Hello! I have just moved to Melbourne having been on the West Coast of Australia for the past nine months or so. I am looking to stay here and enjoy city life for at least four months so would be requiring accommodation for a mid-long term stay. I'm a considerate, bubbly and respectful 24-year old English female who is both clean and tidy. I have previously shared houses in Newcastle and London so know and respect the type of etiquette that should be held by all sharers. Although I'm a back packer and currently living out of bag, I'm craving a bit of normality and a non-bunk bed type of bed! Especially as I am looking to work full time. I love to cook and I am experimenting with baking so would be more than happy to make you some bits and pieces during my stay. I really need to doing some more excercise, motivators welcome. I like to explore local coffee shops. And I love the odd G&T. I would be looking to move in on/around the 24th September. I look forward to hearing from you.
I consider myself a good flatmate. Reliable, clean and considerate, like to make a home a home, enjoy both quiet time and social time. Currently self employed designing and fitting interior of restaurants. Originally from Sydney, have been in Melbourne for a little over a year now.
I am relocating from Brisbane to Melbourne for work for 6 months and potentially could be extended. About me, I am 24 and I work as a GP sales rep and often do yoga/gym/sport after work so I am not at home a lot. When I am at home, I like to play computer games and watch netflix. I am financially stable, clean, easily to get along with and enjoys my privacy. Looking for a new furnished place with a bedroom + seperate bathroom/ensuite with no more than 2 other room mates.
I'm very respectful of others space and approachable if there are any problems. I love sport and exercising and I am very clean and tidy. I have rented before and have good rental record. Currently finishing my radiography bachelor at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga and moving to Melbourne in november to start my internship (1 year period) at the northern hospital. Would prefer to be within about 20 minutes travel of work. Im happy to rent short term for a few months or long term for a year. Move date is also flexible to any time in November :)
Hey! I'm Charlotte. I am from Germany and on a WHV in Australia. I'm looking for a fully furnished place to share with friendly, chilled people. Preferably I would like to move in end of September. So a bit about me. I am a friendly, considerate, open-minded and clean person. In my spare time I love cooking, so I would love to cook with my housemates or just hang out now and again. Also, I love travelling and enjoy meeting people from other countries. On weekends I enjoy hanging out with friends. On week nights I like considering going for a run, going to the gym or practicing some yoga. Lately, I've started to learn surfing, which I am very keen to improve. I also enjoy a good balance of quiet time/privacy too. If you think I might be a good fit for your place, contact me! :-) Would stretch budget a bit for right place. Looking forward to hearing from you guys!
33yr old Professional. ( Horologist ) Moving to Melbourne in late October for a new job and starting all over again. I'm pretty neat and tidy, Great sense of humor ,value mine and others privacy, love to cook, social but like to do my own thing from time to time, got to the gym a few times a week, home is my place to unwind and relax after work so don't mind a social drink every now and then, would be great to have housemates that could become friends and show me all the great local spots. Ideally i'd like to be a half an hour from the CBD via tram, train or bus. I love Melbourne but not too familiar with suburbs i may have overlooked so let me know! I Love the outdoors so any excuse to get away for a spot of fishing and I'm all in! Recently got my firearms license so do a bit of sport shooting too Love animals so if you have a social dog or cat i don't mind at all :) Just got myself a new car so undercover or off street parking would be great!
I'm a sociable person and I'm easy to get along with. I've lived in share houses before so I'm considerate of others and respect their privacy. I work from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and I am out most weekends so I wouldn't be home a lot.
HEY YOU! Lovely human/s with a spare room/s in your house! Are you: - A houseproud person who loves to create a beautiful, clean, tranquil living space? - Someone who has their own life and likes their own space, but also likes a bit of a cosy family vibe at home, not just living in your bedroom but having occasional chats in th kitchen or over cups of tea or an occasional shared meal? - Someone who likes to have an occasional dinner party/backyard BBQ, but not a big partier/drinker? - Queer-friendly, left-leaning, and friendly? - Non-smoker? (or outside smoker only, but preferably totally non-smoking) Do you: - Love and/or make music and/or art? - Love houseplants maybe a little bit too much? - Not watch TV/not have a TV/watch some Netflix shows on occasion but mostly in your own room? I'm looking for a new home. I'm a little heartbroken right now as 3 months ago I moved into the perfect space, but then the landlord decided they wanted to make more money from it and kicked us out to get a family in :'( Moving into a pre-established home would be preferable, but I'm also open to starting a new house with cool peeps. The issue is that I want somewhere ASAP (Just have to give 2 weeks notice at my current place, but have to be out by Nov 23rd - preferably much sooner as the nearest train station is going to be closed from Oct 6th and that's gonna make life very difficult!!) as I am going to be very busy in late Sept/early Oct and I don't have a lot of time for househunting! At least one female/nb housemate preferred, but could be convinced for the right dude. I'd like to live with 2 people ideally, open to sharing with 1 or 3 but probably not more than that. ME: - 28yo female musician/artist/voice coach. Friendly, silly, queer, sings a lot and sometimes loud but mostly well, and only in reasonable hours/when you aren't home. - I like to be really clean & tidy and make a beautiful home full of art and plants and pretty colours. - Non-smoker. Not much of a drinker. Not vegetarian but not eating a lot of meat at home. - I am really busy and keep to myself a lot working on my music etc, but I lived in a house previously with dudes who just lived in their rooms and I hated it... I love living with people who are down for chats and cosiness and laughs together when our schedules line up. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A HOUSE: - Preferably an actual house, not an apartment. - Sunshine! - Close or otherwise convenient to grocery stores (I don't have a car, only bicycle/motorbike/PT) - OSP for my small motorbike (can just be front yard or small side path) - Either quite cheap rent (between $500-800/month) for just a bedroom, OR... - Open to paying $800-$1000/month for somewhere that has an extra sunroom/study/office space from which I could teach voice students (or a very large bedroom which I could split with a divider to make into a semi-professional space.) - I am also currently renting a studio in Brunswick which I teach from 2-3 days a week. If my new home is around $500 - 700, I could afford to just teach from the studio 4-5 days a week. If it's $700-800, I'd wnna teach from home a couple days a week (so I could get someone in to share the costs of the studio)... if it's $800+ I'd want to be teaching exclusively from home as I wouldn't be able to also afford the studio. If I sound like a good match for your home and vice versa, please get in touch!

why helloooooo, I'm Charlotte or Charlie! I'm just looking to find my own little room and make some friends to live with. about me then? where do I start... I'm a very creative and passionate about art so you may find me in my room painting, sketching or even reading a book. I eat a pretty simple diet, I'm vegan so I won't be cooking meat or anything, you don't have to be though! I work part time and will be studying nutrition in a couple of months I'm a very clean, bubbly, happy person who loves a good laugh and a chat, but also likes some quiet time which I would do in my room or while we catch something on tv together. I am a 28 year old professional who is originally from Canada. I work in the fitness industry and enjoy staying active myself. I am a social person who enjoys everything from reading and downtime to adventures and travelling. I am seeking a comfortable place that I am able to call home.
I'm a responsible guy, really easy-going, respectful of other people's space and expecting the same in return. Of course we can have talks and share some meals and experiences. I love listening to music (different genres), I play a little bit guitar and recently I bought an ukulele to try something new 😉. I like movies (from Hollywood mainly, so I make references to Oscars nominees or winners every time I can), I love football (soccer), play basketball (at least I try to) and recently I bought a bike so I hope to use it a lot. Also I'm taking my first steps into photography. I'd like to share and learn about all these topics in Melbourne, and of course if you want to learn some words in Spanish I can teach you 'mi amigo'. I'm gonna stay in Melbourne for at least one more year and I'm interested in finding a private room, so let me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers!!
I'm a 29 year old videographer and video editor with a passion for music, food, gardening and good movies. I work at a social research call centre part time in addition to my video work, so I feel as though I spend a reasonably equal amount of time both in and out of the house. I also travel a bit for work, once every few months, either to country Victoria or out to remote Aboriginal communities where I run video workshops with children. I'm partial to a good cup of tea (I make really good chai) and a book, and I love a good selection of tunes whilst around the house. I play futsal (indoor soccer) twice a week and like keeping as healthy as I can manage :) I do enjoy sharing a bottle of wine and I like having friends around every so often for a meal and catch-ups. I come with furniture for the house (shelves, futon daybed etc) if necessary (including white goods) but I can just as easily get rid of them if there’s no space. I also have many houseplants and troughs with herbs, greens and other living plant life that I am more than happy to share!
Hi! My name is Sofia, 21 years old from Sweden. I just moved to Melbourne from Perth, to a room in a sharehouse that was not at all like the pictures and descriptions I had gotten before arriving. Old food on the tables, mice in the kitchen and a broken from door are just some of the things that got be back to looking for a new room. I used to work as an au pair, so taking care of the house by cleaning, cooking and doing laundry was something I did just about everyday. I´m a calm and organized person who also enjoys a good party. For fun I like to hang out with friends, go on trips and watch netflix! Something I love very much is animals, and I also really enjoy baking. I'm available to come look at rooms and move in ASAP. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello! I'm Yu-Chi Huang, a 27 year-old Taiwanese girl coming to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa to embark on a voluntary research internship and to gain some international experiences. I have an educational background in psychology and currently work as a research assistant in Taiwan. Upon relocating to Australia, I hope to find some casual/part-time work in addition to my voluntary internship to support myself. Therefore, I'm still unsure of my working hours yet. For leisure, I like to read, exercise a bit, socialize, and learn random things that catch my interests. As a person, I'm open-minded, respectful of others, and neat (but not obsessively). While doing my graduate studies in the UK, I shared a flat in harmony with 5 others from different parts of the world. So, I would consider my flatshare record fairly clean! I also love to cook and have meals with flatmates from time to time and give them a helping hand whenever needed. However, I can respect personal boundaries if they need their own space.
