Hi Brian and I have just moved to Melbourne and a looking for a 1 or 2 bed house/ flat. Preferably on the inner North side but we both have bikes so we're flexible. We're both working full time, very clean and respectful and will do everything we can to look after your property.
Hi, I’m Fiona. I am moving to Melbourne to work at Monash University as a Post Doc, so I will be working full time. I am a geologist so obviously I like outdoorsy things. I am generally pretty active, and have a lot of friends in Melbourne. I am really friendly and pretty keen for a chat and a laugh, I am also clean and respectful of others' spaces. I have lived in my fair share of house shares so I think I have the balance nailed. Please note: dog pictured is not included (unfortunately).
Hiya! I'm on the lookout for a long term room for rent in the inner northern suburbs, anywhere around Fitzroy, Carlton, Abbotsford, Collingwood etc. Just wondering if anyone has anything available at the moment? I'm looking to move between now and early Feb, my price range is anything between $600-$800 pcm (including or excluding bills). Now just the usual little bit about me; I'm super easy going, clean and tidy, easy to get along with and like to hang out. I also really enjoy just a good laugh! I'm not fussy and just want a fun place to live. I have a steady job and this year I'll be studying Biomedicine at Latrobe University. I know I'm a young chicken, although you wouldn't pick it at all. I have experience in share houses, I'm very respectable and low key. Definitely not your usual early 20's party person. I can provide references, payslips, etc. Shoot through a message if you have any questions or think you may have a room. Look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks! Lola
Hi, I’m moving to Melbourne for work and looking for a place to live…! I’m looking for a flat or house share in Richmond, Fitzroy or other suburbs nearby. I’ll be working full-time and hoping to live in a relatively quiet flat. I enjoy going to gigs, the cinema and attempting to skateboard and make songs.
I’m a german with humor and very social. Also very handy with repairs I’d there is any. I like to have a accasual beer or many more if necessary. Other then that, I’m studying a masters degree at Victoria university, my background is accounting finance. I like to stay for 6-12 month at a place.
I'm an incredibly social person who loves to chat/drink/eat and binge netflix however I also enjoy my own time and space as well as respecting others. I come from a fulltime dance background so being clean and having everything tidy and presentable is second nature to me! I'm currently from Sydney about to move down to Melbourne to study at Melbourne Uni and looking for some housemates in a similar situation (student/working part time) I absolutely love dogs so pets also arent an issue! I love going out for a dance on the weekends but also going for walks and long brunches too!
I am extremely flexible and lenient. I'm very organized and clean with my belongings. I've lived with messy roommates in the past so I'm accustomed to pretty much everything. I'm a big fan of splitting up chores around the house/suite/apartment and organizing it so everyone does an equal share. I'm an American studying abroad during the upcoming Fall semester at Uni Melb and all I wanna do is explore and adventure. I enjoy hanging around, chatting to friends, walking around town and discovering new things. I enjoy visiting local attractions the most as I find they hold the most character, good vibes, and lead to the most fun. Seeing as I'm studying abroad, I fully plan on taking every opportunity to explore, which includes traveling all over the place. I'm a really easygoing guy and super easy to impress and please so recommendations of places to visit would be awesome. In my spare time I like to do pixel art, game dev, and just generally chill with people. P.S. Cheers for reading this far, haha. As a general aside, my family lives in England, but being an American I've never drank before, so at some point I'd like to go visit a bar/go party. I've had tons of friends that party and drink but I've just never been interested. I think it's time I give this shit a try, haha. So if you wanna drag me out and go bar hopping I'm all for it. TL;DR : I'm an easygoing guy, who's studying abroad from the US and wants to explore. I'm organized, clean, and easy to room with.
I’m a relaxed person who keep a busy schedule studying civil engineering online full-time whilst also working as an engineer on the NBN network. I love travelling and am currently in South America until late Feb. I enjoy hanging out with people and going out when I can but also like having my own space after a long day. If there is anything you want to know feel free to ask.
I'm moving back to Melbourne after one year away. Originally from NZ I have lived in Melbourne before and miss the lifestyle so much I am coming back. Full time employed teacher, interested in a friendly, quiet but social place to call home. I am out and about in the weekends and the school holidays but generally chill at home on weeknights after going to the gym. I’m looking for a clean, relaxed place to call home.
Hey, I'm a few days old in Melbourne planning to study a Masters in Fashion at RMIT, and i'm looking for a wonderful place i could call home. I am 23 years old and originally from Kenya. I am fun, respectable, down to earth and clean so you wouldn't have to worry about me tidying up. I am also trustworthy, calm and open. I am looking for a place i could stay for approximately 6 months, preferably furnished and en suite. I am looking for housemates that i cannot only stay with but those i could call family. Looking forward to hearing from you soon and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

I’m Yvette and I’m 27. I’ve just moved from Brisbane to Melbourne for work. I’m working in the funeral industry and my schedule will be 12 hr shifts, 7 days on, 7 days off. Night shift every 10 weeks and I’ll likely be flying home to Brisbane every 2-3 months on my week off as well. On my weeks off I’ll likely be keeping myself busy, running errands, exploring, socialising, going to shows, etc. I’m pretty quiet; I like to keep busy so I’m not around a lot, and when I am, I like to use my time at home to unwind and relax. I like keeping things clean and tidy. However I don’t believe in rosters for chores. We’re all adults and if something is noticeably dirty, you should just clean it because you care about your home. I’m pretty deligent when it come to managing my finances so paying rent/bills on time is never an issue. I also have a cat, her name is Vengeance. She is such a sweet girl. She’s gorgeous and very needy. Despite her name, she’s extremely friendly and she’s a very chill cat. I would prefer she be the only cat in the household, but I would be open to her meeting other cats first and see how they get along. Ultimately, she’s my best pal and I want her to be happy and comfortable in our new home. I’m ideally looking to share with one other person in a place that has 3 bedrooms. I feel as though having a third bedroom as a storage room/guest room/study/whatever will make the place seem less cramped. It’s not completely necessary though. My main requirement is that the place I’ll be living in must have a bath. Extremely important. I was living alone in Brisbane so I have a lot of furniture/appliances to contribute to the place. I have a fridge, washing machine, dryer, portable air con, heater, vacuum cleaner, iron etc, sewing machine/overlocker, lounge suite, coffee table, bookshelves, a telephone chair? (Idk why. Impulse antique purchase but it’s pretty), a cabinet, probably too many clothing racks, standard kitchen stuff (toaster, kettle, blender, juicer, food processor, microwave, plus cookware, glassware, crockery, utensils, etc). I can store/sell/donate things that aren’t needed.
Hey there! Im a really friendly and outgoing individual who will get along with absolutely anybody. I work around 4-5 days a week in hospitality, like to socialise over a few drinks, like things tidy, getting things done that need to be, and am really laid back. I love anything creative and am always sharing ideas and laughing about life! I am looking to move from Sydney to Melbourne very shortly with like minded individuals. Currently I am taking a break from my official studies in marketing and design to pursue an interest in music production and am hoping to advance this year in it and see where it takes me!
Hello! New in the city, new in Australia. My name is Pello, I´m moving there from Spain. I´m architect and graphic designer. Preferably I want a room for March. I also like going out, sport, cultural events, music... I like my home tidy and clean and I´m very respectful with other flatmates. I would like to share flat with someone similar, friendly and respectful.

I'm a really easy-going person from England who has just moved to Melbourne to start working. I'm looking for a place to stay for the next 4-6 months. I love meeting new people and always keen for a social event. I like to keep things tidy around the house and respect peoples privacy. Heya! How you going? I'm Sara, 28yo Italian language teacher. I work in 2 schools for adults in Abbotsford. I am very easy going, friendly, very well travelled, clean, respectful, love music, wine, the beach, the snow, arts and adventures and making tiramisu ;). Love to be out in the sun and make the most of my time here. I come from Cinque Terre, a pretty place in North-West Italy by the sea....I lived in the Uk, Germany and Australia in the past 6 years. This time, I fell in love with Melbourne and I'd like to stay at least one more year. I have aussie and international friends here in Melbourne since this would be my third year being based here. I am looking for a non-crazy expensive place to share with nice people who will become my friends and have a laugh when we are all at home together, but also give each other personal space of course! Cheeers, please message me for any question!
I am a chilled out and an easy going individual who enjoys a conversation, movies, series on a regular basis and would be great if we could watch it together. I am a big foodie who enjoys cooking daily and am a veggo so it would be a bonus to live or team up with someone similar, if not that's cool as well. I equally respect peoples privacy and space as there are days where you just want to be kept alone. Would prefer to live in an all-female place, but not necessary. Cleanliness is fairly important so we could work out something there. I don't smoke and hardly drink, but we could have a glass once in a while. Would be great if I found someone similar. As I will be in my final semester of studying, I want a quiet and peaceful place and not a party house. I enjoy baking, so you could expect baked goodies once in a while. If you think we can team-up, hit me up! Or else, good luck with your house hunting! Cheers
