Very easy going & looking for a chill home environment. Working professional, do like quiet times but also like to socialise and looking for a place to call home. Tidy and responsible as I've housesat for many years caring for peoples homes and pets. Originally from Brisbane, now call Melbourne home
I'm very laidback and easygoing, yet extremely neat and tidy. Would like to have flatmates to kick it with sometimes as I am coming on the Work & Holiday visa from the US, and looking to meet new people! :)
I'm a super fun and easy-to-get-along-with type of person. Very chill. I'm tidy, clean up after myself and have a beautiful 2y.o cat MC who brings so much love and joy to anywhere, where we live. I work full time and am about to relocate to Melbourne to start my nursing career. I enjoy spending time by myself and with friends. In my spare time I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, going out to gigs, seeing my friends etc. and all of the finer things in life (chocolate, wine, pizza haha)! If I sound like someone you could get along with, holla!
X2 English girls needing a home!! Hellooooo! Me and my sister will be coming back to Melbourne on the 28th of January. I am 24 and she is 20! We are two backpackers on our working visas. I have lived in Melbourne before so I'm very familiar with the place! It would be great if anybody has a private room in the CBD, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Carlton or Chapel Street areas! We are hoping for a private room in a house share or apartment. $150pp is our budget but if you have something cheaper than great, but if it's a little over message either way! We are both very laid back and friendly girls, we love a laugh, and we've been travelling for a while so sharing living space is the norm - we are also very clean and respectful :) Message me if you have anything short / long term for us x
Hi! I am a Brit who is making her way across the big pond to come to Australia to live as I have a new job there. As such, looking for somewhere to stay, could be short term just whilst I find my feet or just generally to rent longer term if it was right. As I will be in a brand new place, I am absolutely up for trying out new cafes, restaurants, taking up a new hobby, and seeing and getting to know as much of Melbourne as possible. Although I like to be social and do things, I also enjoy having some chilled out time after work and quiet time with good food, good TV and a bonus if people I were sharing with enjoyed the odd conversation or two/ sharing in on the good food etc. I like to read, go to the theatre, cinema, enjoy doing various sports and as I said up for trying new hobbies as well. I'm used to sharing with other people as well as having alone time so I respect people's privacy, and I am clean and tidy. If you think I may be a good fit for your place, do get in touch!
Hi there! My name is Becky, and I'm a fine art/education student studying full time. I love a good tidy living space, and I enjoy the company of furry animals. I'm also an easygoing person with thoughtful considerations for noise levels and guests. Oh, I really do clean up, trust me, I went to a boarding school for 4 years.
Hey there, I'm a 38yo teacher recently returned from two years working the The Netherlands and travelling around Europe every chance I had. I have a 4yo hound called Billy, who keeps me moving and giggling. He's a staffy cross koolie. I like to swim, garden and get to the beach. Netflix is a winter weakness and white beers and G&Ts my summer achilles. Love to live somewhere with friendly people who like casual convos but happy to give lots of space too. I'm tidy, financially savvy and respectful. Cheers, Katy
Looking for a relaxed household to join. I recently finished my Masters of Teaching (Secondary) (History, Politics, English, Humanities) in July this year. I am currently working as a casual relief teacher and as an out of school hours carer/educator. I have also secured a full-time teaching position which starts in the new school year at the end of January 2018 - so I'm looking for somewhere a bit closer to school. I tend to keep myself pretty busy during the week! But when I do have spare time on the weekends I like to go out socialising, see live music, go to the cinema etc. or relax at home with a book, Netflix, or cook, ride my bike, day trip/road trip etc. All of the usual stuff.
I was born and raised in California, and have spent the last two years living in Vancouver where I attended University studying Communications. I've decided to take some time off school to travel a bit and visit somewhere new! I arrive to Melbourne January 1 2018. In my previous house i lived with 8 other people, so i am very conscious about keeping a shared space clean, but also understand/don't mind the occasional mess. My ideal night out would be going to see live music, an art show, or just grabbing some yummy food! At home i like to make food (i am vegan but do not mind at all living with non vegan people! I previously lived with a couple butchers), craft a little bit, and just relax! I do like to keep myself pretty busy out and about as well. Overall I am a very positive and social person! (:
Hi I'm moved down to Melbourne from Brisbane at the end of August. Me: I've been sharing for most of my life, am an actor/ex biologist, like to cook, rockclimb, try to not kill the plants, dance, spend time outdoors, watch movies and theatre, sew, yoga......stuff. Will have a job, so don't worry. I come with mostly just bedroom furniture. I have a 11year old house tibetan spaniel x border collie, Toby, who wont eat your shoes or lunch, and is fully house trained. It would be great to find some chilled, friendly, people who like to share a meal and a drink occasionally, and are maybe artistic (obviously clean, tidy, open hearted, respectful etc, but that goes without saying so...And same for me too). I am really looking for a place to call home not just a room in a house. Love to hear from you. Cheers Donna
Myself and my girlfriend are looking for some long term accommodation to move into in early 2018. Dylan currently works full time in the CBD and I work part-time in Mildura, but I am able to move down with minimal notice. Looking for a place in northern suburbs of Melbourne that is close to a train station that takes less than 30 minutes to get to Southern Cross Station. We like to keep things tidy and we are very sociable, but we do respect others privacy. We enjoy playing video games, board games and listening to music. We both like to cook and enjoy having dinner with others. Please message if you think that we’d make a good fit for you and we can organise a time to catch up. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a 23 yo Colombian guy. I'm a Pastry Chef and I'm doing my master at Unimelb. I work part-time and I like to spend my free time hanging out with friends, swimming, going to the gym, reading and sharing good laughs. I'm very tidy and responsible, I like to have my own space but also to share with my housemates to have a friendly connivence. I'm a chef and love cooking for someone else.. I guess that's a bonus =)!
Hi! I'm Rebecca. I moved to Melbourne about a month ago and work full time as a research assistant. I like to stay pretty busy when I’m not working- meeting up w people or exploring the city. I also love cooking and baking when I find the time. I'm always looking for a nice spot to be outside and like to stay active. I love going out but also love just hanging out and watching Netflix (maybe with a drink as well :)). I would consider myself a pretty laid back housemate and definitely very considerate and clean. I like being social with my housemates but am also respectful of others' spaces!
I have been living in Melbourne since January when I moved from Canberra and am studying/working full time in hospitality meaning that I spend a lot of time out of the house. I'm easy going and am happy to be social but also appreciate having time to myself. I enjoy cooking and like to keep shared spaces tidy. Currently in Prahran but looking to find a place in the North with a car space sometime in mid-late January.
I am a 30 year old professional who works full time for a Royal Medical College in East Melbourne. When I'm not working I love exploring Melbourne and socialising with my friends and family. Lynsey =^.^=
I'm moving to Melbourne from Canberra on 6 January 2018 to start a new, ongoing full-time research job at Monash University. I have a dog, so I'm looking for a house with a yard or large courtyard, and a pet-friendly housemate/s. I'm a single gay guy into movies, music, gym, art, and history, and a considerate, quiet housemate who is experienced in share-house living. Barkley's full time occupation is bouncing around the yard and generally being adorable; he’s a large, affectionate husky/heeler who loves attention. He sheds a bit of hair, but overall he is a great housemate! I have a big squat rack, benches, weights etc which I can either bring or sell, depending on space restrictions. I can also bring or sell couches, bookshelves, etc. I spend most of my time being active - either at work, walking Barkley, at the gym, writing music (with headphones!) or going out, but also enjoy a spot of communal-area lounging/vegging on occasion. I would ideally like to find someone who is up for the odd chat/movie/meal/beer, but also values independence, peace and privacy. I like to keep communal areas clean (especially the kitchen/bathroom) but am easy-going and drama-free. I am tidy, respectful and a good communicator. While I'll be working out at Clayton campus, I want to find somewhere close to the city, so I can enjoy the Melbourne lifestyle. Please contact me if this sounds good to you!
I'm a 26 traveller from Taiwan. I'm tidy person and always keep the place nice and neat. Love music and social life, used to be a vocalist in a band back to Taiwan. Into hard-rock, post-rock, metal...etc. But don't worry, I won't burst up the house by my personal music preference. I'm also enjoy my personal time. I travelled from Brisbane to Melbourne and trying to get a job around CBD that can allow me to explore the city more. Very interested in the area like Collingwood, Fitzroy, and Brunswick. Especially the graffiti, the antique style, Baroque building. I'm looking for a place to stay around CBD, where has good transportation. Within 30 mins travelling time to CBD is my first priority.
Hello, I am looking for a happy household to join for at least a year or so. I don't have pets of my own, but am an animal lover. Non-smoker, but don't mind living with outside smokers, am clean, tidy, friendly and organised. I work full-time as an editor and writer, learn Italian, love music, eat healthily, and get out for a long walk down along the river nearly every day. I enjoy going out with friends, having people over for a meal occasionally, and am busy with several writing projects outside of work. I am looking for somewhere that stays fairly cool in summer, and quiet at night, so not too close to main streets. Look forward to hearing from you!
