Hi! I'm a 34 year old English teacher and quality assurance manager from Iran. I'm going to be seeking a job and settle in Australia for an indefinite length of time My planned date of arrival is May, 7. I'm sociable, athletic and outgoing (takes time to break the ice). Disciplined, neat and interested in having evening drinks with friends. Love to hang out with friendly nice people.
I’m 18, super tidy, and respectful! I work part time as a waitress/bartender and will be starting uni mid year. I’m super easy going and enjoy fashion, watching movies, shopping, coffee dates, and spontaneous adventures! Looking for a room in a house full of super chilled out, open minded people! Preferably all gals! Bonus if you fancy a glass of wine!
I am a 23 yr old male young professional, also wrapping up studies at uni. My girlfriend is a 21 yr old female, studying full time at university. We are a joyful, dedicated but relaxed couple looking to rent **TWO ROOMS**. We love a few drinks occassionally but are focused on getting our work done. If one of the two rooms were to be available before and the other after, that is not a problem as we do not need to move in at the same time. Would love it if one of the two rooms was an ensuite but thats not a requirement. A bit of flexibility with furnishing is preferable as my girlfriend would potentially like to accommodate her double bed. A safe neighbourhood, locks on doors and decent dedicated housemates are a MUST. Availability of parking on the property would be important as we have one car but on street parking (in a safe area) can be accommodated. Please get in touch if you can propose a place similar to these requirements. Happy to team up with fellow room hunters with similar requirements! Look forward to hearing from you soon :)
Hi there :) My name is Claire, I’m 28 and relocating from the UK to Adelaide to start work in a few weeks time! This will be my first time in Australia and I am looking for a flat share with 1-2 other females. I enjoy the gym, shopping and a glass of wine! I am looking for like minded females to flat share with and to experience all that Australia has to offer!!
Originally from Melbourne, moved to Adelaide for work! I’m a fairly down to earth and quite guy, don’t do much apart from work and training at the gym, in my down time I’m basically just relaxing or listening to music, but always up for a decent chat with the right people!
I’m a 30 year old, does that count as young or old I’m not sure - mid range. LEts go with that. I’m looking for a room for 6-9 months, I do have a beautiful kitty with me, Sylvester. He is my life and don’t really want to part with him. I’m more an introvert, so I keep to myself. I’m a big gamer, go to the gym 5 times a week, eat healthy, vegetarian (won’t push my reasons onto you, I love love lamb and bacon but I have my reasons) if you think we would be good housemates hit me up! Looking to move in the next few weeks
I am an Engineer that has been relocated to Adelaide from Melbourne. I am employed full time Mon-Fri with the odd Sat here and there. I've been living out of a suitcase for the past 2 years so I'm fairly independent when it comes to living away from home. Don't let that scare you though as when I'm not working I love to kick back and am easy going. I'm a big sports fan and regularly go to events.
I am mature age with own furniture. Unfortunately my art deco "heritage listed" home of the last 10 years has been knocked down and I have to find a place for myself and possessions. (I can't do without my big screen TV's, computer equipment or 16 drawer office furniture, but can put the rest in storage if need be). I am single, have references spanning many years and would like to view properties pending initial chat/conversation. I would prefer to live quietly in a home with privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Please let me know of a time agreeable to discuss possibilities. Kind Regards, Michael .
Hello future housemates, My name is Ali, I'm from Dubai, practically born and raised there but life is all about new chapters and I'm moving to Adelaide in mid July with my wife to start a new chapter. I'm a Marketing & Advertising professional and will be looking for a job in Adelaide. I've studied from the University of Wollongong, have great linguistic skills (actually know 5 languages), if you're interested you could probably learn a new language :) Ayesha is also from Dubai, born and raised there and was a BBA student before we decided to move cities. Hopefully once we are settled she'll continue her Bachelors degree in Adelaide. However before that she'll probably be looking for work and enjoys cooking. My wife and I love to keep things tidy and always clean up after ourselves, having said that we'll do the dishes, laundry, lean up the place, etc. I love sports, whether that's playing, watching or discussing, I also try to keep fit so you wont have a couch potato as a housemate, however Netflix and chill doesn't sound like such a bad idea. We enjoy getting to know new people and will ensure you are comfortable during our stay together. Having said that we can stay to ourselves and keep the volume down so wont get in your way if you prefer that. Either way respect is what matters most :) We are all in for a team-up and starting a new place, share the utilities expenses and what not. Look forward to hearing from you soon. :)
Hi there, I am currently employed as a Nursing Supervisor. I am relocating to Adelaide for employment in the cosmetics industry around Sept/Oct of this year with a view to moving into Adelaide, North Adelaide or the inner eastern suburbs. My employment will be in Norwood and ideally I would like to reside close to work. I am quite an active person. I swim twice a week, cycle and practice hot yoga regularly. I am a clean and tidy person without being annoying about it. I am generally a social and flexible house mate. I like to have a general plutonic chemistry with the person(s) I am living with, but am not keen to smother or be smothered by my housemates company. I don't mind the occasional party at home, but don't like to make it too frequent. I have a partner located in Melbourne so will likely have her stay over 1 weekend a month and will be travelling to Melbourne bi-monthly. I am willing to pay up to $350/wk rent with the expectation of renting a great pad with plenty of space. That said, I am looking for a professionally employed single housemate to share with. A couple is ok as long as the house/apartment is large enough to be comfortable for all with separate ensuites so we don't find ourselves tripping over one another in the morning rush.
Hi, my name is Chris. I am an honest, trustworthy, hard working and super clean young man that has lived in Mitcham most of my life. My schooling was at Scotch College so I am very familiar with the area and the south eastern suburbs in general. I am always willing to help out and contribute as much as possible to keep a positive living environment and I enjoy relaxing and having a few wines/beers on weekends. I think my level of cleanliness is well above the average person so rest assured I will keep and look after a home as if it were my very own. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any further questions or would just like to chat regarding team-ups for properties. Thank you :)
Hi, my name is Dalbir. Moved recently to Adelaide for work/study. I'm a full-time nurse and am also currently doing a post-graduate course at University as well - so that keeps me relatively occupied.
Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm 20 this year from Malaysia. I am currently finding for a room to share with my friend in Adelaide. I will be studying in the University of Adelaide so walking distance to the University would be more preferable.
On the hunt for a place to live and housemates to get to know. When I'm not pulling heavy hours at work I'm usually at the beach, the gym or the pub. I'm tidy and having lived in share houses since uni, know the ins and outs of being a housemate - paying the bills on time, hanging up bath mats etc etc. Let me know if I sound like the kind of guy you're after!
I am very chill and easygoing, and I keep things tidy. I will probably have my head down studying a lot of the time, but I love people and am certainly keen to socialise. I kind of just adapt to whatever the vibe is in the house, I like to socialise but I also don't mind spending time by myself if need be. I'm new to Adelaide from Perth, and I study Psychology at University of Adelaide. I like getting to know people, chatting about any topic, running & keeping fit, playing/writing music, and I like to get out in nature when I can. I'm not against the occasional social drink too.
Hi! We are Jenny and Jade, a couple from the UK. We are currently living in Adelaide CBD but our lease runs out at the end of June. We are looking for somebody or a couple to team up with, or to find an already made sharehouse! We would love to be situated nearish the city centre: Norwood, North Adelaide. Unley, Kent Town, the CBD are preferred. Jenny is a creative director and Jade is a cook at a cafe in the city. We are tidy, considerate, and easy going. We like all the usual things like travelling, going to the beach, music, movies, Netflix, and of course the occasional night out.
