I'm easygoing and a happy flatmate! I am currently living in Northcote but looking to move asap. I work FT in the CBD as a restaurant mgr so my hours are long for a couple of days a week and shorter the others. I have some hobbies of dance salsa, yoga and seeing bands, photography and I have a green thumb so would love to help out in the garden. I am 36 so well house trained and definitely tick all your boxes of responsible 😊 Love making a house a home and enjoying good flatmates company when we're all around having a wine and some good food 😊 but do generally enjoy some quiet time and just chill when I'm at home. Give me a text or call and maybe I can come and visit tomorrow or this weekend I am looking to move asap as I am away next Wednesday for two weeks for work. I also have a small friendly, happy pooch, her name is Maizie she is a shitzu x schnauzer but a runt so very small and does get along with cats and loves people!
Hey guys, My name is Paulina. I'm 24 years old Polish, arrived to Melbourne 2 months ago. As my sublet is coming to an end with the end Of January I'm looking for another place to stay. What I'm seeking to is a private room in an existing sharehouse or creating a new one. My budget is max 180$ pw, but I can spend more if the place is really tempting. As I live in Thornbury, it would be awesome to stay in the area but the line Northcote, Brunswick East, Collingwood, Carlton, Richmond, Fitzroy are very welcome as well. I'd preferably share a space with people close to my age. I completed studies in Economics, here I'm working in hospitality. I'm super easy going, sociable, respectful of others space and I'd love to land in a positive household with more or less like minded people. I'm often out if not working but always keen to share a meal or grab a beer if such opportunity shows up. If it seems like we might get along well feel free to message me to go to further details and possibly set a meeting. :) Thanks!
Hi, my name is Kelly. I work part-time for the federal government while also studying psychology. I'm a friendly and considerate flatmate. For me, home is a sanctuary and I value a peaceful, respectful and clean living environment. I'm a vegetarian, but don't mind if my flatmates aren't. I'm a non-smoker and am looking to live in a smoke-free home. In my free time I enjoy doing yoga and going for walks, picnics and bike rides. I also love going to the opera, ballet and art galleries.
I am currently pursuing a Master degree at Macquarie University. I am fun to hang out with or explore new places as we get to know each other better. On the other hand, I respect other's privacy as I also want that in return. During break-time, I like to explore Sydney to cherish and memorize this wonderful opportunity. I enjoy cooking for myself, so I always keep everything clean for my roommates to experience the same. I am also a pet lover because I have 6 dogs at home (Vietnam). I don't smoke.
Relocating from Perth to Sydney for work. Easy going lad. I will be spending weekdays working in North Ryde starting a new job. I'm pretty social and have lots of interests. Weekends I'm usually out and about/partying. Weeknights I keep it pretty tame and spend a lot of time on Netflix/Gaming. Very clean and respectful of house mates privacy. I don't know a lot of people in Sydney so if there is some social house mates willing to show me around the city that would be a bonus. I'm a home owner myself and handy with maintenance etc. Currently living in a Perth sharehouse with 3 under 24's and have lived in many share houses in the past. Flying to Sydney on the 1st Feb and looking for accommodation as close to this date as possible. I'm a car guy and usually have 2 cars so need somewhere that can accommodate that. Chow.
~ Heya tribe!! ♡ ~ Just reaching out to anyone who has an available large room or room and studio space in a house full of funky fun creatives✌🎨💓 As my insanely awesome roomies will be traveling overseas. So i cannot continue to live with them. So I need to find a home by mid Feb as that is when the lease ends. Looking to rent long term. Would love to be surrounded by nature, close by the hills/mountains or beach but in saying so i am open up to other locations ( : I am an artist who loves a good boogie to a variety of groovy tunes. I come with lots of smiles, chill vibes and love to cook and drink tea and a cuppa of warm cocoa . I'm a tidy and conscious who is a considerate human to live with who likes company and community but also value time to myself. I love nature and am resourceful and love sustainable living. 🌼🔮🤗
A full time uni student, attending RMIT Fashion School in Brunswick, looking for a room near the campus (Brunswick, Carlton, Fitzroy, Coburg ....). Would prefer something long term (6 months - 1 year) and willing to spend around 175-180 p/w or 200 p/w (including bills and internet). I have loads of experience living in share houses and am pretty laid back. I have good social skills and will comfortably get along with almost everyone. Do like to go out from time to time but not huge on partying; would much rather go to a pub for a drink or 2. Very clean and well kept when it comes to sharing kitchen and toilet facilities. Will respect the privacy of other housemates and expect the same in return :)
Hi my name is Melinda or (Mel) Big move back from living in London for the past 12 years and resettling in the northern areas of Melbourne. I'm starting a brand new job within the healthcare industry in mid February and looking for a room in a house share with a like minded person or people! I'm pretty easy to live with having shared in London (and previously in Melbourne) so know how to be courteous responsible and respectful to those that share the home. I like to balance professional career with my other passions cooking, music, walking, photography and yoga. I love animals. I adore spending time with my family and friends and going out to explore my surrounds and what this great city has to offer. I'm looking for a friendly abode to call 'home' for a while to re calibrate into Melbourne life.
Hi! I'll arrive in Melbourne on February 12th to begin my master studies in Construction Management at the University of Melbourne. I'm 27 yo & have lived abroad for the past 7 years (mostly in shared houses, so I know well how to live with roomies in peace & enjoy it.;)). I'm clean, tidy, laid back, friendly & my friends say funny too :D. In my free time I'd love to cook (gotta be careful to not eat your fingers :P), share a beer or two (wine is even better), watch movies, go for a walk or hike! I'm ideally looking for a private room in an existing shared house but also willing & excited to team-up with other cool, easy-going people looking for a place to call home. :)
Hey team Recently moved down to Melbourne to study Youth Work at RMIT and indulge in the lifestyle down this way. Originally from Coffs Harbour but have been living in Canada doing some cool things for a couple of years, but wanted to come down to Melbs and study. I'm 26 and I've been waitressing, travelling and Skiing around the world since I left high school and now keen for something new. The music scene/ creative vibe of Melbourne has definitely attracted me to this city. I'm down to earth, social, very much into gigs and live music- music in general and being around people but also love my down time and respect people's personal space. I've been living in staff housing and share houses throughout my travels so I totally respect different lifestyles, living arrangements, personal boundaries and the big one... being tidy 🙂 I've also been known to have killer dance moves and I can show you my ways if you would like. I want to live with people who are like-minded, and love to have a chat/drink/ meal together every now and then. I love drinking coffee, sports, and getting outside and taking advantage of the weather when its lovely :) Thanks so much!!! Look forward to hearing from some people! Aimee
Hi! My name's Sean and I'm looking for the perfect place to call my own. I'm an avid reader (tending towards more fantasy novels), gamer on both PS4 and PC (even though I'm okay at best) and all round friendly guy. As such, I'm looking for a place with great internet first and foremost, as well as excellent housemates that don't mind sharing a great time or a gaming session. I'm currently employed at Whittlesea McDonalds working about 30-40 hours a week, as well as looking for a secondary job in an area that I'm more interested in, such as JB Hi Fi or EB Games/Zing. I'm always down for a movie or games night, including board games if you're so inclined. So what are you waiting for?! Shoot me a message if you feel like we'd hit it off and I'll get back to you as soon as I can to arrange a meet and greet! Thanks for your time :)

Hello, I'm a non-smoking Londoner who is initially in Australia for 6 months but have fallen in love with Melbourne! Because of this I'm thinking about extending my stay longer term. I'm qualified as a primary school teacher and have applied for registration, although this will take some time to come through. I am a friendly, tidy and conscientious person who respects the space and privacy of others but at the same time enjoys hanging out or going for a drink. Interests include football (Or soccer as I've been told it's referred to over here...), cricket, classical music and dry humour comedies. Thanks for reading, Jamie.

30 years old brazilian guy working in construction field. I am really easy going person who would share and enjoy time with housemates...but also like to have my own space and be reserved sometimes. As I work in construction I usually have early start in the morning but I am not a noisy person. I am really tidy, clean and respectfull person. I have recently moved from perth to Melbourne and am currently working full-time as a roof carpenter. I am a friendly, easy going person who is honest and hardworking. I have a 2yr old Staffy named Buffy.
My partner is leaving me behind for the year while she heads to Canberra for work. I'm looking for a new home, and new people to share with. I'm in my mid-twenties, working part time as a landscape labour and casually in a small local brewery. I'm a keen home brewer and regularly brew (pretty damn tasty) beer, so if you've got room for me and little bit of brewing gear you can look forward to a reasonably consistent stream of good beer. I'm into a wide range of music and would like to find a house where music is enjoyed and shared. I enjoy bushwalking/hiking and I may talk about plants a bit too much whilst I am doing those things. I've lived in a few sharehouses both in Sydney and down here, and am reliable and communicative re rent, bills and chores etc... I have lived in the inner north now for around two years and am hoping to find a new house here with housemates who are fairly chill, and like some of the same stuff as me, as well as some things I am yet to enjoy.

I mostly keep to myself but also happy to share an occasional glass or two of wine.

I work shift work and full time so my hours vary but I am very respectful of others sleep! I'm a non smoker and don't take drugs. I'm single with no kids and no pets. Tidy and respectful of shared spaces. Looking for 6 atleast months Ideally looking for a place with an ensuite but willing to negotiate.

Hi! I'm a 26 yr old newly graduate nurse working casually as a disability carer until my grad position starts in May. I'm an experienced share house dweller very friendly, tidy, reliable and incredibly easygoing and am looking for a positive space that i can make my home. I am generally pretty busy and sometimes work weird hours but when I'm around i love being able to have a chat over wine or cups of tea or sharing a meal. I come as a package deal with my dog Wesley who is a 9 mth old Aussie Bulldog who is very affectionate (loves a cuddle) and is also very chilled out happy to hang by himself outside during the day. i'm looking for a room in a house that has fellow dog loving people or happy to find others to look for a house together. Preferably I'd like to share with 1 or 2 others (happy to live with couples) and am looking in northern suburbs.
Hello. I am currently looking for a place. I am unemployed but on a Disability Pension so I have some money coming in because I am unable to work. I have a sweet little black domestic short-haired cat named Delphine who I require to stay with me for mental health reasons. I am very quiet at first but when I get to know people I will open up. I generally spend my days listening to music, painting, reading and learning languages so I mostly keep to myself. I have my own furniture due to the fact I am moving out of a house I was renting previously. :)
I am Zarli and my partners name is Rory. We are both turning 20 this year and are from country victoria wanting to move to the northern suburbs of Melbourne. I will be studying nursing at ACU and my boyfriend will be working full-time. We both have savings behind us so paying rent on time etc will never be an issue. We are both reliable, considerate, honest, and aware of the needs of others. We love to chat and share a meal from time-to-time but are also introverted and enjoy our alone time. Would love the chance to get to know you better and what you are looking for in a housemate! Cheers!
I am looking for a rental property not a share house, I have 3 real estate references and am working fulltime as a managers position. I am reliable with rental and look after the property like it is my own. I am quiet and love to get along with my neighbours also. ---------------------------------------------------- I cant upgrade to message back a few people interested in their properties, so please if you have a property to rent contact me on PLEASE NOTE, AM AFTER A RENTAL NOT SHARE HOUSE. THANKS.
I'm a 33 year old masters student at RMIT, working part time at Melbourne Uni Asia Institute. I also teach tai chi, when i have students, I am getting into boxing this year. I like cycling and bushwalking, and I am torn between hardcore and post-hardcore punk. I like John Banville and I can play the piano. When it's my turn to clean, I clean like a pro. Non-smoker, meat eater, social drinker. I have conversational-level Japanese; I used to work there. I am basically a damn chill flatmate.
Reason for the move: I'm going to be starting a new job in Pennant Hills on the construction of the underground tunnel in 4 weeks. I'm moving over from Perth. I have quite a bit of furniture. Big 65" TV, all bedroom furniture (queen size bed and 2x chest draws), few pots and pans etc. I have a car and will require a car space or street parking is fine (hopefully no added expense) About me: I'm 33, single, and work in the mines FIFO. I'm looking for a change and back into my career of digital records management. This happens to be in Sydney. I'm looking for a place that is neat and tidy. I don't drink, and am pescatarian. Love to cook. Enjoy going to the gym, keeping active and spending time at the beach. I also like to watch Netflix and chill on weekends. Not looking for a party share house although I do love to go out and watch live music and hit up gigs and pubs. I like drinking cups of tea and chilling out most nights. I'm living in a share house now (I'm the owner), I'm very respectful of rules and quirks of the household. I'm looking for a pet friendly house. The other housemate: I have a beautiful pug Bee Bee. He is 5yo and is very house trained. Pugs suffer in the heat so he would be an inside pooch for the most part, hope that is ok. Super friendly, great with kids and other animals. Can bring my own portable dog door so he can come and go in the house to outside. The dog is my responsibility and I take full care of him. He may greet you with unsuspecting slobbery and cuddles as he is a friendly little guy. I'm a pretty normal person moving over to start a new career for the next 2 years. If I sound like someone you might be able to live with hit me up :)
Hey there! My name is Nithya. I'll be moving to Melbourne for Uni soon and am keen to find some housemates and a nice place, preferably with a private bathroom. I'm going to be studying Medical Radiation - Nuclear Medicine at RMIT Bundoora. I won't have a car so somewhere close to Uni/or not too long by bus is more convenient. I'm very friendly, tidy, happy to share chores, would love to socialise but sometimes prefer my own space. Up for drinks once in a while and I'm a non-smoker so I'd like to stay in a similar environment. I'm not very fit so I'd like to start exercising once I move so also looking for motivational gym buddies ;) I also love watching movies/TV shows. I'm currently unemployed but I'll be looking for part-time jobs as soon as I move. Move date hasn't been finalised yet as I am still discussing everything with my parents, but it's most likely start/mid Feb. Cheers :)
Hi there! I'm Eduardo, originally from Spain. I've living for a while in Australia. Graduated and working now in Channel 9 (Frenchs Forest). I consider myself a funny guy and I am looking for a house where I just don't share house but also where we can share good times with a drink, a meal or enjoying some activities together. I am clean and respectful. I'd love to hear from you if you have a cool place to live in. Ideally I'm looking for a furnished house with queen sized bed but if the house is good I don't mind buy stuff. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Eduardo

My name is Shadi Alexander and if you recognize me it's probaby because I was on First Dates Australia for 3 different episodes and still stayed notoriously single. I am looking for a quiet student friendly home in the Northern Suburbs as I'm going back to full time college this year. However I still have a part time marketing job that pays really well so paying all the the bills and rent on time will never be an issue. I am very neat and clean and I have lived in share houses before so I know the drill. I am easy going and fun to be around but also very quiet during school hours because I love getting good grades so please don't judge me but I am a nerd kinda. Also I am quite busy during the week but always make an effort for my housemates so I don't want to blow my own trumpet but I think I would make the perfect housemate. Also I can cook and clean ;)
Hi! My names Andrew. I have only recently moved down to the inner city from far out east of Melbourne in a small town called Emerald. I love the city and all of its bustling nightlife. Which is one of the main reasons I am aiming to stay down this way. I'm a very happy and friendly person and find it very hard to dislike people. I am a very respectful person when it comes to living with people, i always clean up after myself and if you don't eat my food i wont eat yours. While at times I will have the occasional eBay shopping spree, I am still very responsible with my money and always pay my rent on time. A couple things about me, I do consider myself a very outgoing person and love to meet new people. I also absolutely love my music (70's-80's funk & disco music of choice) and am a frequent attendee of music festivals. In saying this however I also love to stay in and watch TV a lot during the week. At the moment I am finished studies and am having a year off to work on more of my side projects. I have a casual job which i work at about 22-28 hours a week. So that's the basics on who I am and i hope you consider me to be your new house mate!
Hello! I am a 27 year old gal who loves to go bicycle touring and read or chat over a nice beer =) I am extremely tidy and currently live in Preston and love it but my lease is ending soon! I would love to find somewhere to settle in and grow some veggies. I work full time Tuesday through Saturday at a bicycle store and on the weekends usually take my bike on an epic adventure to a campsite!
'm 26 and have a steady income from a music festival business I run up in QLD (still running it via my laptop from wherever I go). Rent will always be in before the due date every single time. I'm a social kind of guy, but I'm not too intense. I can read social cues and I can tell when someone just wants to be left alone and chill. I like to keep a tidy house, I clean up after myself straight away and you'll have me voluntarily cleaning the bathroom all of the time. I love to live in places where everyone contributes to the household including cooking meals. Obviously everyone's always going to have different schedules and it doesn't quite work out every night but I like to do it as often as possible. My specialties are a spinach/feta/chicken pie and a roast, but can also do many more. My biggest interest is music (hence the festival). I tend to go to shows pretty often, already have tickets to see a band called Snarky Puppy in April. Not sure if you've heard of them or not but they are one of my favourites. Hoping to move to a place where everyone's pretty chilled out and gets along well with each other and can discuss any issues diplomatically. If you have any other questions about me, just ask. But ideally, meet me :)
Hi there! My current lease is up in Feb and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent, preferably less than an hour commute from the city. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and tend to just stick to my routine during the week. At weekends I spend my time going out with friends, catching up with family and relaxing at home. I’m tidy, quiet and considerate and would be looking to rent with people the same. I'm always up for a chat and enjoy the occasional social drinks, movie nights, games nights and the like but also enjoy my own space too. I am moving with my 3 year old koolie, Rikku. If you’ve ever wanted a dog but don’t want the responsibility Rikku would be ideal! She’s used to living in sharehouses and loves all the people. I can assure you she’s very well trained (top level obedience and currently training in agility) and I walk her daily (she’s an excellent running partner if you need one!). Both my past landlords have known about Rikku and it’s never been a problem. She’s predominantly an outside dog but I do sometimes have her inside in the evenings to watch tv with me. She is 100% housetrained and will quickly learn to stay off furniture and out of rooms that are off limits. However she does need a backyard so unfortunately apartments/townhouses won’t work. Rikku’s never lived with other pets (except for a top goldfish named Yevin) but I would be willing to try it. She doesn't always get along with dogs but would love a cat friend. If you’ve just set up a new sharehouse (or someone just moved out and took everything) I can also provide the following (otherwise I will be storing it with the parents): -dining table -bookshelf -washing machine -fridge (fits food for 3 people) -couch & two arm chairs -chest of drawers -bean bag -coffee table Cheers :)
Looking for a furnished room from mid Feb- mid to end of June or something long term for a a year or longer. Definitely looking for somewhere that has a washing machine and a room that is furnished with at least a bed. I'm a uni student from the US and work 3-4 days a week in the CBD so I'd prefer to live relatively close but would also love to be halfway between school and work with easy public transit. Walking distance to the 86 tram line is a giant plus. I love gardening, being outdoors, live music, watching netflix, meeting new people, swimming laps, or just hanging out and having a drink. Looking for tidy but laid back roomies so if you have a spare room holla at me! If I'm loving it and it's not too far from uni then I would consider a longer stay (just have plans to be travelling end of June- end of August) Thanks!
I am moving to Melbourne from Brisbane to work full time in a legal-tech program. I am also a part time postgraduate student studying externally. I'll be busy working and studying in the week. On the weekends I hope to explore Melbourne and meet new friends. I'm friendly and always up for a chat, but also independent. I'll be neat and tidy too!
I am a very tidy, look after myself, and try to give everyone their personal space. At the same time I love engaging with people and getting to know them, so I love a good chat! Also, I'm a mad cook and barista so I have that going for me
I am an Indian accounting professional moving to Sydney in January 2017 and need an accommodation - 1 bedroom with private bathroom preferably. I am a non-smoker, who likes to keep his house clean and tidy. I am a fitness enthusiast and would love to play a sport or hang out with my flatmates in my free time.
