I am looking for somewhere new to live. I am a freelance graphic designer who works mostly from home, so I am flexible when it comes to locale, but not having a car, I prefer to stick to the inner city and its surrounds. While I am not unsociable, and am up for a drink/meal/laugh with housemates, I am fairly low-key at home, respectful of everyone’s space, pretty easy-going, tidy and I pay my bills on time. So, what do you say? Let’s do this . . .
I'm an easygoing, second year Melbourne uni student studying Bachelor of Science with Pre-med. I have moved around a lot. I used to live in Australia, moved to the US during high school, and moved back here for uni. I love working out, swimming and being outdoors in general. I spend a lot of time studying but like to go out once or twice a week. I'm fairly neat and like to cook a little.
Hey I'm Ashley, I'm 23 years old, originally from the Gold Coast. I've been in Melbourne for about 6 months living on the south side and I'm ready to find a new home on the north side! I've got a degree in sound engineering but currently working full time 9-5 for Suncorp. I love music, eating, animals and hanging out
Relaxed. Have lived in share houses for more than 10 years in the past. Can cook and clean. Only around during the week for the most part, and travel a bit for work, so I'm more like a part timer if that aligns with what you're looking for. I own a house in Jan Juc and have lived there for 2 years, but work has remained in city and the commute is getting too much for me. I ride bikes and surf as my release. I love love music, interested in art, literature, science. Have a steady good job I've been at for 7 years. Love to travel. Fun loving, sometimes to my detriment. Looking for a base in town with interesting people.
Hi, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. Currently I am staying about an hour away from uni. The commute is taking up a lot of my time and also stopping me from attending quite a few activities at the uni. So I am looking to move to a place closer to uni. ideally within 20 mins of the uni by bike. Move date would be sometime during the month long semester break which starts towards the end of June. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but I am hoping to win the war someday.
Hi potential house mates. I'm a fun loving, easy going 27 year-old, currently working as an Art Director at an advertising agency. I've spend the past 3 years traveling and living overseas, so definitely have a few interesting stories to share. I'm a neat and helpful person, who pays bills on time. I love photography, film, basketball, running and quite recently I've been getting into a bit of surfing. I've got all my own furniture and a TV if the living room is lacking one. I hope to find a great room and meet even greater people.
I'm a 35 years old spanish guy. I'm a postdoctoral researcher (sociologist) of the University of the Basque Country and on May I'll start a research stay at the RMIT. Never been in Australia before and I would love to know as much as I can about the country and Melbourne. Generally I am cheerful, talkative and curious. Quite sociable, a little bit unpunctual but committed. And I would say that hard worker. In recent years I have noticed that I am a little maniac with things like order and cleanliness. I am a smoker, but I respect and fulfil the rules that are assigned to me in this regard. I enjoy a lot cooking and eating, swimming, and riding bike. Love reading, music and concerts too. Compared with those of my generation I have not travelled much but I have lived with many different people. I would say that I'm used to share and being flexible.
I’m 23 and I work in the Film and TV industry. I’m going to be a world famous movie Director one day but until then I’m just working and making shorts & music videos. When I’m not doing that I’ll be cooking, drinking with friends, watching movies and TV, and going out for coffee and brunch. I’m from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains, NSW, I studied and worked in Canberra for 4 years, then I worked and traveled in Europe last year. Now I'm moving to Melbourne for work and play and I need a new home! Back in Uni, I was a Senior Residential Support Officer (RA) for two years, so I getting along with people I live with used to be my job. Since then I rented an apartment for a year with one of my best friends and we got along famously. I’d like to live with people who are as sociable as I am. Having your own space should be something you can share with new friends and old, so I want to be able to invite over friends and hang out together. My interests are: - Going on adventures and taking photographs. - Film, TV and Movies. - I love music and making playlists. - Coffee, Brunch, Beer and Kebabs. - Spicy Memes and YouTube videos. - Cooking for others and drinking as a group. - I do Movember every year. My lifestyle choices are: - I like to have a good sleep cycle, eat well and I’ve started taking cold showers and exercising in the mornings. - I’m an anti-smoker and I believe in hugs not drugs, but I don’t hold it against people. - I like to keep a clean house, a clean room, and a clean body. - I’m currently single and looking to meet someone. - I’m trying to save money this year for either my next travels or my first feature film. If you are interested in having me over for an inspection or meeting me for a team up, please send me a message or call me any time. I’m really open and I'm looking to meet new people, and make new friends, so I’m always down for a good coffee or a cold beer.
Hi there. My name's Sam. I'm 30 & I've been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I work full-time in the CBD in Finance, 9-5:30 Mon to Fri. In my spare time I'm often out hunting for new places for breakfast and spending more than I should on vinyl. I enjoy reading tech blogs, pop culture, a few beers over trivia and the occasional Netflix binge (currently watching Dirk Gently). Seal's Kiss from a Rose is my go-to karaoke song. I'm currently looking to find a relaxed space to share with some friendly people starting mid-June I'm looking to stay long term (min 6 months), and am happy to put my name on the lease if needed. I'm share-house trained, clean, respectful, timely with bills and LGBTQ friendly. I'm looking for flatmates who are approachable and enjoy sharing a few drinks over dinner now and then, but understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. Ideally I'm looking for a home more than a house, and enjoy being social with my flatmates. It's also important that the new house is close to public transport :) I try to eat healthy but I'm a sucker for a good parma. I typically organise my own food, but I'm happy to throw in for any communal house dinners or share if you ever need ingredients in a pinch! I'll be bringing a fridge with me too, so plenty of space for beer and extras! I don't have any pets, but I do have a good dad joke. 'Did you hear James Bond slept through an earthquake? He was shaken but not stirred'.
Hi, I am a Masters of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I am an international student with previous experience living in shared accommodation. I am pretty easy going, conscientious and respectful. I like to keep busy and like exploring new places, but am equally at home catching up with housemates over a beer or two. Being vegetarian transitioning towards vegan, I tend to cook for myself but am always open to finding out what others think about my food. I like keeping my surroundings clean and appreciate clean people. I am also environmentally conscious and would enjoy living with similar humans. I am looking for a room in a house or a flat which I could call home for at least the next 6 months and am looking to move asap.
I currently work in social media marketing in the CBD, usually spend my nights watching some trashy tv shows (Rupaul or Honey Boo Boo) or a doco on Netflix and eating the same meal repeatedly. I have some pretty good pros, in that I come with a Fridge, Lounge, Table, Chairs and most communal kitchen items. I'm also pretty good at puns and being inappropriate. I've lived in shared houses for over 3 years, so I'm fairly across housemate etiquette but I am really keen on making my house a home.
Well as i'm sure it states somewhere, My name is Sam. I've spent my whole life in Auckland and have decided to make a big move to Melbourne! I'm pretty unsure about where I want to live but I'm excited about it all. I'm a very good cleaner - especially dishes - and consider myself a pretty responsible and considerate person. I know literally no one in Melbourne (exciting) and look forward to making a fresh start. I am an actor, so my working arrangements will be based around whatever fits in with acting classes and auditioning. Thanks for your time :)
Hi all! I'm Amelie. I'm a 30 year old fun and lovely gal. Looking for somewhere to live that's chilled out and clean. I'm a bit of a hipster at heart but without the pretentiousness and the looks. I love going to markets and cafes, upcycling small projects, pot plants, rustic furniture, cooking, drinking fountains of tea, appreciating life and having a laugh. I've just moved to Melbourne from Sydney (originally a New Zealander) so I'm still finding my feet at the moment. I absolutely love Melbourne! Ideally I'd like to live with people similar to my age who have outgrown the partying phase. I'm quite independent and love working on creative projects so I do like a lot of downtime to myself occasionally. I enjoy cooking and taking care of myself, eating healthy and exercising. I take a lot of pride in the space where I live so I really like places that are clean and creative, with people who are kind and considerate to each other and don't mind the occasional banter.
Hey guys, we are looking for a lovely couple or single to share a new house with in the Brunswick / Coburg area. We are a couple in our 20s with a gorgeous golden retriever x staffy. We've been in the Brunswick area for a year or so now and are looking for others to join us on a new lease. We have a few houses lined up to apply for, all of them are close to public transport, have off road parking and you will have your own bathroom. We are looking for a couple / single who enjoy company but also have their own thing going on. Ideally looking at moving into a new house in mid-june. Please flick a message through for any other details you might need and we can organise a time to meet up and chat.
Hello everybody, I'm currently living in SA and have just about had enough of this place frankly, I just cannot get work here to save my life. I live in a nice house that my parents spent all their money rebuilding, but I need to move out for my own good. I've talked to a few people and they recommended Melbourne as a good place to start. I'm pretty quiet overall, but have a better sense of humour than many and enjoy travelling and photography. I tend to prefer staying at home, I never have been and never will be of the "party type", its not for me. I'm an online gamer too and thus my only prerequisite is an immediate wired internet connection. I am ready to move at any moment's notice. Currently not working at the present moment but feel a change in scenery is exactly what I need to find something. Thanks, Anthony.
Heya :) I'm Karol, originally from Brazil but have been living in Melbourne for about 4 years now. I work full-time as a Yoga & Meditation teacher and am always out and about with work and occasional social gatherings :) I'm looking for somewhere to chill out and recharge after long days where I could find some quiet time. I'd love to share the house with easy going, healthy, clean and respectful people who are not party animals but enjoy the eventual brunch, glass of wine and good conversations. Only looking for private rooms in non-smoking places, and preferably sharing with people of same age range (28-35) . If that's what you've got, please shoot me a message :)
Hey there! I'm Carmelo, 29/ Italian , working FT in constructions, at 2 sites located both in Balwyn and Hawthorn. I'm ideally looking for a room around Balwyn_Hawthorn_Kew or wherever I can get to work easily, even Brunswick and around (Near tram route 109 and easily accessible to Glenferrie station would be great, but not essential) I'm friendly, clean, house_share_trained, easygoing , and looking for same future flatmates. I can make an amazing Carbonara ...and that might be enough to get the place, without considering a funny accent included in the package 😂 Let me know! Thanks guys🤞🏻 Ps: I'd need to find something as soon as possible
I am Junaid Saeed, 27, from Pakistan. I am moving to Melbourne on 08 June, 2017 to start my course at RMIT University City Campus. I am no-smoker, clean and tidy. I like to socialize and I am easy going. I shall pay the rent on time. I care for others' peace and comfort, therefore I would make a good flat mate. Cheers!
We are a young couple, looking for an accomodation in Melbourne. We will arrive in June and we want to work there for few months. We are easy to live with, we like to cook, to have a drink sometimes, to go out on week end and to watch TV series and films. We are clean and discrete.
Hi guys! My name is Vivek Vyas. I'm from India. I moved to Melbourne two months ago. I did my high school and bachelors in Perth. I'm currently doing Professional Year in Engineering at Monash College. I'm a social and outgoing person who loves to talk to people. I've lived in Australia for about 7 years now so I've lived with different housemates and I never had any issues with anyone so far. I like to maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the house so none of you would face that problem (I know everyone hates that lazy guy). I like to play squash and travel to places around for weekend hikes. I enjoy a drink or two sometimes when I hang out with friends but I'm not a party animal. I'm not a smoker either. If you happen to have a pet, I'm pet friendly. I have a dog back home and I just love him. Just looking for housemates who are easy going, friendly and respect each other's privacy. Thank you!
