I am easygoing and considerate, and also hardworking. I enjoy watching TV shows and generally relaxing in my spare time. I also enjoy getting coffees and brunch on the weekend. I think I would be pretty easy to live with and get along with!
Hi mates! We're two Spanish girls in the 20s. We have just arrived to Melbourne from Gold Coast and we need a place to stay short term!! We'd like to live with people in our age group. We're easy and outgoing people and we love to meet new people from different countries. We're really respectful and clean. If you have any room available for us, just text me!! Best regards, Laura & Ana
We’re a Swedish couple, taking a break from the Swedish cold for a couple of months! We’re very easy going and want to get to know Melbourne everyday life and culture. Frida, 25, has a working holiday visa and will be working in retail or restaurant. She’s also applying for architecture school in Stockholm and will be working on the admission test in Melbourne. Benjamin, 32, has taken time off from work as graphic designer and project manager in the tech business, to focus on personal startups and to get a nice break from ten years in employment. He will attend tech meet ups, work on personal projects, and do touristy things during the stay.
Hej, I am Sandra coming from Austria. I will be joining an exchange program at Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. I am searching for a nice place to stay for at least 6 months. Whenever I have time I like to cook some lovely meals, do yoga, go swimming or make music. I prefer it clean and tidy that´s the reason why I will always clean up after myself. I am very open-minded and friendly, I like to laugh and enjoy nature in my spare time. I do not mind going out for a drink, go to concerts or try some new food but I also like to stay at home someday and spend time on my own. I will respect the privacy of other flatmates but also enjoy socializing and learning about new cultures. I prefer to have an own room in a flat, please funrnished as I cannot bring my furniture from Austria. I would be very happy to hearing from you! SANDRA
Hey there, I'm Andrew, a young Canadian male who's moving to Melbourne for March 1st on a working holiday visa and am looking for a house share in a fun and vibrant part of the city. Having had the chance to browse this site for a few days now it's been made clear that this is a popular site with lots of eager roommates and vacant rooms. With so many people to sift through I figure I'd keep my write up short and sweet and just provide the Coles notes on who I am and what I'm about. Me: - Single - No pets - Never smoked - Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a background in sports commentary - Sporty and active the gym is my second home - Currently working in Television and Film Post Production - Neat and tidy almost too much so - Early riser and early to bed Anything else you wish to know don't hesitate to ask :) Kind regards Andrew
Hi! I will be moving up from Tasmania to Melbourne to study Animation at RMIT. I'm 21 and have been living in various share houses for around 4 years. I am a tea drinker, I obsessively collect succulents (because I can't kill them) and in my spare time you will find me reading, binging netflix, walking off a food coma, or creating something. I enjoy swimming and being a little sarcastic. I am super clean, apart from a couple of clothing piles, and looking to create a new home. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hello! I'm looking for somewhere new to call home. I have lived in sharehouses previously - I promise I clean up after myself and am not too noisy (though I am chatty). When I'm home I am partial to glass of wine or a gin, occasionally (attempt to) bake and have recently taken to (attempting) hand embroidery. I love weather-disaster movies. I'm looking for housemates who like a good chat and a laugh in a place that's home rather than just a house. I work fulltime in marketing and am usually pretty busy outside of work too. I don't have furniture or white goods at the moment but am happy to make some purchases where needed. I don't smoke. Don't have pets. Love dogs. Avoid cats (allergic).
I am an ED nurse by profession, so live a life controled by shift work. Enjoy going to cafes, movies, keep fit at the gym, passionate about travelling and meeting new people. I enjoy the company of others but equally happy on my own. Easy to get along with and grounded. Have a positive outlook and enjoy life. I’m very respectful of other people and believe that you should treat others the way you wish to be treated yourself. A flatmate/s who likes to hang out and watch a movie and share a glass of wine but someone who is not in your face. Looking for a place to call Home for Upto 6months before I head off to the UK.
Im a 26 y.o high school maths teacher (currently on school holidays woo hoo). I’m friendly and tidy and I’ve lived in sharehouses in melb for the past 5years. I like to see friends, have drinks, go out for meals, do activities etc.
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies and so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. ;) If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
Hi, I'm Francesca, 22 and from Italy. I just graduated in industrial design and I'm looking for a new work experience in Melbourne! I would consider myself to be caring, sociable and respectful to other housemates. I enjoy listening music, going to gigs, watching films and doing trekking tours. I'm tidy and very clean and I absolutely need my own space. I will work most of the time but I would like making friends and sharing the free time. I sing and play guitar and why not, I would like to share my music with other musicians! "Home" for me is a place where I can relax myself and also enjoy, I would like to share this place with people that contribute cleaning and do other homeworks. Please message if you’re interested! Francesca
Hi y’all! I’m looking for a privit room. New to Melbourne, but I have lived in the Uk, Ireland, Germany for the last 4 years. So I have lived with people from various nationalities that means I’m fully understanding living with mates for sure :) Just exploring and traveling at the moment but my real Melbourne new life will have to start from next week. That’s why I’m looking for a room. I can describe myself tidy, neat, easygoing and open minded person. Can enjoy have a chat with anyone, quite like to have some dinner and drink or two with flatmates. But I’m also very respectful person. Came here for a year with working holiday visa. I can move in straight away as soon as you allowed me to move in. Please just feel free to message me. I’ll have enough time to have an inspection this week. Thanks.
hey people, I am starting my Masters at UniMelb this February and am looking at either joining an existing sharehouse or starting a new one. If you're keen to start a new place, let me know! I'm originally from Perth, into various hobbies that change all the time, easy going and a pretty decent cook. hit me up if you're interested
I'll be moving to Melbourne first week of February to study Masters at RMIT Brunswick. I'm originally from Manila, Philippines but I've lived in London, France, and San Francisco. I spent a couple of months per year in Australia (particularly Brisbane) in the past 2 years. I've also travelled to different countries in between. I love travelling, exploring new places, going on an adventure, being outdoors, art, photography, local cafes and bars, working out, going to festivals, and good food and drinks (wine and gin are my go to). I'm easy going and likes to have a good laugh. I'm also very social but enjoy my own space and respect others'. I consider myself as clean and hygienic, and reliable when it comes to due payments.
Studying double major in Environments at MelbUni, I tend to spend long hours at library. So when I am home, I like to cook or read a bit. Not a party fan nowadays due to my schedule. Also work part time as barista in a coffee shop. Plus I love making people laugh so I am willing to have a healthy social communication with my roommates. Also I like to have a clean house, so I am up to help in household duties.
I returned to Melbourne a few months ago after living overseas for many years. I’m loving being back and reconnecting with old friends and all the good things Melbourne has to offer. My work is music-related; I’m a sound engineer and concert manager. I’ve picked up some great work since returning, and this year is looking good - my diary is certainly filling up. Accommodation-wise I’ve been doing a mix of house sitting and staying with friends for the last few months. I’m now looking for somewhere for the short term, possibly longer - it's all open to discussion - and preferably furnished. I know what it takes to share a home in terms of good communication and keeping things hassle-free, and I'd like to live somewhere where things are kept generally clean and tidy (as an ex-home helper I'm a dab hand with a dustpan and brush) and the place ticks along nicely. I'm probably more suited to living with over-30s. I can be quiet at times but am by no means antisocial. I enjoy reading, music, science and nature and derive ridiculous amounts of pleasure from cryptic crosswords. Don't let that put you off, though! I like to have a natter and a laugh and share occasional meals when the opportunity arises, whilst also respecting people's need for a bit of quiet time and personal space. I do yoga, walk a lot and am generally active, enjoy cooking and eat pretty well. I’m a non-smoker and not much of a drinker, but certainly don't mind if you're partial to a tipple. Do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.
New in the city, new in Australia. My name is Pello, I´m moving there from Spain. I´m architect and graphic designer. Open minded, love making new friends and meeting people from all the world, travelling and learning something new every day. I also like going out, sport, cultural events, music... Hello, I'm Amr originally Egyptian and have been living in Australia for about 5 years now. I am moving to Melbourne from Brisbane for a new position in renewable energy working for an Australian engineering firm. I'm pretty chilled and friendly but I really appreciate privacy and space, I'm cosmopolitan and have many interests among which are music, outdoor adventures. I'm looking to be fully relocated in Melbourne by mid-February close to my firm's Docklands office within cycling distance as I like to commute with my road bike. I have furniture and appliances that can be relocated to conveniently fill an empty apartment or my future room, however, i don't mind downsizing as necessary. I'm open to team up with a likeminded person to get a nice apartment close to the city and happy to share my furniture for common use. I also have a car so enclosed/off-street park will be necessary. I'm currently in Egypt for a vacation with my family and will return 1st or 2n of Feb to Melbourne first to look for a place, If you happen to be interested to team up or have a place to share that i can call home, hit me up for a chat :) Cheers!

Hey guys ! We are Kamil & Dalia, both 21 years old, from Paris. We've been together for two years now and have been living together for a while. We are undertaking a short but intense chapter of our lives, abroad, in Melbourne. And we're very excited about that ! Kamil : I will be a post-graduate exchange student at Monash Business School from Paris-Dauphine University, studying Financial Markets. Dalia : I have a working holiday visa so I will look for a full or part-time job. We are excited about having flat mates because one of our main goals is to meet new people, make good friends and travel as much as possible. We love adventures and discovering new places. In our free time, we like going to the beach, to the gym, to restaurants (as we are foodies), and also go out for drinks. We are very sociable and fun couple and we love spending time with people. We are also very easy to leave with and we respect personal space. Other little extra thing: Dalia cooks the best meals! We are actually undertaking active researches to find a room in a flatshare or houseshare but did not find something that really suits us as we are looking to live with international people and approximately our age. We are looking for a nice, beautiful and cozy place near CBD (South Yarra, Southbank, South Yarra..) in a nice building/house with some facilities. Our budget is approx. 400-500 pw. We will arrive in Melbourne on Monday 22 January. If you guys are interested, send us as message! Best regards, Kamil & Dalia
