Hi all, my name is Dylan. Recently graduated uni, and working hospitality 4-5 days a week in the city. I've been a part of the sharehouse game for quite some time, throughout uni, and am looking to make the jump from the southeast to the wonderful northern suburbs! I'm a Tasmanian, and go back a few times a year to visit the trees and endearing bogans. I enjoy a few quiet beers, bbqs, gardening, vegging out with a book on a comfy rug or patch of grass, hiking, roadtrips and tacos. I also like to tinker with things and am a real fan of the versatility of milk crates. I have a decent lot of experience with sharehousing, and can be social or quiet as the house mood calls for. Currently looking for a place in the vicinity of a year, but I am flexible in this regard. To have a new place arranged around the 4th Dec would be great, but not essential. Hit me up if you think I'd make a good match for your place!
Heyyyy my names Elisha I am a 31 yr old looking for a place to live :D I am a gamer so honestly spend most of my time gaming, but don't mind getting out of the house now and again for the beach or a cute bar. I love pets so of you have any sort of pet I consider it a definite plus :D I love Rick + Morty, The Simpsons (if you need someone who will give you a stream of constant Simpsons quotes I am your girl), Adventure time... pretty much any cartoons tbh. I loveeee music wayy to many genres to list, mostly EDM but a lot of bands and stuff as well, if you want to share new music with me it would actually make my day. I should probably mention I am awkward and anxious until you get to know me then I am more than happy to hang out for a meal, drink, chats etc. I do have some specific requirements I need somewhere with NBN preferably FTTP, I stream games on Twitch so I need an upload of at least 5mbps preferably more. This also means I need space to set up my desk and equipment so either a largish bedroom room or a quiet space in the house. I also need air conditioning due to a medical condition, so preferably in room but I am open to options. I am easy on location but these two are a must :) I don't work due to medical conditions, so I am home most of the day, paying rent/utilities is 100% not a problem so please don't let this put you off, I am happy to discuss further if you are at all concerned :) My lease time is flexible I'd prefer 6months with option to stay on longer, but I am happy to sign for 12months in the right place.
Hi, I am Erin - a 30 y/o professional female - and have just moved back to Melbourne. I will be staying with family until I find the right place, so no rush! I am super friendly, respectful, outgoing, courteous and clean. I would prefer to have just one or two housemates, now I am getting a little older, but would be open to more. I spend a lot of time at work or at the gym - or out for brunch with friends - my home is more like my sanctuary, where I escape it all. I will be travelling a fair bit for my job - so I am searching for a trustworthy, professional housemate that I can share a home with when I am in Melbourne, and not away. I have done the housemate thing plenty of times - so know the ropes pretty well :) Let me know if you think I would be an ok fit to your dynamic home :)
Hi I'm Tee, I'm 24 from the UK and I'll be moving to Melbourne in January to start studying veterinary medicine at unimelb. I'm super easy going, very tidy, always up for hanging out - going to gigs or out for drinks. Music is a big deal for me as is red wine! I'll be new to the city and keen to make the most of it!
I am friendly and respectful person, careful to take care of wherever I live. I like a friendly chat with my flatmates but I also respect other people privacy. I recently relocated to Melbourne from Perth and studying law part time. In my free time I like dancing and being outdoors. I am looking for minimum 2 to 3 months accomodation with possible extension.
Hi there! My name is Eugene, I have recently completed my BA in Canberra at ANU and am moving to Melbourne early next year to begin my Masters study in Design Strategy and Innovation at Swinburne. Devouring music (particularly of the electronic persuasion) and reading takes up most of my spare time. I love Melbourne's vibe and am looking forward to exploring and embracing all it has to offer. I am good for a chat and (reportedly) an organised and tidy person. I can also keep to myself when necessary - always handy in a share house! I look forward to meeting you :-)
Hi, I'm Celeste, 23 y/o! I'm super active, I work in the sports industry and am moving up to the City from Geelong in February. Looking for a nice place east of the city. Non smoker, drama free and easy to live with!
I'm a graphic designer and I run my own freelance design company. I work from home most days and also on the road a fair bit to meet clients. I'm looking for a room to rent in a suburb not too far out with people who are friendly and considerate and wouldn't mind sharing with a very cute and friendly dog. I'm a pretty social person, and love catching up with mates for dinner and drinks on the weekends or go for bike rides. I'll describe myself as easy going and clean and like to to maintain the shared living environment in a clean and hygienic state. I have lived in share houses for many years so I know how to be a decent and considerate housemate. I also have a 5 year old Japanese Spitz who is completely house trained. He doesn't chew except his own toys, and he's very laid back and friendly and doesn't bark much at all. He is great with cats and other small dogs, but is scared of big or aggressive dogs. But he will pretty much follow you everywhere and loves food!
I am a Peruvian Software Engineer working in Fitzroy since 1 year ago. My favorite hobbies are singing in a latin music band called The Amazonics and dancing Salsa or Bachata. I am friendly, tidy and respectful. I don't smoke. I am usually busy, but I am always keen for some drinks, cooking together, an outdoor activity, movie, etc. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
I am an graduate architect, planning to move from Tassie to Melbourne in mid Jan. Originally from Hong Kong, I have been in Australia for 6 years and enjoy mingling with different groups of people. I am easy going, obsessed with design, plants, cooking and anything creative. I currently manage my own share-house.
Hey Flatmates! A little bit about me, I'm Sam, from England, I've been in Australia for about 6 months now, I work in hospitality. So work in a cafe in the day time, and then I work at the a beautiful hotel in the evenings. My down time will consist of a cheeky glass of wine, and rest! As I'm doing a lot of hours at the minute. I love to cook, having worked in hospitality for 8-9 years I love to feed people, and have some great recipes :) I have a very eclectic music taste and rely on my headphones. I'm really looking at moving in asap, I've been in a hostel since I got to Melbourne! I look forward to hearing from any and all future flatmates!
I'm very open minded and easy to get along with. I work with young children so some personal attributes that come along with that is my patience, kindness, creativity (at times), spontaneity and flexibility. I'm not one to cause issues, I usually just go to work and gym and when I'm not doing that I try to socialise with friends outside of the house. My main passion is fitness, in particular, strength training and mixing in some cardio for good health. Finding a a flat mate with a similar passion/ interest would be amazing! If you like to eat relatively healthy, that's an added bonus for me because you can keep me on track with healthy eating habits. In return I can help in trying to keep you motivated to train which may mean a casual cardio adventure such as the memorial track walk. I like to keep tidy so I'm hoping to find someone that is the same. Oh and on another note, I am allergic to cats and honestly not that much of a fan. However I do like large breeds of dogs but not so much the small breeds. Also I have a car that would need a parking space :) Anyway that's just a little about me, I'm hoping this helps so I can find a flatmate with similar traits and interests.
Clean, tidy, busy, active, easy going, animal lover. I work hard mon-Friday and enjoy the weekends either in the city for food/drink or getting away. Respectful and reliable. I work full time at the department of health and human services in child protection. Looking for an easy going new place in coburg with like minded folk, keen to chat and share wine/food/movies but also enjoy my own space.
I honestly enjoy being tidy and am respectful of everyone's space. I enjoy meeting people and hanging out. I'm studying Bachelor of Computer science at Latrobe uni and work part time. Being outdoors, and living a healthy balanced lifestyle is important to me. Feel free to contact me.
I just finished uni in Canberra and I'm moving to Melbourne in February to start a job at a law firm in the CBD. Love to travel, been to around 40 countries so far. I love to play sport and try to get to the gym (but to be honest it's more of an ambition than a habit). I'm a good cook but awful at planning meals. I'm also a politics junkie and enjoy some good political satire on abc. I've previously leased an apartment in Canberra, stayed in student accommodation in the UK on uni exchange and made my way through countless hostel dorm rooms. I'm looking for housemates that are keen to hang out and chat/eat/drink but also understand that I sometimes need my own space. Enjoy a good house/family dinner. Location is important but I'd much rather find the right group of people who have similar values to me. If you like binging tv shows, exploring the city, going on walks and bike rides and want someone who is friendly, clean, low maintenance and easy to live with, then I could be your guy. It's a cliche but I'm looking for a home not a house. "It's the vibe" - The Castle
I have recently completed my Masters in Environmental and Energy Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK. I am moving to Melbourne to look for job opportunities and to explore the australian lifestyle. It will be great to find some nice people to live with and who are easy going. I am clean and tidy and have been living on my own for a long time now in shared houses so i am quite comfortable with people around.
We're a young couple who are both passionate about careers in health, yet still keep our feet immersed in our respective creative outlets, and love being nerdy about our favourite fandoms. Charanja paints and writes, has a published Zine and is working on a Novella. Ramsay has done sound recording and mixing work in the film and television industry, and has his name on a few short film credits. Our idea of a fun time out ranges from going to art exhibitions, to being in the wilderness and the great outdoors, or just plain old walking around the city looking for hidden secrets. We're both fairly left-wing, and we are both feminists; passionate about social justice, and with an intersectional approach to life.
Hi there,I'm Alejandra (Alex) I'm 30 I a easy going girl normally busy six days a week but I'm always able to chat or have a glass of wine any time ,I'm looking for accommodation for me a my pupper his name is Lennon an is all personality we would love to share some of our good vibes with you future flatmates .xoxo
I'm a student at Melbourne Uni studying Masters of Physics, which takes up most of my time. I'm great with housework. My favourite things to do are settle down with a good book, mindlessly scroll the interwebs, and chatting with friends. I enjoy my music and you will hear me singing/playing the violin (but not in the middle of the night). I also speak mostly fluent Mandarin. I will respect your privacy. Best wishes :)
Hi ! I'm a french freelance illustrator and motion designer. I've been sharing places a lot so i know "how to roommate" :) I'm a fun and easy going person but i like home to be a quiet place where I can rest. So... I'm not looking for a party house. I'll have to work sometimes from home. I like drawing, cooking, reading, music, wine, painting etc. I don't mind animals. I do smoke sometimes but outside only. I'm currently living in Brunswick but the sublet ends in 3 weeks. I'd like to find a place in the northern suburbs. No CBD =( If you think we can match, I'll be happy to hear from you!
Hi! I'm Matias and Im a chilean graphic designer who loves photography (also coffee!). I like to work out and being outgoing, going for a walk, enjoy the city! Im a very quiet open minded guy who values private space and Im very respectful with them. Im looking for chill places to live, also chill flatmates with I can have nice moments with, have a talk and share some really good coffee :)
I'm a software developer working in Docklands (not a bank, dw :-P), originally from NSW (Coffs Harbour, if you know it), and a lapsed physics major. Also, Mao (my cat) is friendly with humans and dogs (with a little coaxing). Primarily interested in a team-up with 2-3 people. Personally, I'm easy-going, tidy (shared areas, I'd be lying if I said my room was spick and span), and like music, chilling with a glass of wine and a good book, cooking, building things and watching the various social and political trainwrecks in motion (like is a strong word). I'm reasonably quiet and like a sharehouse that is too (noise after midnight on a worknight isn't ideal. Morning isn't as much of a concern, as I'm off to work pretty early). Also, bonus features: an espresso machine, Netflix subscription, pretty decent at baking.
Hi, my name is Daniela, I'm a chilean lawyer, 30 years old and I'm working in hospitality. I'm looking for some private room and private bathroom and flatmates to share. I'm easygoing, respectful and clean. I'm a non smoker, non drinker, dog friendly (I'm sorry, I'm allergic to cats), Griffindor of course, movie geek, tea lover, that enjoys reading, music, sharing a meal and go touring the city. PS: I have another friend that is also looking a private room. She is a student in Melbourne University, so if you have 2 rooms in the same house, so we can live in the same place, I will be great.
