Hey everyone :) I'm starting postgrad study at Macquarie this year. I'm friendly, hardworking, clean, responsible, quiet and respect others need for space. I'm not a party animal and I'm really looking for a quiet place where I can just get on with studying my degree. I'm originally from the Gold Coast and have lived out of home for the past 4 years in Brisbane. I don't smoke and seldom ever drink. As a person I'm easy-going, outdoorsy and love animals, hiking, art and playing the piano. I also come with a coffee machine :) . Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, I love getting to know people and look forward to hopefully sorting something out with you. What I'm looking for (fingers crossed): - a responsible, easy going flatmate (or two) who's more or less in a similar boat - preferably someone who respects everyone's need for a bit of space when studying, and also ideally in their 20's just because I think we might have more common ground - accommodation relatively close to Macquarie Uni, or easy access by public transport/walking/car - if possible, would prefer private bathroom and parking space (but I'm happy to keep an open mind on this and understand this may be overly optimistic on my budget) I'm really open to suggestions and other options, if you have a place you think might suit I'm happy to hear you out. I look forward to hearing from you!
I am a 23 year old student at Macquarie University, studying a Bachelor of Medical Sciences in my second year. I am very quiet and keep to myself, I'm honestly not much of a talker, but please don't take that to mean that I'm not friendly. I consider myself a bit of a phantom housemate - rarely seen or heard. I do have a boyfriend that I like to have over sometimes [we're both quiet, we generally study and play games together], but otherwise I don't party or like to have people over. I spend most of my time studying, playing video games and listening to music, however you won't have to put up with my tastes as I know that sound travels throughout a house and so keep it down, especially at night. I am also a very strict non-smoker. I am generally tidy and clean up after myself, both in my own room and in common areas. I'm a light user of the kitchen, and follow a "clean as you go" mindset, and always clean up when I'm done. I also always pay my rent on time! I've been living independently for ~7 years, so I like to think I'm a bit experienced with sharing spaces with others. Anywhere within a ~10 minute walk to a train station on the T1 line is ideal, or within walking distance to MQU. I do have my own furniture, so I would prefer an unfurnished room - I have a double bed, a desk and a bookshelf. I can supply all of my own things like towels and plates/bowls/cutlery if needed, so the only things I would need to share would be a washing machine, dryer/clothesline [or space for a drying rack] and fridge. I adore cats and can happily live with them, dogs depend. Please feel free to get in contact with me and ask any questions, I hope to meet you and become a great housemate~ - Blake
I am easygoing, and I'd love to socialize with people. I am passionate about movies and have a knack for technologies and startups. I am working full-time and looking for a private room in a share house with great flatmates who do not trun the house into the party house. I pay rent and bills on time and love to live with families or group of people who keeping everything neat and tidy. Homestay / home stay with nice family without the need for providing me a food is also an option which I am thinking of it.
Hey guys!! We are looking for an awesome place to live, with like-minded people. Mounisha: I'm studying full time at MQU doing Science/Law (yes, I'm aware I'm a nerd :P) and also work part time at a driving school. I love my wine and netflixing, but if you are keen on horrible jokes and watching me lose at board games, I make decent company. I also really love puppies. Like, a lot. Isham: He didn't want to write his own bio, so I'm gonna write whatever I want here. This dude is a full time Commerce/Law student (how boring can he get????) and works part time as tech support. He's pretty quiet, but also really awesome once you get to know him. We're just looking for people who are fun and weird and love food. We're also saving for a wedding soon so looking for somewhere affordable but not too far from uni. If you think you've got room for us or want to start a teamup, shoot us a message and we can grab coffee sometime!
Hi, I'm Kallista. I just finished the HSC last year, and am moving out of home to study at Macquarie university. I'm always respectful and friendly, and like to keep my room neat and tidy. I work shift work and during my time off I travel back to Newcastle to spend time with my family (wife and 1 year old boy). I'm currently working in Thornleigh so would be keen to find a place close by. Interests include soccer, cricket, xbox and the occasional good book.
Clean, tidy, work 60 hours a week. mostly keep to myself with studying in the evenings but do like to have a conversation. Weekends I like to surf or go see friends. Friends and acquaintences say I am easy going and make them feel comfortable.

Hi, I'm Aurora! I'm a quiet little night owl. Hi! I consider myself easy going, friendly, organised and responsible. I like to respect each other's privacy and space but at the same time always open for a chat or casual light drink. I’m a very neat & tidy person and enjoy to share accommodation with someone who is like minded. I often work 6 days a week and usually out of the house by 6:30am until late afternoon or evenings. Well on weekends (Sunday's), if I’m not catching up with my sleep, you’ll find me occupied watching some NetFlix 😊
Looking for a place to share with one or two others which has a decent sized room and preferably an ensuite/own bathroom and off street parking. Work full time as a primary teacher in the Ryde area. Clean, tidy and friendly. Flexible moving date.
I am twenty five years old and just moved to Sydney from the United States to work at an accounting firm for the next few years. I am very independent and responsible, looking for a great place to call home.
Hey guys, I'm a pretty shy/quiet person but also love to get out and about. I also love cleaning, weird I know. I love pets, don't have any. Love cooking, and eating. I work full time as a legal PA in Parramatta Monday to Friday. I'm looking for a nice space to chill out after a days work and have a glass or two. Can't think of anything else at this point
Either looking to share a modern 2 bedroom flat with someone or a 3 bedroom and both use the 2nd bedroom as a study/home office. I have until Feb 23 to find another place, but might just find a place and offer the spare bedroom between then. Minimum of 2 bathrooms so we can have one each. Preferably share with other full-time workers of any age. Budget is approximate + expenses. Happy find a place where I pay higher %age rent for Master Bed + Garage I'm a full-time Finance/IT professional, been in my current place by myself for 13 years. Unfortunately Landlord needs his place for his Son and I can't find a new place for the same rent so looking to teamup. Somewhere near a train station. As I've been living by myself I have furnishings and house stuff for everything except a 2nd bedroom - washing machine, couches, cooking, home entertainment etc. (open to sharing an existing place but I have a lot of stuff, so need more than just a bedroom). I'm nice, friendly, easy-going, non-smoker, non-drinker, and vegetarian (I don't care if you're not :)). I'm clean, but far from fussy about things. I just need to sleep at night - so expect people to be respectful of noise late at night. Don't mind people coming over but I'm not a huge party person. Non-smokers only please. I'm not around much most weekends. I spend more time editing photos in my personal time (part-time photography business) than anything else, intertwined between cycling, guitars, gym, motorbikes and race cars.
Hey, I'm planning to move to a place closer to my office in Mac Park (working full time in the medical industry). Quiet guy, not a party animal, spending most days working/training in martial arts/freediving. Please let me know if you think I will be a good fit. Arty
I am cool and light, just carry a small suit case. My friend has two one bigger and one smaller. We both work out of sydney and my family stays in canberra. I stay in Sydney for 4 days and travel to Canberra for the weekend. My friend stays entire week. We both wanted to explore places in Sydney and wanted to stay for two weeks in a place or a month or might even stay longer, no plans. He works out of Bella vista and I work out of N.Sydney and Central coast. So anywhere in sydney is fine with us. We need two private rooms or a room with two beds and kitchen to cook. If you live with us in the house we would enjoy to have a glass of wine and can cook couple of Indian dishes. I wish to keep the place clean wherever I stay and I would appreciate a neat property.
I'm a mature quiet and tidy professional who travels for business, and relocated from Perth to Sydney due to work commitments 6 months ago. Except for dinner parties, I'm not into house parties. I'm looking for share accommodation for initially 4 months and longer if the place is suitable, with 1 or 2 mature professional people of either gender. I don't mind living with pets but prefer cats.. prefer room furnished maximum of $450 including any outgoings. I would like something in any of the surrounding areas of North Rocks, North Mead, Parramatta, North Parramatta Carlingford, Epping, Rhodes, West Ryde, Sydney Olympic Park. I'm quiet, tidy, easy going, non smoker, non TV addict, who enjoys good conversation, respectful of others, and will pull my weight with household chores, including sharing the cost of groceries and cooking. In addition to other activities, I enjoy going to the markets, eating out on weekends and the movies.
Hello there, I'm Tina, 33 and currently looking for room in a friendly and comfortable environment. I am easy going, mostly keep to my own, clean, quiet and responsible. I am not much of a party animal but I do enjoy hanging out with friends when I get the chance. I usually work in retail but I have taken 2 months off to re energize myself after a year of total burn out. (UPDATE: I NOW HAVE A P/T JOB) I am now actively looking for a new job (though I assure you I have enough savings to pay rent) and will be studying at Macquarie Uni as of February, so I need a new place that will be more centralized. I am a bit of a geek, I enjoy gaming on my PS4 and am quiet the movie buff. I also enjoy creating special effects makeup, reading and learning new skills. I am of Greek background so I could probably cook up a delicious Greek dish if you wish, too! I am looking for a private room, as long as there is a desk, a bed and a wardrobe I'll be happy. No preference in a specific gender household, as long as you are cool with having a laugh once in a while. I prefer a place close to transport also as I do not drive. If I sound like someone you'd like to have around, then message me! :) T.
I work full time doing customer service in a call centre. I'm from the Central Coast, but want to move down to Sydney to be closer to work. I'm easy going and respectful. I'm reliable, pay my bills on time, and am not a party animal. I do like loud music and video games but I've got headphones for that.
Hi future roommate person/s! How weird is it to write about yourself? I'm a 25 year-old male slave working and studying full-time. I’m moving up from Melbourne to Sydney on the 16th-ish. With whatever time I have spare I love to chill with video games, watching anime and having the odd Mario Kart competition to assert my dominance (Fkn shotgun Peach bruh). I'm a bit of a dork, love to make people laugh and find the humour in almost anything. The more dark and sarcastic your humour, the more we'll get along swimmingly. I've taken up a job opportunity in Sydney Airport and studying at MQU. Looking for a place that is close to the T1 line! ** I can commit between 6 - 12 months, as I'll be saying goodbye to Australia and moving to Japan! **
