G'day, we are Holly and Jesse, and we're looking for a new fabulous place to call home. Holly is a singer/songwriter, youth engagement worker and bartender, and volunteers at Triple R. Jesse is a gardener who works labouring for the City of Whitehorse and also writes fiction and spends a large chunk of time working on his writing. Jesse is American, Holly is Australian, Holly is a vegetarian, Jesse isn't. We both love pubs, beer, books, cooking, walks, talking, seeing shows and sitting in parks. We are both genuinely happy, positive people who thrive on meeting and getting to know new legends, and although we both love going out, we both want home to be a sanctuary and definitely not just a crash pad. We're currently in a pretty unique situation - we've been between renting temporarily with friends and long-term bnb stays, although we both have stable, steady work. Holly also regularly travels outside of Melbourne on tour. Jesse's current visa is up just before Christmas, so we're planning to leg it back to California at that time. It would be so lovely to find the perfect home in Melbourne for the next 5 months. Looking forward to meeting some great people here!
I have travelled to over 70 countries and have heaps of stories. Clean up after myself. Not a neat freak. I work in the city and am pretty active outside of the house. I can cook ana amazing lasagne and have been known to make people laugh.
I have recently relocated to Melbourne from Perth after a couple years of travel. I have a degree in International Aid and Development. I love to play sports and paint in my spare time. I am talkative, friendly and find it easy to get along with pretty much anyone. I will be respectable of your space and love a laugh, a drink or movies on the weekends. I plan on staying in Melbourne for a while and would love to get to know my housemates.. its a new city, new job, new chapter kinda thing.
Hey! Me & my super cool bengal kitty are looking for a new place to call home! If you've got a nice spacious room coming up for a good time gal who loves paying bills on time, being tidying, having major yarns, eating carbs by the spaceship load then lets catch up yea? But if you're also someone/peoples who loves personal space and just chilling then that's awesome too, I can fully respect that! I've got a budget of $360 per week for a sweet spot
I am reliable, easy going and very tidy. Happy keeping to myself but do enjoy having a couple of drinks, sharing meals and having a good chin wag with my fellow housemates. Looking for a room for myself and my fluffy cat, Doagy. I am a vet nursing student so rest assured, I clean up after my cat and she won't be any bother. In my spare time I enjoy watching bad movies, drinking warm beer and going out to see live music. Not too fussy on location, would like to be based towards the city if possible. As long as I can drive to my jobs/school (located in Ringwood, Fairfield and Bayswater) within an hour then I'm happy. Wanting to move A.S.A.P. If you would like to know more about me or if you potentially have somewhere for me to live, please send me a message.
My name is Clare Challis, I'm 22, work full time in the CBD. I'm very cruisy and easy going. I've lived out of home since I was 18 so I'm quite self sufficient. I've grown up in Torquay so I love the coast. I'm quite a social person so I won't be a hermit hanging around the house 24/7. I'm easy to get along with and very adaptable so I'm open to whoever I live with.
25 year old accountant from South Africa, recent arrival to Australia on a working holiday visa, looking to meet some decent people. Preferably looking for a one bedroom or studio flat, clean and will respect fellow flat mates privacy.
My name is Penelope, im 22 years old, half german/half greek and im on the hunt for a room while I'm doing my semester abroad in cultural studies at the la trobe university until December. I know that's not really long term but I'm still searching for something that feels a little bit like home 🙂 Im a easy going, sometimes crazy but always happy person.
Hi! We're a couple who are new to Melbourne. We're hoping to find a room to share for 2-3 months while we get settled. I'm studying winemaking while also working in wine retail. Oliver is studying software engineering and is a bartender at a music venue. We've both lived in share houses for 9-10 years so we're very well house-trained. We're clean, tidy and never have any trouble paying bills on time. We're equally happy to hang out with housemates or do our own thing. We're not party animals - we're much more into enjoying good food and wine than getting rowdy. I have a lot of diverse interests - cooking, sport (especially cricket), cinema (especially foreign and independent films), music, camping and hiking, history, learning new languages, etc. I'm a bit of a trivia buff and will never say no to a pub trivia night. I'm also very open to meeting new people and trying new things. Oliver's into sports (particularly cricket and AFL), fitness, music, web dev and puppies.
A potential flatmate, yes, but never a flat mate. I'm Kris, part-time retail employee, full-time energised bundle of joy, or so the rumours persist. I'm a pretty economical unicorn of sorts; I enjoy a good Aldi splurge, cheap Chinatown eats, gallery hops, and kerbside collections. Forever the domestic goddess of your dreams, I follow the mantra of keeping common rooms immaculately cosy, whilst mingling with esteemed members of the disinfectant community on a weekly basis (I personally consider Ajax and Exit Mould to be my friends). I have a penchant for morning sweat sessions - Bodyattack and Pump to be specific, and long walks when I can. Meeting new people, dinner parties and sneaky wines are a weekend ritual. In general, you'll be getting a chilled, calm and collected kaleidoscope of an individual.
I'm an easy going film loving sociable English-Australian looking for a place in Melbourne. I've lived in sharehouses before so I'm house trained and always been punctual with paying. I'm happy for a chat and a couple of drinks but respectful of peoples privacy.

I'm 22 years old, I'm a third-year student architecture at Monash University and I also work there as a laser cutter and 3D printer supervisor. I prefer a quiet home space but I generally go with the flow of whoever else is living there. In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, cook, play video games, listen to music. I like things tidy but I'm not crazy about it. I like pets but I don't have one myself. Not a smoker, sometimes a drinker.
Hey! I'm a chilean guy living in melbourne for more then 16 months. I'm currently studying commercial cookery and working in a lovely cafe in Hawthorn. I consider myself a really reliable and easy going person. Not fussy at all and very respectful about living with others. I'm clean, tidy and orginised. If I am not working I love to spend a lot of my time at gym. I'm a healthy person, trying to maintain as much fit as I can and I'm quite active. Even when I love to watch movies and stay at home, I much rather prefer to going out for dinner, meet new people and try not to stay most of my day at home. I'm vegetarian, love cook dinner and chatting.
28 years old grew up in Melbourne, but have lived overseas since I was 19, have just returned and bit over a month ago, currently in a short term sublet and now looking for a new place to call home from end August/. Ive always paid my rent and bills in time, and tidy and respectful of everyone I have lived with. Im not looking for a party house , but for sure im up for some social beers at home and at the pub, plus I love my sport so always up for going to match’s and would for sure be up for getting involved in things with the house, I also like going to the gym a couple of times a week. I also love playing some FIFA with my current & previous housemates, . My main job has been in major musicals around the world, currently Performing in Jesus Chirst Super Star at the arts center for till mid August, then back to working 9-5 in the CBD till the end of the year. I have a car so need a car park or a parking permit etc. But would be up for doing shopping runs for the house! Im really looking for some sort of Creative house, but open to other things as well. Looking for a approx 6 month ish contract, but also flexible with that. thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! Alex
I got my secret grandma's recipe to make the most delicious mexican food. I work in hospitality so I always have different schedules, I like to Visit art galleries and I do opshoping ( I always find really good stuff). I like to go out and have drinks/dinner with friends.
All-round chill housemate that just wants to get along with my housemates and have a fairly neat house. I love to cook and read, so expect me to force feed you and lend you my books. Always down for Netflix binges and getting stuff on Ubereats together. I respect others' privacy and do like my own quiet time as well, but don't mind if you have friends over from time to time, and I'd like the same for myself as well. Wanting to start up a new share house with awesome like-minded people (preferably females) where we get to start a home from scratch together! :)
Hi, my wife and I are moving to Melbourne from Brisbane. we are looking for a temporary accommodation for 4 weeks while we search for an apartment. Starting date around 28th of August (flexible). I am from Italy and I have a PhD in engineering. I will start working at Swinburne as a Lecturer for the Faculty of Engineering on August 28th. My wife is from Brasil and she is a real estate agent in Brisbane. During the day, she will be inspecting apartments and searching for a job in a real estate agency. We will be out of the day and at night we usually enjoy watching Netflix to relax after a hard day of work. We also like to cook and take walks in the parks or by the river. Thank you Andrea
I'm a student from Germany and I will be studying at ACU for one semester. During that time I would like to live in a flat with others in order to meet new people and have a great time in Melbourne! I'm considerate, friendly and clean. I'm a very respectful flatmate, so there should be no problems!
We are Electrical Engineer looking for any engineering opportunity, till then working full time as a purchasing assistant. A bit about myself, With my spare time I like to try new food, brew beer and hang out with mates. I'm super relaxed and just looking for a house that is to. But don't panic I'm not relaxed when it comes to keep things neat and clean in the common areas of the house. I've done the share house game before, so I'm more than comfortable giving people their own space, and I enjoy time to myself as well, but it'd be really cool to have some housemates who like to have a drink and socialise a bit as well. I'm reasonably neat, and my employment is secure, so no issues with the rent. I am moving back to Melbourne around June, and would prefer somewhere near city, but will happily consider other areas as well. If you think you might have what I'm looking for, or have any questions, then I would love to hear from you! :) Akshay
I'm escaping the Sydney rat race and moving to Melbourne! Arrive in Melbourne on 24th July. I've got some friends in Melbourne, but looking for a house where I can make some more! I'm typically pretty busy with work, trying to get to the gym, and trying to cook healthy dinners, but always partial to a sneaky glass of wine or beer every now and then, and it would be cool if my future housemates were the same! I want to find somewhere I can call home, relax, chat about the day/life, but also respect others privacy. Oh and I can totally clean up after myself. On a weekend I'm into live music, catching up with friends, getting out in nature (are there beaches in Melbourne?!), and perhaps a beverage or two.
