-I am friendly and comfortable -I understand it is important to have alone time -We can explore hidden cafes & arty places together -I am tolerant towards all nationalities and sexualities -I enjoy discussing about books (especially nonfiction ones) and movies (the slow and aesthetic types mostly but I'm pretty cool with anything -I am generally happy -I am a very unique person once you really get to know me
Im currently a student at Monash, looking to live near campus. Some stuff about me, I'm from Mauritius and I speak French. Love cooking and do some social drinking. Been living a long time sharing with mates, so I know how to respect boundaries. Looking forward for any cool people to share a flat/house together.
I have recently been asked to work in Melbourne starting in 2 weeks so here i am trying to secure a home in Melbourne promptly. Once again I set deadlines for myself that are tight and i may have told my new boss that I can change departments on the 2/10. I calculated the maths in my head, the same mind that told me to start on the 2/10 and came to the conclusion that once again I may have overestimated my abilities. I have decided I need to utilise some of the skills I have written I possess in my resume to get me through this predicament I have put myself in. Using effective communication, creative thinking and taking initiative to get the desired result i hope to secure a property before the deadline. When all else fails I will employ desparation. A characteristic not mentioned in my resume, however it is attribute that is evident in interviews. If someone could offer me a room that would be great as I have a lot of clothes to pack and some hard decisions ahead of me In relation to culling some of these once loved items. I am a full time working, aspiring to something different every month 26 year old gal. I am like most of the descriptions on here, neat, friendly and looking for those qualities in prospective housemates. For fun? friends, eating, sleeping, dancing, eating, movies, music, eating, becoming obsessed with a musical instrument for a week, googling how long it takes to become a master at said instrument and giving up before i even begin. So you know, the usual stuff. My main selling point would be that i come with Frankie the Border Collie cross Lab puppy, she turned 1 a few months ago and is keen... I would love to write that she speaks 4 languages, packs the dishwasher and makes tea for you in the morning however she isn't quite there yet... She's used to living inside and cuddling to any willing participant. I am obsessed with her, she is obsessed with anyone who will give her attention. ** of note the speediness of me having to move to Melbourne i understand i may not find a house that can accommodate my pup and i. So she has alternative accommodation (with my mother who she loves more than i) if i find myself in a position where she can't move. DISCLAIMER: you can't tell from the photo however I do have a below knee amputation, why? Cancer. Why are you still on crutches? Still have cancer (although it is stable). Why are you writing this? To avoid awkward meetings. Any questions, i would be happy to answer.

Workaholic scientist recently returned from New York to take up a position at Monash. I'm pretty quiet and easy to live with and will often work late or on the weekend. I enjoy kicking back with a bottle of wine or some beers and a movie on the weekend, hanging out with friends and family, playing boardgames and enjoying the outdoors.
Hi Guys, My name is Charlotte and I am a full-time Ph.D. student at Monash University. Me and my boyfriend (full-time master student in business at Monash) looking for a new place, as our current living situation is ending due to sale of the house next month. We lived with 3 other students in the same house. So we are used to different cultures and characters. We are very tidy, but also easy to get along with. We love the outdoors and are also enrolled at the gym in Clayton. We would like to live close to Monash University, Clayton campus, as we are both studying full-time and need to be there every day. Looking forward to hear from you soon. Cheers, Charlotte
I'm an easy going guy, moving from the UK to complete my PhD at Monash University. I'm a pretty decent chef, like to chill out and socialize. Imperial to a couple of games of FIFA although I'm not very good at it! Looking to move in end of September before starting my course on the 1st of October
I'm a student at Monash University starting October this year. I'll be arriving in Australia on 5th October. I've been told I'm somewhat of a geek, with general topics of interests being in all areas of Science, sociology and anthropology, games and fiction. I do play games on the Switch and 3DS to take some of the tension off. In the aspect of being considerate, I make it a habit to make as little noise as I can around the house, be it with my footsteps or how I close the doors. That said, I am also a light sleeper and am unable to sleep in the presence of loud noises and the murmur of people talking. In such cases, I would often have to wait for everyone else to sleep first before I do. I'm a fan of: Harry Potter, Eragon, Bartimaeus Games I play: Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, Fantasy Life, Monster Hunter, The Binding of Isaac I cannot stand the smell of cigarette smoke, and cannot stay with people who do without creating much inconvenience. My mother will be flying in with me on the first week and would like to stay with me if possible.
I'm a PhD student from Italy and will come to Monash Uni for six months. I love to travel, take pictures, read a good book and have a chat after dinner, possibly with a tea. I'm not a smoker and I'm kinda quiet. Last thing.. I love cats I'm searching for a place near the Uni, doesn't matter how big it is but it would be better if with own bathroom
Hi there! I'm looking for a long term home, living with respectful and like minded housemates and looking for a home instead of just a house to stay. I'd like to live with housemates on a long term basis who are mature, responsible, good, neat & tidy, quiet & respectful. Please contact me if you'd like to chat about it further. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Kind Regards, Rose
Busy, clean, private, working male Indian person. Most of the time busy in working and ok for little bit of chat. Very Adjusting and working for 5 days in the CBD. Looking for a clean and private place which is easily accessible to public transport.
Australian male, originally from South Australia, living in Melbourne permanently for the past three years, with a professional engineering education, and very easy to get along with. Good rental history, always pays bills and rent on time. I play video games (console and PC are both cool), boardgames, and tabletop roleplaying, so housemates interested in that is a definite plus, but it hasn't stopped me before. I love to cook, drink (in moderation), and eat a variety of foods. Happy to keep to myself or socialise, try new things, and make friends with awesome housemates. Hoping for a place I can live in the long-term, but also happy to take accommodation for shorter periods.
Hi Im Javier; recently relocated to Melbourne from Sydney to do further study and for a fresh start. I study mathematics, psychology & econometrics full time (science & commerce), and have just completed bachelors in Arts (Philosophy) and a BMed at the UNSW - so just getting a broad-based undergraduate education- aka don't know what I really want to do in life. I know there's a real world out there somewhere - but one's reality is what one makes of it. I am honest, decadent, carefree, playful, and take pleasure in the lost art of conversation. I'm usually quite sociable and I enjoy drinking wine, reading, sailing, philosoph, gallery showings, and painting in my free time. (i have recently started to dabble in painting - there's something therapeutic about flirting with colour) As for myself I am pretty much as laid back as one can reasonably get (or so i like to think) I avoid preconceiving of people based on age, gender, race and the like and am thus quite open as to whom I live with, its very difficult to cause me irritation. I have lived in shared accommodation for many years, and feel that the ability to be open and upfront about any issues that may arise is the best way to make it work; and save ourselves the passive aggression and resentment that may otherwise slowly fester. When living in shared accommodation I am looking for more than just a room - but for sociable housemate(s) who are down for the occasional drinks and conversation as well as having people over from time to time - that said am looking for people who have not forgotten that the pleasures we afford ourselves are the things that make life worth living. As for money i have enough to get by for an entire semester at the moment thans to my stint in day trading, and my mother - though I am looking for some part time work - that said I will have no issue paying rent. And i am clean - and have cultivated a habit especially of keeping common areas free of clutter though i don't particularly mind if you are messy. Fee free to contact me directly on my cell
