My name is John, I'm a 29-year-old Scottish healthcare professional who has recently moved to Adelaide for work. I'm a coffee lover, vego foodie and enjoy good conversation. I'm into nature and the simple life. I've lived over 20 different people excluding family so I know the ropes of share houses. I have a contract until February 2020 so something longer term would suit but can also be flexible.
G'day! I'm a 22 year old bloke from the Mallee. I come from a long line of farmers and Christians. +Likes -Anything sporty -Exercise (Particularly swimming) -People -Don't mind some gaming occasionally -Relationships -Hugs -Jesus -Mangos -The country -Coffee and Red wine +Dislikes -Bad smells -Tomato -Not a huge fan of the city -Tomato -Isolation -Did I mention tomato? +Negatives of living with me -The cleanliness of my room reflects how life is going -I love people so quite often have friends over -I have long showers -I can be blunt (I try to be diplomatic about it) -I am very extroverted -I don't do dishes straight away -I really hate tomato -Somtimes forget I'm in the city and make loud noises +Positives of living with me -I keep public areas clean (except sink) -I quite often go back to my parents so I won't always be there -I am normally pretty good at fixing things -Can often acquire cuts of lamb from the parents and may be able to share -Although I like people, I'm not really a 'party person' -Pretty laid back and easy going -Not laid back if you give me tomato -I bake my own bread so the house will smell amazing -There are many more positives but you will have to hit me up for them ✌🏼 Looking for a place close to university, very flexible with the arrangements, would prefer something from early March until early November.
I'm Tessa, a 25 year old osteopath from Melbourne looking to move to Adelaide in January for work. I'm neat and tidy with a laid back personality. I love travelling and watching live music and would love to find a social house with roommates who are open to hang out with on weekends.
Hey! I'm 22, and looking for a room to rent. I'm a full time student and also work at a homewares store. I'm a very social person and love hanging out and meeting new people, but I also respect that everyone needs space sometimes! I love animals and Harry Potter, and my hobbies include bouldering with my mates and playing footy.
Hey! I'm Tia, 20, studying Criminology at Flinders University. You can usually find me at a gig or concert. I also enjoy hiking, bike riding, and watching Netflix (some fave binges include Mindhunter and American Horror Story). I am also an avid DVD collector and I am trying to build up the biggest DVD collection you will ever see. I am currently on like 20 so ya know, getting there. I am pretty easy to get along with and will laugh at any bad puns. I have two beautiful kitties that will need to come with me, they are both lovely and my fat boy will give you lots of affection. :) I also use to play tennis at a club for about 6 years so if you're into having a hit every now and again that would make me incredibly happy.
Speech Pathology student, from Hong Kong, down to earth, clean and tidy, love to have a chat but also enjoy self-time, looking for a flat or flatmate(s) to share one, preferably close to bus stops/ on South Road
Hi! Sofia is a Flinders University student, doing a double degree with 3+ years rent history! Never missed rent or been late with bills :) I work at Glenelg and always have a steady income. Both very laid back, fun and easy to get along with! Looking for new accomodation due to the current lease expires soon! If you have any questions or would like to get to know more about us, please do not hesitate to send a message! :)
I'm a mature trans woman who can be social when appropriate, and self-contained when not. I respect other people's privacy and property. I'm not much of a green thumb but do well with destructive gardening activities. I am pretty handy around the house - I have my own power tools and know how to use them safely. I have worked in IT for the last 22 years. As such, I'm pretty handy with helping out with tech matters. I am between roles right now, but when I am earning, I do so in the low 6 figure range. I am looking not just for a room for me, but for a place that has a rumpus area (or similar) that I can use for recording podcasts with half a dozen friends a couple of nights a week. I've just had to downsize from a 3BR house, so I still have a fair amount of stuff that I need room for as well. (Most of it is in plastic tubs and can be stacked vertically.) Note: Thanks to factors beyond my control, I have a hard limit for rent of $148/week at the moment. I can pay separately for utilities/internet but the rent has to be below that number. Bond can probably be fudged if I pay an extra week or two.
I'm a pretty funny person who likes to cook delicious vegan meals. I enjoy having friends over for dinner parties. I've recently returned to Adelaide after a couple of years in Melbourne and I'm keen to find the next place to call home. I've got a fully stocked kitchen, bedroom furniture and a tv.
I’m clean, reliable with money, respectful and kind! I love a group meal and a chat. But I respect people’s space also! I work in hospo and study social work. I love music and art. I’m from Melbourne but moving to Adelaide!
I work full time and enjoy going to the gym, cooking and trying new things. I am a very social and chatty person, who’s is down for anything. Originally a country girl but have been living in Adelaide for 5 years. I am a trustworthy, respectful and reliable person and looking to live with someone similar to myself.
Just finished my uni degree, studying to get my builders license at TAFE. Currently working as a maths tutor, bartender and volleyball coach. Looking for rent at or below $200 a week. No preference on genders to live with. In my spare time I play volleyball, practice jiujitsu and play video games. I have one dog (black lab) who would stay on some nights I'm not working. He's an excellent doggo, friendly and well mannered :) Looking to move out ASAP. Generally very clean and willing to help clean my fair share of the house. Hit me up if you think I'd fit in at your place.
Hey! I'm Alicia! I am currently in my first year of study but have been struggling with travel so have decided to move to adelaide in 2019 to complete the rest of my studies! I study at Tabor, in goodwood, so around there would be ideal! I'm a christian, so on weekends I would most likely be doing things. I'm a quite, respectable young lady (20) from the barossa valley, moving to adelaide to study. I have moved out of home once before with a friend and their were no issues, I kept the place tidy and respected everyone in it. I'm looking for a place in January of 2019.
Hi Friends, I am Moving out of my house in late January ( Have always rented my own house). Moving to Sydney in late March and need somewhere for 6 - 8 weeks to finish up work. I work full time in retail. (I leave for work very early each morning from 5.30am and usually don’t get home until 4pm Tuesday - Saturday) I have a 14 year old son and although he will predominantly be living with my parents during that time, it would be nice to have him stay over. Not essential as I can go home. 😊 Happy to rent a room, furnished or unfurnished.
Friendly, sociable, love to go out but also appreciate spending the night in. I study quite a bit for my course as well and can respect people's privacy. Sometimes I'll study at Uni, sometimes at home, but I'd say I'm out quite a lot because of my casual job anyway. Move date is extremely flexible right now as I'm not in a time-sensitive position. I speak a bit of Spanish and can cook an alright meal every now and then!
I'm studying computer science in 2019 in Adelaide. I'm trained as a barista and with various other hospitality work, though I will need to find a new job for the move. I'm relatively introverted but if I get going on a topic I enjoy, I could talk for hours! I built a PC earlier this year (would highly recommend, way easier than it seems) which I like to use for gaming and movies, among other things. I'm from western Victoria, near the Grampians, and went to school in Ballarat. I'm also bi, it's a new thing for me and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I'm nervous but excited about what the new year and the big city will bring!
