I’m looking for somewhere to live that’s a little closer to work- preferably within 5km of the CBD. While I’d prefer to live by myself, I’d happily consider living in a two bedroom place with the right person! I work full-time in the city and so will spend most evenings at home or visiting family. Im social, but will happily give you space if you have guests coming over or just need some time to yourself. I’m trained in both First Aid & CPR and Mental Health First Aid. I cook most nights as its cheaper than eating out but I love ordering some cheeky Thai every now and again. I have my own bedroom furniture and tend to be pretty self sufficient. Although my bedroom may be a little untidy at times, I’m always sure to keep common areas and bathrooms clean. Message me if you’re in one of my listed areas! Please keep in mind I’m looking for female only accommodations and would rather have no more than 1 roomate at most. 😊
Hi! I've just started an 18 months Master's in writing, editing and publishing at UQ, so seeking a house share that balances the need to study with the need to relax and cut loose from time to time. I've suggested a 6 month stay but can stay longer/shorter. I've house shared enough to know when to whip out the bleach and when to let a plate in the sink go. I'm from the UK but lived that backpacker life in the ol' sunshine state for the last two years. I'm independent and have a life in Brisbane but always keen for a chat and tea/wine. That's a long winded way of saying I'm not needy. An arbitrary list of likes of demanded by this website: writing, halloumi, the beach, the bush. If you like the cut of my jib, get in touch!
We are quiet and easy going, kind of socially awkward so we tend not to leave our rooms unless it's for food or to go out, though we are a couple of big ol' nerds. We also have pet rats, but those are pretty easy to take care of and can be kept in our room if they arnt your thing ;) we're both currently looking for jobs as skye has only moved here this past janurary and is hoping to apply for the partner visa with myself. this is our first time moving so we may need some help, but we'll do our best!
Hey guys I'm currently studying 3rd year full time (double bachelor of creative industries/business at QUT) and working part-time in retail. Looking to move closer to uni into a shared house. I'm easy going, keen to make friends, would love to live in a sociable environment where we can have a chat or hang out occasionally. But also love my own quiet space to relax and recharge in-between. In return i'll be respectful of your space. Usually pretty busy with study and work but every now and then I like to have fun and go out to gigs/have some drinks/outdoor activities/anything involving food etc. I have a 14 year old dog Missy the border collie who i'd ideally love to bring with me (she's usually an outdoor dog). But if that's not possible she can stay at my family home. If you want to know any more just ask!
Hi there! I'm an 27-year old female from Sweden who´s looking for short-term (3-4 weeks) accommodation asap in the Brisbane area. I´m used to sharing and are very respectful, tidy and considerate. If you have something that might fit, then I would be really glad to hear from you.
I'm a mix of hermit and social butterfly. I gravitate towards happy, healthy and positive people! Im in my fourties but young at heart and easy to get along with either gender. What I like about flatsharing is the fun dynamic, but it only works when everyone pulls their weight and are respectful of boundaries. The best flatshares are with independent individuals with healthy circle of friends and self-sufficient but not complete strangers. I have uni/work priorities, but welcome the odd wine or outing if it's on offer (no expectations from me). I struggle with lazy flatmates who don't clean up their mess or snoop around. Sharing can be fun and I'm looking for mature individuals who understand the need for a harmonious living space without being clingy and needy. Rent/bills are always paid on time. I am looking for ENSUITE/OWN BATHROOM, OFF-STREET PARKING, FAST INTERNET - ideally a POOL or SUNNY BACKYARD.
29 y/o FT professional looking for new place. Pretty quiet. Don't really drink often anymore. TBH I spend most of my time at the gym but also keen to socialise with cool flatties 😄 Clean, friendly and respectful housemates only. Flick me a message if you think I'll fit in to your place.
G'day g'day, Twenty-three year old from the Sunny Coast here. Having just arrived home from the vortex that is Central America, I'm putting in the hard yards to earn back all that I've spent on tacos and tequila, but am currently having to commute to Brisbane for work. Open to residing just about anywhere reasonably close to the city. Not wanting to lock down anything longer than a six month stay at this stage, and ideally would like to stay off the lease as I'm not sure what the later part of the year holds for me just yet! Flexible moving dates between Feb and March 2018. I'm super easy going, friendly and open minded. I work in the disability support field and currently care for a legendary little dude in Greenslopes, but have a crack at music production/DJing on the side. Bonus points if you share a passion for bangers! Also love travelling, having a yarn, brewskis, cooking up mad vego meals and I'd love to meet ya mates. I'm looking for a somewhat sociable home where a drink/laugh/meal can be shared every so often. I've lived in all sorts of beautifully sticky situations, from a 1984 Ford motorhome with five of the best lads you could know, to a four bedroom flat accommodating fifteen big personalities and a colony of small rodents (it was as fun as it sounds), so I'm very used to sharing living space while also being considerate of other's needs, privacy and belongings. To be honest, those I'm sharing with matter much more to me than the place itself. I'm all for sh*tholes with good vibes! If you reckon I'm fit for the job, I'll be going off like a bucket of prawns in the hot sun to hear from ya. Lucy x
Hey there, my name is Taylor, I am 21, working full time for qantas as a flight attendant for the past few years. Please don't let my age fool you I am a very mature 21 and have lived in house share before so I know the drill. I am still quite new to Brisbane, I moved here from Perth a few months ago for work, loving it so far!! I am reliable and respectful of peoples privacy, I do shift work on a rotating roster so I also like my down time and do work weekends, I am very clean and am respectful of the communal areas. Would love to find housemates that are similar to this, I would want someone who is respectful of each others space but is also down for a wine, Netflix and some good banter or a drink in the valley. I am a smoker however outside only and currently live with a non smoker who said she has never smelt it on me, so you won't need to worry about that. I am more then happy to provide references of my last few housemates in Perth and my current one :) Please don't hesitate to message me for any other details, look forward to meeting you!!
Hi guys, I'm new to Brisbane . Working full time as a senior stylist. If I'm not working I like to keep myself active exercising in the gym. I'm sociable an enjoy good food out and also staying in and cooking up a feast over a few beers. I'm clean, reliable, and looking for somewhere to call home for the next 6/12 months. Brit living down under. Feel free to contact me for anymore information or if people are looking for team ups. Thanks 👍🏽
Hi, I'm easy going and easy to talk to. During the day I'm usually just at work then I generally have training for netball of nights. Willing to cook etc, I am extremely clean and will do my own washing etc. Looking for something long term but happy with anything at the moment. Am hoping to move asap.
Clean, respectful, honest couple looking to move to QLD. Cole, 24 year old Canadian working as a construction worker. Jessica, 22 year old Australian working in hospitality. We’re both super easy going, fun and friendly people. We like socializing but also love space so if wether you want to hang out or hide away, we understand as we will want out down time too. We do have one vehicle so some form of parking would be preferred. Animal lovers but unfortunately had to leave our kitty in Canada to be looked after by family until we get back, so if you have a pet we’re more than happy to look after them and have them around! Feel free to message us and have a chat.
Hey! Looking for a couple of decent girls/guys to start a new share house with. (I'm the one on the left) I love a bit of banter, a drink or two and to put on some tunes on the weekends but definitely enjoy my own downtime too so no worries there. Ride a motorbike so hey if we've got that in common it's a bonus! I'm a full time childcare worker (but trying to get into an apprenticeship) so rent/bills are always paid on time. Not interested in anyone who hasn't learnt how to clean up after themselves. But other than that, like to keep things pretty easy going. It made me pick a move date, but really in no rush, just depends on others. Would love a place with a deck/outdoor area to hang out in. Keen to meet some new people and set up a sweet new home. Hit me up for a chat :)
Clean, tidy, reliable, easy going, friendly, well travelled, active, open minded, social, trustworthy, respectful, Australian. I enjoy healthy living, fitness, intelligent conversation, good laughs, travelling, markets, festivals, animals/pets, art, music, film and nature. Looking for an air-conditioned bedroom within a quiet and peaceful household sharing with like minded people. No dramas and good vibes only. 😁✌
Hi There, My name is Kristy. I am 28 and have just relocated my life from Townsville down to Brisbane. I work full time at a University in the city, and I am now looking for a place to call home :) I am clean, tidy, easy going, I love to travel, meet new people and Ideally i am hoping to befriend my future housemate/s. I like to stay fairly quiet during the week, and come home from work to chill out with Netflix or some Trashy TV show. I am looking for a place with mature likeminded people, who can appreciate privacy and down time, but who are also happy to sit down at the end of a day and have a chat over a bevvie or dinner. I love to cook, and enjoy sharing the odd meals if that is something you would be interested in? On the weekends I like to be fairly social, and catching up with family and friends. I am also keen to do a bit of exploring so would be taking some day trips out of Brisbane. I enjoy a night out every so often, but much prefer a bar/pub type setting - I enjoy a good wine, a good vodka… Let's face it I enjoy a drink with the right company in the right situations however I am respectful, not over the top and do not want a full time party house but am open to the odd one. I have lived in share housing in Townsville for the last 8 years, and so i can appreciate keeping a household clean. I am a very tidy person, and strongly believe in keeping communal areas of a share house tidy. My previous share houses worked off a cleaning roster - So I’m not afraid to get in and clean, or work on a bit of a roster type scenario. I like living in a clean welcoming environment! I am preferably looking for a room big enough for a queen size bed and other furnishing desk, shelf etc, with Air-conditioning, Robe and an Ensuite or Own Bathroom. Look forward to meeting you! :)
I love a good chat about almost anything interesting but have my own life and not likely to cling too close unless you bake muffins, on the other hand I am not a total recluse, I would consider my self well balance and ready to complement any functional household. Sober (no substance issues), clean, cooperative open communicater. I am reliable with bills, willing to contribute to cleaning etc. Working on a good picture for the profile, have taken 100's but there seems to be something wrong with my camera, will update soon. As well as existing properties I am interested in teaming up with someone for an NRAS property application.

Hello lovelies! On the 29th March I will be fleeing the coup and moving to Brisbane to study a Cert lll in Pathology Collection @ TAFE in South Bank! I will be securing a casual/part time job in the hospitality/retail industry until my course is complete. I will be needing to rent a room for 2-3 months but if i end up loving the place and/or my roommates I would be more then happy to continue living there! I'm definitely a little social butterfly always seeking adventure but also love my alone time and will always respect yours! I am an early sleeper/riser and a big health nut but always down for some nachos every now and then. I'm super clean (lowkey germ freak), constantly making an effort to clean up after myself and respectful to your wishes. I am super genuine and would love for nothing more then to brighten your night after a shit day at work! Would never say no to a cheeky bev or two x
