Hey my name's Harry. I'm 22 years old and am a full-time student at RMIT. I'm from Torquay and am intending to move to Melbourne relatively soon to study a masters degree in public policy. I'm very respectful of others and always clean up after myself; I also get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy socialising. During a typical week I'll be mainly studying, going to the gym, playing video games, and having friends over here and there. On weekends I tend to enjoy either going out/seeing people, or just hanging around the house/playing video games if I'm feeling like a quiet one.
Hello potential future roommate! I'm in need for a place to live ASAP! I'm currently living an hour away from the city down South and looking for a place closer to the city to benefit my travelling for work. A bit about myself… I'm a Gemini who loves chocolate and tea. I graduated high school last year and chose to go on a gap year with the intention to study further in the future. I’m receiving Centrelink payments and will look for a job if I do get chosen for a room. People say I'm effortless to live with as I clean up after myself, respect the people I live with and their belongings. I also find myself confronting problems when it arises. I describe myself as a very clumsy easy outgoing person who loves company but also likes time alone. I love animals so I’m fine living with them. I love being outdoors and up for anything. At the moment, I work as a model and do singing every weekend. If you would like to know more about me or suit to what you are looking for feel free to message me.
We are 24/25, are both from the UK and have been together for 9 years (cue the gasps of shock)! We lived in London for a couple of years but decided that now was the time to see more of the world! Although we haven't got jobs in Melbourne as we speak, we plan to have this lined up by the time we land. We are down to earth, friendly, sociable, and enjoy leading a busy lifestyle. Outside of work, we love to run, go to the gym, read, chill out watching films and enjoy a drink or two. We have both lived in shared accommodation before so are aware of household etiquette (if that's what it's called) and are keen to do so again in Melbourne!
Hello! I've just moved to Melbourne after having spent the last decade split between California, Finland and Germany. I am searching for an affordable, furnished or partially furnished room in a flat or house share.(If need be, I can also furnish a room, don't hesitate to write!). I'm flexible with regard to rental length as well, whether something shorter or longer term. I translate and edit professionally, so I am occasionally around at home to do that, although more often than not I'm out and about working or exploring. I'm increasingly involved in music production and web design as well professionally and for myself. I like to play ice hockey and music (with headphones at home, with amplifiers elsewhere ;)). I'm quite interested in politics, science, tech and the world at large. I am tidy, responsible and quiet. I'm happy to socialise with housemates, and it's nice to catch up for a meal together and to be able to chat. I enjoy cooking and baking a bit. I don't have pets or kids, am consistently employed, and can pay rent/bills/bond on time. I'd prefer to live with people who don't smoke indoors as I don't smoke myself. I am bilingual (German/English) and happy to practise Finnish and French if you're keen. It would be lovely to keep up/brush up on languages :) I am quite flexible with regard to location so long as good public transit connections are nearby, as I do not own a car (although I am after a bike here soon :)) and am fully at the mercy of Melbourne's trains, trams and buses for now ;) Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!
Hi everyone, My little dog Sonny (7 year old mini foxie) and I are moving to Melbourne from Perth in August. I realise it's probably a little early to be posting but just in case. I am looking for a pet friendly rental within 20-30 mins of the city. I would also need parking and having had the luxury of living Perth for so many years I have become rather accustomed to the warm climate therefore I would definitely a place with heating! If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be really grateful. Ideally I'm looking for my own place but if that's not affordable and someone has a room to offer in a clean and pet friendly home (she's an indoor dog, used to having a dog door and coming/going as she pleases) I'd love to hear from you. Anything you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks in advance, Soph & Sonny
- neat, tidy and clean - newish to Melbourne from interstate - health professional - length of stay 9+ months - car park required (off street would be ideal)
Hi, I'm looking for a place that I can share with a friend. We are neat and tidy people and love to go out to meet up with friends and just have a good time. My friend and I are from India, living in Melbourne since 6 months. We both are studying Masters in University of Melbourne and RMIT respectively. We are friendly, respectful, trustworthy, reliable and at the same time, we respect each other's privacy. We love meeting new people and enjoy a laugh! We like to have our friends over at times but at the same time, we prefer to keep it silent. As we are working and studying it keeps us away from home most of the time. We would like to live in a friendly household.
I'm a fun cultured lad from London, lived and worked around the world and looking to move in with some cool people! I'm not the kind to hide in my room all day, I'm social and always up for a mingle, but also respect people's private space. I enjoy sports, watching movies, eating out and so on. Currently working in the city and looking to move in asap. If I've missed anything, just ask!
I am a good housemate because im friendly, i like getting to know new people. I like to occasionally share meals with housemates if they want to. I don't mind if other housemates have pets. I generally like a quiet house during the week but i don't mind too much on the weekends. I currently study and work so pretty busy but i am always keen to get to know my housemates when i have time. I enjoy golf and cooking and i like to spend time with my girlfriend when i can. I also enjoy catching up with my friends when i can for dinner or drinks.
Hi everyone! My name is Christian, I'm a 21 year old Canadian exchange student, just finished up my semester abroad at Monash. Couldn't say goodbye to Australia just yet so I'm staying to work (where is still tbd, but likely an office job in the CBD) until September 1. I live in a shared house back in Canada, so flatmates is something I'm very familiar with. I'm very clean and courteous with common spaces. I usually keep my door open, always up for a chat or a pint. Hope to speak with you sometime soon. Cheers!
Hello! Looking for a room in the north to move in preferably around the end of May, but flexible with dates. I'm a music grad who is left wing and eats meat, and am working part time in retail plus doing a bit of freelance work. Have lived in share houses before and am tidy + reliable with cleaning up and paying rent before it's due. I'm after a fairly chill/quiet place, but totally fine with the odd party. A house where I could practice when housemates are out would be ideal, but I do have other options for practice if that's not possible. Fave things include hommus, hatin on the libs and the aussie far right and listening to the beautiful voice of Kevin parker. If you think I'd fit in with your house vibe gimme a hoy.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Looking for a houseshare with clean, friendly people. I work pretty standard weekday hours and enjoy exploring local pubs, places to eat and cafes. Also enjoy watching and playing sports, particularly racket sports.
I work at APRA AMCOS which is all about helping songwriters and musicians by giving them money and opportunities and education. I also coach a women's footy team, and play for the Old Bar Unicorns, and love exploring Melbourne suburbs and photography. I have sharehoused for a long time, and am respectful, self-sufficient, self-cleaning and courteous and affable.
I'm pretty decent at cooking and love eating (particularly cakes and chocolate). I enjoy being out and about and exploring. I'm super clean, tidy and pretty fun to live with 😬 I have a little cat called Banana Pants who is even more fun to live with. I'm currently studying so that's why I'm needing to move, my trek across the city to college is getting old!
I'm very easy going. Work full time, gym or social things most nights. I'm happy to share a meal or two but I'm also very happy to do my own thing. I'm pretty quiet at home. I'm neat and tidy but not pedantic about it.
Hi There, I'm a 27 year old male who moved to Australia in Dec of 2014 from Boston, MA. I work fulltime at T2 so always have plenty of free tea to share. I have a girlfriend who currently commutes to Geelong to study medicine but is looking to get a place down there so I am looking for a flat mate/flat mates to help out with rent. I'm also always interested in meeting new people and figure this would be a good way to do so as well. I personally try and stay active, going to the gym, and playing ice hockey every Friday night during the season. I enjoy having a beer on weekends and am pretty laid back and flexible. Other hobbies of mine include travelling, sports and live music. The house I'm in now, we currently airbnb our extra room, so I'm used to keeping a place clean and welcoming. I do have 2 kittens (about 6 months old now as of May'17) so would like a place with a courtyard so they can enjoy the outdoors. I currently live in Richmond and love it but would be open to any other suburbs as long as I can easily bike or get to work which is in Collingwood. I hope this gives you a brief picture of who I am and hope you think we'll be a good fit. Please feel to reach out with any other questions.
I am 23 years old, I am an English student and I would like to improve my English, spend most of the time working but I like to enjoy and go to party time in time, I am chill and open mind. I really like having good conversations and sharing time with friends.
Hi, I am Justin! Looking for a new place as my landlord will auction off the apartment this month. Ideally, I am looking for people to team up and start share apartment in Collingwood. Easy access to public transport is top priority. I work full time as an analyst for a transport company in Collingwood. I have a regular routine lifestyle; gym and work take up most of my time. Love to hang out with my mates but will never bring the party back home. I'm pretty casual, laid-back and tidy, tend to get along great with people who don't take themselves too seriously. Most important of all, I have good common sense =)
I am a very clean, considerate and easy to get along with. I enjoy having a chat and socialising, but am also very respectful of personal space/time. I am from the Sunshine Coast (QLD) but recently relocated to Melbourne for work. I would prefer my own bathroom but am flexible if it's the right house, I don't want to live with a couple. I leave earlish in the morning for work, so I need to live somewhere with transport close by :).
Looking for a room with own bathroom. My name is Habiba, I am 25. I work in IT as a service deliver manager. I am friendly, laid back, easy going but most of all, I am self aware. I respect personal space and other's life. I am passionate about fitness so will most likely spend my early mornings at the gym and most of the day at work. Weekdays are pretty quiet (often in bed before 11pm). On the weekends, I like to explore. I enjoy a drink every now and then but I will probably pass on a rave. Anyway, I'd hate to brag but like my mom says I am good girl and her favorite 😀 If this sounds like what you are looking for in a flatmate please let me know and we'll take it from there. Thanks, Habiba
