I compliment an easy-going housemate dynamic. for the past 18 months I've shared a great home with 2 amazing guys but it's time to look ahead and find someplace new. I am quite content with my own company and have interests from social dancing to cooking fresh food, to binging on movies and occasionally getting out & reconnecting with nature in the great outdoors. I love having people's company but I also enjoy just chilling out and keeping it pretty low-key. I value respectful co-living habits but pretty much get along by being relaxed, funny (occasionally) and being open-minded. I should add that my preference would be living in a non smoking household.
In short about myself, I am a 25 years old Dutch backpacker. I've been in Brisbane for about a month now, and I'm planning to stay there between 4-6 months longer. I spend most of my days working. In my evenings I enjoy reading and listening to music a lot. I also play some guitar from time to time. I'm also a big fan of exercising (running/some fitness) and cooking, so we could do those things together :) Overall i'm a pretty serious person who's not really a party animal... In the weekends I enjoy going into the nature or have a coffee in the city, whatever I feel like doing. Do you think I would be a nice addition to your accommodation, then please do not hesitate to contact me! Erik Melis
Looking for 1 to 2 easy going people to start a new share house with. I work part time for a cancer clinic at the Wesley hospital and am studying full time at ACU. Yes, I work part time but rent is always paid on time and often in advance. My current lease ends mid July, but am looking to move early to mid July whilst on uni holidays. A little about me, I'm 24, easy going and always down to go with the flow, social when i find the time, enjoy a wine/beer with dinner and lazy couch hangs with housemate/s but am 100% all for personal space and often will hide out in my room to study or catch up on sleep. Occasionally my parents/siblings/friends from up north will visit but its always pre-warned. Would be looking to rent a unit, townhouse or house (given there isnt a high level of yard maintenance) but if you have a dog then i'm all for a yard! I'm a dog person and not a cat person. Sorry but allergies to cats are real! Feel free to flick through a message or text. Would love to catch up over coffee or a drink first to make sure the household wouldnt be weird as shit & that we're on the same page. Cheers, Hannah. :)
Hi there, I am a registered Nurse moving to Brisbane for work, I have interests in gardening, art, painting, rugby, AFL, sports and gym. I am quite active and enjoy doing things in the community, sight seeing and fitness, time in the house is usually spent sleeping, cooking or studying.
Looking for granny flat / studio unit / one bedroom, possibly close to public transport. I'm an easy going nursing student at QUT, clean person and I take initiative to ensure the household is in order.
Hey Mates, My name is Kevin and I am from Germany. After I passed my Bachelor Degree I have worked the last three years in a full-time job to save money to realise my dream of studying and living in Brisbane. I am going to do a full-time Master Degree here at QUT. Therefore, I am looking for a furnished, modern apartment/room close to QUT Gardens Point campus. What do you get? Let me tell you something about me. I am German, I am a social, friendly and humorous guy who likes to meet new people and spend time with them. I am always tidy and set value on a clean room/flat. It must not be sterile but I want to live in a clean and decent home. I am definitely not noisy but like to have flatmates who respect when I have to learn or need some rest. During my free time, I love to spend my time out of the door. This means that I like to do a lot of sports. I play football and soccer, like to go out for a run/hike and to have a BBQ with friends. I am a member of a local sports club here in Brisbane and love to attend at some social activities at uni. I am always open-minded to new things and want to spend time with you and other new friends. I want to have fun and a great time with you! Another interest is my affection to travel and to see something of the impressive, scenic environment and places here in Australia. I love to travel around, explore new places, do some trips and have an adventure! If you share the same bias, awesome! I would love to fill every minute I can afford with memorable moments! However, I am really motivated to do a great job at uni. During the semester, I work hard to get good grades. Thus, I will spend a lot of time in the library or in my room during busy days. If you want some time for yourself or want to learn together, get some advice or stuff like this I am open minded. I am not only looking for some nice flatmates, I am also looking for friends. That means for me to learn something about you, to help you and to spend some time with you and the other mates. From my point of view, it would be great if we have the same interests and can do something together. I would especially love to live with some locals to learn something about you, your culture and get in the touch with real Aussies. Do you like my personal description? Do not hesitate to contact me! I have lived the last months at Kangaroo Point and looking to move in into my new home around the 12th of June. I am convinced that we can have a great time together! If you share the same point of view it would be great to get an inspection. My current contract runs out at the 12th of June. Therefore, I am looking to move in around this date! I would love to get a message from you! :) I am looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers Kevin
I'm a house trained male, I'd even go as far as to call myself a domestic goddess. I enjoy cooking and casual drinks. Don't have any pets, but if a property with a yard opens up I'm down to get a basset hound if you're cool with it. Looking for a 2 bedroom house or apartment. Indian male 35 yr old Clean and tidy Less talkitive Repect other's privacy Not pet friendly Can cook simple indian dishes for you
I am a polite, tidy person who is more than willing to do their fair share of work around the house. I am extremely friendly and happy to partake in any activities house mates would want to engage in, but am also perfectly happy to (and sometimes, depending on mood, inclined to) keep to myself and be respectful of others privacy. I can clean and cook and am a generally reliable person. I am not much of a party animal, though I do enjoy a good sesh here and there. I'm more than happy to follow house rules and requests, and pride myself on my general laid back nature. I will be studying Film and Political Science beginning Semester 1, 2018 at UQ.
I am an allied health professional working standard Monday-Friday hours. I am looking for a place to live closer to work (Chermside) with a housemate of similar age. I am originally from Melbourne and have been in Brisbane for 2 years while studying my masters degree. I'm looking for a friendly and considerate housemate (prefer one housemate, but happy to consider more if the fit is right!) who likes to have a chat but keeps most of the socialising outside of home. Ideally looking for a place with off street parking but will consider without.
Hi! My name is Ellyn, I'm 26 years old and a full time worker (Monday - Friday). I am friendly, easy going and tidy. I like to be social but like my own space as well and respect the space of those around me. I am normally at home weeknights but get out and about on the weekends seeing family & friends etc. Looking for somewhere around the end of April, ideally close by to public transport for work and not too far from the City. If there are any questions please contact me anytime. Thanks - Ellyn
Hi there, im a 26yo working graduate whose looking for a room to rent. I would prefer a place to park my car off the street (driveway/garage etc..) and also highly prefer a lockable room. I am a clean quiet, non-smoker who sometimes enjoys a night out once in a blue moon but mostly like to sit on my computer or just chill out playing games or even just chilling out :) Max payable hopefully would be $250 including bills :)
About me I'm a laid back, clean guy with an adorable, well trained 2 year old pup named Vance aka Vanceypants. I'd love to live with another dog lover because Vance loves to be around humans and cuddles. I work full time so during the week I like to relax after work and on the weekends I love going on adventuresome having a drink. I'm looking for a place close to the city, with a good vibe and likeminded people so that we can all feel at home. If this sounds like you then hit me up! Or if you'd like to meet me and my dog - let's grab a beer or two. Looking to move asap :) Chris & Vance.
Hi! Currently living in the northern suburbs, but I'm keen to move closer to friends/work/civilisation. I'm working full time in the city, so looking for a home that is between Toombul and the city, and walking distance to the train. Ideally I will have a bathroom to myself, and would also be great it some of the rooms of the house/apartment/other has air con! Likes include: - Cooking - Eating - Binge-watching the latest tv shows Dislikes: - People who don't replace the toilet paper. I do actually have a social life - I promise! I play social netball, hang out with friends most weekends and generally like to balance out my laziness with fresh air. I like my home to be a comfy retreat (clean and calm) and looking to live with others who feel the same. It would be great to have housemates who friendly, though I'm not needy and happy to have time to myself. I have almost no furniture (bedroom furniture only), but can buy if necessary. Ideally looking for housemates who are non-smokers and no cats (dogs are fine). I don't drive so I don't need a car park, but I am looking for somewhere well connected to public transport. Want to know something else? Ask.

I am a Pharmacy student at UQ who on the side is a hobbyist artist. I am looking for a place to stay closer to university as I currently live near Caboolture. I am generally a quiet person who keeps to themself but I also enjoy spending time with others. I have a cat named Casper who is a friendly sleepy sweetheart I would like to take with me, but if I can't I would at least like the option to get a small pet. I fall under the LGBT spectrum and a place where I would feel free to be myself is a must.
