Hello to all potential house/flatmates! We are two girls aged 24 & 25 looking for a double room or two rooms in a share house or flat for a couple of months (preferably not lease). One of us is working casual full-time, plus doing evening graphic design classes and the other just moved to Melbourne and is actively looking for a job. We're super friendly, sociable, but respectful of everyone's personal space (so we're happy to join you for a beer, chat or cook dinner together but won't bother you with too much small talk), always clean after ourselves, like to talk about traveling, good food or anything else that comes to our mind. We LOVE pets so if you have one, we'll probably spoil it a bit. Basically we're a great housemate material :) Feel free to drop a message and find out more about us!
Hi guys, I am a backpacker from Germany currently working and living in Melbourne. I have been in the city since february and now that I have two jobs here (waitress in a restaurant in cbd and bartender at a pub in windsor) I would like to leave the hostel and move into preferably a fun sharehouse. While I was working in Cairns for 4 month I shared a house with 7 amazing girls from all over the world. I would love to call something similar my new home. A place where flatmates hang out with each other. I am tidy, easy going and always up for a good laugh. Maybe we can have a good time together? If interested I'd love to meet you guys and we can see whether it could be a fit! Cheers Elina
I'm a lawyer and postgrad student at the University of Melbourne. I am incredibly clean and tidy. I'm also friendly and social, but respect the need for privacy and down time. I love a nice wine, happy chats and delicious food. Currently my time is balanced between home, university, volunteering, work and great friends :)
Nurse with a non-nurse schedule - but it's still pretty all over the place. I'm Jess, working full-time, studying part-time. I'm looking for a proper home, somewhere I know and get along with my housemate(s), but also where I can just relax by myself. I'm looking for somewhere close to work, preferably with parking. I'm super allergic to cats, but absolutely adore dogs. Message me with questions!
In the middle of my 20s, I’ve lived in Melbourne for a year. At the moment studying and working full time. I am a very easy going and responsible person, very tidy with all my things understanding that it is a shared house and we have to respect each other. As a foodie I’m always down for dinners, chats and wine along friends in the end of the day. I am currently living in the same shared house for almost a year now, where I have made incredible friends. The only reason I am looking to leave is a matter of location and having my own room. So I would be very happy to hear from you if there is anything available! Cheers 😉
I am currently a Masters of Law student at the University of Melbourne, while my sister is a student at LaTrobe University. We are from Abu Dhabi, UAE and we are looking for a 2 bedroom place close to transportation. We are very friendly, responsible, hard working and clean individuals who love plants and cooking. We’ve never missed a rental payment as of yet.
My name’s Sofia, I’m 25 and I’m a medical scientist and also a dance teacher. When I’m not at work I try and get out and about. I’m a mad footy fan, I love a good gig and a follow up sesh at the pub. At home I’m pretty quiet doing research for work but I love to procrastinate by baking and going to to the gym
I’m Australian and half Japanaese. I’m clean, free spirited, hard working, social and happy. I love running, rock climbing, skydiving and surfing. I respect other people’s space and enjoy my own time but also love a night out.
Moving from NZ to Melbourne on April 28, had plans to move in somewhere but they didn't work out :/ so here I am. I'm a pretty chill guy. Web developer and gamer so a decent internet connection is required. Don't drink but I like to be social, so a place where people aren't total hermits would be cool. Hit me up if you have any more questions, cheers.
Hey guys! I'm moving away from Sydney to get some of these great Melb vibes! I'm easygoing and into the whole super creative side of things. I've been entering a lot of film festivals and am training to be a scriptwriter. Also love a bottle of wine and cheese or a boardgame/videogame night (I just got given a Switch, I completely suck at Mario Kart and every other videogame in existence, so I'll probably boost your ego too!) Ideally looking at areas around Fitzroy (Carlton, Fitzroy North, Collingwood, Abbotsford etc), and flexible with move dates between April/May. My personal weekly budget is max $300 but am flexible to negotiate if there are bigger rooms or extra bathrooms. I'm looking for people who are able to clean up after themselves and are genuinely great people to hang out with! I love a drink or two with my housemates, but I also enjoy a bit of alone time too - and understand that people need space. I’ve been in student accommodation, share houses and have always paid rent on time, so I am an experienced and considerate housemate if that's what you're after. If you also want to be involved in some short films, or are just into the more creative side, hit me up! I'd love to chat.
I’m an English girl working full time in the cbd. I’m a laidback social person but love having my own time aswell. I am looking for a place I can call home where I can relax after a 12 hour shift. I love to share a bottle of wine and watch Netflix or if you need your space I’m cool with that too.
Hello! I'm an American living and working in Melbourne. I've lived in Australia for over a year and am looking for a new place to call home for the next few months starting June. I currently work full time in marketing and love all things outdoors. I'm social, easy going and low maintenance, and love my solo time as well. Ideally looking for a private room in a share house with a couple of housemates, but am flexible with my options!
Hello future roomie(s), My name is Lakeisha. I am a computer engineering student at RMIT University. I am from Suriname and have lived in Melbourne for nearly 2 years now. When i'm not busy coding or studying, I love to read and watch Netflix. I am looking for a house/apartment share close to the city. I am flexible with furnishings and also would not mind a teamup. :) I am tidy, responsible, and respectful of other's personal space. I also like to socialize and go out for brunch/dinner together. I'm only looking to share with other females.
I’m 24 and originally from New Zealand but have lived in Melbourne the past couple of years and have well and truly made it home. I’m a pretty chill person, tend to spend my weeknights reading, writing or watching Netflix- but am definitely partial to a few of drinks in the weekend. Love going to gigs and cafe hopping, and am very social so you might not always see me on the weekends
I'm a kiwi, new to Melbourne. Work as an Office Manager. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, eating out, staying in and watching Netflix, reading and exploring the city. I'm looking for a flat that people treat like a home with like-minded, considerate and tidy people.
I'm 27 and work for 000, so I'm great in an emergency. For fun, I like going to museums, dancing, traveling, and eating. I'm originally from NY, but I've decided to make Melbourne my home. I'm looking for someplace clean, relatively quiet, with nice people who are down for a good chat.
Hello! I’m Sam - a 27 year old easy-going guy working full time in professional services. Originally from the UK, but now a permanent resident here. A bit about me - I love sports, going on trips, and live music. Always up for a drink if that’s your thing, or I’m happy doing my own thing. I’m flexible with move date but looking at May or June ideally. Thanks!
A recent graduate who works part-time as a salad artist until she finds a full-time job. A senior but not expensive housemate, featuring: • 5+ years experience in house-sharing • Always clean, respectful and responsible (My housemates hardly find the evidence of me cooking) • Above-average friendliness • Hosted 1 garage sale, 3 birthday surprises and 2 welcome parties for the housemates • Owns a 50" television, a wireless printer, a bike, 2 frisbees and a ukulele • Fluent in English and Mandarin (I'm from Taiwan) • Loves to talk about politics • Not a party animal but enjoys dancing in an appropriate environment • Overall, a very likeable young woman Looking for a sociable and mature (everyone cleans after themselves and refills the toilet paper) house/flat, preferably with lots of natural light as I enjoy reading during the day when I'm not working. I also like to stay in the living room and greet the housemates so I hope my future housemates are comfortable with that. My ideal length of stay is 12 months before I finally move back to fight for my country. Feel free to ask me anything as I really take my 100% response rate seriously.
I'm an easy going and clean guy moving from Canberra to Melbourne with my puppy Chief. Looking for somewhere that we can call home and set up in Melbourne longer term. I'm a professional video editor working mainly for TV stations like Channel 7 for news and sport. Outside of work I'll be exploring and learning the ropes of Melbourne, eating health and exercising. Always keen to hang out but equally happy to have my own space. Chief is an absolutely amazing dog, super friendly, respectful and chill - you'll love him immediately.
Hi there. I'm Robin, a 26 years old IT student from Germany. I studied last year for one semester at Swinburne University and fell immediately in love with Melbourne. So extended my stay by another few months (one year at the maximum), in order to gain some working experience in Australia. The length of my stay depends mostly on my work situation, so I'd prefer to stay flexible about the move-out date, but I'm sure we can find a deal that suits both of us. I'm well experienced living in a shared flat, so you can be sure, that I keep my things tidy. I'm always up for social cooking, a chat in the kitchen or a drink at the weekend. Most people say that I am an easy going person and roommate with the utmost respect for other's belongings. I love to cook, have a passion for programming and can often be found in the boulder gym. I'm looking for friendly, respectful and active flatmates. I' looking forward to meeting you! :)
