Q: What am I looking for? I am looking for a shared room and/or private room between $150 - $190 in the area around CREMORNE (5km range is fine). A tidy and clean house that everybody respect each other. I'm a 27 year old Brit moving to Australia to find the sun! I have full time job working in Brookvale in Sydney, so I'm looking for somewhere to live fairly close to work. I enjoy keeping fit and love the outdoors lifestyle. I do also enjoy relaxing at the weekend with a drink. I'm easy going and know how to clean up after myself!
I have recently moved back to Sydney after spending a long, cold 8 months in Melbourne for work! Glad to be back home and in time for summer!! I am a vibrant and outgoing professional who leads a very busy lifestyle. I am always out and about socialising with friends or at work functions, but also appreciate 'down time' and value my own space to. I do travel a lot for work, so when I'm home I like things to be relaxed. I would prefer to establish a friendship with my flatmate rather then it being just a "share house", and although I enjoy a wine and dinner with my roomie on a regular basis, I am not interested in a party house, those days for me are long gone. As my weeks are always hectic (I'm generally exhausted by Friday), weekends are spent at the beach, catching up with friends or short weekends away up the coast seeing family. I am fit, love the gym and being outdoors. I am very rarely home....ideal flatmate! Things you can expect from me are: Respectful - Very considerate of you and your personal space Domesticated - I am very house proud and I like clean and tidy household Chef - When I do get time to cook, I make Jamie Oliver look like an amateur Reliable, honest and fun I am ideally seeking a like minded professional to share a great place with. I am open to team-ups as I have a storage unit full of furniture to use, otherwise it will all be sold. Looking forward to hearing from you!! N xx
*** NB NOT MOVING OUT UNTIL NOVEMBER *** Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with ex housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
I feel that I am quite considerate of others so I would get a feel as to what people like/don't like and respect that. My Myer-Briggs personality type is ENFP hehe
I am tidy, friendly, helpful and easy-going. I am not currently employed but will be looking for work as soon as I set up in Sydney (I currently live in the Upper Hunter). I am willing to share cooking, cleaning and other duties, or give you your space and be independent. I am great with kids (hoping to get a job in childcare/disability care) so I do not mind living with a family and helping out if needed.
I am from England and I work full time in the city. I live in manly vale which is lovely but looking for a bigger space and to be closer to the city. Easy going, clean and tidy and considerate always :)
Ian, is 26yo from New Jersey, I'm 21yo from Ecuador. We're like Jay and Gloria in modern family 😜 but I'm not noisy and he's not grumpy, We're fun and easy going but also quite and tidy, Enjoy straying at home, cooking dinner and watching series, as much as going out with friends, go for adventures around Sydney and sports!
I am currently studying Early Childhood Education and Care! Love children and animals, open to living with pets. I am quite sociable and love to meet new people and make long term friends. As I am currently studying, I have a busy yet flexible schedule. Balancing work, studying and doing my work placement for school. Looking for a warm home environment with a possibility to quietly study during assessments.
Work as an art director, travel a lot for work and free time... photographer on the side... work long hours during week... like art... good food... good wine... live for friends and family... thats it I guess.
Fun, outgoing, honest, reliable chefs apprentice looking for drug free zone to chill and enjoy on her days off. Preferably furnished or able to purchase off of previous tenant. This is a serious sea change from the drama of Brisbane to the lay back lifestyle of Sydney's north shore. Job already in place, just need somewhere to stay. I have two catties but they will probably stay up here.
Friendly and easy going bloke with mans best friend Cooper. Coop is a 4 year old kelpie x pitty and the biggest softy you'll meet haha. I'm a builder from up the coast, time for a sea change. Love surfing and going on adventures with the pooch and friends. Never one to say no to a cold beer or two
I'm working full time in the Television industry. I do a lot of shift work but I'm very considerate so I won't be waking you up with my early starts or getting back late. I've moved up from Melbourne for work, I'm ideally looking for somewhere to stay until early to mid-2017. I'm looking to move within the next month or so. I'm a bit of a nerd, pretty laid back and reliable, I generally keep to myself but don't mind having a drink after work.
I am a 22 year-old female fulltime professional who loves a glass or three of wine over dinner when i'm home from work. I do love to party on the weekends so living with a fairly sociable housemate who is also a fulltime working professional would be ideal. I am slightly OCD about cleanliness but i'm extremely friendly and easy to get along with. My friends refer to me as the "mother" of the group because I am always taking care of others, and my educational background in psychology makes me a very good listener! I was on a dance scholarship in high school so I love to pump music on the weekends and have a boogie. I studied a B of Science at Sydney Uni so I am well educated, and I am planning to commence a master's degree in HR management in about 1.5 years. I do need my 'alone time' so I will never be too in your hair and I am extremely respectful of others' personal space and privacy. I bond quickly with people, love late night chats but would also appreciate little noise being made at night time :) Hit me up if I am not able to contact you!
Easy going English guy looking for 5-6 month lease (maybe longer, visa permitting). Work in insurance sales in the CBD. Very independent but very happy to live with people who want to expand their social circle. Clean and tidy, would be great to live with people who would be up for cooking the occasional meal together and sharing more frequent bottles of wine.
Hey there future roommate! I'm 30, work part time in events/sports industry and I am studying in Novemeber. I'm looking for a roommate that likes a bit of banter but also respects my privacy. I don't like to party much but I do enjoy some red wine with dinner and the occasional tune when cleaning and chillin on my days off. Reading, Gym, Outdoor activities is part of my weekly routine. I have my own bedroom furniture and a bike that I will need to store somewhere. I eat healthy but I'm really only good at cooking brunch. I work strange hours but never too late into the evening so I like sleeping at night time. I would like if there is a private bathroom or a room with a balcony if this is available. Hope to hear from you! ✌🏻️
I am currently working in an office in the city, I love to cook, dance, i love the beach and any thing to do with it. I am thinking of traveling again, I enjoy watching movies and going to the gym as well as a nice glass of wine every now and then.
I'm 25 and work full-time as an office manager for a tech company in the CBD. I have a pretty busy schedule during the week, but I would like to be part of a 'home' rather than just a house, and enjoy catchups over wine/shared dinners here and there. I love sharing new music, discovering new bars, and long, lazy days at the beach. I consider myself pretty easy-going, but very respectful of shared spaces (and hope you are too). Also fortunate enough to have supplementary income coming in from a rental property, so you can count on me to pay rent on time. Look forward to hearing from you!

On my days off you'll find me hanging out at the beach or browsing through the local markets. I have a very cute Border Collie dog back in Victoria as well that I will share pictures of all the time.
I'm a dive instructor that got lost back in the world of Information Technology which is my current profession. Looking for a quiet long term place near the ocean for a reasonable price.
I'm looking for affordable housing in or around the Mosman area of Sydney. I'm clean and easy to get along with. I like to socialise and go out, but also enjoy some quiet time (good for students). Originally from California and I'll be in Australia for up to a year. Help a girl out!
I am a Retoucher/Fitness photographer. Spent my working career in Advertising. Now I shoot fitness competitors for a living. Love the outdoors, beach anything that gets me away from the computer. I have a small 14 yr old small dog Belle. She basically sleeps all day after I walk her in the morn. She loves people and other dogs. I love fitness, go to gym 4-5 x p/w, like the occasional social drink and basically love to have a good laugh at the end of the day.
Hola, my name is Hannah and I work in the film industry. I freelance so my job is varied with hours and location. Days I am not on-set I either work from home or get out to find a cafe to work from. I ride a motorcycle, spend time at the gym and weekends exploring with friends. I don't have a car. I've just spent the last 18months house sitting all over Sydney, and am ready to settle down into the one place for longer than just a couple weeks! I am looking for housemates who are happy in where they live and would like to share their home with another like-minded individual. People who find living in a clean home, having bills paid on time and having a good working and social life important. It's always nice to be able to hang out and have a good chat with the people you live with, but also having time to yourself is important.
Honest, caring, I enjoy being around people who are nice, respectful, and who value integrity too. I'd prefer to live with a couple of girls, rather than a group of guys or couples, if that's ok. I am a non smoker :) I'd prefer northern Sydney, or anywhere close to public transport, in a safe area, and if there's any national parks or bush nearby, even better :)
I'm really easy going, really friendly and just looking for someone who Is similar in that aspect and likes to just chill out. I enjoy going out and staying in. I work fulltime then study fulltime online so always quite busy :)
Hello! Hi, I'm Jack My friend Charlie and I are coming over from England to Sydney and are looking for a place to stay! The main reason we are coming is to play some rugby for Northern Suburbs in the 2017 season but we are also looking to engage with the city and make the most of our time here! Ideally, we are looking for two separate rooms but a shared room with two beds would not be a problem. We're both easy going, sociable people who are focused both on the rugby field and off it. We like meeting new people and see this a great opportunity to make some friends on the other (sunnier) side of the world! We have employment opportunities lined up upon arrival. Cheers! Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions
My name is Glenn and I'm a 28 year old fully-employed Video Producer. I have a laid back personality and love getting out and about whether that would be to cafe's, restaurants, sports or for a drink on the weekend. I'm looking for a laid back vibe and people to share a home with rather than just a room in a house, I like to be social and share my time with people but like all I like time to myself and understand when others feel the same way. I like a clean house when it comes to common area's. If your after an easy going and respectable flatmate I just may be the guy.
I am a 26 year old french guy who's arriving in Sydney for at least 2 years. I will be working in the Technology/Finance sector. I am new to Australia and would like to find a comfortable place less than 30 minutes from my office (martin place). I have lived in London and Paris, but my longest Flat share experience was in Singapore for 3 years (where I currently live) I am looking for friendly and clean flatmates that respect my private life but also enjoy a weekend brunch by the beach and discussions around (a) bottle(s) of wine/beer, watching movies, travelling. I have been sharing flats with many different nationalities (british, malay, swiss, belgian,...) and we all became good friends. Finally I play tennis/golf and enjoy photography.
Project Manager working in engineering, I like nature and the outdoors, enjoy quiet relaxing nights during the week with a glass of wine, love the beach and good movies. Interested to share a place with an easy going and open person, willing to socialise and help keep the place clean. I tend to work late and also travel quite a bit for work and on weekends so you'd have the place for yourself a lot as well.
Hi guys, My name is Isabella and I'm a 20 year old student from the Netherlands. I will be doing my 6 months internship in Sydney at the Lane Cove Council. My studies are Social and Cultural Development at the University in Utrecht. I really like it and I'm excited to come to Australia for my Internship. Hi I'm Sarah! Work full time in the city, love my job. I'm very easy going and friendly. I love to have a chat at the end of the day, have super salad-making skills and am also a great instruction reader and flat pack assembler. Looking for a nice place to live with a great flatmate or flatmates!
I'm a laid back, outgoing and sociable Brit, who's recently moved here from the UK and looking to stay for the long-term. I work in website and app design, so will be generally working weekdays 9-5. I'm a clean and tidy individual, and very respectful of people's privacy. Plus I like to cook, so don't mind sharing a meal or two each week. I like to watch any kind of sports and I'm an active person; I play soccer several times a week here in Sydney, and played American football back in the UK, and did lots of road cycling. I also love watching movies (at the cinema or at home), fashion and going out for dinner/coffee/brunch. Just looking to move into somewhere with some likeminded, sociable people who can become friends as well as housemates. I need to be near transport links to the CBD ideally.
Hi, I am Gyte from Lithuania. I am a pharmacist back in my home country. I am coming in November to study business and looking for someone to live with in Sydney. I love sport, music, movies. And I love to keep the house clean.
I'm a brazilian guy very organised and clean, easy going, love cook, like joking, beach, beers, wines, watch movie and series. I'm looking for a comfortable house and private room to have my peace moments at home. I work Monday to Saturday and I have IT class 3 days a week. I'm graduated in IT and looking for a job in this area but at the moment I'm working as a driver.
Hey potential roomie! I'm a graphic designer from Queensland, and I've been in Sydney since December living in Erskineville. I love the area but I'm ready for a move and I'm happy to live anywhere. I work in Surry Hills near Museum station so anywhere close to the trains will be great for me! I'm bubbly and outgoing, as well as extremely clean and considerate of other peoples' space and privacy. I would like to live with people who have the same values and will pull their weight around the house with cleaning. I'm extremely house proud and would suit living with someone with the same ideals. Ideally I'd love my own bathroom after previous bad experiences with sharing. I work out everyday at 6am, so ideally I'd love to live within walking distance of an F45 gym. I'm not a party animal, but I'd love to share with someone who likes to have fun and will have a wine or two with me on occasion! I work out everyday and live a healthy lifestyle, I also love to cook, travel and be creative.
Hello there, I'm looking for a home rather than a house I share. The outdoors is where I spend my time over the weekend (usually running in the bush). I'm active and like to experiment in the kitchen ('cooking' is a bit strong :)). Would be fantastic to find a place on the lower North Shore or Inner West. My own bathroom/en suite is a non-negotiable, built-ins and a secure underground car park would be a bonus. My move in date is flexible for the right flatmate. Thanks for looking at my profile.
Hi, I'm an easy going adventurous, curious person who likes diving, enjoying various cultures and cooking. I moved to Sydney from Belgium a year ago and I work full time as software developer.
Hi! I am a 25 year old from the US who is moving to Sydney with my job at the end of October for 2 years. I work in IT at an accounting firm and will be in the CBD. I visited Sydney earlier this year and fell in love with it...as I hear is easy to do :) I am easy to get along with, very tidy and respectful. I value my alone time, but am also very social and am always up for a chat over a few drinks. I enjoy working out, running, going out on weekends, going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Most of all I am looking for flatmates who can also be friends!
A simple smile would do to make new relations :) I am very easy going person... Like to be highly organized... Looking for a Private room... House/Flat Share (No bunk beds please) inn and close to City. Look Forward to Meeting my new friends :)
Hi there! I'm Dave, sports fanatic and pro BBQ'er. I'm a social guy looking for a cool place to live. I take pride in keeping public spaces tidy, I enjoy a cook up and beers in the living room.
Hi there! Looking for a short term (8-10 weeks) private room, preferably close to city (Glebe, Rozelle, Surry Hills, Newtown etc). I am tidy and quiet, although I do love sharing a meal, coffee, stories of the day over tea, or saving the world over a beer. Have the respect to leave the common areas as I find them, if not better. I study and work and go out for hiking, jogging, yogaing or for a swim whenever I can. A sunny day is wasted indoors! (Did I mention I'd been living in Germany and it means I go crazy about replenishing vitamin-D supplies when possible). Home is a place to come back to chill after a busy/active day. Friendly flatmates on top of it would be only heavenly <3 I can move in anytime after the 1st of Nov. Best, Nagi
Easy going, clean and tidy professional is looking for like minded people to live with. I'm really quite over the weekdays but active on weekends. Into fitness, soccer, long drives, beach, movies and TV series
