G'day! 29 year old nurse, big time chuckler who is easy going, clean (I enjoy the satisfaction of the cleaning and don't care about cleaning up after others, I do it for me, you can reap the benefits) who gets a real kick out of being responsible (paying the bills on time, buying common items etc). Big fan of : - Indoor plants and outdoor plants aka parks - Cooking and eating (thanks Nona) - TV (Nathan for You, It's Always Sunny, The Simpsons and Seinfeld on heavy rotation) - Pints and pool (striking the right balance where the flukes start to feel like real talent) - Laughing until my belly hurts and no sound is coming out
We are a fun couple looking for a large room in an established share house or housemates willing to start a place with us. Nick works full time as an economist and Charlotte works part time in hospitality and finished her Masters of Social Policy this year. We are easy going and enjoy quality banter, craft beer, footy, getting out and about and going to gigs. Monday to Friday is low key filled with exercise and watching the Bachelor or Survivor. We are clean, respectful of others and can meet deadlines. Also make a mean caramel slice. About you: We are looking for housemates who we hope to call friends who are happy to socialise while being respectful of space also. Ideally you are clean, a good communicator and be able to meet payment deadlines. About the house: We are looking for a house or townhouse with plenty of space to ensure we aren't living on top of one another. Nick also has plenty of furniture and appliances including a fridge, washing machine, dryer, everything for the kitchen and a coffee table. If you are interested or have any questions send us a message! Cheers, Charlotte and Nick.
I'm Kat to my friends, I'm currently working in the public sector but have worked in hospitality and a little in TV production for a long while before that in various spots around Aus. I've been back in Melbourne for a little under two years and am looking for a place to settle and call home for the foreseeable future. I love to cook (I'm told my food is pretty good :) - I'm not a vego but generally cook vegetarian food. I love music, indoor plants, veggie gardens, dogs, yoga, brunch with friends, talks/shows that make me think or laugh. I'm also studying psychology part time.
I work full time in the city as a Business analyst. In my spare time I love reading, music, taking long walks in nature, catching up with friends, playing scrabble, crosswords, cooking. I am respectful and neat, great company for witticisms but also love my own space and give others theirs. Not looking for a party house but a beautiful shared space to call home.
i am a fully employed professional. I have my own home in the Macedon Ranges where I spend my weekends. I am looking to rent a room in Melbourne during the week. I have an office in the CBD but need the convenience of an inner city bedroom, bathroom and carpark. I have my own life and grown up family and all of the above keep me busy. I am rarely in Melbourne on weekends so my footprint is light. I am house trained.
Hello, I'm Luke, I'm a 29yo optometrist originally from the outer south east Melbourne suburbs though I haven't lived in Melbourne permanently for almost 6 years now since I finished uni. I'm looking to move back to inner city Melbourne and find a job in Melbourne after spending the last year working as a fly in-fly out locum optometrist around Australia. Before that I spent 18m holidaying in Europe and working in hospitality in Britain and before that I lived in Bendigo for about 3 years. As a housemate I'm sociable, respectful, cleaner than 80-90% of the general population. My interests include cycling/fitness, music/playing guitar, interesting/intelligent conversation/politics.
Hello there! I’m 25, work full time in the city, volunteer for a queer youth charity, and love dancing, cooking, travel and curious conversations. I’m a non-smoker and eat everything. My ideal day off? Yoga, eggs benedict, galleries/markets/wandering, wine with pals and soul-warming music, and a hearty boogie to some disco/reggaeton/trashy pop. I’m looking for a happy, queer-friendly, laidback, clean home. I’m always up for a housemate dinner or dfloor excursion, but equally happy chilling out in my own space. Ideally I’m hoping to move in mid-January, and then for my fab girlfriend Em to join the house in early March (she’s away at the mo and happy to Skype into interviews - you will love her, she’s a ray of sunshine!). Happy to be flexible with rent, timing etc. Cheers and have a glorious day!
I'm a 35-year old marketer working with tech start-ups. After years of climbing the corporate ladder, I'm now cultivating a more relaxed job sitch doing 2 part time jobs and working from home a couple of days. I do the social / homebound balance pretty well. I get out on the weekends for hiking, camping, surfing, festivals or seeing a gig/having a boogie. When I'm not out amongst it or singing with my choir, I'm at home with a book and a vino. I'm building a vinyl collection (mostly jazz) and have a pretty sweet turntable. My ace card is the cutest little doggo you'll ever meet. People stop me on the street to pet him. He's a 6 kgs little silky terrier with a big personality. 10 years old, but still acts like he's 5. I'm a dual citizen (yankee, but the good kind). And after 2 years on the south side, I can't wait to get back to my native north side. #FuckActivewear #LoveASoyLatte Over to you...! :)
We’re looking for two rooms for two super friendly, respectful and just generally good humans. I’m Ashlee and I’m studying Chinese Medicine, and Kat is studying Nutrition. We’re looking for a friendly place to call home for a year or two (or more) that is chill and on the quieter side... and hopefully has a backyard. We prefer a tidy home, but we’re not total neat freaks. We’re into recycling, composting and looking after the earth in any way we can. You’ll either find us studying, working at our casual jobs, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or doing some yoga in the back yard.
Hello Melbourne, An English guy goes to the doctor because he wants to become Irish. The doctor tells him he has a surgery for that... “What we’ll do is remove 20% of your brain and you’ll be good as Irish.” After the surgery the doctor calls the patient in to tell him - "Sorry, but we made a mistake during your surgery. Instead of taking 20%, that’s how much we left you with." And the patient like... “Ahhh no worries, mate!” I'm British and Australian so calm down. Others may fairly accurately describe me as an adventurous geek, among other more or less pleasant things. But in general I'm a positive-natured, open minded and down-to-earth kind of guy. A few of the things that I enjoy to do are rock climbing, festivals and the occasional night out. Also work full time for Australia post. Home to me is a place where i can relax, share good times with those around me and let loose when the occasion calls. As a roommate you'll find I'm always down for a good chin wag over a $5 bottle of Aldi wine. I enjoy cooking up the occasional feast and I'm always down to lend a helping hand. I also think its important to be respectful of boundaries and keep shared spaces and my own reasonably tidy. Currently looking for 2-3 others to team up with and find a place to lease, shoot me a message if you'd be interested.
I am Coel, a 27 year old human in search of a new home. I currently live and work in Abbotsford and enjoy convenience, hence I would prefer to stay in the area, but open to surrounding suburbs. I work for a digital marketing agency and love my job, outside of work I am passionate about all aspects of health, a self confessed sport nut, have recently started competing in Jiujitsu, currently digging cycling and yoga as well. I love to challenge my self and I believe strongly in the constant development of all aspects of your life that are important to you, and prefer to surround myself with like minded people. I'm looking for somewhere to call home. not interested in large share houses, can go as high as $400 per week rent, how ever would prefer to pay less. I'm a clean, courteous, guy with a chilled out nature - If you think we might be a good match please get in touch.
I am 18 years old and working part time, I'm moving from Adelaide to Melbourne to study the Bachelor of Arts Photography! So I'm hoping to find a place with people who are like-minded or anyone who's looking for a respectful house mate. I'm a very tidy person who likes to clean up after themselves but I'm not a germ freak! I tend to keep to myself a bit by staying in bed a lot and watching movies but I would love to cook dinner and have a few drinks with housemates as well so its either way But yeah I take photos on film a lot, I enjoy food and coffee and I love making new friends and meeting different/interesting people!
I am in my 30's and work as a Receptionist at a Hotel. Outside of work I enjoy exercising, catching up with friends and family. I also enjoy doing creative things and love to travel. I am an easy going person who is respectful and considerate of others. I am also very clean and tidy. I am a friendly person who enjoys a chat over a wine but am also independent.
Hi, my name is Vova, I'm a 26 y.o. male. Originally I'm from Ukraine. I'm in my final stage of PhD in statistics. I'm also doing an internship with ABS. During the weekdays you can often find me reading a book, playing video games or watching TV series. On the weekends I tend to travel or spend time with my friends. I'm friendly, easy-going and get along with most people. I'm always down for occasional drinks or a dinner with my housemates.
Hi, I'm Lara! My current housemate Anna and I are looking to move out of our established houseshare and find a new place to live and some like-minded people to share it with! A bit about us, we enjoy cooking meals together (vego is the go), chats over wine, music and crafts!! lol. We like to have a few drinks and go to gigs on the weekend and occasionally after work/uni. Though probably not really a party house and appreciate restraint during the week. We are both full-time students and workers so we do enjoy our solitude as well and respect each other's privacy. Basically, we're just looking for another person that is self-sufficient, housetrained and easygoing. We are friends rather than housemates and genuinely love the experience of living with supportive and fun housemates. If this sounds like a Household you'd enjoy, we'd love to hear from you. PS. it took me an HOUR to find a suitable pic of the two of us for this site and we still look insane so please forgive and trust that we are not xxx
Given I'm rather biased on the matter, and I have an agenda of hoping you'll like me, I'm not particularly the most trustworthy authority on whether or not I'm good to live with, but please do read on. I'm a full time Account Manager, part time Acting Student. I stay rather busy but I do like to be home when I have a spare moment. In my free time I'm generally reading fiction, or books on acting, going for walks, analysing my existence. I like to eat mainly healthy but I'm flexible. (inconsistent some might say) I do like the more natural alternatives to everything, am in love with doTerra essential oils, sometimes make my own body butters & scrubs, wash my face with bi-carb soda etc. (am partial to the occasional burning of incense, but am more than happy to go without if you're not a fan) Am a fairly open minded individual, love a good discussion about life's ultimate questions, but am happy to stick to the weather if it's that kind of day for you. Love a wine or a beer to unwind at the end of a working day. I'm not a party girl, I think I'm more of a hermit (or an introvert), but I do love the odd evenings with a lovely group of people and few too many drinks. I only moved to Melbourne at the beginning of the year to pursue my acting studies, so am not fully acquainted with Melbourne just yet and don't have a big group of friends.

I'm a very social girl however I'm not looking for a party house because of shift work. If I sound like someone you might like to live with let me know :)
I'm a friendly, clean and quiet personal trainer and Pilates instructor. I've lived in Melbourne my whole life and recently come back from overseas travel and looking for somewhere to live that's inner-city with a couple of easygoing housemates. I come with a lovely dog named Gertrude, she is a 1.5 year old staghound. She's super chilled out and loves anyone and everyone. I enjoy cooking, reading, a few wines on the weekend and hanging out with my friends and dog.
