Hey there! My name is Olivia but most people call me Liv or Livvy. I have just finished travelling through Asia and down the East Coast of Australia, so now looking to settle in Sydney. I used to live in the countryside in a small county called Suffolk, on my family farm. I have traveled quite a lot and been to around 19 different countries. I love my music, there isn't a day where I don't listen to some! I am looking to get some bar work or office jobs depending on what I can get, I plan to stay for just under a year and then head North to gain my second year visa. I am a very active person and would look to join a hockey club but I also like going on a night out in the town once a month or so. Most of my friends would say that I am very out going, funny (the majority of the time) and not a bad cook either, so if you're lucky I'll make you my signature cobb salad and profiteroles! I am a very tidy person I hate mess but I'm not a control freak either, I am also pretty domesticated I know how to clean, iron, wash, cook etc so I am happy to share the house chorus. My ideal housemates would be people that want to once a week or so have a night in cooking and watch a movie but also have our own lives! I would need them to also be open to having friend staying over, not on a regular basis but I may have the odd friend come over form the UK. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions! Thanks Livvy
Heya, My name is Kara I am a 27yr old Australian female (born and raised). I work in the Travel industry as a Cruise Consultant (full time Mon-Friday). I am starting a new job located in Sydney CBD (currently living out west) so I am looking for a spot closer to the office. I work full time Monday - Fridays (8:30am-5:30pm). After work I like to just come home, relax and enjoy some down time (this sometimes includes a glass of wine...or two). Though on weekends I do like to go out with friends, have a few cocktails, dance and enjoy myself (not every weekend but often). I am only wanting to share with one other person and preferaby have my own bathroom. I have my own furniture (brand new) so a furnished place isn't required. I am really wanting something quite new, clean and most importantly in a good location (close to transport). I am a trustworthy person and am looking for the same. I can honestly say I am well mannered, tidy and most of all respectful. I really do hope to find someone that I get along with, have similar interests with and can soon call a friend as we will be sharing a home together. Interests/loves include: -Brunch -Antipasto platters -Fashion -Travel -Fitness (to a degree) -Love island (insert blind monkey emoji here) -Binge watching TV series such as: Younger, Real Life, Vida, Suites, Love Island, The Bachelor, Empire, SVU, Animal Kingdom, Imposters (the list goes on) After reading my listing descriptions, If you feel I am the perfect candidate and we are like minded please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks!
Hi, I just graduate from USYD and work as a business analyst in the city. I don’t smoke or drink at all. I like to enjoy the music or go to the gym for my weekday night. For the weekend, I usually play basketball or go to exhibitions. If you like to live with an interesting soul, that’s me. Cheers
Hi, my name is Alistair and I work in the city as a lawyer. I am 30, and I enjoy spending time with friends, socialising on weekends, and running. My interests also include travelling, listening to music, and cooking, and am always up for a chat!
I'm moving to Sydney early September for a job in the city, will be working full time Mon - Fri. On the weekends I hope to be exploring Australia seeing as much as the country has to offer. Im clean, easygoing, very sociable and positive. I enjoy going to the gym, running and just keeping fit in general. Looking for like minded house mates.
I am a young entrepreneur and business professional (German) who recently moved from Copenhagen to Sydney. I am 31 years old (still young!) and would consider myself mature, much experienced in flat-sharing and easy-going who likes to socialize but also respects people's quiet time. Looking for long-term accommodation (min. 6 months) and a place I can call my new home. I am particularly looking for a place which is shared with only one (1) other person. Happy to come around any time so we can get to know each other.
I am an English girl. 23, travelling Australia. I am looking for a short-term room to rent from 22nd aug for two months I am easy going and tidy but looking for somewhere with my own space too (private room). I am looking to rent a room located in/or close to bondi area
Im currently living in Warracknabeal Victoria, but am moving to Sydney in about a month to begin my new career as a child care educator. I'm very easy going, friendly, fun, chilled out and a tidy person. I like my own space but also am always up for hanging out, going out, having a drink or watching a bit of Netflix.
I work in the aged and community sector in Sydney. I'm reliable, communicative, have my own transport and I like sharing with others. I clean up after myself and I am a pretty good cook :) My move out date is early November, so I am seeing what is out there and jumping in early to save the hassle closer to the date. At this point in time I'm considering sublets, short/long term accommodation from November-January, as i have a long term rental lined up.
Hey! My name is Tereza and I’m soon moving to study and work in Sydney from Czech Republic. I already studied in Canada, where I have been in homestay. So I do have previous experience with living abroad and sharing a place to live with people of multiple nationalities and all walks of life. Experience suggests respect and honesty are essential, so let me tell a bit about my preferences. Overall I like my personal space clean and organized (little bit of OCD, haha), so I tend to get best along with people of similar preference. I’m fun but an introvert (INTJ), never party and don’t smoke/have pets/have children. I don’t get along well with loud, party loving, unorganized people I lead healthy, minimalistic lifestyle, and like open spaces, my own personal space and dislike clutter Own (semi)furnished room would be preferred, the closer to center and train the better. My budget is $300/w (including bills). Fast internet is a big plus for me! Happy to answer any questions! :)
Hey guys! My name is Claire, I'm a full-time Fine Art/Environmental Humanities student at UNSW, working part-time. I’m an ex-country kid who is clean, respectful and super easy going. I’m vego but I can still make a mean chicken roast and I have a bunch of indoor plants too, if that’ll sweeten the deal. I’m looking for a laaarge, sunny bedroom in a relaxed house (bonus points if you’re herb friendly). Preferably close to transport as I work in the city and go to uni on the Paddington campus. While I am an art student, I’m not messy and the majority of my practical work is done at my studio space. I also have a free-standing 160L tank of tropical fish (which I can burden my family with, if needed) and a two little rats, Nala and Dada, who are super adorable, clean and friendly! If you're interested in living with me (us) or have any questions at all, feel free to send me a message and I'd love to meet you! - Claire
Easy going and friendly guy. Work in IT, bit of an all round geek. Love going outside and exploring. Into my movies, music, tech and photography. Homewise, like to keep all communal areas clean and respectful of noise For the most part I need to stay within my specified locations and ideally looking for a large room.
Hi I am a professional female, Food technologist, working full time as an Account manager in the food industry. I am clean, tidy, easy going and friendly. I respect people, I try to eat healthily and I go to the gym a couple of times a week. I am looking for somewhere to stay 3 months and I might stay more till a year. I am flexible for moving date, anytime between 25th of August till 8th of September is fine.
I’m 28 year old, easy going Finnish girl looking for a private room close to the city. I’m coming to study travel and tourism management in PTG. I don’t smoke or have pets. Ocean or water close by are a big plus! Whatsapp messages are the best way to contact! 😊
I'm ideally looking for a studio apartment but am equally happy to live with someone else providing the place is big enough. I enjoy socialising with friends, exercising (when i can be bothered!) and all the normal stuff people do. I do like having time to myself when living with someone but will equally enjoy kicking back and having a few glasses of wine with someone as well! I'm very respectful and considerate of the person i am living with, keeping the place tidy and also not being noisy in anti social hours
i have just moved to Australia from Singapore in June after travelling for 4 months. I work as an IT professional Central. I am a chilled out guy just looking for a cosy space to call his own 😊. I'll respect your space but wouldn't mind catching up for a bevvie or 2 now and again.
Hey! I'm Grace, a 27 year old American who moved here this week from Hawaii to Sydney for work. My software sales job relocated me permanently August 14th. I am currently staying at an airBNB in CBD, but it's clear to me after living here for two days that I need to be near the beach. I love hiking, surfing and am a big adrenaline junkie. I spend all my free time time outdoors. I get drinks with friends on the weekends, but not much during the week because I'd rather be active. I am very outgoing and friendly. I'd be psyched to find a roommate who wants adventure or grab drinks rather than just an acquaintance. I am very clean and would prefer an apartment where no one smokes.
I'd like to find someone to "START A NEW" flat/house share with and happy to wait it out till I find that lovely place I'm looking for with that great person I'm yet to meet! I'd like to team up with someone who wants to be close to the water i.e. Rose Bay, Vauclause or somewhere similar in the Eastern Suburbs. I'm looking for a 2 bed, 2 bath, LUG and a decent balcony or outdoor area that has a NORTHERLY aspect. In other words, I'm really looking for a NICE place to call home for the Long-Term but you don't have to be, minimum 6 months for you would be fine with me too. While I'm looking to team-up in a new place, I am open to sharing an existing place if you've just started one and need a bit of furniture to get started that would be cool too!!! I work quietly from home on the computer during the day and dance the night away 3 or 4 or 5 nights a week :) I like to take a break during the day and go for a walk or a swim so I'm looking for somewhere I can do that. When I'm not working or dancing I love to get to the beach, I love to swim laps in the ocean baths and take walks in the beautiful national parks in and around Sydney. Some of my other interests are Sailing, Music (I'm a frustrated musician) I love anything to do with the water so snorkeling, kayaking, etc etc are all things I love to do. I love all things Latin and have a passion for Latin music and dance. I'm well travelled, a bit of an adventurer, my last decent trip was backpacking my way solo through 6 countries in South America for 3 months, I love a good laugh and enjoy the company of people from all over the world. My Ideal flatmate would be someone who's not too serious or a complete recluse. It'd be nice to enjoy the occasional coffee or a vino and a chat from time to time as friends or even go out and do "stuff" together if we have some similar interests but I'm also happy and independent and enjoy getting out and about and doing my own thing too. Male or Female, young or old, it doesn't matter to me, I'm gregarious, open minded, non judgemental, and just seem to naturally get on with everyone. Just looking for someone with an upbeat and friendly personality to have a friendly and nice vibe at home where we would both be socially aware, sensitive to and respectful of each others need for privacy and down time and comfortable enough with each other to really feel completely at ease and really feel 'AT HOME'. I'm not full blown OCD but I do like to keep the place neat and tidy and clean. I leave the place clean and tidy after I've used things and I particularly like to leave the bathroom, living area and especially the kitchen clean for the next person to use and would like to team up with someone who does the same. Weekends I like to get out and about as much as possible especially when the weather is gorgeous outside. I'm out several nights a week dancing so there'd be plenty of opportunity to have the place all to yourself to relax, unwind and enjoy when you get home from work and I often take trips away to visit my family on the mid north coast or over in Perth for a week or two at a time. I'm really looking for a place that offers lifestyle, that could be the Eastern Suburbs or anywhere that is close to the beach and or ocean baths suitable for swimming laps (must be walkable distance) I'm also open to other beachy suburbs that are not too far away i.e. Manly Ideally the apartment would be light and bright and open with a northerly aspect, two bathrooms, main with a separate bath tub, built in robes, storage space, LUG and a decent sized balcony or outside area for relaxing. It'd be wonderful to find someone looking for the same things in the same area and I'm really excited to meet you!
I'm a sculptor, photographer and I work as a freelance photographers assistant. I have my own workshop in greensquare so won’t be making a mess at home. I'm hetero, a bit deaf and wear hearing aids. I'm fairly quiet and have been told i'm very easy to live with. I have lived in a number of different share houses and remain good friends with many of my previous flatmates. I'm happy to socialise and will respect your belongings and space. I'm pretty neat, I love to cook, listen to music, beer, wine and conversation. Im interested in art, theatre and Netflix binge sessions. Must be 420 & LGBTQI friendly as I have zero interest in living with people who don’t realise it’s the 21st century.
