Hi there, My name is Karvya :) I currently work in marketing. I consider myself an easy going, laid back person. I enjoy anything and everything food, art and nature related. At the moment, I'm hoping to find a place to move into in Jan 2018. I consider a home to be a sanctuary, and I'm looking to live with like-minded people who think the same :) Cheers
Hello hello, An ocean being here chasing a private room in a shared house. I study Journalism at UTS and when I am not annoying the public with that I enjoy watching art house films, touching everything and anything at markets, surfing, and having a groove to some live music. I have lived in a plethora of shared houses so I know how to respect people's space and plants; and lucky for you I am quite the avid cleaner. See you soon! Thanksss
I am a 25 year old from California on the Working Holiday Visa. I have been travelling for the past 7 months in Australia and am ready to make Sydney my home for a few months. I like to stay active with running, yoga, and spin. I am a total foodie and always enjoy checking out new restaurants, exploring the city, and going out for a drink with friends. I look forward to summer in Sydney to soak up some sun at the beach. I plan on working an office job in recruiting/admin with full time hours so I will have a consistent schedule and stay fairly busy during the week.
Hello, My name is Sara, I m 25 and I come from Reunion Island ( french territory ). After my studies I decided to come in Australia to learn english. In France and in Belgium I did 3 sharehouse and in Austalia I lived with a lot of people in different accomodations. I love live with different people, discover new cultures, share moments. I like hike, go at the beach and party. I m easy going and tidy. Hope to see you soon :)
I`m an easy going, tidy guy, nonsmoker and organised. I work 6 days a week and because of that, I tend to sleep early, about 9h - 10hpm. I don`t bother with noise, only in extreme cases with high noises.
Hello future or prospective flatmate :) I am moving from Brisbane to Sydney next year to begin my graduate program in professional services in February 2018, aiming to move by mid January, I will be working in the city full time and most likely working alot of over time during the week. I will be graduating with a Laws/Business Bachelors from the University of Queensland. I am very well traveled, a very positive and happy person, you will rarely see me without a smile on my face, and importantly I am incredibly easy to get along with ,very friendly and respectful .Plus, I'm tiny so I hardly take up any room. I pride myself on always being clean, tidy and organised. I love being social and going out but I am not a rowdy party goer by any means, I value peace and quiet, but I am easily the type of roommate you can have a drink with, go out for dinners/brunch and explore the city with. I am super friendly so you can have a chat with me about anything and everything. I value privacy and quietness but it would be nice to have a roommate that that is up for hanging out. In my free time, I will probably be out socialising with my friends, catching up on my work, shopping, doing pilates /yoga and exploring Sydney. I am looking for a flat mate who is: -Wanting to live in a nice apartment in the city close to public transport -In their 20s or early 30s -A full time working professional or the like -Places importance on cleanliness -Values having a nice quiet and relaxing place to come home to If you think we will be a roomie match made in heaven, please message me, I look forward to hearing from you 🙂
Hey guys, I'm a yoga teacher looking to move back to my old neighbourhood. I lived in Mcmahons point for a good while before moving to western sydney for a year. When I'm not yoga-ing, I am studying my masters and working a corporate job. I like reading, movies, and being out and about near the water. Im awesome to live with because I love to cook for people!
Hi, I am an easy going and a friendly person who likes traveling, occasional drinking, Netflix, eating out. I am comfortable sharing a room with anyone who is clean and tidy. I am respectful to others and have a good sense of humour. Let me know if we can be friends :)
I am a 19 year old easy going, respectful Australian/Latvian student at unisyd(studying history; everything and anything starting from the french rev.) I’m very independent and don’t like drama. Won’t be home a lot as I will be working part-time, studying in a library, hitting the gym or playing volleyball. But in those rare times when I’m free always up for a vino, fam dinner and binge watching a good tv show(got is on top of my list). Very chilled and accepting of everyone. Hope to see you soon!
I'm a 27-year-old immigration lawyer from Brisbane who will be working full-time in Sydney CBD. I have a ten-month old kitten Mimo who is fully toilet-trained (never had an accident with her toilet habits) and the most affectionate cat you will ever meet. I love cats and would expect my housemates to be mammal-friendly. (You don't necessarily have to be cat-friendly, as I have had numerous friends who considered themselves "dog people" instantly fall in love with Mimo when they stayed over at my place. My current housemate of 1.5 years in Brisbane is also one of them!) As I have a busy work life, I prefer time to myself to relax after work. I care a lot about maintaining a quiet household and environment. I prefer gated apartments and accommodation that is ideally not carpeted. Your place would also ideally not have leather couches or anything leather that you care about; or if you do, be open to my putting a couch cover on it at my expense. Whilst Mimo has always been trained not to scratch anything other than her cat tree and scratch toys, she can leave the occasional faint marks on the leather surface when she prances around. I am friendly, considerate, will respect your personal space and expect the same from others. As my work is extremely hectic, I am keen to share a house or apartment with heavy sleepers who are considerate with limiting noise between 11pm and 8am on weekdays. I would not mind occasional chats and drinks on the weekends. My move-in date will have to fall on 1 January 2017. I am on the lookout for a six-month lease. My boyfriend may join me in April 2017 and we are happy to pay for a couple's rate for the room from then on. If he does not join me, I will be happy to extend beyond the six months if the house is great as Mimo (my cat) does not enjoy moving. I do not drive so I would like to find a place that is within 10 minutes' walk from the train station.
I'm an easygoing Kiwi girl moving over to Sydney in early Dec-2017. I will be working full-time in the city but am equally happy helping out with household chores or sticking around for a chat (or wine. Both are great). Whilst being available for a kitchen yarn, I give people space and would very much appreciate the same. Looking for somewhere close to public transport into the city. Am not into parties or drugs and that sort of lifestyle. Would prefer a female-only household. Very conscientious about paying bills on time and pulling my own weight when it comes to chores, but will laugh at all your jokes (or most of them. Appreciate a good pun). Am looking to move in with a friend sometime in Feb-2018/Mar-2018 but this is flexible and not super confirmed.
Hi I am Emma. I am super easy going, love to have a laugh, pretty fun although I don't drink much I am still social. I am tidy and respectful of people's space. I am working in a preschool on St Leonards and am also a yoga instructor. During the week I'm pretty busy working 45+ hours and I dance and do yoga after work.
My partner James and I are young professionals, 23 and 24, currently living in Kensington. I'm American and work as a teacher while studying for my master's, and he is a Kiwi in management consulting. Our favorite things to do at home are playing board/card games and cooking dinner together. We'd love a house where we are friends with the roommates and can go for walks or hikes together, out for meals, or just settle in for movies. We've both lived with flatmates for the past several years, though, and have always gotten along well whether as close friends or just respectful neighbors. James travels weekly so is only around on weekends, and I work mostly afternoons and evenings.
Hi! My name is Heather. I'm 24 and I'm originally from London, UK. I am a solicitor and am working in Sydney for the next couple of years. My working hours are long so I'm generally out of the house during the week, but when I have a spare evening and at weekends, I'll be looking to get involved with and explore everything that Sydney has to offer, and hope I can find flatmate(s) who are young professionals looking to do the same, or who want to do more than just co-exist with their flat sharers! I love running, fitness and clean eating, and am always on the lookout for a gym buddy (but not to the point where I'd forego a glass of wine or a quiet night in watching Netflix). I've lived away from home since I was 17 (both on my own and in shared accommodation) so I understand what it takes to be respectful of other people's property and personal space.
Hi, I'm a French guy looking for a furnished room with its own bathroom, in a modern and fully equiped apartment/complex close to public transport and shops. On/off street parking would be ideal. My budget is $350 maximum, all bills included. I'm a clean, tidy, responsible and sociable person looking for like-minded flatmate(s). Cheers ! Alex
DECEMBER OR JANUARY Hi I'm Anita. I am currently in Paddington, Brisbane. I have been offered a full time position with a well known construction company in Sydney, hence the move. I will need to move to Sydney at the start of next year preferably before the 3rd of January. About me At home I'm neat and tidy but I'm not affected by other peoples preferences. I like to cook as much as I can and try to get to yoga a few times a week. When I get home from work I like to relax, listen to some music, watch some Netflix, go for a walk or skateboard, occasionally I'll have a beer. On the weekends I like to be out and about, get social.. but sometimes I get the home bug. My sister would be an expected visitor for the weekend every now and then as she lives in Canberra and I would be her closest family. We're very friendly and I have no doubt you'll like her. I'm also hoping my best friend from the Gold Coast will visit when she can too. I like the lifestyle I have here in Paddington so I'm hoping to land in a similar area in Sydney. I like being able to walk to a cafe or walk to pilates. Housemates: I am hoping to have friends at home, like minded people who are chill and easy going. I would prefer more mature housemates as the party house vibe isn't for me. I would like people who are employed and financially stable. I'm a very accepting person and like meeting different people. Flick me a message if you have an offer. Thanks Anita
