hi my name is Reuben. im from new Zealand but ive been living in Melbourne for year. i work full time as a chef in the city. i'm a very chilled house mate but i also like to have a few drinks and socialise.
I currently love where I live but my landlord is conducting planned renovations and I am absolutely devastated I have to move. I have a beautiful puppy who is my life and I'd be happy to pay a pet bond and do anything I can to find a beautiful new home for us both :) in clean, social, but work pretty hard during the week. Love a drink, seem to think I'm pretty hilarious and an amazing cook.
Hi there! My name is Stephanie and I'm in Melbourne as part of my PhD until December 21st. I'll be working at the university on weekdays and explore the city and surroundings on the weekends. In my free time I like to meet friends, exercise a little (running, swimming, maybe try surfing in Australia), I also like to learn new things (right now Portuguese) and to relax I wish I could say I read but usually it comes down to Netflix :D I've lived in shared flats in the Netherlands and Germany for years and mainly enjoyed the experience. As did my roommates :) I like to cook, I share my food and I clean after myself. Also I have respect for others' need for space and sleep. It would be great to live with people that want to hang out a little (cooking/eating/drinking together) but I am also fine if you wanna do your own thing as long as we manage to keep a nice atmosphere and decently tidy communal areas. I Would be happy to hear from you!
Hey I'm steph, I'm pretty chilled and a have a bubbly easy going personality, I love yoga swimming, dogs and writing. I've just moved to Melbourne from Perth and got a new job in a fintech start up! I'm looking for a settled house with chilled but tidy housemates. Always up for a good wine cheese and vinyl night or a BBQ.
I am easy going, tidy, sociable, considerate and like my own space to relax and recharge. I work full time and have my little best friend, Bertie Boussy with me. Bertie is a 10 year old jack russell who is a character and is friendly with other dogs and cats. Looking for a peaceful space preferably with a back yard.
Hi, relocated from Brisbane 4 weeks ago, currently living in Port Melbourne and working full time in the city Looking for a furnished room in a share house preferably with 1 person only, would prefer my own bathroom but not a necessity I am very easy to live with, laid back, respectful clean and quiet, I am ideally looking for someone similar and not a party house, I like home to be a peaceful place. 6 months as a minimum stay as I don’t want to be moving around too much, happy to stay longer if all goes well.
I'm will, 25, full time architectural grad, part time lost soul/cynic/charismatic drunk. I'm currently splitting my waking hours between a 9-6 office job during the week in Carlton and a shared art studio on the weekend in Fitzroy. But alas, my sleeping den is currently far far south east in Clayton. There can't be a detriment larger to my withering soul, beauty sleep and commitment to my witch circles (friends, I mean friends, all of which live north side) I would much rather move further north like Iceland but the northern perimeter of Melbourne will do for now. I would be able to do the paper work and move asap as I'm not bound to my current place. Other than such, I'm reliable on the financial side, messes gives me anxiety, I don't really watch tv, but I love music espesh the likes of Bjork/Grace Jones and cooking helps distracts me from the horror of the real world. If this sounds like someone who you'd like to live with hit me a message back or any further question. ✨✨
Hi, I'm Kon, a Bassist who is very sociable, easygoing, vibrant, respectful and has a good sense of humour. Originally I'm Thai but grew up in New Zealand. I lived in Sydney for about five years, worked full time as well as studied and travelled around. I've been in Melbourne for a year, studying part time and working full time in a hotel on Chapel St. I'm gonna live in Melbourne for at least three years to continue my music career. I'm in love with Reggae and Funk music (actually all genres but these genres are on top), I also love Art, animals, psychology, philosophy, being with people and drinking. Cheers
Canadian here on a working holiday visa but switching over to a student visa for the next two years to finish my degree in marketing at rmit. I'm working at a rad little cafe/ wine bar in the city. I'm from Vancouver and while I was there I was working in music so I love going to a gig and checking out some talent. Have been in share houses for years and value being able to have a social and respectable living environment with housemates you get on great with.
Hi future housemates! My boyfriend Ben and I are currently in the states for a wedding and our lease ended just before we left. So we have our things in storage while we search for a place to come home too. Ben will be working a bit out of the city M-F 7-5 and I work M-F 7-4 in the suburbs. I do landscape gardening and Ben is in mechanical engineering. We both love a drink now and again and Ben is a great cook! I am better at the cleanup! We have lived in sharhouses for many years, and we have both travelled a bit and know how to respect others and their spaces! If anyone if looking for a team up, we have some things to fill a house.. kitchen table, fridge, and lots of plants! Otherwise we are happy to just fill a room in a share house! We would love an outdoor space as I am a bit of a plant collector! As far as freetime goes, we really like wine and gin, Ben likes to dances and I like to try. haha! We sometimes go for trivia night of just for a wander in the city! Also, we are happy to chip in on some netflix and watch a movie or series every now and again! Please contact us on here for the next couple days! We only arrive back in Oz on the 8th of october! If it matters, I go for the Saints and Ben goes for CArlton... also Ben has a 5 years of rental histroy under his name! We look forward to hearing back from you all! Cheers, Ben and Reese
Hey I'm Chase. I'm 19 yo, a very laid-back guy who enjoys video games, netflix and music after a long day. I'm currently studying aviation at the moment and I've been living in Aus for about 1.5 year from now. I'd consider myself an introvert but I'm still very interested in making friends even though I'm a considerate and quiet person.
Born and raised in Melbourne. I work in hospitality full time as well as a project manager for a start-up agricultural business. I love cooking and I'm always creating crazy concoctions and love cooking for others. I'm really clean, mainly because I don't create a mess in the first place. I repeat, clean... not sterile. I do have a washing machine (can sell if not required), HEAPS of cooking equipment, small couch (can sell if not required) and a lot of plants!
A little about me... I'm a friendly and respectful 31 year old American from Southern California (not a trump supporter, so fear not). I’ve recently returned to Melbourne after going back home for a couple months so looking for a transitional place while I find the right permanent home. At home I was a freelance photographer/event producer and taught ESL so would love to be around fellow creative people. I am currently looking for work in hospo and photography, or really anywhere I can, but have enough savings to last me for the next several months just in case I don’t find something right away. I always pay my bills on time and happy to do my fair share of the housekeeping. I’m a fairly quite person, but keen to hang out and have a beer or meal, or give space when needed.
My name is Esther and I’m a 26 year-old PhD student, currently studying at Durham University in the UK. I’m visiting Melbourne University for 3 months as part of my PhD (beginning of October – end of December) and am looking for somewhere to rent. I will be at the Parkville campus, so am looking for a place within walking distance of this area. I’m chilled-out, but tidy and someone who does their chores! I’m a person that likes to be outside and exploring the city. I love being active, listening to live music, reading and love a good chat! I’m looking to make friends while I’m in Melbourne, so looking for a house/flat with other people :)
I'm a 24 year old admitted lawyer who is currently working at the Fair Work Commission (please don't hold either of those things against me!). I'm looking for a place with one or two friendly people who I can hang out with but who also have their own things going on. I'm very friendly and usually up for a chat most nights. I enjoy being social and having people around, although on weeknights I prefer to keep it a bit more chill. I have recently received a beautiful vegetarian cookbook which I'm super keen to try out (although still very partial to a good steak). I love animals so am more than happy to live with any pets. I would prefer to live with flat mates who are similarly working full time. If all of this sounds good feel free to shoot me a message, I'd love to be a part of making a share house a home!
I work 4 days/wk as HR Business Partner & Educator with a not-for-profit, and recommenced study of my 4th year Psychology in late August with Monash online. I'm very tidy and clean. I am independent and respectful of individual and shared spaces. I grew up with 3 siblings and a dog, and have lived with partners and in share houses over the past 6 years, very happily. My interests are nature, food and cooking, reading and music, red wine/beer and cheese, going on walks, the beach or the bush, getting away with friends, family time (dinners sometimes twice a week), animals especially cute or interesting ones, and trying new things! I currently live in the heart of the CBD and work is located in Richmond. I'm after something mid to long term.
Hey I'm an international student 23yo studying at Monash. Would like to find some friendly flatmates to share a place and hang out with. I'm really chill, friendly and i'll respect your privacy and (ocacionally) tidy. I'm not really into partying but hey who knows. However i would only be in Australia from the 7th of October onwards HMU if youre interested in sharing a flat w me :) Cheers
I have been living in Auckland for the past year; now coming back to Australia for university at RMIT and will be going into a BA of Photography. I'd say I'm a fairly chilled person. I also play the clarinet and have been for ten years, that'll be coming with me. I don't smoke or have any pets, just myself, clarinet and small collection of cameras. I am not the go out and party ever night kind, I'd rather say in or go out somewhere nice with a couple of friends. So I won't be throwing any huge parties. I am looking for a room in Melbourne with fantastic flatmates. Only visited Melbourne a few times so I don't know my way around but am ready for a new city and new people.
Hi! We are JACOB and DAISY and from South Korean. We're working holiday visa holders and have been here for 5 months so far. And now we're planning to move to Melbourne on October 16 to start our new journey in Melbourne! We are a very clean and tidy couple. We always clean the kitchen right after use as we keep everything clean. We are friendly and down to early. We also respect personal boundaries and space when it comes to shared house. We've never made any rent overdue ever so that wouldn't be a problem at all. I'm not comfortable to speak on the phone in English so please text me or message me here instead of phone call.
Hi there! My name is Adi (or Adriarne but no one really calls me that!!). I'm 30 years old, single & working professional. Looking to move in to a new home asap! ABOUT ME: I currently work Mon - Fri in an office job. In my spare time I love yoga, travelling, good food, relaxing, beach time, meditation, reading books, being creative & meeting inspiring and like-minded people. I'm pretty low-key during the week and don't mind a cheeky drink over the weekend, but not the party type! My background has been in design and merchandising; and after returning from a 9 month trip, decided for a change in career. I am now working in the natural health industry and working towards the possibility of studying natural medicine mid-next year. I am an animal lover, loves books, music, is a tea-drinker, keeping fit & a non-smoker. I am clean, organised & respect your space but wouldn't mind to chat as well! So if you fit in to any of my passions and loves above, please contact me.
