Hey everyone, I'm looking for a place ASAP as the lease where I'm staying is ending in two weeks. I'm looking for a smoker-friendly room on the north or northwest side of brisbane. Preferably within half an hour from the city on public transport. My budget is $140 a fortnight or $180 including bills. About me: I'm Tash, 19yo from Brisbane and studying full-time in Milton completing my year 11 and 12. In my spare time I enjoy sketching, puzzles, reading, and being in nature, as well as going out occasionally on the weekends. I've been staying with friends for a while in a sharehouse and am wanting a more relaxed environment that's also stable, so living with 4 or less other people would be ideal. I need my space sometimes, (especially in the mornings before my coffee) but I'm easygoing and happy to be social otherwise. I also clean up after myself, and am respectful of other people's lifestyles, so I hope to find a house that is the same. Feel free to message me with any questions you have :)
We keep to ourselves but love to chat, our dog makes a great addition to our little family and loves other dogs/people. We are very clean people and respectful of others.
I am looking to settle in Brisbane for a while because this is where my much adored niece is based. I have a housetrained desexed cat, goes by the name of Pixie or hey you. The cat is unfortunately not other cat or dog friendly, she had some bad experiences when young and as a result does not play well with others. I how ever am well used to sharing, cleaning up after myself and paying my bills on time. I have some furniture, kitchen stuff and some electrics. Not a smoker, big drinker or death metal singer-along-with-at 2am -er. Looking for like minded non Trump supporters to make a home with. Any extra info I am happy to share, but feel that some actual human interaction i.e. ph or face to face, would be more illuminating. Thanks for your time :) P.S I am a hetero female who couldn't care less who or what floats your boat, provided adult consent is involved :)
Hi I'm Lindy! I'm 19 and in my second year of studying a Business degree at QUT. I work two jobs - one in the City and the other in Chermside. I enjoy running, exploring around Brisbane/the Coast, going out a bit and being social, but also relaxing and having my own space when I have work to do or study to focus on. I’m very easy-going, friendly and considerate of other people's space and privacy. I'm tidy and clean up after myself, and would expect the same from the people I live with. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
Hello! :) My name is Kelsey, and I am 23 years old and just graduated with a degree in Microbiology last year, and Mike is 25 and also just received his degree in Psychology. We're both from Canada and are currently here on a working holiday for a year. We're both really easy going and friendly, neither of us are smokers or huge partiers, but we do like to enjoy a few beers in the evening on occasion. Interests include going on road trips and adventures/hikes, movies, music, video games, and just general hanging out. We're both clean and respectful people, and are hoping to find some like-minded flatmates. We're currently living on the Gold Coast so we're on the job hunt for work in Brisbane at the moment, but have plenty saved up from our jobs back home and could pay several months rent in advance no problem. We're hoping to find some other lovely people to have as flatmates during our time in Brisbane and cannot wait to head over there. :)
Hi! My name is Laura and I'm a 31 year old professional working standard office hours in the city. I'm looking for a room in a townhouse, house or an apartment that is close to the city. It would be great to live with similar people. I'm quite friendly and like to have a chat but also enjoy some down time to myself. On the weekends I like going for bike rides, meeting up with my friends for dinner or brunch and enjoy a night in with a movie and maltesers. I'm very clean, tidy and considerate of others. Thanks! :) P.s although my move date says March I'm quite flexible and happy to move later or earlier if required.
Hello! I'm Nick, a 28 year old full-time professional looking for accommodation close to my work in Lutwyche. I am very easy going, clean and tidy and am always up for a laugh or a drink. I am fairly new to Brisbane and am keen to make new friends. I work fairly long hours and like to get out and do things on the weekend and am very respectful of people's privacy. I don't own a whole lot, so would prefer a furnished place but am more than happy to chip in for whatever your place might be lacking! Looking to move in as soon as possible, as I am currently commuting to work from the Sunshine Coast. if there is anything further you would like to know, please get in touch!
Hi I am Rosie, I am 25 and just moved back from London at the end of last year. I work full time as a Case Manager for Queensland Corrections. I try to do a bit of exercise and I am pretty much always on the go. I love beer/wine/g&t etc and like to have a good time but I am not too much of a young party animal any more sadly. I am looking for a friendly fun house where we can share the odd meal and the not so odd beverage.
Im very easy going, friendly, clean, non smoker. I work full time as a Jeweller, and spend a lot of time travelling. Looking forward to meeting some new people and getting to know Brisbane a little better!
Hi I'm Yas .. I am clean and tidy, quiet, and very easygoing. I've been sharing houses with diverse nationalities and age groups. So I have enough experience to share a flat with and respect others privacy.
I'm very clean and quite. Respectful of others space. I like to be sociable but also enjoy my own time. Love watching movies etc going for breakfast and gym. My cats name is Memphis and he is also very clean and house trained. He's 14yrs so most of his time he is sleeping lol. I'm a hairdresser so on my days off I like to chill
Hey I'm Aaron, a 23 year old creative designer that's working full time in Brisbane. Currently living on the Gold Coast, I'm looking for a place around Brisbane that's convenient for work and socialising on weekends. I'm a pretty relaxed, no stress, clean and tidy kinda guy who understands the need for personal space but also doesn't mind a good chat or quality hang time with friends. I spend most of my weekdays at work making things to look pretty on the computer. Weekends you'll catch me playing sports, mountain biking, jet-skiing, hanging with friends or even back on the computer catching up on all my favourite TV shows. I get along well with females and would prefer to live with them, although this isn't a deal breaker. Being fresh into the Brisbane scene, it'd be nice living with housemates that embark on the occasional excursion out of the house. Otherwise, general cleanliness without being a total OCD control freak would be great!
Hey my names Emma, I'm 20 and have lived by myself since I was 17. Proving to become too expensive for what I want to do, I've decided to move out into a share house or get a flat mate. I am clean and quiet, I work 5 days a week so I am out of the house from 8-5 everyday, and then at gym until 8 most nights or out on the weekends with my partner. I don't ask for much but I do like my space, I also love a good chat, but I cherish my alone time as you can tell I don't get much. I don't have many people over and if I would, it would be my boyfriend on the weekend and maybe a weeknight here and there, or a couple friends every now and then. I do have a cat named Cleopatra, true to her name she's a diva, so she does what she likes mostly and that is being outside during the day, and coming in to eat and sleep at night lol. She's fully toilet trained, flea treated often and very beautifully natured. Don't be afraid to send me through a message if this interests you :)
We are a French couple aged 27 looking for a nice place to leave in Brisbane. We moved recently and are going to work at least 6 months in the city and might get a sponsorship as well. I am working in luxury hospitality and have a very flexible schedule for work, my boyfriend is a panel beater and working mon to fri every day. We are really friendly and we love to interact with people with a different culture. We love to cook and enjoy a nice glass of wine. We are not all about parties, we like outdoor activities and are very tidy and clean.
Im katie, I'm 21 years old and work full time at a bar in Brisbane city. I'm looking to relocate to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast to save the commute to and from work everyday. I'm super easy going, friendly and get along with majority of personalities :)
Kiwi living in Aus Currently looking for a new place to call home :) I own a ute and a motorbike so off-street parking preferred or convenient parking I like to keep quiet during the week with work and gym with the odd outing for dinner ect. Weekend depending what's happening, not a total party animal but don't mind a few drinks time to time
25 yo Australian professional female, moving back to Brisbane for work in May (full-time work). Looking for place to stay for at least 4 months. Flexible with dates. Don't need a lot of space as rarely home. Friendly and clean. Non-smoker. Happy to live with pets (though I don't have my own).
Hey there! Im a very social person who enjoys "havin a laff" and hanging out. Im currently looking for work in Brisbane while working and living in Bundaberg. I'm starting work on the 3rd of April and will be staying with friends until i find my own home. Im looking for people who are interested in creating a fun social environment to live in while still being able to respect each others space. I love to clean, cook, go on adventures, crafting, listening to some quality music and have a few bevvies with the bois. If you're interested please contact me ^-^
I am a trustworthy, honest and caring guy who loves catching up with friends and making new ones. I always pay my bills and rent on time and in full with no worries. I love cleaning - strange I know but I find it very therapeutic. I also like cooking, walking and singing and dancing. I am currently a student studying Dip of Remedial Massage and as I don't drive, I rely on public transport.
Just moved here from Europe, I'm still in a settling phase lol. I start my lectures on 10/4, I hope to find a place as quickly as possible so that I have a point for reference to get around and get to know the city. I'm a gay guy, vegetarian. Just keen on living the Aussie life I always wanted. I can go out and party but I'm a hermit at times, all depends on the mood and the people. I am a huge fan of social media and my list of favourite TV shows is never ending. Ideal Friday night is just a bottle of wine and good company. Trying to cut down/quit on smoking but that's as bad as I get really. Main interests are animals, anything Aussie, cute boys haha, fashion, photography, just diversity as far as people go and yoga! I really want to get into it so if you're up for being my yoga buddy I love you already! I would just love a diverse household I could call a home, not just a temporary stay, someone that would explore this city and experience all it has to offer, wether you're a foreigner or a native!
Hey everyone! I'm a 20 year old Male currently studying Secondary Education (PE/Maths) and am looking at moving out of home. I'm very easy to get along with and very respectful of peoples space. I'm a very social person so would be happy to hang out together, but also enjoy my own space so I won't always be bothering you. I love movies, I work at a cinema so I see basically everything, and love all sports and travelling (just came back from 5 weeks in Asia) . Swing me a message if you're keen to start looking at some places :)
