Kiwi working at a media agency who has just moved to Melbourne! Clean, friendly, and always down for some banter and a beer.
My name is Laura. I'm 36 yo, originally from Spain and since December last year Permanent Resident in Australia. I have lived in a number of places around the world and I've really enjoyed living in previous households where we can come together and share meals, have a laugh, enjoy each others company but at the same time be considerate of each others space and belongings. I'm looking to share a respectful, clean and tidy home. If possible with people who enjoy creativity, travel, good food, wine, cycling and the mountains I'd get along very well with. I work full-time in the CBD as an Architect and my work hours are a standard 9am-5:30pm unless I have a deadline that will have me working through the evening. I love to socialise and go out for dinner, drinks or simply to explore the suburbs but I also like quiet time on my own to unwind (not a big fan of watching TV) PS - Flexible with dates although ideally after 19th November if possible
Hello! I'm a Kiwi moving over to Melbourne for work as a Climate Change and Sustainability Consultant. Looking for a flat that's a relaxing environment and would be keen for social activities together during weekends! Outside of work I love dancing and travelling. I do a range of styles across latin and ballroom with my favourite ones being salsa and bachata To date I have worked and studied over five continents so always down for a hearty yarn about the next adventure. Cheers, John Liang
Hey! I'm a young professional, soon-to-be Masters student at University of Melbourne looking for a room in a friendly house. I am moving from New Zealand and am excited to settle in Melbourne! A few things I love are cooking, the outdoors, yoga, travel and good coffee. I am relatively quiet as a flatmate but I love to chat and hang too. I am looking forward to meeting you!
Friendly outgoing Irish 25 year old girl. Clean and easy going. Working full time in a global tech company. Looking for a shared place to hang out in the evenings, have the odd communal dinner, and a glass of wine to debrief after a long day! I enjoy a night out on the weekend, going to gigs, running, surfing, yoga, and will hopefully join a GAA club at some stage. Hoping to move in as soon as possible, but flexible on dates. Looking for a 6 month + lease. Excited to see what Melbourne has to offer :)
I am a music composition student from Perth who wants to study in Melbourne. My main focus for music is composing for other people's short films they make and things like that. Any instrument I play is compatible with headphones so there's no need to worry about excess noise. I work as a bartender and will likely continue to be doing so once I move there.
Hey there future roomie/roomies! My name is Brooke, I’m 27, and I would like to think I'm a pretty cool chick. I'm originally from sunny San Diego, California and have traveled quite a bit in my time on spaceship Earth. I’m starting my second year of my working holiday and have hopelessly fallen in love with Melbourne and will be here my entire second year. My interests are pretty varied. I am a definite foodie so I think it's safe to say I will feel at home trying all Melbourne's fantastic cuisine. I am also very active in the doof, music, arts, and burner community. I love going to see live music sets, vintage shopping, and long walks wondering the city, but also cuddling up with a glass of wine and watching Netflix with a friend. My schedule is rather flexible but I also live a very active and social lifestyle. I plan to travel a good bit so there will be weekends and weeks where I won't be at the house as well. I am a very respectful, get along well with others, and am used to sharing common spaces as well as keeping them tidy. I would really love to move into a place where I can be friends with those I live with and share common interests. So I would love to move into a place where we can create a comfy home, share experiences and have some adventures together!
Hi! I am looking for a one or two bed furnished apartment /house available from the middle of November until January! We are also open to one or two rooms in an existing sharehouse! We are moving back down to Melbourne from Brisbane and we both work full time. We are both sociable, respectful/considerate individuals! Please get in touch if you have anything suitable! Thanks
Mahalo, My name is Kat, I'm currently on the hunt to find somewhere that feels a little bit more like home plus the extra space would be nice. I'm 27 years of age, I work full time as a Senior Stylist at a hairdressing salon in Collingwood, I'm also a Graphic Designer and I've just started a new business/studio with a dear friend of mine. My life is rather busy but it works for me. I'm an easy outgoing individual, I dance and listen to disco in the mornings sometimes to wake myself up, I love living in a clean house of zen, I'm sucker for my wine/beer/cheese (all things nice) I'm respectful of others, cooking is my way of meditating AND like everyone I'm a big consumer in netflix/stan when I have down time. Now I do have a furry man in my life, he's roughly 8kgs, chatty, orange and VERY affectionate once he gets use to his surroundings. Hes a cat and His name is Murphy. I do know most properties/people don't feel comfortable having pets in the house but he's better house trained then most humans. Im happy to pay rent/bond up front and I'm willing to stay 6 months + depending on the situation and if we gel. If I sound like the kind of human you want to live with get in touch 🙂
Looking for a bright, clean, decent sized bedroom (that can fit a double bed, desk, chair) in 30-40min travel (by public transport ) radius to the CBD, in a quiet household with awesome people. My name is Surya, I am a 27 year old Software Engineer working at a consultancy in the city. I have recently moved to Melbourne (mostly for work) after living in Sydney for about three years. I am originally from India and I have lived in Hong Kong, the US, and Canada in the past, travelled quite a bit. I am easy going and I can get along well with pretty much anyone (INTP on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator). I am independent, usually clean, dependable, responsible, more than happy to share household chores (is that even a question?), respectful of people's space and I am left leaning on the political spectrum. I am extremely passionate about the work I do and I am occupied by it during the weekdays. So I am looking for a cozy home to come back to, maybe go for a run or to the gym, read a book (mostly philosophy - reading about Stoicism atm), code a little on some of my side projects and recharge for the next day. When it comes to the weekends, I try to go out for walks/hikes, meetups, catch up with mates, cook (sometimes), watch a movie, explore the city etc. I am not only looking for a room but also a friend or two to hang out with when time permits (also respect each other's space when it doesn't), in a queitish household, preferably someone in their late 20's/early 30's.
I've just moved back to Australia after being away for 9 years so it feels like im starting a new life. Currently working as cabin crew so I travel alot for work. I enjoy keeping fit and cooking. I'm looking for clean and tidy place with own bathroom.
