Hi there, I am Clare, a happy, quiet and clean flat mate while very willing to talk and communicate. And of course I respect people for their privacy and personal space. After several years' work in Shanghai, I will be back to study full-time in Monash from Feb 2017. I have a healthy life style. I love music, taking photos and traveling. I will need to move in on the date of 13th Feb 2017. Don't hesitate to contact me:) Cheers, Clare
Hi, I'm moving to Melbourne to study at Monash University. I'm easy going, sociable and a tidy person. I'm looking for people similar to me to live with during my exchange period (about 5 months). Ideally location: close to Monash Clayton campus or within walking distance.
Hi! My name is Mollie, I'm 21, I've just finished studying fulltime and I'm working in retail. I'm a very bright, bubbly and easy going person, I'm also neat and tidy, courteous and respectful and I really enjoy cooking and baking. I love to get out and about but a quiet one in front of the TV with some comfort food is totally my style too. I'm happy being social and interacting with my house mates as well as taking some time to myself. I'm very serious about finding somewhere and I'm looking to move closer to work, I'd love to be able to find a house or flat, sharing with ideally a maximum of three people that I really get along with. If I could find somewhere with a private bathroom and room that would also be ideal.
Hi there! We are sisters looking for a place to live close to monash uni once Ashley comes back from exchange. We are both engineering students who are easy going, super nice, and are willing to take up any household chores. We love dogs (especially out two poms that we'd be leaving behind :( ), KFC, bingeing on tv shows and having a few drinks on a Friday night. If you have 2 rooms available or want to team up with us, hit us up! Our limit is 180$/wk including bills (pp).
I'm working full time as a lawyer for the government and I'm looking for a fun loving yet a professional household. I'm a good spirited and adventurous character who loves socialising and having a drink, but also requires alone time to recharge. I love playing board games, hanging out and binge watching TV. I cook reasonably often and enjoy sharing meals. I'm a pretty active person and will usually have a dinner or a drink after work with friends and go out on the weekends. Sometimes though I just need to chill on the couch like a vegetable. I think sharing homes can be a great way how to meet new people and make new connections - however it can also be incredibly challenging, so I recommend that we have a drink and see if we are compatible.
Hi, my name is Christiane. I'm a 27 year old trainee solicitor. I'm usually busy with work or my side hustle - writing and poetry - so I will stay out of your hair. That said, I'm not about hiding in my room either. I enjoy reading and tv - crime and animation particularly. I am trying to become a gym person but to be honest, I prefer being out in nature to exercise. I love traveling and art and opera and appreciate people who are reasonably clean - but I wouldn't stress if the place wasn't clean here or there. I have made a lifestyle change to quit drinking although it's not a blanket ban. I'll never say never. I smoke occasionally but am in the process of quitting and would not smoke near the house if my housemate was averse to it. I appreciate intelligence and nerds particularly as I am a closet nerd. Plus, I'm an INFP/ENFP if you know what that means then good for you :) I am open to living with people of any sexual or religious or other affiliation. All I ask is kindness and calm. I am social but in my books, my home is my sanctuary.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
I am very easy to get along with, tidy after myself (and sometimes others if they need help), like to keep a clean and calm household, and keep up to date with all my bills. I love nature and travel, and a bit of photography. Also play club sports, and very much a water-boy (not waterboy) cause I love my water sports or just splashing about. I'm also happy to lend a hand if something of yours is broken (I'm quite practical) and share a meal or just chill anytime.
Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
My name is Trevor. I'm 31 years old and work full-time in Blackburn. I'd like to believe that I would be the perfect house mate as I am happy to cook, make sure I clean up after myself and will definitely be punctual with bills etc. I'm happy to share a meal and/or a drink or even a movie/tv series marathon, but also keep to myself at times. I try to keep myself fit by getting to the gym most mornings (yes I said try). I am looking for a place with preferably only 1 female housemate, someone who I can build a friendship with and create a fun and relaxing household. If you think this sounds like you please shoot me a message. Thanks!
Hello, guys and girls. We are a young couple in our mid 20's moving over from New Zealand. Bill has been a self employed builder for the last 8 years in NZ and looking at branching out in to the world of project management. Libby is in marketing, she is extremely creative and loves the challenges it can bring. We are both very outgoing and don't like sitting around too much... although you can't beat a trashy movie with wine and a cheese board on the odd Saturday night. We have a very loving dog, Jack, who we will be bringing with us. He is a doberman and is great with people (kids and adults alike), cats, dogs - the lot! A lover to his very core! Other than walking our hound and exploring, we enjoy taking the motorbike out, getting to the gym regularly, good drinks and delicious food (we try to be healthy) and cutting shapes until the sun comes ups. The flights are booked and we are landing Australia side on the 30th of March. Ideally we would love to have a place lined up and locked in - ready to hit the ground running. We are very tidy and considerate people and we are very much looking forward to meeting new people and getting this adventure going.
Hi my name is Laura, I am a 24yo looking for a large room in the Caulfield North, Malvern East, Prahran, South Yarra areas I am easygoing, tidy, have a great sense of humour, and a non smoker. Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !
I am the ultraclean kind. Also, I enjoy alone time as well as casual chilling times with roomies. I know how to respect people space and peace. I am from Canada, soooo real polite :p just kiding. I am laid back, and a student, so not so stress in general.
I'm moving to melbourne for uni, doing a masters of translation. I'm friendly, tidy, easy going. Looking for a place with a secured backyard for my super friendly jack russel, Gary. I like to play netball, frisbee, and to occasionally bake. I enjoy my own company but also happy to socialise.
Hey hey, I'm a 29 year not old yet guy, originally from England, looking to move as close as possible to Monash Clayton as i'll be starting a Bachelor of Science in March. For the last 4 years I have been living in Melbourne CBD in a 1 bed studio apartment, so I've been completely independent and self responsible. I am not anti-social, I have enjoyed my personal space but I am happy to now move into a share house and to meet new people. I'm moving down there for the sole reason to study so as long as I have a personal retreat to do so, even if small, all good! I'm planning to drive Uber part time so i'll be bringing a car. I don't smoke (weed or tobacco), have no pets, though i'm an animal lover (majoring zoology) so if you have one, all good! My plan is to get fit and eat healthy, so encouragement and fridge space is welcome! I get along with most people, I don't discriminate, so as long as you're not a dick we'll be cool! Let me know if you have anything available, i'll come down to see you! Living on the cheap - $150-$180/week inc bills. Thanks, Oliver
I am respectful and I am tidy. I usually clean up after myself. I am not ocd. I work in the hospitality industry in the city. Therefore I am usually at work. I like to keep to myself mostly and occasionally like to have some good chats over home cooked meal and wine. I like also watch lots of tv shows and movies. I have a netflix account. I like pets but I do not own one. I enjoy going for coffee, brunches and checking out new cafes or bars. Please message me as I am looking to move out by the first week of February and ps: I also have an Nespresso machine if you love your caffeine. :)
I am a recent high school graduate from Geelong, and I'm planning to start a Biomedical Science/Science double at Monash this year. Whilst my room can range from being a bit messy to very organised, I always respect the other rooms of the house and keep them fairly neat. I like to be social and I look forward to making new friends as I begin my uni life, but at the same time I value and respect other people's privacy as well as my own. Some of my hobbies and interests include playing the piano, watching TV/movies, music, basketball and travelling.
I love meeting new people and I tend to be a cooperative housemate, respecting other people's space. As a student, I endeavour to balance my time spent in Australia with study and great, fun experiences. However, I do enjoy some quiet and privacy, so I won't be the noisiest person to live with! I love watching movies and reading, with the occasional TV show binge on weekends. I adore fitness and sports and believe in eating healthy and staying physically active.
Hello, my name is Pooja Aiyangar. I'm 19 years old, and I'm studying at Monash University (Bachelor of Arts Degree), the Clayton Campus. I am a full - time student. I have a laid back lifestyle. In my free time I enjoy watching television, listening to music and exercising. I'm a tidy, respectful, open - minded and caring person. I also like socializing. I prefer cooking my own food but wouldn't mind sharing every now and then. I am a vegetarian. I do not mind my housemates being non-vegetarians as long as they clean up after themselves. :)

My max is $200 per week, so looking for a big enough place with enough people that we can share bills and rent equally! Thanks in advance!
My name is Hayley, I'm 26 years old, and work full time in child health research in Parkville. I'm very clean and friendly and I like living in positive, peaceful homes. In my spare time, I enjoy eating out with friends, going to the gym, and photography. I like keeping things quiet during the 9-5 working week. My weekends are spent doing relaxing activities such as yoga, socialising, or going on day trips. I'm looking for a private ensuite room with a car space for around $200-250 in the inner east/south-east.
I am a 19 year old student currently studying at Swinburne University, i also work part time in the city. I have previously been living with my three sisters in Oakleigh, but am looking to live closer to both uni and work. I am clean, quiet but am also always up for a good time.
I am a tertiary educated professional looking for a friendly, calm and mature-aged share house. My interests include computers, music, world news and a healthy lifestyle. I value privacy and respect the rights of others.
Hi I'm Josh and I have just moved to Melbourne from Queensland for work and am looking at sharing a place while I work and explore Melbourne. I'm an easy going room mate who enjoys going to the gym, playing and watching sports, cooking and the occasional social drink. I plan to eventually buy a place and am looking for somewhere in the short term (6 to 12 months) to stay while I get to know the city a bit better.
I am a very friendly, easygoing person who is clean and tidy. I am very active so often like to be out of the house more than in it. I am a Primary School teacher. I am mainly looking to work and save as much money as possible before continuing my travels. I like to relax but also enjoy a drink every so often. I can fit into any crowd so I would be the perfect housemate 😊👍🏼
I am a final year medical student studying full time. I am clean and organised and while I like my alone time, I also enjoy socialising with housemates. I have previously lived in share houses (2013-2015). I am from Brisbane but study in Melbourne during the university semester. My hobbies include crafting, listening to music and baking food. - I am currently looking for unfurnished rooms as I have my own bed, study desk, etc.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (photography) at RMIT in the city. Before I moved to Melbourne in January 2016 I was a journalist for a country newspaper and have since moved away from writing and started using my cameras a lot more (including film and vintage polaroids). This year I hope to start a personal blog to maintain the passion I have for writing. I photograph music and people. I have worked for Groovin the Moo and Falls Festivals and many renowned artists and bands in the three years since I decided to pursue photography as a lifelong career. When I'm not taking photographs I play music, both guitar and piano and this year I am taking up vocal lessons with the hope to pursue a solo music project I've had in mind for quite some time. I'm originally from the country and moved from rural South Australia in January 2016 to begin studies here in Melbourne. I am now in my second year of a three-year course and will need to secure accommodation before the end of February. For the meantime, I am currently staying with my friends in Ferntree Gully. I have been a club photographer and do enjoy being social, going out for dinner, drinks, brunch, coffee and engaging in great conversation and building friendships, something I didn't really get to experience in the sharehouse I was in last year. I am a neat, tidy and sometimes quiet person who enjoys their quiet time just as much as the social side of things. This year I hope to find a bubbly, friendly, mature and sensible household to become part of as I believe that surrounding yourself with the right people with an abundance of positive vibes and energy will only stimulate my creativity and really fulfil the expectations I have placed on making this year my own, as well as an uplifting and rewarding year for the people around me too. I know I got a little bit long with this but I hope to find a great sharehouse or even something to myself by the end of February or else I might have to put my degree on hold or something as I will have no means of accommodation here in Melbourne and I really, really don't want that to happen. P.S I am also a huge dog lover, I miss my furry friend back home so badly, but if you have a dog, it is certainly no issue, it would actually be a huge benefit.
Reliable, relaxed, very neat, likes tidy. Currently a beauty therapist student studying and also working in a spa. Likes to be healthy and active from Gippsland so travel from Melbourne to Gippsland and around Victoria a far bit so won't be home all the time.
I'm working full-time as an Assistant Project Manager in Hawthorn East. I'm outgoing, sociable, play a lot of sport during the week, friendly, clean, trustworthy, organised, don't smoke, am easy to get along with, flexible, caring, love a good drink and always pay bills on time. I am currently renting with two others in Hawthorn and have been for the last 10+ months, but am **LOOKING TO MOVE OUT IN EARLY/LATE MARCH**. **WILL ONLY LOOK AT UNFURNISHED BEDROOMS.** I dont have too much furniture, just a bed, TV, chest of draws, clothes and a couple of bedside tables and thats it! I have a car and will require parking (preferable undercover and off the street).
A full Gemini at heart! Hello People, Im looking for a place I can call home for 3-6months at a time. Im a very switched on introvert :) that respects personal space and timely interaction. Currently living in South Yarra and looking to settle in early March. Drop me a line.
My name is Peter and I come from Slovenia, Europe. It is a small country so you might not have heard yet about it. I am 22 years old and will be spending one semester at Monash University as exchange student. I love sports. Hi everyone! I'm Vin. I'll be doing my masters degree in Monash uni this February and now I'm looking for a place to call home around Caulfield. I'm actually planning to fly to Melbourne around the 30th of January or 6th of February. Or sometime in between. I'm a non smoker woman, very social. I have a very fond interest for anything travel, automotive, fashion and cats. I enjoy reading books, watching movies, or a nice walk/jog in a park ooor just a good conversation about even the most mundane things lol. I'm pretty cool with almost everything haha. I'm a chill person in general soo I'm pretty sure it'll be fun to spend time with me.
I am an Italian postgraduate student. I'll be studying at Monash full-time and I hope to find part-time job, too. I'm very open-minded and enjoy being with people of all different backgrounds. I love traveling and outdoor activities, I do yoga and love to share my passions with others! Chill and easy-going, I can be quiet whenever needed, but most of the time I am social and talkative! I can cook Italian food (and love to cook for friends), plus I am tidy and clean and I love pets (even though I don't have any)! I don't smoke but I don't mind others smoking. I've been sharing houses and rooms for the past five years, which makes me an expert .. can't wait to discover Australia!
Hi, I am a fourth year medical student looking for somewhere to live during the year (end of January - end of November). Am easy going, clean up after myself and enjoy the sharehouse vibe. Ideally looking for places near a train station with rent under $150pw and clean, friendly housemates.
My name is Jamie, I'm 25, from Ireland and work full time. I am a clean, tidy and respectful person. I have lived in numerous share houses at home in Ireland so I respect people's privacy and I am always on time with rent/bills and not afraid to pull my weight with household chores. I enjoy going to the gym, working out and going out for dinner and some drinks at the weekends.
Can adapt to whatever environment I'm thrown into whether that is party central or stay at home kind of crew. I'm a country girl making the move to Melbourne and enjoy sport, good food and Game of Thrones.
Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a student currently studying fashion design at RMIT and working part-time at Monash University with the Academy of Performing Arts. I work late nights for MAPA, so I'm looking for a place that is accessible to the Monash Clayton campus. I love theatre, sewing, reading, and hanging out with friends watching rubbish telly and movies. I'm a bit of a nerd. I'm a very clean roommate who loves to cook and drink coffee. I mostly make costumes in my spare time, but I've been known to make the odd made to measure outfit here and there. Who knows, there might be something you'd like that I can make for you! I'm looking to move out in March but could be flexible on dates for the right place.

I'm a 27 year old health professional, originally from NSW, been in Melbourne about 6 months now and loving it! Have been in a short term flatshare in that time but now on the hunt for something longer term. I've lived in flatshares for a few years now and am clean, tidy and respectful of other people's space (but also enjoy an occasional beer with flatties). I have a solid base of friends in Melbourne but always up for meeting new people. Hobbies and interests include sport (gym, swimming, touch football), music (guitar), scuba diving, and just generally exploring Melbourne.
I'm currently a student at Monash, looking for somewhere to live that's closer to the city. I've rented/lived in sharehouses before, so I'm no stranger to cleaning schedules/respecting privacy/keeping noise down etc. When I'm not studying or working I like to go out salsa dancing, see movies/watch Netflix, or just get out of the house and do some sightseeing. I've lived in Melbourne all my life but I like to get out and about. I work casually in retail (10-20 hours a week), and also work at the MCG. I've never had a paying meeting my rent, but wanted to be upfront about my employment situation.

I'm a little bit of a neat freak so i promise i'm tidy to live with :) I'm trying to save up so i have 3 jobs, I'm a nanny, i work in a bar and i also work as a model. Im going back toto uni this year to study interior design at RMIT! I go to gym sometimes, so i'm trying to be healthy, but deep down I'm a guilty sweet tooth and chocolate addict.
