Hello! My name is Laura and my boyfriend Chris and I are hoping to move to Melbourne in September. We're two Aussie's in our early twenties currently living in the countryside of New South Wales, hoping to find a room in a sharehouse or a one bedroom place of our own. I'm an artist/barista combo, and finished my Fine Arts degree last year. Chris is a fantastic plumber who's hoping to start his own business in Melbourne. We've been saving up for the last year to move somewhere fun and fresh. We're comfortable in most settings and don't make much noise unless it's the right time and place. Ideally we'd like to be immersed in a creative space full of like-minded people. We've both lived in lots of sharehouses before and know the drill, we're clean and we don't hide away in our room!
Hi, I'm Beth and I'm 30 years old. I have been flatmate-trained for the past 7 years now. I work in the real estate industry as a sales agent which keeps me occupied for most of the week. I like being busy and on the move but definitely know how to chill out on the couch when the time calls for it. I love socialising and being around people with great energy. I am very well travelled and love meeting new people, always up for a chat. I'm not really home much, between working long hours 6 days a week and catching up with my friends I don't get a lot of spare time. I'm very friendly, never moody, laid back, I like to live in a clean and tidy environment but am in no way obsessed. I'm not very regimented in my weekly routine, I love to enjoy a wine and chat combo or head out with friends for dinner almost any night of the week. Things that keep me sane are yoga and getting on my bike.
Hi there, I'm Elodie, 27yo, living in Melb since more than 2 years now. Just finish my degree (Business & Management) and working in hospitality. Love food and Arts (prob more food?). I like to go out for a drink but also like some quiet time to read, draw (as a lazy illustrator) or simply chill out. I'm use to live in community, I'm easy-going and more than happy to do my share of the cleaning! Willing to move in from July 15th (flexible)!
Been living in Auckland for the past year now coming back to Australia for university at RMIT; going into a BA of Photography. I'd say I'm a fairly chilled person. I also play the clarinet and have been for ten years, that'll be coming with me. I don't smoke or have any pets, just myself, clarinet and small collection of cameras. I am not the go out and party ever night kind, I'd rather say in or go out somewhere nice with a couple of friends. So I won't be throwing any huge parties. I am looking for a room in Melbourne with fantastic flatmates. Only visited Melbourne a few times so I don't know my way around but am ready for a new city and new people.
Hey roomies. I'm David, a 26 year old who works full time as a project manager at an amazing research centre in the city. Blew my house deposit on smashed avo toast so I'm still in the rent game and looking for a new home full of wonderful humans. - Fairly chipper sort of guy with a very positive outlook on life. - Love a beer or wine over a chat after a stressful day of work and will always be up for heading out on a Friday night. - Keen on the craft beer scene and also capable of making a somewhat decent homebrew. - Always keeping up to date with new Aussie music and love going to gigs where I can. - Progressive thinker and happy to have the odd intellectual or political chat, but also very grounded. - Partial to the occasional creative pursuit. - Footy and cricket fan. - Clean, tidy and hygienic by nature. - Will keep you supplied with a full bowl of fresh fruit in the kitchen. :) Looking to be part of a warm home of 3-5 people with a social atmosphere where everyone gets along as friends but can also respect each others needs for quiet and rest. Not into household drama and will always keep things diplomatic and sensible.
Salutations! My name is Tanielle Gordon, I am 20 years of age. I am a full-time student and growing artist studying Illustration in the Visual Arts department. I am actively looking to move to northern Melbourne suburbs with a budget of around $150-$160! I am a VERY polite, clean and tidy person. I will not leave a room without cleaning up after myself! Cleanliness is key. I like to keep to myself but of course always up for a cup of tea or coffee! I spend most of the week studying, when I'm not I like to dabble between skills and hobbies such as sketching, reading, writing.. or I'll just be out and about! Hey, you only live once! :) I am VERY respectful of others, their property and beliefs! I hope to find my future roommate/s that I can feel at home with. I would LOVE to hear from you! Thank you, Tanielle :)
Me and my boyfriend take pride in our cleansinese and will want to make wherever we go our home. We're both English and very easy going that are up for a laugh!
I'm a first year student studying Psych and Criminology at University of Melbourne. I'm into video games, anime and TV shows and if i'm not doing any of those, i'm probably studying or napping. I'm also really into art (drawing and painting) and I love animals! I'm super easy going, clean and I'm happy to hang out and have a chat or watch a movie every now and then. I can also speak Japanese (which is pretty cool imo). I also have a cert 3 in child care, and hoping to get a part-time position when I return. I'm currently living in a share house with 4 other people and I get along really well with my current housemates. I'm currently in Queensland visiting my family I'll be back on the 22nd July - I'm hoping to be able to move in when I get back. I'm not fazed on whether or not a place is furnished, and I'd prefer to stay around 5/6 months, as I'm most likely going to be heading back to Queensland for Christmas holidays mid December. Any suburb within a 30 minute tram/train ride from Uni/CBD would be fine for me. My max budget is about $170 - $180 with bills included. I dont own any pets, however I'd like to move into a pet friendly household as I was hoping to get a bird or 2 in the near future, but of course that's not a necessity, aha. I may have my 2 bffs or my parents visit me for a holiday, so I'd prefer housemates that would be okay with that! Thank-you! :)
Hey I'm Robyn! I'm chilled out, easy going and always up for a laugh! I'm 28, currently on my working visa in Aus. I’ve been in Melbourne for 4 months and I work in ST Kilda. I’ve been in a flat share for the past 3 months and hostels prior to that so understand respecting other people privacy and being clean and tidy. I have to move out of my current apartment on 10th July and will only be in Melbourne for around 6 weeks (mid August) before I move up north to do my farm work. I’m looking for a room for 6 weeks. My friends would describe me as crazy, ditsy, sassy, caring and funny! I'm always up for fun and trying new things. About me: I love dancing and going to the gym! I love going out to eat and exploring new places! I do enjoy going out for casual drinks or partying, however it would seem although I occasionally party like a rockstar I can no longer recover like one, so just enjoy social drinks with friends! I enjoy living a healthy and active lifestyle going to dance classes and sometimes yoga. I also love discovering new music and going to gigs/live events. I get on with pretty much anyone in any situation and have a lot of banter which is mostly sarcastic. Oh also I'm obsessed with dogs...so if you happen to have one it’s a bonus for me and I will happily walk it!! If I sound someone you'd get along with and are looking for someone to take over a room for a short while please drop me a message. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi there, I'm a student from Melbourne University studying information systems. I am a great cook and love biking. I am an amateur DJ and a ballroom dancer. I'm looking for a good place for my last semester here, close to the city as I currently live in Preston. I am neat, quiet and vegetarian by choice.
I work full time as a sex worker. Monday-Friday 10am-6pm in a brothel. I do not work from home. Looking for private rent/sublet only. Furnished, or at least just a bed. I am quiet and do my own thing but also happy to share a meal every now and then. Looking to live with open minded people. Must be close to a tram stop or train station. No buses.

Hi Guys Looking for a place to call home. I am a 25yr old kiwi girl, recently moved over to Melbourne to get a tattoo apprenticeship, willing victims are welcomed ;-P. I'm fun, easy-going and tidy. I clean up after myself and super respectful of other peoples needs. I live a pretty clean lifestyle but will have a binge on a movie/game night. I am looking for like minded people who are willing to help me learn about the city. I am looking for a place to call home with cool flatmates to live in indifferently. If you have any questions don't hesitate to message Gala
Hi all, Looking for a sharehouse to call home long term. Finding people to hang out with at the end of a long day is the most important part of my search. I bring a lot of excellent qualities to the table such as being a bit OCD with cleanliness and providing NSFW dinner banter. I work full time in Advertising, so realistically if the house is rowdy past 10pm on week nights I'm probably not who you're looking for. But it'd be nice to hang out with the 'fam' at the end of a bad day - rather than having opposing schedules where we say hey on the occasion. I have a car, so on street or off street parking is essential. I'm not big into partying so you won't find me at clubs, but you can guarantee that I'll be at the football every weekend (don't be intimidated all-male households). Throw me a message if you think I'd be a good fit or just want to talk nonsense over gin and cheese. Em
Hi! I am Erica, 25 from Perth, with my partner Wail, 22 from Morocco. We are pretty new to Melbourne so are hoping to find a place where we can make some friends and feel at home. I work full-time in public health, and Wail works in hospitality as well as being an artist. He is very creative, plays guitar and loves working with his hands. Is super handy around the house. I mostly read and watch terrible movies. We love a good tv binge every now and then, and love to chat. Wail is an amazing cook if you ever want to share meals, we are both tidy and neat and I love to clean (honestly), but we both grew up in full houses and travelled a lot so we know how to live with others and go with the flow. We are very respectful of privacy, and especially sleep! Also we love animals so anything you have we will be super excited about. Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm an almost 26 year old girl from Sydney, have been living in Melbourne since February of 2016. Im outdoorsy and creative, I like to ride my bike, Im quite social but also happy staying in and working on some art stuff. Ive just completed a design course at RMIT and am working at IKEA (yes i can build your flatpacks :) ) Im friendly, open minded, I think I am a respectful housemate who pulls my weight and enjoys the company of others around the house. Currently living in a 5 bedder so used to sharehouse situations. Max i can afford is probably about $220 p/w. Looking for own room, don't have much furniture but would like to fit a double bed and large desk. I love pets but have none of my own, and am a non-smoker but OK with others doing it as long as not indoors. Any questions don't hesitate to contact me!
heeyy, I'm easy going, like joking around, going out and trying new weird places but also like to stay at home and completely ignore the world with some Netflix&Chill. I work and study heaps so i'll be quite a low key flat mate but definitely keen on having late night chats or grab some eats/drinks ;) but other than that i pay bills on time, reliable and clean so if ya interested let me know! xx
Hi I'm Lina and I'm looking to relocate to the inner suburbs. Not too picky as to where as long as it's within walking distance to trains/trams and grocery shops. Somewhere nice to walk nearby (eg. park, river, beach) would be a bonus! I am currently working regular hours in admin, but will be a studying full-time at RMIT starting in July and hoping to make that a priority. I tend to hibernate in my room with books/movies/video games in my free time and prefer to take my socialising outside so I make a quiet housemate. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy a good chat or hanging out together now and then! I'm fond of art (both seeing and making), music (I've learned the value of headphones early on, don't worry) and animals (none of my own but if you've got them - fantastic!). I like to cook, but only have the motivation for it 2-3 times a week so I won't hog the kitchen too often. I'm neat, respectful of other people's things and personal space, pro-equal-distribution-of-chores and I've never been late on rent in my 5+ years of shared living. My move-in date is negotiable if I find a room/housemates I really like, but I do have to give a 1-months notice at my current place and paying 2 rents at once would really test my budget. Please let me know if you think you have a place for me :)
