I’m Andy - moving to Sydney this year from North Eastern NSW to study a Master of Environmental Science. Ive just got back from a couple of years travelling, living, and working overseas in South America and Asia. Before this I lived in Brisbane for my Bachelors degree, first on-campus and then share-housing with friends. I’m pretty excited about the move to Sydney and am hoping to find a room close to USyd with some good housemates. I’ll be studying and working to support myself, but keen to have a couple of drinks on the weekends, cook dinners together, play cards, listen to some music, and support the mighty Waratahs/Swans. I’m pretty tidy, like my music, enjoy reading, as well watching and playing sport. Looking to move in late Jan/early Feb and get myself settled before uni starts in March.
Hi everyone, I’m a fun exciting person from South Australia. Been living with friends for 4 months here in Sydney and think it’s time to change. I’d prefer to live with minimal females due to having to live with many for my whole life so I’d like to stay somewhat clear; unless they have a dude-like sense of humour and can hang out with me and have a conversation. I work pretty hard so I’m basically Houdini because of the hours I work which is generally 12hrs 5-6 days a week. I’d love to live with layed back people who can have fun, respect boundaries and clean up after themselves. I’m young and living in a beautiful city so I want to have fun which doesn’t always mean drinking; but definitely just enjoy myself. Obviously respecting boundaries and noise but I’m not here to be treated like I’m living with my parents 😄😄 I love to clean, I am a Chef, straightforward, honest and very loving to those I care about; so straight up down to earth house mate, in return I’d love to get to know you and have a great time before I leave for the states in June! Hope I hear from you and hopefully become house mates! ❤️❤️
Hi my name is Olivia. Im 26 and originally from Tassie! I’m a full time Quality Assurance Worker in a large seafood company. I’m outgoing , however do enjoy time to myself. In my spare time I like to read books, drink a good glass of wine and learn Japanese . I’m a clean and organised person. I have experience in a share house previously
Hey guys! I'm a female medical student at UNSW. I'm from Oslo, Norway, but in Sydney this semester as an exchange student. I’m looking for a place to call home whilst I’m in Sydney, preferably furnished and within walking distance to the Randwick hospitals and the beach. Hovewer, taking the bus is not a problem at all :) I'm easy to get along with and respectful to my flatmates and neighbours. I love the outdoors and especially all the wonderful beaches and hikes in the Sydney area. I’m also a big foodie and I don’t mind a chat over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Please don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any further questions about me or if you want me as your flatmate/tenant :) Hope to hear from you soon!
**LOOKING FOR 2 PRIVATE ROOMS ASAP (Near USYD and Train Stn)** Hello! My friend and I are making the move from Perth to Sydney and we are looking for a place to move in together (2 private rooms) around the suburbs of Redfern, Surry Hills area. I have a job in line working at Westmead's Children's Hospital, whereas my friend will be commencing Postgrad med at USyd. Being close to a train station would be ideal. We are super outgoing, friendly, chill and relaxed, and would love to make new friends. We would like to live with someone who is friendly, open-minded and who we can do things together, as well as respecting each others own space. We also like a flatmate who likes to be clean and tidy, trustworthy and considerate. Any more information please feel free to contact me. Here's to hoping it will be a smooth transition to the East!
I’m Brazilian, 32, motorcycle rider, work full time with solar energy all over Sydney and away sometimes. I’m in Australia for 3 and a half years already, after 7 lived in London, making friends is easy for me, but I keep and respect my space and the other’s as well. I go out to hang with my friends most of the time, like to socialize at home sometimes but not really into a hardcore party house. For me home has to be and feel home, clean, easy, personal space with people that are happy to chat while cooking. I do cook a lot myself, love my Brazilian bbq as well as every cuisine in the world and deeply appreciate a cold beer, red wine and old fashion. I worked in hospitality for 10 year so I also make my own cocktails. I’m hoping to find a place with active and interesting people as well, respect and space is everything, but in the end of the day is great to know that whenever a opportunity for a chat comes there is a good vibe, nothing worse than feel tedious or annoyed when get home on a Friday evening. I have no preference of whom to live with, males or females, peoples sexual orientation is not even a question for me. I’m atheist and straight myself with no issue with people’s spirituality since they aren’t the radical ones. Well, I guess I covered all general characteristics of my person, I’m happy to have a good chat and go from there. Thanks for taking the time to go through this.
I am currently living on the south coast commuting to work in Surry Hills, on the hunt for a cosy place with a good vibe that I can deck out with plants and call home. Would love the idea of getting a dog down the road but at this stage I will be dogless.
Hi all! Ivan and I are two mates originally from Canberra and are looking for a place together in Sydney. We have both finished our studies and will be working full-time. (Both of us in Finance). We both have many years of house share experience and have never had a single complaint or bad experience. We're both really neat, tidy and clean people and so easy to get a long with! But we also understand respecting people and their privacy. We're looking for a place to call home and not just somewhere to crash at the end of the day. We're not party people but we do enjoy hanging out and having a drink whenever theres time. Both super chill and open-minded guys having done plenty of travel in the past! We are looking for 2 separate rooms.
Hey! I’m andrew, 27, and work in contracts management! Looking for a tidy share place, where roommates don’t mind the odd drink and coversation around sport or any show/movie we are watching. Like to exercise regularly and be out majority of the weekend!
Hi, I'm currently living in Melbourne but am relocating to Sydney to work full-time at a job I commence in April. I'm looking to move and get settled in prior to starting my job - so ideally I'm looking to move in by around the middle of March. I consider myself to be very easy to get along - I'm largely a people person. I'm respectful of those around me and take ownership for duties. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and going for a run (rarely), or unwinding watching a movie or light reading. I sometimes cook, I enjoy going out and meeting new people.
I currently work for a prominent arts venue in Brisbane so I spend a lot of my time watching theatre, film, live music, movies, comedy etc. I am moving to Sydney to work in a similar industry. I am a pretty typical inner city person– I like yoga, a cheeky wine and socialising. I am clean, respectful and have a fairly relaxed attitude.
Hello! My name is Lucia and I moved to Sydney with my boyfriend Gabriele three months ago. We are both from Trieste, a city in northern Italy and we moved to Australia with a working holiday visa. Gabriele used to work on boats in Trieste and I just got my degree as a dietitian. Gabriele works in a company in Sydney City Marine and I work as a medical assistant in a private clinic. We are frendly and easy going. We love sports and travelling. At home, we are tidy and clean and we respect the privacy of our flatmates. We hope to find a wonderful place to live in and great flatmates.
Hi my name is Sarah and I am a medical student/ part time worker thats looking for a place around the Eastern Suburbs or closer to Sydney University. I have lived in shared accommodation for 2 years prior to 2017, and over the last 12 months I have been a live-in nanny for a family that I worked for. Despite how much I loved living with them, my work and uni hours make it difficult to continue working for their family. I will be continuing to live with them until I find a new perfect home, so the move in day is flexible :) About me! To be honest, I study and work lots!. I spend long days at uni or work and at home I really want somewhere to relax and be stress free for a bit. I am a runner and enjoy sport as well, so you'll find me leaving most mornings at 5am to do some form of exercise. I love cooking and baking as well, and in my previous places, its always been a win! I eat way too much smashed avo, so I'll never afford a house mortgage and love catching up with friends for lunch, a walk at the beach or over coffee :) I am not a huge partier and do not smoke. I'd rather live in a non-smoker place. I am also a vegetarian, but its not a huge deal if you aren't! (I just know that some people keyword that in their searches :)) What I am looking for- from my previous experience in share houses.... * I am looking for a person/people to live with that are clean, tidy and organised * As I said, I'm not a huge party person so I'm not really looking for people who plan on having groups of people over for drinks often at the last minute * female only and around my age *probably only a 2-3 bedroom place * Something kinda long term (at least a year) I have great relationships with my previous housemates and I hope that that can be the case with you as well! If you have a spare room or are looking for someone to meet and possibly find a place together with- please contact me! I'd love to meet up! Sarah :)
Hello, I am looking to team up with another female to rent a house in the innerwest. I am friendly, social ( but also enjoy chill time too ) and work in the creative industry. Message me if you think we could be housemates or would like some more information.
Hi, I'm James, a young full time professional. I'm looking for a share house in the Inner West from April onwards. I'm super easy to live with, generally because I spend my time at work, going for a run, or at brunch with friends. I'm past the age of wanting to party hard, so if you are looking for a quiet, reliable and friendly housemate please make contact with me.
Hi future flatmates! I'm Kelly (27) and I'm originally from New Jersey, USA. I'm currently in Australia on the Work and Holiday Visa and am looking for short-term accommodation in Sydney's Inner West suburbs. I just recently returned to Australia after a month of traveling through New Zealand. I plan on staying in Sydney for at least 3 months. For fun, I love to cook (I always make enough to share!), spend time outdoors, binge-watch Youtube, and go on adventures. I'm quiet, respectful, and tidy. I'm a non-smoker and prefer to live with other non-smokers, or those who smoke outdoors. I like my privacy but I'm always up for sharing a glass of wine or grabbing dinner together with my flatmates!
Hellooo, I have recently moved from Brisbane to Sydney to study at Notre Dame University. I am easy-going and love to socialise, however, I also respect the space of others'. I'm clean, tidy, and will always help out around the house and do my fair share of chores. On my weekends I will either be playing sport, soaking in some rays at the beach, brunchin' with friends, or studying. Thanks :)
Hi, I am a gentle and trustworthy person looking for a lovely home with beautiful nature surrounds. I wish to share with other respectful flatmates, who are independent yet welcoming. I enjoy studying, swimming, snorkelling, walking along the beach and taking photos of the sunrise. I am fairly quiet and happy doing my own thing most of the time, and also want to live with others who I can enjoy sharing a home with. I prefer to share with one or two long term tenants, and usually feel more comfortable with other females. I am looking for short term accomodation for now, as I am hoping to travel in winter, however if I find the right place, I would love to stay longer term. Thanks, Pip
I'm 25, clean and tidy, and respectful of personal space. I enjoy live music, relaxed nights at home, catching up with friends over good food and a glass of wine, and various other activities! I'm a full-time pathology lab technician working at RPA! My work involves a shift work roster between the hours of 6am-10pm, 7 days a week, so sometimes you may not see me for a few days at a time. I pay my rent and bills on time, don't have any pets (although this makes me sad), don't smoke, and have a car so would prefer somewhere that has off-street parking or plenty of on-street parking available. I've put my preferred length of stay as 6 months, but this is a minimum and would prefer somewhere that I can live long term with $300 per week being my maximum for a room. Would prefer an unfurnished room or a room that is flexible with furnishings as I have all of my own bedroom furniture. I'll need to give my current housemate and property manager some notice when I find a place so if you think I might be a great fit in your home and have a room available from early February onwards, please contact me!
I am a 32 year old female who moved to Sydney from the UK a couple of years ago and am now looking for somewhere new to call home. I am very sociable and easy to get along on with but also completely appreciate that everyone needs their own space at times and somewhere where they can enjoy their own down time :) In my spare time I love exploring more of what Sydney has to offer with friends, as well as travelling (when I can!) enjoying good food; wine; socialising and keeping fit. I own a 2 year old rescue cat called Millie and so am really hoping for somewhere pet friendly so that I can take her with me :) Millie is sooo well behaved though that she really would fit in well with any new home! I am ideally looking for a furnished property with a balcony / garden and possibly a pool (getting greedy now I know!) either to rent on my own or with another housemate or 2. If you think you may have something suitable for me then please do get in contact and I look forward to hearing from you as well as meeting you soon :)
