Kiwi moving from NZ to Melbourne (Jan 17th) for my next career move, ambitious, genuine, kind hearted, friendly, love sports, passion for music, foodie, super clean, organised and love meeting new people. Am looking for a place in the listed areas (preferably right in the city, therefore I get use to my surroundings), fully furnished with own bathroom and love animals so don't mind at all.
Hi, I´m a german student who will study for one semester at the RMIT. I would love to cook german Schnitzel once in a while for you or to be your sports partner. Currently i´m studying electrical engeneering in Germany. I want to find a nice furnished shared flat to get in touch with locales or other internationales and just enjoy my semester abroad. I´d like to hear from you.
I'm looking for a place close to central Melbourne. I'm busy most of the time but would love to catch up with flatmates sometimes. Furnished or semi furnished room would be great. Cheers
Hey Flossers😊 Employed fulltime (crane operator). Love a bit of gym and yoga. Not a big drinker but don't mind a couple here and there. Slight ocd with how I keep my own space lol but that's just how I like my things. Always considerate of communal areas with use, noise and cleanliness so Looking for like-minded, pleasant to be around housemates who are happy to contribute to a nice home. Love animals but don't have any of my own. Looking for somewhere on the cheap side but not nasty.
I am looking for a long term place I can call home! I am 24 years old and working full time in South Melbourne so hoping to move somewhere thats only a short walk or tram ride away from here. I work Mon-Fri and like to get and about on the weekend, I love to come home to a social house but also appreciate some downtime with Netflix! I like to have a wine after work and on the weekends but don't want to live in a house that hosts parties every weekend. Im responsible with bills and tidy up after myself, I would be happy to go on a lease if needed.
I'm a student at Uni Melb and I'm looking for a place to move in near the Parkville Campus. During the week I'm mostly going to be at Uni throughout the day. Weekends, I'd like to roam the city if I'm not caught up in assignments. I can cook, love to share a few conversations over beer, coffee (beverage of your choice really), and usually like to sleep a lot. I own a pair of headphones to keep my eclectic preferences in music to myself. I'm looking to move in around the end of Jan but I'm flexible by a week or two.
I'm a single non-smoking health professional who works regular full time hours M-F in the public hospital system. I'm looking for an unfurnished room with some natural light in the inner northern suburbs, on a long term (indefinite) basis. I also need somewhere with capacity for parking during business hours (street parking eg with permit is fine). I'm happy to sign on to a lease. My job involves working with people, so I prefer a relaxed and peaceful space to come home to during the week. I am independent and like my own space, but like to be able to have a chat about the world with my housemates as well, when we're both up for it. My version of socialising with friends tends to be long chats with cups of tea - I'm not a loud party person. I'm usually out a couple of nights a week, and like to find interesting things to do on the weekend. I'm house-trained, socially conscious and respectful of others and their space/possessions, clean but not obsessively so. I always pay rent/bills on time, am not tight with money, and enjoy sharing the occasional meal/drink/outing with housemates, in or out. I'm an omnivore but don't eat huge amounts of meat. If there's a cat already in residence, that's a bonus (not a dog person). My hobbies/interests include barbershop/a cappella singing (I generally practice out of the house or when home alone, so not too intrusive), personal development, musical theatre, good food and wine, linguistics and languages, foreign films, hiking and running (sporadically). I like finding interesting cultural events to go to around town, and am happy to do this alone or with others. I don’t really watch TV day to day (ads and sensationalist news drive me nuts), but will happily binge watch a series, which could be either high quality or utter trash.
I'm Jess, 28 and looking for a short term room/apartment (3 months or so) from the end of Jan. I'm very easy going, clean, enjoy a mix of hanging out at home and catching up with friends for dinner/drinks. I work full time in the city so close to transport is a must!
Hey all! Myself and my boy will be looking for a house share at the start of next year. My little one is a 9 month old staffy that’s full of energy and friendly. He’s house trained and loves a cuddle of an evening. Ideally, we would love to live with another dog or someone who works shifts - that way, he’ll have a little more company than he does at the moment. I’m a 28 old young professional that has been living in Melbourne for almost 3 years. Originally from the UK, so as well as working hard I also like to have lots of fun. Although I have my own social life, I am always open to relaxing with a glass of wine or heading out and about. If you would be interested in giving us both a home in 2018, get in touch! Cheers
Hey! I’ll tell you a little about myself… I am 26 from England and for the last six months I have been travelling through Asia and the east coast in Australia! I am outgoing, sociable, clean and tidy! I know this will probably be the norm to say but it has to be said! Hostel life has been a blast but I am so ready to have my own room and cleanliness to my standards haha! I love exploring new places, watching sports, road trips, I am a water baby and are 'learning' to surf... definitely still a beginner! I never say no to a party but at the same time, you can’t beat a Yorkshire cup of tea! I won’t say no to going out but I also love nights in and me time, Netflix binge has been known to happen! Melbourne was my first place I went to in Australia and I fell in love straight away with the city and the chilled vibes! I have a one year working visa and aim to stick around Melbourne until June/July time. I am currently job searching too! I have just begun to look for apartments and ideally are looking to move in January 2018.
Easy going easy to get along with. Originally from Sweden but liking the Australian vibes so I'm here to stay. Just graduated from Griffith and looking for full-time work in Melbourne.
I'm Will and I'm from the UK. I'm on my second working holiday visa and before I came back to Australia I was a furniture salesman. But like many people I was bored of my job and didn't want to spend this part of my life wasted in one place so I decided to pack up and start again. I'm looking for a place to stay in Melbourne as I'm really liking this city's wonderful weather, culture, variety of food and abundance of wifi. And hopefully make a few friends while I'm here =). I'm looking for a private room (with ideally a double/ queen size bed but it's not essential) as I do prefer a bit of personal sleeping space/ somewhere to relax by myself but will happily socialise with and spend time to get to know any future house/ flatmates and don't mind how many people are in the property (the more the merrier =D). I can move in (to the right place) as soon as you need. I think of myself as a pretty chill guy with an excellent sense of humour and a terrible attention span. I enjoy binge watching good TV, Netflix and Youtube videos (massive Game of Thrones fan of course XD), listening to good music, dank memes, socialising with friends i.e drinking, gaming (played a lot of League of Legends before I left... poorly I might add) and going out for meals, films etc. I used to do a lot of running and football and hopefully will get back into it soon, as my old job fattened me up a bit and I'm definitely in need of the exercise =P.
Hi All, Looking for a new place to call Home. A bit about me: I currently work full time at an accounting firm in the city and work 12 hour plus days. When I’m not at work I’m a pretty social person and don’t mind having a few drinks with everyone but also like some chill out time for myself. I’m easy going, clean but not over the top, love to cook (when I have time), reliable and respectful of others. I also like to play a few videos games and come with a collection of movies and tech. Look forward to hearing back from people.
Mathematics student from the University of Wollongong in NSW looking for temporary summer accommodation while I undertake a summer scholarship program/internship at Peter Mac Cancer Research Centre for 6 weeks from January 2018. I'm seeking a nicely furnished room with ensuite or own bathroom in a shared house with up to 3 females. I'm looking for a homely environment as opposed to a party house. I'm enthusiastic, energetic and friendly. I like to think that I'm clean and tidy, but I can't really prove that on the internet. I love relaxing at home on the weekends (with the internet) but I'm also excited to explore much of what Melbourne has to offer (like a tourist) since I'm interstate. I generally keep to myself but I'm also up for chats and for going to the movies with friends. I respect other people's privacy as I love my alone time. I also have severe food allergies to many foods, so I would prefer to have roommates who understand and know how to handle that, but this is not necessary. It basically means that I'll be cooking most nights, use my own cutlery/cooking utensils/pans/cleaning supplies/toiletries at all times and that I'll be cleaning my own dishes even in the morning after breakfast before work. Please message me for more details if you are interested. I can start renting from middle of December onward, but I would prefer to start renting a room from 27th December 2017.
Hey there, I am an outgoing, yet respectful mid 20's gal! After working in the Canberra public service for three years, I've decided to have a quarter life century crisis and move to Melbourne to undertake postgrad study in Journalism. I lived in a large share house for 18 months and previously house sat many places so am experienced in (and really enjoy) living with other, similar minded people. Am looking to find a home in a new or established share house. I love a good glass of wine, great food and a chat about life/the universe/anything. Hoping to find somewhere by mid February at the latest. As I will be studying, ideally my room will have space for a desk. A car space is also preferable. I can contribute some furniture/appliances (or not) depending on what is needed. Look forward to chatting with you! Cheers
Hey guys! I'm looking to share a place with an awesome, easygoing person not too far from the city and uni. I'm currently doing my Masters degree in Physiotherapy at Melbourne Uni, as well as part time work to make sure I pay the bills on time! In my down time, I enjoy binging shows on Netflix, making the most of our kitchen, and keeping fit and healthy.
Hi, We are an easy going couple looking for a new place to call home. We live in carlton at the moment and we love the area as well as the surrounding suburbs. We both work and keep ourselves busy during weeks. Liam is a friendly English carpenter working Monday to Saturday from 7am to 4-5pm. I'm from Chile and I'm a full time interior designer student at Melbourne Polytechnic. We are not party people but we enjoy nice food, cooking and having friends for dinner, movies , travel and concerts. We also like to discover new secret rooftop bars and restaurants around Melbourne. We like to chill most nights but we are more than happy to share a beer or a glass of vino after a long day. We both come with Netflix and stan memberships as well as some furniture. We have experience living in sharing houses, we are very clean, tidy and respectful. We’re also looking for a long term stay (6 months min) Get in contact if you think we would be a good fit in your house. Feel free to write us if you have any questions. Would be nice to come round and say hello. Cheers Liam and Val
I've had previous flatting experience for the past 5 years. I am clean and respectful, but won't throw a psych if you leave dishes on the bench! I enjoy having a chat to everyone and having a great family vibe within the flat, but am always happy to give you your own space too. In my spare time when i'm not working, I enjoy the gym, drinks with friends, going to new restaurants, travelling and yoga.

Both my friend and I are business owners and hard working people, we are looking to move to Melbourne from Port Macquarie. We are both neat and tidy, well respectable young men. We are easy to communicate with and are very welcoming people!
