Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying (which is hardly ever) I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
Hi, my name is Malisa. I am a 27 year old architect from Perth! I have recently returned to Australia from London and am relocating to Melbourne for a new job in Fitzroy, which starts mid June. I am friendly, tidy and sociable housemate and have lived in share houses for several years so well house trained. I am also ideally looking for a furnished room with a double bed in a friendly share house. I love checking out exhibitions, seeing live music, cooking, trying to grow plants and travelling! I am hoping to find a friendly share house with a nice living space and perhaps even a courtyard or garden, which will be available by mid-June! It would be great to find housemates that like to share a glass of wine or have a house dinner every now and then! Please get in touch if you think I would be great addition to your house or if you are looking and think we might be able to team up! Thanks Malisa
Hi! I'm moving down to Melbourne from Darwin (originally from Perth) and will be working at the University of Melbourne. So i'm happy to live within a 12km radius around Uni Melbourne or the CBD. I am a veterinarian specialising in Animal Welfare, and an am awesome person to hang out with. Love intelligent conversations over quality wine (don't do quantity). I have a weird sense of humour. I do yoga, gym and try to keep fit as much as possible. Love classical music and would also invite you to my favourite concertos or operas. I also sing in a choir and will probably start looking for one when I head down to Melbourne. Comes with two lovely pets, a white cat (Casper) and a small Japanese spitz (Shippo) dog. They are the cutest thing you ever seen. The dog is low shedding so you wont get hair all over your furniture. Perfectly house (indoor) trained by myself, calm and well behaved. I also have a 'pet' Roomba that will clean the house for you. About me: Love the minimalist style so i hate clutter. Don't play Jenga with dishes in the sink, or rubbish in the bin. I don't see housework as a chore, i see it as a form of calorie burning exercise so i get to eat sweets without feeling guilty. Am considerate to your needs because i think it's a really important factor when 2 or more people live together. Hope you will pick me as a housemate.
Hey Im Ethan, Iv just moved here from New Zealand as a chef. I'm quiet but easy to get along with and down to earth. I like to spin a good yarn and am keen to make friends in Melbourne.
Hello! Am chasing a one bedroom flat for just myself, I just want my own relaxing space to call home :) I work shift work and my hours can be a little taxing on housemates. About me - Am bordering OCD when it comes to cleanliness and take pride in my environment. Working professional in a full time position, have been renting for five years and am very financially reliable. Hobbies, when time off permits (a rarity) include all things outdoors (camping, hiking, skiing, 4WDing), all things food (excellent cook), craft beer & coffee, weights training & road trips. If anyone is hoping to transfer their lease or has a one bedroom flat on offer, ping me a message!
I am a beautiful, warm-hearted and friendly young lady from Zambia. I just completed my studies at the University of Melbourne and currently working part time on weekdays and every weekend. I am very easy going, tidy and clean. I highly respect other people's property. And I am not a party animal. Enjoy travelling thus am hardly ever at home. Very responsible and believe that sharing a house is made much easier when bills are paid in time.
Hey all, my name is Michael and I am a 25 year old business owner. I am friendly and easy to get along with. I'm tidy and respectful to my housemates. I currently live in St Kilda but I am wanting to move to a different location. I enjoy sport, cooking, movies and nights out in my spare time.
Hey there! My name is Kevan (Yes, that is spelled correctly, I think my mother was still high on morphine when she signed the birth cert) I'm a 29 year old Irishman, but am now an Australian citizen also, which is sweeeeeet! I’m an electrical instrumentation technician by trade, working with a water treatment company based in Murrumbeena. I work a standard Monday to Friday 7.30 to 4pm. When I'm not working I’m either training, attempting to learn Spanish or reading books that would bore most people to death! I keep it pretty quiet during the week, at weekends I'm either celebrating the end of the week with a beer, out exploring somewhere new in the city or rock climbing. When it comes to house mate ethics, I communicate well and am generally a social butterfly so get on with all types of individual! I’m tidy, respectful of others and have no problem in tackling the daily household chores and maintaining a high level of cleanliness. If you've any questions feel free to ask me anything. Ciao!
Super neat, hardly home, quiet, pet free, smoke free, drama free! Hobbies? Cooking, reading, yoga, travelling and dining out. I work full-time in the city for an engineering company. Looking for a furnished room within 5km of the CBD in a clean, neat, pet-free home.
I am a mid-20s professional who works for a Big 4 consulting firm. I have lived my whole life in Melbourne except for a 2 years stint in Canberra. I enjoy playing sport, eating out and going for a drink. I have lived in share houses before.

I'm ideally looking for a room around Hawthorn or Brunswick (these 2 sides of the city) I'm friendly, clean, house_share_trained, easygoing , and looking for same future flatmates. I can make an amazing Carbonara ...and that might be enough to get the place, without considering a funny accent included in the package 😂 Let me know! Thanks guys🤞🏻 Ps: I'd need to find something as soon as possible
Hi! I'm a mid-twenties professional relocating from Sydney to Melbourne at the beginning of July. I work full time in property development and usually keep busy running in the mornings and cooking/getting out and about on the weekends. I love a good cocktail night but equally happy for a movie or just to curl up and watch the footy! Looking for a place to call home and flatmates who are friendly and house proud.

I'm a queer artist/carpenter, coffee and non-fiction are as good as gatherings and a cold bevy. My old doggo companion will fulfil all of your cuteness needs, very chilled and quiet border collie cross, she's more like a human/cat than a dog. I love having a good chilled family vibe in a place, makes it feel like home :) Move date is July ish but am able to pay rent from now.

I work full-time as a Yoga & Meditation teacher and am always out and about with work and occasional social gatherings :) I'm looking for somewhere to chill out and recharge after long days where I could find some quiet time. I'd love to share the house with easy going, healthy, clean and respectful people who are not party animals but enjoy the eventual brunch, glass of wine and good conversations. Only looking for private rooms in non-smoking places, and preferably sharing with people of same age range (28-35) . If that's what you've got, please shoot me a message :)
Hey there! I'm Sam and I'm looking for permanent accommodation around Melbourne. I currently work a stable and great sales job full time as I am taking a year off from Uni. I am an easy going and happy person who readily gets along with almost anyone. I'm not at home much during the week and my weekends are usually filled with seeing friends, catching up on TV shows and a couple or a few glasses of wine. I'm looking for a place to call home for six months as my sister is moving to Melbourne at the beginning of next year. I am clean, organized and come with a great discount on electricity and gas bills due to my job. I'm not overly fussed about where I live, as long as there is good access to public transport and a couple of good cafes in the area. I'm happy to look at teaming up with you and some others if you are interested, or moving into a new place towards the end of June/start of July. Shoot me a message if you're interested. :)
I'm 26, originally from the USA but have been in Melbourne for just over a year (and no plans to leave anytime soon). I work in marketing/media as an editor for a design & creative company in the CBD (standard 9-to-5 hours). I keep pretty busy during the week with work (and usually a mid-week trivia night or dinner party). I spend my weekends with friends, going to events, or heading out of the city for a hike or a bike ride. I don't have much furniture/house stuff, but do have a few fun kitchen things. I also like music, podcasts, cooking, running (occasionally), and can keep plants alive. I'm a generally neat/clean person, and I've been living in Fitzroy for the past year in a sharehouse. Would love to find a place on the north side with friendly flatmates!
I'm a very cheerful girl, pacifist, creative, clean, tidy, respectful. I'll be in melbourne for a long time, so I'm looking for a house to share with wonderful people. I'm studying food science, so I enjoy cooking, and share some meal and a glass of wine. I'm also friendly with pets, especially with cats, if you have a cat I'll love her/him. I hope you can meet me to share more interesting things.
I'm 28, originally from Geelong but have been living in Melbourne for a few years now and everything still seems new. I'm very neat and clean without being OCD and respectful of other people's space and property. Have lived in share and boarding houses most of my life so no issues there. I work full time in the city 9-5 for the government, and love coming home and going to the gym then putting my feet up to some bad TV and beer. Would love to not just share a house with someone but live with friends.
Hi, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. Currently I am staying about an hour away from uni. The commute is taking up a lot of my time and also stopping me from attending quite a few activities at the uni. So I am looking to move to a place closer to uni. ideally within 20 mins of the uni by bike. Move date would be sometime during the month long semester break which starts towards the end of June. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but I am hoping to win the war someday.
