My name is Emy and I'm from England and just turned 30. I work as a portrait photographer in and around Sydney which is very varied and keeps me busy. I have spent some time this year traveling the country in my van and seeing lots of cool places. I am on a working holiday visa but will be changing visas next year to be able to stay in the country for longer. I love music, theatre, dancing & adventures :) My boyfriend is called Michael and he's 28 and is Australian (from Dubbo originally). He works full time as a video editor for a wedding video company in Fairfield. He's lived in Sydney for a while and studied film here. He also works on short films for film festivals in-between his editing job so he's pretty busy. He likes listening to podcasts, playing on his playstation & watching Netflix to chill out. We don't smoke and I don't drink (just really don't like the taste!). Michael only drinks a little bit. No problem living with people who smoke and drink as long as there is no smoking in the house. We are both into eating good food and like to cook (always wash up after we have eaten!) After work we tend to cook food and chill out with netflix, or go out for dinner or cinema. We both try to keep fit and I regually go to fitness classes in the city. On days off from work we catch up on sleep, socialise and take trips out to the beach or shops. We are both pretty chilled out and don't like drama so are looking for a friendly and chilled out place to live. I'm pretty chatty where as Michael is quite shy so it takes him a while to get chatty with new people! But we are both super friendly and positive people who are clean, tidy and respectful of other people. We totally respect other peoples space and privacy and are looking for the same whilst also being able to hang out with our future flatmates if they want to. We don't have an ideal set amount of time that we would like to live in Sydney so I wrote down 4 months but it's a very rough number! This is because we plan to travel at some point next year but we need to spend some time to work hard and save up for it and we don't know how long it will take! So a flexible lease agreement would be ideal for this reason; but I think we will need a minimum of 4 months to save if not a whole lot longer! Our ideal place must be within a 10 minute walk to the train station and walking distance to supermarkets. Own bathroom and outdoor space like a balcony or garden would be a major plus but not essential. And an apartment that comes with gym facilities or is near to a gym would be even more awesome. We are clean and tidy but not obsessive over it so are looking for flatmates who are the same. Our earliest move in date would be just before NYE. Or any time after that we can be flexible.
Chill conversations + wine after a long day. Add a little bit of music and it'll be perfect! I'll be in Sydney for a while (2 years actually) as I'm going to read at the University of Sydney (so somewhere within 15 mins walking distance would be great!) Super clean and tidy and a tad sociable but highly laid-back (not looking for a party house, really). I respect personal space as I love mine too (don't we all?). I do smoke and if you don't take the smoke well, I'll be more than happy to find somewhere outside to go about my business. And I would actually prefer to have a room in a shared house! Will probably arrive in town mid February before school commences in March 2017. Feel free to drop me a message! Cheers!
I am a fun and confident young man that loves to travel. My aim is to see as much of the world as possible! I'm open to any sort of travel experience! I will be a great roommate and hopefully a friend. I'm very respectful and I would be grateful that I'm being welcomed in to your home and treat it as if it were my own. I love to experience new things and sample different cultures, whether that be through trying local food or visiting world-renowned tourist attractions. From the biggest cities in the world to the small towns that you stumble across travelling, I like to see somewhere for what it is and enjoy it all the same.
Easy going. Have lived in shared houses before; respectful of space, tidy, payments on time. Im from Sydney and have lived abroad. Work Full-time in optical field and occasionally on weekends. Home is a sanctuary, looking for like minded, lgbt friendly housemate/s.Social and enjoy sharing a glass of vino , but also good with time alone. Banter a plus , open communication a must. Weekends spent working, otherwise with mates, outdoors, or reading indoors. Love listening to music- let me know if u don't like it-happy to put in headphones! Also fond of food.
Im friendly, reliable, clean and respectful. Having lived both in share house situations and alone I prefer the former as I like to be able to hang out and have a chat with housemate/s when I get home from work. I like listening to music, cooking and having a glass of wine of an evening when my schedule allows for it. I also enjoy going out 'n about to cafes, bars and the beach. I have a dog - who is a little legend. I understand many places will not allow for a dog but I really only want him to be able to stay on my days off. Family has kindly agreed to take him on working days. He is well trained and mellow.
Hey! My name's Hayden :) I'm doing a clinical masters next year. However, at the beginning of the year I'm going to enjoy my last month of freedom so I'm going away to Asia to explore a little. As such, I will only need a place for two weeks. Since my lease expires shortly, Ideally I'd like to move in late this week/early next. About me: I'm a super chill guy who loves to socialise but also respects others privacy. Well domesticated and very clean (but not intense). I also love sports so when I'm not working I'm often out training (football is my favourite! That's soccer to most Aussie folk) I'll be working a lot over the next couple of weeks prior to leaving, so you might not hear much from me. But I want to stay somewhere east so I remain close to work. I am a group facilitator at eating disorders Victoria which means my hours can be quite varied, but I'm extremely respectful of other's schedules! If you have something that would suit me let me know. I'd love to meet you and check the house out!
My friend and I are looking for a great roommate/roommates to live with next year! We are both friendly, easy-going and fun loving people who enjoy being social but also respect other people's privacy and personal space. My friend is working full time next year in finance whilst I'm doing my Masters at Sydney Uni and we are hoping to move in around mid-Jan.
I am a 31 year old young professional who just moved to Sydney from California. I'm looking for a centrally located flat share. I am a clean and considerate roommate who loves a balance of being social and respecting a roommate's personal life and space. I love to drink wine, cook and stay in for a movie night, but am just as happy to go out dinner or grab a drink. I'm open to living with a pet.
Fun Easy going personality; I get along with most people. I like to treat people like how I want to be treated.

I Love to travel and try to go away twice a year ✈️ I enjoy nights at home watching Netflix/FOXTEL/docos/Bios/movies based on true events... really not into make believe lol.... Love the company of family and good friends, so I try my best to spend any free time i get with loved ones. Im a go with the flow super easy going stress free guy! I am an absolute clean freak.. but I'm a bad cook, so sorry you won't be getting any meals from me other then take out, but you can rest assure the place would always be spotless... Looking to live with someone who is respectful, trustworthy, relaxed, laid back, easy going and isn't to uptight, having said all that, the most important thing about a house mate I think is to form a bond that leads to a friendship. Getting along and understanding one another is super important. Im generous and hope you are as well.. i tend to always be stocked up on food, home essentials and don't mind sharing my things.
Moving to Sydney for work, I'm in the health industry and looking for a great house to join! I love keeping fit and being outdoors while enjoying my fine foods and wines. I can cook up a storm, so be ready for an abundant amount of delicious sweets and foods. Keeping the house clean is a must for me - I can assure you that I can be quiet and tidy. I'm hoping to find a great bunch of people to live with, where we can spend some quality couch time together!
Hi, my name is Trish, I'm a bubbly and energetic Aussie but not originally from this area. I work normal office hours with a casual job teaching group fitness classes on the side. I am clean and tidy, friendly who doesn't mind having a drink with housemates, but can keep to myself at times too.

I enjoy travelling, dining out and going for a drink or two with friends, but I also love my down time to chill and read a good book. Hi there, I'm a Brissy gal moving south for a new job in Jan 2017 - I'll be working for an awesome sustainability company in comms & marketing, with general 9-5 business hours. I'm 33, very easy-going and social, have an equal love for an early morning spin class and a late afternoon wine or two (that's called balance, right?), and after 10 years of to-ing and fro-ing between Bris and Syd for work, I'm excited that I finally get to call Sydney home. Looking to join a house that's relaxed and social, but doesn't frown upon alone time either!

Hi! I am a 23 y/o female looking for a room in Sydney, Eastern suburbs preferred. I'll be working full-time in the creative fields come January and am looking for a relaxed, but tidy atmosphere to call home. I'm friendly, love getting to know new people, and tend to enjoy laid back bar scenes, getting outdoors, or a lovely night in vs a night out clubbing. I'm neat, respectful, and reliable - you won't have to get on my case over bills! My listing says a stay of 3 months preferred, but I'm really looking for a long term place if it's a good fit. Please reach out - I'd be happy to connect over social media!
Hello potential housemates :) Im moving to sydney for the first time to start a new career at Royal Hospital for Women - very excited! Im a very light hearted, easy going and relaxed 32 year old who is clean, tidy, respectful and who LOVES to laugh over the occasional wine, beer or cider, corney netflix movie or the occational games night. Im a terrible cook but am often given an A for effort :) .. so i do enjoy eating out and socializing when the bank account can cater for it. I always try to make a house a home and have managed to become great friends with all of my previous housemates. I'm very social, love a house where the communal areas are just that .. a place to chat, unwind and enjoy a meal together. But also understand that your room is your space to relax for some quiet time. Really just looking for like minded, respectful people to make sure home is a positive place to come back to. I love the beach and ANYTHING to do with the water! i spend most of my time there- surfing, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, morning and evening walks with a coffee (i know cliche .. but its always the best times to do it). Love exploring new places but love coming home at the end of it. My only request is that I am and will be a shift worker so sleep is sometimes a bit all over the place so really looking for someone who can work with that. Also fur-babies are welcomed and always a bonus. Hope that gives you a little idea about myself if you think you are like minded and looking for the same things .. please send me a message :) xx
Hi I'm Katie. Originally from the United States but been in Sydney about a year and half- love it! I'm a social worker in the community. I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, having a barbie, lawn bowls, and cooking! I don't use drugs or smoke, but do fancy a glass of wine here and there. I like living in a clean home and will always do my best to keep our place tidy. Ideally looking for some place that I could stay at for a while, if we both hit it off, would be nice to not move again.
I've been described as a friendly easy to get along with person. Personally speaking, I do try to get along with everyone. I do count myself as an introvert with an extroverted nature whereby I do enjoy socializing but need my space to recharge from time to time. I'm looking for something closer to work, having a little under a month ago been transferred to a new site in Surrey Hills. My move date is flexible, I can move out a bit sooner or later than the 1st of January if need be. I am reliable when I comes to rental/bill payments. Am handy around the house, able to cook and clean after myself (I'm familiar with house sharing respect). LGBT+ friendly and generally respectful to all those I meet. I can bring a bar fridge, a couch, a table/chairs, coffee table and router. If you think I'd fit send me a buzz.

Hi Guys! We are easy going and relaxed students from Germany. The both of us are staying in Sydney for a fulltime 9-5 internship. Andy is working in the area of Surry Hills and me near Hyde Park. We enjoy a sporty and healthy lifestyle, have a great sense of humour and like to enjoy some drinks and shared dinner/BBQ in a relaxed atmosphere with our new flatties. In addition, we are very reliable and tidy flatmates. Furthermore, we have several years of flatshare experience and enjoyed it! By the way, we are not one of the newly in love couples, so we don't always want to be on our own - we love to socialize. We are searching for a place up to the end of April (but we would also consider a shorter stay). We look forward to meeting you guys soon! Don't hesitate to drop us a message :) Cheers! Kathy and Andy
