Hello Everyone, My name is Steven, and I’m moving to Perth in two weeks. I am a postgrad student from University of Edinburgh that will be working with the ARC Center of Excellence for Coral Studies for three months. I plan to stay from May 9th to August 9th. And so I am looking for a place to stay in Perth. I will spend much of my time reading or working in the lab at UWA. I'm friendly with everyone. Laid back. I am no partier, and I keep myself and my surroundings clean and organized. I don't smoke or partake in drugs. I'm also LGBT friendly of course. Let me know what you think! Hobbies: Anything outdoors, I like hang gliding, hiking, being on the water, scuba diving, etc Would trying new foods and wine be a hobby? I'm about that too. Cheers, Steven Carrion
I'm relocating to Perth and looking for a furnished room in a sharehouse :) I'm a 28 year old female, employed full time. I'm a down to earth, easy going gal with a great sense of humour. I've worked in customer service for most of my working life, so I'm very much a people person. I work for a bank (Tues-Sat, 38 hours a week), I have been with the bank for almost a year now. Prior to this I have always held full time jobs. I'm a person that likes to socialise occasionally, but I also enjoy having time to myself. I cook for and clean up after myself, and contribute to keeping all shared living spaces clean and tidy. In my spare time I like to read, watch movies, listen to music or go to gigs/festivals, go exploring (as I'll be new to the area I'll be doing a LOT of exploring on my weekends), and exercise. I have excellent rental references/rental history, and can also provide personal references.
Looking for a clean place with people with an active lifestyle who enjoy socializing, and respectful to rest of the housemates. I'm from Houston, Texas and have been living in Perth for 4 years. I play heeps of different sports and always interested in trying something new.
Hey! Both Sam and I are from the UK and we have working holiday visas for Australia, our flight gets to Perth on 03/05/17! We are hoping to find jobs in Perth and settle there for a few months before moving onto the East coast, but we are very flexible. We're both very happy, fun, tidy, considerate and caring people. We are very active and enjoy nights out and socialising, but at the same time we also enjoy staying in and relaxing with a book or a film. We are looking to meet and hopefully share a place with other people also experiencing a similar journey to us! Feel free to contact/message me via Facebook, just type Caris O'Toole and you will find me. :)
hey there, I'm Brenda, 23 yo from germany and in australia for my working holiday. I'm a very easy going, funny and social person. I laugh a lot and I'm very positive, but I can also be quiet and need my private time. I'm very tidy and uncomplicated. I don't smoke and only drink in chilled atmosphere. I'm not an every weekend party person. I'm in perth for working and will stay until 1 of oct. I'd like to have a good time during my stay in perth, with funny roommates who are up for a glas of wine in the kitchen after work.
I am super clean and tidy and respectful. usually quiet and busy doing my own stuff and study but don't mind to share a drink or meal with housemate on the weekend a postgraduate student in UWA, originally from Taiwan, been a backpacker in east coast and stayed in Sydney for 3 years, can speak a bit Japanese and of course fluent Mandarin and English love similar age mature people :)
I'm a graphic designer so love creativity and happy people. I'm not much of a party goer but so long as there is notice for the rowdy nights I'll be fine. Work in the city doing design and retail 2 days a week for secure rent. I like my kitchens and bathrooms tidy so that's a plus too. Can move out almost whenever depending on the house and preferred stay is adjustable :) If I find a great place I'd like to stay longer.
Me and my friend are in our twenties. We're friendly, quiet, clean and responsible. I'm currently working as a courier and plan to study Building Design next semester at TAFE. We are looking for a third person to team up with.
I'm a Master's of Counselling student, and moved to Perth roughly 1.5 years ago. I'm friendly, and I enjoy being around trees and nature. Originally from Germany :) but lived in Singapore a number of years, so travelling is one thing that I really enjoy too.I go to the gym in my spare time, hang out with my friends, read, cook, splurge on shopping, the usual stuff really. I need a place to move into ASAP and hopefull arrange for viewings this weekend. I love animals by the way, so if you have pets, I'm happy with that.
27 yo professional female working full time in the city. I live a healthy, active lifestyle. Monday to Friday I'm at work and then the gym so rarely home. Only interested in private bedroom with own bathroom or ensuite. Not fussy on location, as long as the city is accessible by public transport to get to and from work. Flexible with move in date.
Hi guys! I'm looking for a new place to call home for me and my 4-legged companion, Rove. About me: I'm 23 years old and have not long gotten back from 18 months of travelling. I love sport, music and anything outdoors. Even if it's just taking the dog to the beach or having a few drinks and a bit, I'm always up for it. I bring with me bad jokes and quality banter. About Rove: Rove is a very loving and happy two year old Kelpie X. Of course being a Kelpie, he is very excited and has lots of energy but usually knows when to settle down. We spend lots of time at the beach or out walking so he's well behaved at home. He is happy enough spending his time outside and gets along with other dogs and cats. He's a lot of fun to have around and really just wants to be your best friend! He has a surprisingly good mark of the footy. I am looking for a new home, not just a room in a house :)
Student of English, Sports and French at UWA. I'm an open-minded, creative, friendly, respectful, person who loves the outdoors, fun events/ activities/ trips, music, coffee and good food. (My mother tongue is German.) Generally open for any kind of accommodation type.
I'm a cheerful presence who is very clean. I love being social but also appreciate my space. I've lived out of home for over a year and am very familiar with the lifestyle. I've been known to be a helpful and cooperative housemate. Love a good laugh, I don't take myself too seriously !
My name is Marine and I am a French archaeologist moving to Perth in aim to do my PhD at UWA. I am a chatty and funny person who likes to meet new people and socialise, thus I am not the type of roomy who stays locked into her room (even if it could happen sometimes when I will have deadlines with the PhD ;p) I am quite organised and tidy and I like to let the place clean. I also like to do things all together like cooking and "prendre un apéro" ( French expression for an after work beer plus snacks) at home or outside. I like to go climbing, swimming and hiking and love to listen to music (but not too loud, don't be scared). I thing that sharing a house is the best way to socialise and discover a place and enjoy at your best your time in a foreign country (moreover when you are so far away from friends and family). I look forward to meet you future house/flatmate(s) ! Caution: I will arrive in Perth the 17th of May but I will stay there only for 1 month before going up North for few months. I am in search for a ONE MONTH accommodation from the half of May to mid June (and it is starting to be an emergency). I will look for a steady, long term accommodation around August.
Hi there ! I'm Maya, a 21 years old female on exchange from Paris until next July studying social sciences. I'm looking for a place from end of April with my boyfriend Alex ! He's from Perth, a 23 years old full-time carer and has a degree in pharmacology. We're both easy going and not super demanding, we just want a nice place not far from UWA and not too far from the beach !
I am creative, friendly and love a good laugh. I enjoy spending time outdoors and I creating new dishes in the kitchen (that require taste testing). I am highly respectful of other people, and of their property. I am looking for a place that is relaxing, peaceful and close to the ocean.
I am a Brazilian girl new to Perth on a sponsorship work visa (even though this is my second time in Australia, I lived first in Sydney, NSW, 3 years ago). I am an easy-going graphic designer who enjoys a friendly place where people communicate with one another with no prejudices or passive-agressiveness to call it a home. Also love all things art, nature and animals.
Hello everyone! My boyfriend, Thomas, and I are looking for a place to live in Perth. I think that our best selling point is our story! So here it goes: Thomas and I met at Sziget festival (in Budapest) 1.5 years ago. I fell for his dark eyes, very thick French accent (you'll see!), his humor and his smile. I have no idea what he saw in me, but it might have something to do with the fact that I walked in a bikini all day. Or it might have something to do with my Dutch accent, who knows. Yes yes, we're originally from France and The Netherlands and have been doing the long distance thing ever since we met. Australia is an opportunity for us to be together for more than 2 days a month. Thomas will be studying and working and I'll be working (preferably in my field of work, deaf education). We absolutely love dogs (and cheese)! And unfortunately, my allergies (and hatred, sorry) make it impossible for me to live with cats. Thomas pretty much loves all animals, and humans for that matter. We're both people-people and like to be surrounded by them. We're arriving the 1st of August and we're planning to stay for at least 6 months and possibly even more than a year. This all depends on how it goes with Thomas' study, our job search and on how awesome Perth is. As long as it's affordable, we don't care whether we share a house or live by ourselves. We do prefer a private bathroom if possible. The area isn't that important either as long as it's not too far from the city center and in a safe neighborhood. If you have something for us, or you'd like to team up, please contact us :).
