Hi! I arrived in Melbourne three weeks ago and I really like the vibe in this city! I came to australia on a working holiday visa and since I want to have that long eastcoacty holiday I have to work a couple of months to make that true. I work in Melbourne as a barista, because I really love coffee and I also did this job during my study. Anyways, let me introduce myself: my name is Laura and I am from The Netherlands, Utrecht. I am 23 years old and just graduated in eductional science and to become a primary school teacher. I am an easygoing person to hang out with and I like doing sports (hockey and surfing are my favorites) and I also like to hang out with people and wander around the city. I am really tidy and I clean up after myself so no worries about that! I want to stay in Melbs for 3 months and I can move in the house in early March.
Hi, my name is Lachie, I'm 19, and I'm studying a bachelor of Design Arts, majoring in Fashion and Costume Design. I'm currently unemployed, but I'm constantly searching for a job so I can support myself more than I normally do. I'm a tad awkward at the start but once I warm up I'm rather fun and upbeat. I have a great sense of priorities, and I'm always willing to lend a hand, and to better myself. I take direction and critique well, and I'm happy and open to most people.
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a recent graduate and work full time in HR. I'm looking to live somewhere close to the city for an easy commute to work. I'm an outgoing person who loves a laugh and some quality chats. I would ideally like to live in a social household that are down for watching terrible TV shows and sharing a meal/having a drink together. My inner introvert does cause me to need a bit of chill time to myself though! Overall I'm easy going and friendly. I'd prefer to live in a mixed-gender household and do have a pet cockatiel who I would love to bring with me (if at all possible). He's a small bird, so not too noisy and he would be housed in my room. I would be happy to live with people with a doggo, however cats are out of the question because that's a tad risky with the bird. Despite the bird I'm pretty normal, aside from my slightly weird sense of humour. So feel free to contact me if you think I sound like a somewhat decent potential housemate. I'm open to existing share houses or starting a new one :)
Hi I'm Kiaya, I'm 22 years old, and work part time at spotlight, and have my own textiles label on the side when i create my own products to sell at markets and online. I have lived in share houses since I was 18, so i know the boundaries of living with other people. I believe in respecting the house through cleaning up after yourself, and paying rent/bills on time. I love having a cold bev at the end of the day or watching a film / addictive TV show. I am creative, but not messy, busy and not a home body, and love a good chat. Contact me if you're interested!
Looking for a new place to study and chill. I've been a bartender for a long time, so feel free to hit me up if you need some cocktail advice! Currently studying a bachelors degree in Games Development. I enjoy bouldering and ice skating(used to play hockey. Gotta keep those skills sharp!). Favourite current video game is FFXV... I seriously love it. I want a place that is close to public transport and cosy enough for the long nights that I intend to spend on studying.
Hi guys I work full time in IT and recently moved to Melbourne from Perth. I'm easygoing, very quite, respectful, clean, sociable and well versed in share house living. I can offer several references from past housemates I previously lived with in Perth. I have a car so I am looking for some kind of parking.

I'm a good cooker and not a party girl but i like to enjoy great time talking. tks mariana assumpcao
Hey, my name's Vick and I'm a unimelb student studying food science. About to be going into my 3rd year and looking for somewhere to call home! I'm half Indonesian half Australian and have lived all over the country and overseas. I love to cook and am very easy going. I strongly believe that sharing is caring so if I'm making brownies you bet I'm making some for everyone. I love talking to people and finding out more about the world, and hanging out watching a good tv show.
Hi my name is Hector, and I work in media. I'm a pretty fun-loving, social and caring person who is always up for a good laugh. I'm respectful of others and know what it's like to live with other people. I'm pretty quiet most of the week but also love to have a casual drink with good company. I bring plenty of good banter to any conversation and would be a great addition to any squad!
Hello! I am 19 years old and looking to move out of home, i'm tidy and pretty quiet but I play guitar, I like art and anything creative, originally from WA now living permanently in Victoria, I love to cook and play music and am always up for pretty much anything, i'm easy going and think it's just important to be happy.
I'm very clean and easy to get along with. I work for Vic Gov in the CBD Mon-Fri 8-4. I recently came out of a long term relationship and am looking to share a space with someone who is also generally clean, easy going and has a good sense of humor. I have been in Melbourne for 4.5 years, moved from Brisbane to enjoy this beautiful city. I don't party much but I do enjoy the odd drink every now and then. Love going for bike rides and trying to keep healthy.

I'm 19 years old, I'm in university and I work part time as pruner and casual in a talent agency. I'm great to live with due to one reason, I'm relaxed. As a person I'm often described as untroubled, calm and collected. For me, life's not about having constant stimulation, it's about enjoying the moment and the opportunities that present themselves. Unwinding at the end of the day has never been a problem, and even in challenging situations, I remain relaxed. My friendly relaxed demeanor makes me Amiable I have a 'can do' attitude that allows me to march to the beat of my own drum without worrying what others think and because of this easy-going attitude I'm quite extroverted both at school/work and in my personal life.
I'm from the UK and have been travelling in Australia on a working holiday visa since January. I'm now looking to work in Melbourne for at least 3-4 months. My field of work is in education administration and I am looking to get an administration job in Melbourne. My main interests are sport, in particular tennis, and going to see live music. I'd describe myself as a very tidy and laid back person and I'm looking to find a nice private room somewhere fairly central in Melbourne.
Moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for work. Initially looking for somewhere short-term while I organise myself then looking for somewhere longer term if all goes well. I've lived overseas for 2 years but haven't lived out of home in Australia - looking forward to it! More of a cider drinker than a beer drinker. High School Science Teacher.
Hey! I'm currently looking into moving to Melbourne by the end of next week (11th March move-in date). A bit about me, my name is Besiat, 29yo from Sydney. I've been working as a Registered Nurse for the last five years, and recently I finished my masters in public health and was offered a position at Peter Mac. Very excited for what's ahead. I'm easy going, like to keep the space clean. I like music, good conversations and just an easy going atmosphere. I'm considerate of others and expect that people are the same way towards me. I believe in open communication and honesty. I'm looking for a place in area's I listed. I will be in Melbourne from 1st of March to 4th of March to look for places, so if you happen to have place free available in that time, I will like to see it. Inbox me! :) xx
Hi! I'm Isabella and I'm 19 years old :) I currently study Journalism at RMIT and work part time at Woolworths. I am very independant and could keep out of your way if preferred. I am very neat and tidy, have medium cooking skills and would be a very clean and peaceful roommate. Yay :) So hmu if you want to team up or have a room, I'm in student accommodation right now want to move out before mid year
Hello! We're both British (English) and are over in Australia for a good few months on a 12 month working holiday visa. We only really speak English however we understand some french, german and Spanish. Back home we both had full time jobs, working in marketing and grounds maintenance. So coming here to the heat and the sun is GOOD! We're both currently living in Surfers paradise on the Gold Coast. We just want to suck up and live the Aus lifestyle for a few months whilst earning some money for our keep and also more importantly to have some fun. We both love music/live music/anything artsy and just socializing with people! We're definitely laid back friendly people that are easy to live with, but also tidy and respectful towards others! We're now ready to see what Melbourne has to offer!
I'm a french boy with 2 of my friend, We all have a job and we want to live in the city or near the city. We like sport, music, meet new people, share experience and party of course. easy going, clean, funny
I keep to myself (though I am social), pay my bills on time and have worked full time in the same company for almost 10 years now. My dog is a desexed male and quite possibly one of the coolest little animals you'll ever meet.
After trying to become Muay Thai fighters // totally ripped bodybuilders in Thailand (to not much success, food over there is too good and too cheap), we are coming to Melbourne around March 20th. Nana worked as a civil engineer in Brisbane for the last couple of years and Pia is in Human Resources and likes to occasionally bribe people with delicious German treats. We're both 25 years old and have lived in a lot of share houses over the years. Ideally, we're looking to live with other young professionals who appreciate coming home to a clean house. Although we are past our party days, we like to socialise and watch live music. We are flexible with dates, as we are looking for the right place to call home.
Hi everyone! my name is Paulina, I'm from Chile. I consider myself easy going, extroverted and cheerful person. I like to cook, beer and wine, animals make me very happy, I am vegetarian but I respect all kinds of diets. Normally I'm calm and I like to have conversations with my flatmates.. especially know them and feel comfortable with them also. I like art and music and anyone who shares any of my interest with me is welcome to my space! I consider myself warm and friendly, I hope we get along well.
Hey guys, I'm a 23 year old kiwi who's permanently relocating to Melbourne after two years in London. I'm arriving on the 6th of march and will be starting my new job (full time) that week, so would love to find a place in the next couple of weeks or so. I'm a big sports nut, and will never say no to a few beersies and activities on the weekend, so i'm on the hunt for a social household and a good bunch of people to live with. Preferred areas would be st kilda, CBD, south yarra, windsor e.t.c. but i'm really open to anything south of Brunswick /Clifton hill. Ideal budget around 200 per week for private room, but happy to pay up to 250 including bills. Open to teaming up to find a place with others as well. Cheers!
Hey Flatmate-ers! My name is Diana, 22 years young and looking for a new home! I have just returned from a two month holiday in Asia and am looking for a new place to call home! Unfortuantely, I did not complete enough credit points to graduate last year, so I'm still at uni finishing off one subject for this semester :(. BUT after that I will be a qualified primary teacher. I am currently a casual as after school care worker for a company called Extend. I plan to obtain a full time job as either a receptionist or back into retail over the next couple of weeks! I have been out of home for about four to almost five years now so I understand what it is like to live with other people! By that I mean, I get what its like to live with 11 other people in a shared place to just one other person. I am clean and a very easy going person. I am always down for a chat so ideally I would like to be friends with my housemate/s rather than another person renting the room. A little about my hobbies and interests: I love to keep fit, so occasionally will go for walks, the gym (really I'm only there for boxing classes), going out and hanging out with my girls and enjoy occasional shopping sprees. I don't mind having a bev or two although I am the weakest drinker in the world. If you would like to find out more about me, I would love to hear from my future housies soon!
Hey there! I am moving to Melbourne in March and am looking for a place to stay. I am a mechanical engineer, Indian by passport but grew up between India, England and Malaysia. When I am not working I am generally reading a book, watching a movie, or working on my music. Huge F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan. I cook decent pasta and Indian food but only when I am in the mood for it. Vegetarian by choice, And I tend to keep my room, kitchen (if i do cook) and bathrooms clean.
I'm a student at the University of Melbourne - currently in the second year of my science degree. Easy going and independent. I'd say that I like a good balance of going out and being social with friends vs. staying at home and watching Netflix. :)
I'm from Scotland. I'm working as a supervisor in a cocktail bar in Collingwood and looking for a new place to call home! I've been in Australia for 5 months already and I'll be looking to stay for another 6-8 months. I'm a super chill guy, always clean up after myself. When I'm not at work i enjoy photography, exploring new parts of Melbourne and socialising with my friends.
I (Steph) am Irish and Tim is English, we left London 10 months ago to travel through Asia before coming here to work. After travelling for so long we're looking for somewhere we can settle and make home while we're in Oz. We're about to start work as software developers and we're looking for a flat share for 6 months. We're both clean, tidy, respectful housemates, we have lived in flatshares in London and met some of our best friends that way. We're both social people and enjoy travel, watching a movie or having a good chat over a drink. I'm a qualified personal trainer so I love keeping fit and Tim is really into music and cooking.
I work full time as a Occupational Therapist at a local hospital. I can provide some furniture: couch, occasional lounge chair and coffee table. Full kitchen wares include cake mixer! Looking for a non-party household with people who are respectful of one another. I take pride in maintaing a clean home environment. When I am not working I enjoy catching up with friends.
Hey hey! I'm looking for a place around inner Melbourne to live whilst I'm studying and working. I'm doing second year arts at Melb Uni and having a blast! I also work in a creperie, so I'm always up to my ears in nutella and coffee (definitely can't complain though). Outside of work I like catching up with friends over drinks and going out to gigs or events. But I ain't no wild party animal and I'm just as happy to kick back with a good book, some music, or a bingeable TV show. I'd love to live with open friendly people and I'm always down for a chat and a laugh! That being said, I'm very open-minded and respectful of others and I do my best to keep tidy. That's all from me, but feel free to send me a message because I'd love to hear from you :)
G'day! I am Bram (25 yo) from The Netherlands. My story in short: After finishing my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering followed by a working year, I found it too obvious and not adventurous enough to continue my working career in The Netherlands. Let's try 17,000 kilometers beyond: Straya! During my studies the past 7 years I have always lived in social shared student houses in both The Netherlands and the US (did a part of my degree in the US). I really like the social thing about living together: hanging around, have some beers, nonsense talking, sharing your irritations of that day with dinner, etc. Hence, I would prefer to live in a social vibrant shared house. I am entering Australia on a working holiday visa, however my goal is to stay here for a couple years and find a sponsorship for an engineering job. Although I know everyone is describing themselves with the same keywords I am still gonna do it ;). I am easy going, I feel myself most comfortable in social surroundings, I have a work to live mentality and I have a lot of diverse interests. About my interests: I am a football addict, the round ball version to be clear. Furthermore, I like music. I play saxophone myself and I often go to music festivals. Hooroo!
Hey all! I'm easy going, level headed, enjoy company and tidy. I'm a working musician (drummer) currently in 5 bands - so that means I'm looking for a house which would provide a practice space for my drum kit. If a shed/ garage in your stay has space I can easily sound proof it no worries! I'm currently working in door to door sales but am planning on getting a forklift licence and working in warehousing. Would love to hear back from you!
I consider myself to be a peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals, fitness. I'm someone who likes socialising and enjoys time by myself equally. I tend to keep things tidy as I have mild OCD. Un-winding with a drink or Movies/Tvshows is something I tend to engage in. Im from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time. Looking forward in meeting my new flatmates!
Hi there! My name is Janelle and I am a 27 year old Canadian student doing a Master's in Social Work at La Trobe. I just returned from three months in Southeast Asia and am looking for a snazzy new place to call home! Preferably long term housing of 6-12 months. School and my work as a research assistant keeps me quite busy and therefore I am at the library quite a bit. However in the evenings I love having a glass of wine or sharing a meal. I'm also partial to the occasional Netflix binge session, keeping active, and Oreos. I enjoy spending time socializing but am also respectful of housemates privacy as I have lived in sharehouses for the past 8 years. If I sound like a good fit for your sharehouse, get in touch! Janelle
Hi! I'm really interested in your announce. I'm a chilean 22-year-old exchange student in ACU who is desperately looking for a house in the CBD. I'm quite sociable, I love watching series or movies with my roomates and I also love spending time with them. My classes will end by the end of June so I will only spend one semester in Melbourne. Please write me back if you are booking inspections!
Canberra raised now a Melbourne northsider looking for an unfurnished room in the neighbourhood when my Carlton North lease is up. Work a 9to5 in sales by day and study post grad in procurement part time. In my spare time love making music or playing around on my dj set. Great to join a house that's up for hang outs, gigs or the occasional beers at home. I'm easy going, social and considerate of space and privacy. Been living in sharehouses for a while, so I know to pay bills on time and keep tidy. Anything else you'd like to find out? feel free to ask!
I am easy going and social that I enjoy having conversation with people on any topics. I like traveling, exercising, listening to music and learning new languages (I speak Mandarin and Japanese and just started learning French). My lifestyle is quite active that I like to go to gym after work during weekdays and hang out with friends hunting for good food, coffee and dessert on weekends. I cook and drink a little wine and beer that I think it would be great if there is someone to share with sometimes. I am organised and tidy that I can help out in house cleaning at anytime.
Hi I'm Paul, I'm a 31 year old professional musician and teacher. I teach a few days a week and perform on the weekends for a living. I'm considering renting a studio space in either Brunswick or Bayswater for practise and teaching, so if I had that space I wouldn't be practising at home and being noisey. Alternatively, I'd be looking in particular for a share house where I could do some saxophone practise during the day. Generally between 9-5 business days, and maybe on occasion a hour or two on the weekends. If that suits you that'd be great! I'm a very laid back person, not really a party animal, and tend to stay home a fair bit. I also enjoy cycling, seeing live music, and catching up with friends. Totes up for a beer and hang in the evenings. Love pets, but don't have any myself, if you have a pet, consider me the fun uncle to that pet...or is that weird...
Hi there! My name is Ben, I'm 27 from the United Kingdom, I have been living in London for the past few years, moved to Melbourne in February to start a year's working holiday! I am a very clean, kind and respectful person. I love socialising and a good night out but also appreciate the need for space and privacy. I love film, photography, almost all types of music and I'd love to start exploring the city, searching for nice food, cultural stuff etc. I'm a decent cook, tidy and generally easy going. I have an open mind and accept people of all walks of life, so would like to live with similar people! Cheers, Ben
