Hey, I'm looking for a long term room in any of the inner suburbs, preferably within 45 mins cycling time of carlton. I work part time and spend the remainder of my time reading, tryna learn piano and going on outings with friends. Have lived in share houses before and am tidy + reliable with cleaning up and paying rent/bills. I'm always up for the odd cook up/cheap wine when I'm around but respectful of others' space/time. I'll need a place with parking available (street is fine). If you think you've got something in my budget - max $650 p/m - shoot me a message :) Emily
I'm pretty easy going, work full time. Happy to share a meal or two but also totally happy to do my own thing. Most nights I'm at the gym or doing social things. Weekends I'm mostly out. Not into partying I'm neat and tidy, but not pedantic about it and I'm respectful of others space. Do you like dogs? My 4yrold dog WONT be coming to live with me but he may visit/be around the house a few hours each week. He won't bother you as he dosent leave my side. He's a clean inside dog and always bathed. I have a good vaccume too.
I'm orginally from the Gold Coast but I've spent the past 6 years living in New York and San Francisco. I just moved to Melbourne (never lived here before!) and am looking to live with one other person. I spend my time eating all the things, taking day trips away, attempting to find parks to run/exercise in, guzzling a nice amount of wine on weekends (and maybe a cheeky bevy during the week). I also love hosting dinner parties here and there and am super into watching stand up comedy. I love being around people but also appreciate down time (especially in the mornings). Looking for someone who feels the same way. Would be great to find a roomie who's into similar things but no biggie if not. Oh and I'm the one on the left. Feel free to add me on social if you wanna know more!
I'm a friendly, quiet girl and mixture of outgoing and reserved nature. I like riding bmx exploring Melbourne. I like art and drawing and painting, hoping to do more and try make a career of it. I have a 13yo daughter who will spend time with me at the house. She is cool with interests in music, pop culture and human rights. Reflects on me a bit. I love gigs and dancing. And take an interest in politics, society and architecture. I like cooking and happy to cook a meal for everyone say once a week or so. I've had a tough time battling thru life with ear/brain infection, bipolar disorder and ADHD so now will like to just be settled and secure. I receive disability pension, that's my stable income. I do smoke cigarettes, not heaps tho, and am happy to smoke outside.
Hi, My name is Niall. I am originally from the sunny United Kingdom. I am a creative person. When it comes to living, I am clean, respectful but also keen to socialise with my housemates through cooking, games and anything that comes along. I am a good cook and I will always bring many different tea's home from the market/shop that I will share. :)
Hi I'm Soma, I work part time and am a sports trainer on the weekends. I enjoy all the usual things like hanging out with friends, having a few drinks during the week and exercising. I'm an active, outgoing person who has had sharehouse experience. I am looking to start my own sharehouse northside or move into an existing sharehouse. My values include honesty, respect, mature open dialogue and freedom to be oneself. I'm a fairly chill person and won't invade your space or me time, but I'm also down for being social and having a drink with my housemates. I am looking fo somewhere from northcote or Thornbury to as far out as Heidelberg or rosanna. I am looking for like minded people to create a home with. I'm applying and looking at houses at the moment but it's always better to have a group in order to be more successful. Hence why I'm on here trying to find housemates! Feel free to message me if you have any queries or this sounds like something you'd like to do.
Hi There. :) I'm soon to be homeless as my lease runs out at my current property. I am a small business owner/freelancer, seeking a place with a decent sized bedroom, study/office and lounge. I've been living by myself in a large townhouse up until now so have no problems paying rent, but keen to downsize, or share with someone (maybe in a similar situation/creative/freelancer type). Love having a beer or dinner with housemates, but also need my own space and respect others. I'm into music, guitar, photography, movies, bike riding, snowboarding, and am fairly easy going. Not much phases me, just looking to save a bit on rent and find a new place. Very clean, respectful and responsible. Open to sharing, teaming up, or living alone as long as I have space for my bed, and my desk.
Hiya, I'm moving to Melbourne from Perth to come study Interior Design at RMIT Uni. ideally, looking for my own small unit ...partly furnished with white goods would be even better! Will also consider house shares but no room shares. Up to $200pw is what id be looking at spending (ahh the life of a student) I'm 34 years old, so my partying days are quite behind me. Much prefer quiet nights in reading, listening to music- huuuuge music lover...though don't ask me what i listen to because i have a huge range of tastes ranging from ska, rocksteady, Old R&B, rockabilly, to old funky hip hop and old school metal... coming from a family with musicians i was always taught to keep my music tastes open! Love watching documentaries- mainly true crime, paranormal, Nat Geo, and environmental. Drinking tea, health & wellbeing, Kmart, aromatherapy, cooking, drawing and potting plants makes me happy...but then so does the occasional social drink and going out to a good gig and dinner with friends from time to time. I would consider myself respectful to others ,easy to get along with and very clean and tidy. Though i'am quite a private person, i get along with all walks of life. Also will be looking for a casual job 2 days or 3 nights a week.. Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like to know more.
Hi I'm Kellie, I'm newly single and looking for a place to call home. I'm really easy going, personable and always up for a wine or a cup of tea if it's going. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I work in Finance for a Fashion house in Carlton so would like to find somewhere preferably North side. I like to keep it pretty quiet and routine during the week but on weekends I'm usually out and about or at home chilling. I like music, sport, dancing, wine, fashion, cooking and lots of laughs. Cheers Kellie
While looking for work and waiting to study Vet nursing I mostly spend my time volunteering at various animal organisations to further my knowledge. I guess I am a down to earth, open, honest person. I love to laugh, smile, read and sketch.. Im a bit of a geek when it comes to games, although I don't play as much anymore. Creating things is my hobby, whether its a planting something just to watch it grow or a painting some furniture, small or big I am always actively doing something. Im a bit of a klutz and air head at times *forgetful* but very adaptable. I love to see others happy and believe honesty is the best way when living with anyone. I like constructive criticism, to discuss, Im always looking to better myself. I love to get to know any person.. but I would like to live with people that I can maybe collaborate with. I have two cats, Elye and Monk, they are beautiful and pleasant to be around, the least pushy, most visibly appreciative cats. Elye- Showed up on my friends door at 4 weeks old, tiny with huge globes for eyes that he never seemed to grow into. Loves to be spoken to and always knows when you're speaking about him. He is very sociable, loves to snuggle and is still very much a kitten, despite him being 2 years. Monk- Only still a little one, Monkey is full of energy. He has a very strange persona, skittish but brave? The reason his name is Monkey? He makes these little high gurgling noises much like his brother but he hardly ever meows. Everyone falls in love with this duo. Funnily enough even people that don't usually like cats become fond of them, they're just so unique and random. Oh, I have a heap of furniture that is in storage. This huge double door fridge, a 1 door fridge probably suited for outdoors, an 8 seater beautiful oak table, bookshelves, a washing machine and a few other cute bits and bobs. It would be great to get them out but if they aren't needed its no biggie. As I mentioned, I love to get to know people but I also love it when people take the time to know me. Please feel free to send me a message with any questions :)

Hi, my name is Thea and I am a 25 year old exchange student from Sweden. I recently got to Melbourne and will be studying Childhood Education at ACU in Fitzroy until mid December. Currently I’m staying with family but looking to find my own place ASAP and preferably for the duration of my stay. I am a responsible and tidy person who would love to share a house with someone who I can have a drink with and have a laugh but I also want to have my own space where I can relax after uni and work. I will be both studying, working and exploring this amazing city so will not spend too much time at home. Best, Thea
I'm escaping the Sydney rat race and moving to Melbourne! Arrive in Melbourne on 24th July. I've got some friends in Melbourne, but looking for a house where I can make some more! I'm typically pretty busy with work, trying to get to the gym, and trying to cook healthy dinners, but always partial to a sneaky glass of wine or beer every now and then, and it would be cool if my future housemates were the same! I want to find somewhere I can call home, relax, chat about the day/life, but also respect others privacy. Oh and I can totally clean up after myself. On a weekend I'm into live music, catching up with friends, getting out in nature (are there beaches in Melbourne?!), and perhaps a beverage or two.
I've been in Melbourne 4 months now and am looking for a place to call home. I am currently studying full time, and work most days i'm not at uni. Tidy, clean, quiet - but enjoy socializing.
I'm doing a PhD in physics at the University of Melbourne. Australia is a very generous country so they decided to give me a salary/scholarship, which means that I can always pay my rent and bills in time, without having to rob any Woolies. In my spare time I like to do sports (running, swimming, yoga, soccer etc), annoy people around me playing my guitar, read books and travel as much as I can even if that just means going for on an adventure to the nearby pub. This is my 5th year living abroad in shared houses, before coming to Melbourne I lived in Ireland and Canada, so I am an international expert in the art of sharing a house. I value a lot the relationship with my housemates, so I'm looking for a bunch of people I can feel comfortable with, inside and outside the house, sharing dinners, drinks, lazy afternoons and any random moment life brings about. Luckily I also know how to respect others' privacy so I promise I won't follow you inside the bathroom. Living in a clean house is fundamental for me, so I hereby solemnly commit to put my efforts in keeping the place tidy and neat, and cleaning regularly.
Hey y'all! I'm 26 and studying Property and Valuation with just over a year to go!! I'm clean, easy going, fun, enjoy a chat, enjoy alone time and I'm respectful of other housemates. Have sharehoused a few times, so I know what's up. I am a student yes, but I've always paid rent on time, and also somehow have left over money to book a few holidays! Let me know if it sounds like I'd suit your house! :) Laura
Hey guys! I'm a small town girl from the Yarra valley and currently work all over metro Melbourne with my new job! I also go to Uni once a week, so I barely am home except weekends and most of that time I'll use to catch up with friends/or get to know housemates! I am so sick of the travel so I want something that's nice and close to the hustle of the City! I'm open to everhthing so holla if you think you've got the solution for me!
Easy going couple who travel a lot so only looking for a short term stay. Matt is from Melbourne and Anja is from South Africa, both working and will help in upkeep in and around the house. We like a clean space and pull our share in that regard. Non smokers. Great peeps.
Hi, I have found so many great flatmates on here and this time I'm the one looking. I have just moved back to Melbourne and I'm hoping to find a cool household of peeps that I can connect with. I've lived in share houses before and understand what needs to go down to create a good vibe and it's different with every house but often carries the same theme. I'm a Web Designer / Digital Strategist, I work for myself and travel around a bit. I play Basketball a couple of times a week, check out live music when I get the chance and go to Festival through the year too as it's a nice way to unwind. I'm from the Blue Mountains in NSW and I love the vibe in Melbourne as people down here seem really comfortable with themselves and I'm looking forward seeing who's out there. I hope I'm the right match for what you're looking for.
Hi! We're a couple who are new to Melbourne. We're hoping to find a room to share for 2-3 months while we get settled. I'm studying winemaking while also working in wine retail. Oliver is studying software engineering and is a bartender at a music venue. We've both lived in share houses for 9-10 years so we're very well house-trained. We're clean, tidy and never have any trouble paying bills on time. We're equally happy to hang out with housemates or do our own thing. We're not party animals - we're much more into enjoying good food and wine than getting rowdy. I have a lot of diverse interests - cooking, sport (especially cricket), cinema (especially foreign and independent films), music, camping and hiking, history, learning new languages, etc. I'm a bit of a trivia buff and will never say no to a pub trivia night. I'm also very open to meeting new people and trying new things. Oliver's into sports (particularly cricket and AFL), fitness, music, web dev and puppies.
