Hi! I'm Sarah, Ive been in Sydney for half a year now and I'm relocating for a work opportunity. Advantages: - fully competent in domestic safety and hygiene - fully adulting in upkeep of financial responsbilities - considerate to live with... ...if any grown-ups have been doing this houseshare thing for a long time, such as I, sometimes you just need examples of who your prospective housemate truly is and let that speak to how compatible you would be. No one enjoys having to suss out a stranger while showing them around their place. Some vignettes in Sarah's houseshare style: Your mother/sister/cousin/granny is coming to stay with you. You have never before asked Sarah, your new housemate. She responds with an "Off course, mother/sister can stay as long she wants. I'm away, does she need my bed?" Your "new friend" is "coming over". Sarah gives you a knowing wink and nothing more needs to be said. You enjoy netflix but haven't got a log in. Sarah has plenty to spare, and she will only be amused if it suddenly starts suggesting vampire related television (true story). You left one or two dishes on the side in a hurry, Sarah cleans it up because you are otherwise pretty darn clean and hygienic. You have had a crappy day/ exhausting day (*delete as appropriate*) . Sarah will sit down and share her food with you / understand if you go straight to bed (*delete as appropriate*). You realise your are out of pasta when you have just bought all the ingredients for spaghetti bolognese. Sarah does not mind that you have some of hers without asking as you are not a habitual pantry thief. You are planning a party on Saturday night, Sarah thinks this is a great idea! You are planning another three weeks later, but you reschedule for the following week as Sarah has a very early shift the next day (mutual adulting). You have been away for two weeks and it is now time to split the bills. You and Sarah split them in half. My own bathroom is only a must if you know in your heart-of-hearts your bathroom hygiene is not A+.
I am a 27 year old full time professional and part time student. Gay. Work rotating rosters , shift work and most weekends. Very easy going and social. Clean and tidy. Love to cook. Up for a drink and a yarn, though respect privacy of everyone I live with. Hoping to find a decent sized room with a built in. Some kind of view would be a plus. And off street parking would be brilliant. My plans are quite up in the air at the moment, I don't need to move from my current place until mid September so my 'Move in' date is quite vague and flexible.
Hi! I'm a friendly, easy-going, quiet guy. Not a party animal (those days are past) - but I like music, podcasts and unwinding with Netflix or a movie. I've recently returned from 6 years overseas, and am looking to set myself up in Sydney. I'm currently looking for work and am likely to be starting study soon. I'm responsible, tidy(ish) and a half-decent cook.
I'm a mature quiet and tidy professional who travels for business, and relocated from Brisbane to Sydney due to work commitments 6 months ago. Except for dinner parties, I'm not into house parties. I'm looking for share accommodation for initially 6 months and longer if the place is suitable, with 1 or 2 mature professional people of either gender. I don't mind living with pets but prefer cats..Room can be either furnished or unfurnished. Maximum of $300 including or excluding any outgoings. I would like something in any of the surrounding areas of Abbortsford, Concord, Newington, but am flexible with this and would consider further out if the place was right. I would also prefer off street parking if possible. I'm quiet, tidy, easy going, non smoker, non TV addict, who enjoys good conversation, respectful of others, and will pull my weight with household chores, including sharing the cost of groceries and cooking. In addition to other activities, I enjoy going to the markets, eating out on weekends and the movies.
I'm Amanda and I've been in Sydney since the beginning of march and in 15th of July my boyfriend Erick is coming to join me discovering Sydney!! We are a outgoig and peacefull couple from Brazil, who likes to enjoy the outdoor life and know new places, people and cultures. We'r looking for a nice place with good people to live with and have enjoyable moments!!
I've lived with other people since uni days and know what it takes to be a very good flatemate. I like cool funny people, coffee, art, architecture, reading deep and meaningful articles and making good jokes. I don't like assholes, inconsiderate people, dirty communal areas and smelly bins. My friends describe me as funny, fun and creative. I am an architect by trade and I've also been a photographer.

I will be traveling late June to late August, will need a place when I get back. =) I am a pretty fun and social girl, I like exploring all that Sydney has to offer.

Hey! I'm Marc I'm 26 and I'm a fully qualified mechanic from the UK/Scotland. I'm about to start work at the Mercedes Benz dealership in Rushcutters bay. I imagine I'll be fairly busy during the week working 8-4 Monday to Friday, so I'm looking for somewhere that I can come home to and chill out and relax. Currently in staying in edgecliff at a hotel so I'm looking for a place ideally as quickly as possible, hotels are nice but they don't have the homely feel and help to settle down. I'm a clean and tidy guy and back home in the uk I spent most nights down at my local gym and attending a few classes of mixed martial arts, I'm hoping to continue this here in Sydney aswell. Very open to exploring the city, beaches and any other things I don't know too much about, very easy to get along with and fairly laid back and hopefully find someone in the house who can improve my cooking skills! If you have any questions please don't hesitate too send them to me, I'll respond as quick as I can.
Hi, my names Mourad and looking for shared accomodation. I work as a professional within the Insurance industry during business hours Monday to Friday. I am a clean, respectful, non judgemental, down to earth guy. In my spare time I enjoy watching my TV Series and movies.
Love dogs more than humans I think although don't have my own. I am a Solicitor and can work long hours although love down time with few beers with housemates. Love going out for dinner and drinks and dance. Like to be neat and tidy in common areas of house althoug not clean freak.
I am moving from India to Australia. I keep to myself and mind my own business, so like to live in a quite place that reciprocates my way of living. I have worked in IT for more than 15 years. Plan to find an employment in similar field in Australia; but also inclined to change my career. Have plans to take up uber driving, until I find a steady job. I am looking for a studio or a one bed apartment. It should be self-contained, in the sense; have a private bathroom and kitchen. Washer / dryer for the cloths is also required.
Honest, reliable, empathetic, compassionate, considerate ,artistic yet practical, animal lover -ALL incl insects- non judgemental ( I hope ), good sense of humour, reasonable and reasonable culinary skills (Still learning), an altruist with misanthropic leanings and obviously quite humble :) Ps; Trying very hard to quit the gaspers!
Just moved to Sydney and looking for semi-temp accommodation until I decide where is best to live permanently. Can cook, tidy, quiet, self employed to an extent so my work timing is flexible. Respectful and very easy going.
Work full time 9-5 Grew up in North Sydney Active Sociable Friendly Respectful Ready to move in now
Hey whoever is viewing this! I'm Filip and I'm moving to Sydney from Melbourne in the coming week or so and as such I need a place to live (I'm really not looking forward to living out of my car, despite its amazing "comfort features" the guy at the car yard told me about). I'll be working Monday to Friday long hours so you'll mostly have me home in the evenings. I'm sociable but like to have some "me" time as well. I'm an awesome cook and love to cook for others and always clean up after myself. I'm super keen about the move and would like to get to know some new people aka housemates. Cheers.
Hey! My name is Mikaela and I work full time in the animal care industry. I enjoy adventuring and exploring the local area with friends but also need my own space at times. I foster animals which means I have different pets from time to time, never for a long period which keeps it interesting! I usually have dogs and puppies but may also bring home kittens every now and then. If you love cuddling animals I am the housemate you need!! I have lived in houseshares before and am both clean and respectful (and also fun!) Please contact me if a lot of puppies in your life doesn't scare you!!
Hi, I'm a teacher looking for a sharehouse ideally with one or two people around the same age. I'm pretty chilled and quiet through the week. Weekends I'll either be visiting family or friends, going out for dinner or a few drinks, love to get out to the beach or walks exploring places. Would love a place that feels like home and somewhere I can bring friends around every now and then to hang out. Would love some flatmates that are happy to have a chat and sit and watch a movie or something every so often, but also appreciate and respect personal space.
Hi I'm Zoe, a 23 year old student at Macquarie Uni. I work in Chatswood and just looking for somewhere close enough to live to both. Would be preferable to live with people of a similar age that are friendly and clean.
Group of friends, studying full-time Bachelor Degree's and all working part-time.
Hi all, I work full time in Silverwater and am looking to move into a place closer to work as soon as possible. I am a creature of habit, so I gym every morning, go to work, and come home to a movie and wine. On the weekends I enjoy going out with friends occasionally if Im not too exhausted from a week at work. Simplicity is key, so i'm most definitely a tidy person.
Graphic designer and videographer. Originally from Brazil and lived in Australia for four years, planning to stay here. I'm generally pretty quiet and very tidy and don't spend much time at home. In saying this, I am also up for new friends and sharing a beer on the weekends! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm a project manager working in the city for a property development company. Just been relocated to Sydney after a 2 year stint in Hobart, safe to say I'm happy to be back. Looking for a flat/house share to help out the bank account, making some new friends would be a bonus. I'm neat, easy going, good cook, usually up for a beer or wine over dinner. Not many people I can't get along with. I work long hours and am likely to be doing some travel in the coming months, might not see much of me during this time. Look forward to chatting and maybe living together. Cheers, Alex
Originally from Taiwan, I have been living in Sydney for almost 4 yrs, recently graduated from uni and now working 9-5 professional. I am very easy going, enjoy hanging out and meeting new people but sometimes I enjoy stay at home and cooking as well. Like to enjoy a couple of wines with housemates and have a little chat but I also like to have my own space :)
I am a very friendly open minded person always looking to make new friends, but life keeps me very busy with studies and work. Living with different people will be an awesome experience and help me find more friends.
Hey, im great company, i dont get awkward . I love a beer and a good red. I think we should have family dinners on a sunday. I work 6 days a week. Either i play soccer on sundays or i head up north for the weekend. Cheers, Regards jake
We are quiet, responsible and reliable couple looking for accommodation preferably close to work in Ashfield. We are happy to supply rental references or a rental history. We are friendly but also like our own space, are not party people, clean and tidy and like to be organised. In our spare time we like to go camping, climbing, gardening and exploring.
Clean, tidy and respectful. I'm a young woman from Adelaide, looking for a private room in a nice place, not too far from the city. I work casually in Moore Park. I enjoy socialising and doing fun things like cooking something tasty, or going on an adventure and I also enjoy my own space.
I'm a very easy-going, clean and tidy person. I'm a full time vet nurse, currently working mostly nights. I'm pretty social and often up for a chat but also like my own space and am respectful of others. In my free time I like traveling, scuba diving, relaxing on the beach and binge watching netflix. I'm looking to move in with like-minded people. I come with a big, beautiful, very lazy K9 so I need to move in with people who have a mutual love for dogs and have a property that is dog friendly with a decent sized yard.
