I am a left-leaning, musically-interested, social and occasionally studious mid-twenties female looking for a fun, but tidy share-house in central Melbourne. I like good chats, loud music and cold beers. I just moved from Brisbane to finish a Masters degree in Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. I've been studying on and off for the last five years, having already completed a BA in Creative and Professional Writing, an Honours thesis concentrated in Literary Studies, and started a Master of Arts at the University of Queensland. Although I am fairly studious and busy during the week, I like to socialise on the weekends by going to gigs, sampling delicious beers and op-shopping. I enjoy reading, writing (obviously), music and photography. I also collect vinyls and will be sending down a vinyl player/large vinyl collection once I've got a place. I have worked as an ESL teacher for the past two years and I'm currently looking for casual teaching work. Your real estate can contact my real estate for a reference. I'm happy to pay three months rent up front. I have also lived in China, where I worked as an English teacher with kids, and I have lived and studied in Japan as an undergraduate. I am thus very open-minded to different cultures and lifestyles. If you like the sounds of any of this feel free to send me a message. I'm looking for a large private room as I would like to set up a desk for studying. I also need lots of storage space for my ridiculously large wardrobe of vintage and Japanese fashion (which I am happy to share if you're my size!). I have two couches, a washing machine, a brand new fridge, a two-seater dining set, a six seater dining set, coffee table...pretty much everything! It's all in storage at the moment at my parents' house and I'm happy to leave it there or send it down. I am also looking at vacant two/three bedroom properties on the Northside and possibly applying for a property by myself. So if you're in the same boat as me and looking for shared accommodation in a nice house in a centrally located suburb, feel to send me a message. You must be open-minded, house-trained and LGTB /420 friendly, and ideally within the age bracket of 20-30.
I'm a relaxed and tidy individual; enjoy my space but also enjoy co-working, sharing meals or just hanging out. I sometimes like to go to gigs too. I play guitar and bass and have a few musical projects on the go at any time and sometimes I go busking in the CBD. I work part time as a bartender at the Melbourne Recital Centre and am halfway through a Psychology Post-Grad. I really enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and listening to music in my spare time when I'm not playing. I live a humble existence and am always open to learning new things. I have a lil cat named Pepper who would ideally be moving with me.
Hi, I'm a student about to go into my second year of my bachelor of fine arts. As a housemate I'm generally very quiet and clean, but love cooking (not just for myself but for others). I'm very quiet during the week and spend a lot of time reading books or watching films, but I love to catch up during the weekends and socialise. :) I'm a vegetarian but have lived with both meat eaters and vegans so other peoples' food choices don't bother me! Also, I come with many houseplants. I'd love to live with other people involved in the arts, or other students but this isn't a necessity!
I am a full time student/athlete studying Civil Engineering who works part time. I also work at my gym coaching Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and teach a kids fight class. More than capable of pulling my own weight when it comes to housework/cooking, etc. Busy schedule but I love spending weekends or any free time I have with friends and new people I meet, or even just chilling out for the night. Looking to stay with chilled out roommates who are easy-going / out-going and love a good chat. I smoke here and there, but not tobacco, hint hint, would love 420-friendly roommates but I honestly don't mind.
Working full-time at Collingwood atm. Going to be RMIT nursing student in July 2017. I am a clean, cheerful, considerate, respectful person who cares about the privacy of others. I have been living by myself for 7 years, so I am independent and is a type that will "clean my own mess". I love dogs! I like cooking, swimming and watching movies. I am not a party animal, but a drink or chat is great. I am looking for a place where has air-con(must!), windows(must!), near tram/train station, tidy, clean, and comfortable to live. I don't mind doing housework on a schedule/roaster basis.
Hi I'm Ed, I'm a qualified electrician from Echuca and I've just started a new full time job in Melbourne, I'm currently staying at a mates temporarily until I can find somewhere to call home, and would defs be keen to start a super awesome new share house with others . I am a happy person with a sense of humour (I think..). I'm a fairly casual lad, neat, thoughtful of others and wouldn't have a problem with a social living environment(men and/or women). I've also come to Melbourne for the culture and music etc. Happy to share more if needed 😄 thanks
Hi, my name is Michael. I'm an international student from germany that studies at Swinburne University. Looking for a room with nice flatmates for this semester :) I love playing computer games and other geeky stuff, but also like to go out and meet new people or hang out with friends. Always open for a chat, but can also keep to myself. I'm very relaxed to live with :) Also cleaning should be no issue. Other hobbies are, swimming, hiking, drawing and having a good time :)
I just moved to Melbourne a few days ago and am looking for something long term. A little more about myself- I'm a 21 yr old female from India. I'm here in Melbourne doing Masters in Communications at Monash University, Caufield. I am a fun, very adaptable and an easy going person. I love to read, have a soft corner for songs from the 80s, love running. I'm a really friendly and social person however I equally love my own space. My favourite thing to do is to laze around and watch Netflix. I love to travel and I'm always up for a new adventure. I've never lived in a share house before but I was in boarding school for 8 years of my life so trust me I know how to keep everything around me clean and live with different kinds of people. I'm flexible with move in dates but am looking to move in as soon as possible. If there is anything else you'd like to know about me feel free to contact meLet me know when I could come to see the house and meet the people at the house too! Thanks and hope to hear from you soon! Have a great day😊
Looking for a comfortable and relaxing place walking/bus/biking distance to La Trobe University as I will be beginning my studies for Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery. I am mature, clean and respectful. I am wanting to find a place where I can feel at home and potentially make new friends. I enjoy exploring, red wine, board games and the occasional boogie on a weekend. Would love to find a housemate who could show me around Melbourne to all the great bars and restaurants!
Hi, I'm Maya. I'm an exchange student studying at the University of Melbourne this year. My girlfriend and I are currently living in SE Melbourne. Our lease is expiring on the 6th of March and we are looking to find a Short Term Stay for a month, maybe 2 while we find another place. Steph is a Primary School Teacher, and I work in Marketing. We are always up for a chat and a laugh and enjoy meeting new people. If you think that you could help us out please feel free to get in touch. Cheers guys, Brad and Steph

I'm in need of a room to rent or possibly to team up for share house, I like to garden some times and the occasional glass of red with dinner, I can cook but nothing fancy and would love to share a meal but also enjoy time to myself. I'm Conni, a 24 year old geology/environmental studies postgraduate student at melbourne university. I've had experience living with all sort of different people in Germany as well as London so I know how things are workingin a great shared house ;) I'm from Germany and I will stay for one year. I am creative, crazy, very thoughtful and very fun to hang out with and I like a good laugh. I have probably read about 5000 books but you will get the biggest nonsense out of me (you don't even have to try very hard). I like to play a bit on my Ukulele and I love all kind of arts, individuality and people who do things their way! I'm kind of nerdy when it comes to Geology and Arts and books. But always easy to get along with and interested in all sort of stuff - especially people and music. When I manage to do some outdoor activity I am really excited about it! That includes skiing, climbing, hiking, ... travelling too. If nature is to far away, I try to ignore that by doing a lot of work out in a park/beach/playground/... I'm a vegeterian and I like to keep kitchen and bathroom clean.
I'm very quiet mature and work full time I don't cook I eat out most of the time. Won't have any visitor's as I am new to Melbourne. Non drinker but I am an outdoors smoker.
Hi there! I'm Sarah. Full disclosure: I just arrived in Melbourne after traveling for a year and am still getting my life together. I'm working a couple of part time jobs and am looking for a great place to call home for the short term. This includes finding a place to live. Hostels are SO expensive! I'm friendly, responsible, clean, respectful, sociable, but also can survive by myself. I need a furnished room and roommates who will at least say hello and ask how my day was! I can't commit to long term at the moment - one month ideally, but I'll make it a great month, I promise! Outside of work time I enjoy live music and sports, exercise, food, and good beer. I can move in at the beginning of March. Looking forward to hearing from you, Sarah
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 21st of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a 3rd year undergraduate student from UBC in Vancouver, Canada who's here on exchange (Melbourne University). Boring stuff: I'm clean, responsible, and always pay my rent on time. Semi-interesting stuff: -I’m out of the house most of the time, but when I am home, I enjoy a good chat with a drink or two -Definitely in Melbourne to have fun but I'm not a crazy partier. Will definitely respect any pre-existing house rules. -Love to travel. Have been to around 20 countries so far! I am looking to move in ASAP and move out by June 23, 2017. I can be flexible with these dates if need be (but only by 1-2 weeks max). I'm available pretty much anytime for a viewing since I just got into Melbourne and don't really have a life (...yet).
Hey Guys, My name is Kelsey, currently studying full time at Latrobe as well as working part-time, I am a relatively outgoing and social person. Im from Perth but have been living in Melbourne a few years. I'm a gardener. I have a small business I run around local suburbs. I can keep the front and backyard looking good, no need to hire lawn mower man or gardeners before rent inspections! I'm also a bit of a musician in my spare time. I can cook but prefer not to after a long day... but I do make pretty good chilli con carne 😉

Hi there! I was born 21 years ago on a Saturday, which is still my favorite day of the week. I love plants, am a pretty down-to-earth kinda person. If you have a pet than that's awesome! If not, no worries, I won't bring in any ;). I study Media and Culture which involves anything media related, from the very first cinemas till the playfulness of interactive art installations. Having a comfortable neat home, where privacy is respected but friendliness not neglected (what a terrible rhyme) would be amazing! Hope to see you soon!
I am currently in my final semester at Latrobe studying Business. I have just returned from a year abroad and need a room for at least 6 months in the vicinity of Latrobe in Bundoora. I'm a pretty friendly guy, and I love a good chat with fellow housemates. I also know when people need their space. I happily do my part of the cleaning since I know how important it is to keep the common areas up to standard for everyone to get along. My friends would describe me as creative and outgoing. On my free time I usually like to bike, watch tv or just catch up with my friends over coffe and a treat .Or as we say in Sweden we go for a ”fika ” :) If you think we would work well as flatmates, I'd love to hear from you! I have a sense of humor, I'm a good spider catcher, which is very important, as i seem to attract huntsman. I like to watch the sun set of an evening, and just chill. I think its the whole working with kids thing. I kind of enjoy living on my own but still need some company. Sole possession of the remote control. very important. If you think you can help me with a parking spot, please contact me.

G'day guys I'm John, a 22 year old guy from Bendigo who is moving to Melbourne to chase the dream of working in animal conservation. I've been accepted in to Biology at La Trobe so i'm interested in finding a room around the Preston/Heidelberg area for my convenience. I consider myself to be pretty normal, like most people I like to have fun catching up with mates or just sitting in the backyard listening to music with a beer or two .. though I'm not a big party goer and to be honest will be pretty swamped with study most of the time. I'm passionate about anything to do with Australian wildlife and I love to get outdoors hiking or fishing or anything like that, I'm also hoping to get a veggie garden going at my new place. I come with a car, a record player (with heaps of sweet records) and a smoking habit but would only ever smoke outside. I've lived out of home before so I know how to be tidy and considerate of my other housemates. Thanks for reading and please help a brother out! Cheers, John Woodward.
I'm a 32 year old Pilates instructor and lapsed graphic designer who has recently moved home to suffocating, small town Brisbane after a 3.5 year stint in London. I'm also good with a sponge, can whip up a Pescatarian friendly meal, pet friendly (dog obsessed) very independent and happy to do my own thing but always up for a wine/beer/cuppa and a chat. My wild party days are well and truly behind me but love a good gathering of friendly folk. I'm also up for a bit of culture, op shopping, road trips...and have a functioning vehicle in order to make this happen. Would love to discover all the best bits of Melbourne and also go exploring a little further so if you'd like to come along there's always room in my car (even if the ceiling is falling in on me) Anyhoo if you'd like to know more please feel to get in touch. Looking forward to meeting my new Flatmates one day soon! Luisa :)
