur thinker rockstar, with the world in his shoulders and chips in his eyes, or something. I'll be working full-time in Sydney until at least October 2018. I'm pretty quiet and reserved, but love a good argument and/or discussion about really anything at all, learning, drawing, programming, all sorts of beverages, and bike riding (I don't actually do much of it in Sydney, though).
Missy, 26years old full-time Barista and Matt 31years old Software Development student. We are currently living and working in Canberra but looking to move to Sydney next Sunday (Feb 25th) as Matt's study going to start very soon. We have been living in sharehouses before in Brisbane also Canberra. We tend to keep things to ourselves after working hours but would love weekend drinks to unwind. We both love playing games. We are looking for a non-crowded, clean and with minimum noise private room in a sharehouse, or another person/couple who would do a teamups. As we are both gonna be studying and/or working professionally in Sydney, we would love to, if we find the right place, to stay there long term (at least 1 year) as we don't like moving in and out of a house. Please send us a message if you have suitable listing. Thank you
I am a French student and I am currently in the first year of a Master of Biology in Paris. I’ll come to Sydney from mid-February to mid-July for a research internship. I’ll work with a team of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Macquarie University. I am looking for an inexpensive place to live near the University (because I won’t have a car). I would enjoy to live with flatmates as it will be the opportunity to meet people (from Australia or not). I’ll be at home the evening, for the meal, and the weekend. I also wish to discover Sydney during this free time.
I am a well mannered, fun guy to have around. I work part time as a building and fire inspector. I surf and love beach fishing. I do not drink nor take drugs. and want to move to the northern beaches. Anywhere from Manly to Avalon. I also have a small, clean cat.
I'm currently a permanent part time manager. I do have late finishes sometimes at work but won't be noisy coming in. I'm not pedantic with cleanliness but do like to keep the place tidy and am happy to be sharing out the housework. I would generally keep to myself but would also love to be a part of a friendly home with people happy to chill together.
Im an easy going guy who loves a good laugh. very easy to get along with and can always bring banter to a group ! i am born and raised in south west sydney however im looking for something north of the river to work better with job oppourtunities and to cut my travel time and costs. i work in the sport and education industry at the moment, but dont worry, im not going to force you to come to the gym with me at 6 am because ill most likely still be in bed too. i love all sports, both watching and playing. youll never have to worry about me throwing a party because i have like 4 friends, however i do enjoy a sneaky beer or two sometimes !! only looking in hindsight at the moment, as i have a job interview in north sydney in the next few weeks which im hopeful to get !! this is why my bugdet and lack of a move date are as they are.
Hi there! I'm Hayasa, my parents are Japanese and I'm Australian born and raised. I teach at two high schools around the North Shore area, and I'll also be studying my Masters of Commerce part-time at USyd. Something important that I should mention in the beginning of my profile: I play the viola (it's like a larger violin, but not the one you sit down to play for). But- I can practice at work and I'll schedule my practice times while you're away, so hopefully you won't hear a peep. I love to bake (everyone must try my baked cheesecake!), tackle crosswords, and I'm slowly working my towards cultivating my green thumb (if you like fresh herbs and there's enough space, I can bring along my plants for us all to enjoy!). I'm also keen to start running one day, but that day hasn't arrived yet... Other essentials: I've lived with other people before. I'm also in a relationship but my boyfriend lives overseas so it'll only be with me that you'll be living with. I'm clean but I'm not a germaphobe. I shower at night. Sometimes I work on weekends so you might not see me, and other times I might be catching up on emails and doing boring admin stuff. I'm quiet but that doesn't mean I love a good banter and drinks if the occasion arises. I've been an avid cider drinker but I've slowly started to discover beer and I wouldn't mind exploring that more! I also don't smoke. I'm looking to live somewhere long-term, and having my own room. Ideally, I'm looking at a place near a train line (preferably T1 North Shore Line). I can move in at any time. Looking forward to hearing from you! Hayasa
Hi! I’m a friendly, outgoing, bubbly person :) who loves to meet new people. I like to have a laugh, a chat, and be around friends :) I’m looking for a clean house/apartment. Please feel free to message me if you think we’d get along :)
Cool job, fun hobbies, easy to get along with ;) I just moved to Sydney from LA. I'm a software engineer working on a website (doarama.com, if you're interested) and moved down here to work closely with the founder for a while. We've got an office in Bondi Junction, so that's where I head to during the weekdays. My main hobby is paragliding, (I just got back from a competition in Bright) so on the weekends I'll usually be up north flying at Warriewood or south at Stanwell Tops. I'll also likely be hitting the climbing gym on weeknights.
Hey everyone :) Just arrived in Sydney a few days ago and am looking for accomodation starting as soon as possible. Please also let me know if you have any short-term options ( 1 - 3 weeks). I am currently doing my masters in Business administation/Marketing at the University of Hamburg in Germany and will be spending a semester at Macquarie University in the Masters of Research program. Having lived in a variety of shared appartements during my time at uni in Hamburg and while spending a couple of months in Spain after high School, I like to claim that I am easy to live with and get along with most people. :) I would prefer a private & furnished room in a location which is not toooo Long (less than 1,5 h) of a commute to Macquarie Uni (though preferably more central or closer to the beach than right next to the university). I love to travel, try to go the gym (sometimes more, sometimes less motivated), meet up with friends .....just pretty usual stuff. My Student visa expires July 31st, so I will either head back around that time or try to stay a little longer with a tourist or working holiday visa. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you think you might have an acommodation option that could fit. :) Sandra
Hi - I'm a easy going professional, neat and tidy and love sleeping in on the weekend. I'm moving to Sydney from Melbourne for work. Don't know anyone here so I thought a shared house would be great. I love sport and socialising on the weekend. Non - smoker Bonus if you have a dog... I love dogs
Korean guy Looking for a place near Macquarie University. Currently in Korea for holiday and will be back to Australia on 17th February so I hope to find a place asap. Been in Melbourne, Australia about a year for working holiday but will do masters degree in Sydney. I'm a clean and tidy individual and have lived in a foreign country for nearly 10 years. I understand and respect cultural differences. I'd like to have dinner with housemates sometimes but also respect personal space. Never missed or delayed rent and bills since 2011. Prefer to stay for a long-term (6 months or more)
I am looking to move out of my current share house in redfern a little closer to the beach/natural space from the start/mid march until the end of April time. (Negotiable) I am super chilled, easy going and have a pretty positive attitude. I like to spend as much time outside as possible but work really long hours so am looking for somewhere that is easily commutable to the city. If you are going on holiday or need to short term let your room, let me know :)
