Hi! I’m 31 years old and from Hamburg. In September I moved to Melbourne and started a new job at a digital marketing agency in Cremorne. I'm looking for a cozy share house with nice flatmate(s). I’m new to the city and would love to live with flatmate(s) who are open to making new friends if we click. I’m very respectful of privacy but I’m also a sociable gal and I love a good chat over a glass of wine or a cup of tea. I like to cook and love good food, also trying new restaurants and pubs and am open and spontaneous for new things. I eat pretty much everything and am not an allergy sufferer. I do not have pets, but it doesn't bother me when also pets living in the house. Happy to host people and have get togethers though - But I would prefer to live with people who don't view their apartment/house as a place with daily party. I can get along with pretty much anyone as long as we’re all respectful. Also - I like to feel safe and comfortable in my home environment. I think it's super important to communicate with each other about things rather than let things fall by the wayside (or become passive aggressive/uncomfortable). I would be happy to move into a furnished or unfurnished private room in an existing share house with 1-3 roommates in October. I would prefer to find somewhere districts close to Cremorne, ideally Richmond or South Yarra. I'm always on time with rent and bills. More than happy to answer any questions you may have so please do not hesitate to contact me. Cheers!
22 year old single male, usually like to keep to myself but am not anti-social by any means. Preferably i would like to live with females as i have 5 sisters and am more comfortable living with females than i am with males. I currently work full time in the CBD.
I'm a chilled guy whose clean and tidy. I like to have a drink but not too much. I feel I can get on with most people. Living in hostels for so long helps! I’m currently looking for jobs as well. Currently on my first year visa and I’m hoping I’ll get my second.
All my last housemates are good friends of mine now. It is a thing! I am respectful and easygoing, open mind, and i have no problems with different cultures, languages, religions, genders and whatever. I just want to work, study and share peace and funny times during this second year of my visa. Long term rent preferred (9 to 12 months).
I enjoy cooking, having a glass of wine and generally being social. I am out of the house a lot with sport commitments and work. I work full-time as an engineer in the city. During the week I either have rugby training or head to the gym, then on the weekends like to head out for dinner/drinks. Weekends normally involve shopping for the week at the markets, sport and cooking. I'm easy going, respectful of peoples space, and don't make a mess. Flexible with move-in date, don't have a set end date either - can be as short or long as required as long as it works for both of us. Non-furnished bedroom preferred, own bathroom if possible.
Hey everyone! My name's Sam. I'm originally from London, but now I call Melbourne home! Currently based in P-RAN, but looking to move northside for a change of scenery and to meet some new people! I work full time in the CBD as a tech & UX recruiter. I volunteer quite a bit with The Big Issue and St. Vinnies and generally try my best to be a decent human. When I do have some spare time, it's usually spent either exploring Victoria on my motorbike, boxing, making music, surfing, trying to learn Italian (and failing miserably) or hanging out with mates drinking super smashy reds. To live with - I reckon I'm pretty good for a guy. I'm clean, respectful of others things/space and generally quiet. I used to be a chef in Italy, so I'm all about cooking big meals on a Sunday for friends and newly acquired awesome housemates :-) Looking forward to meeting you soon - Sam
Hi I'm a 31 yo gay professional male. Own my own place in St Kilda which I've just put on AirBNB, and looking to move up North to be closer to work (Banking) and also bored of living by myself really! Quite social, if I'm not out wining and dining, hiking or playing tennis, I'm staying in cooking up a feast and opening a bottle of red, listening to music or watching trashy TV. Lived in Melbourne 5 years now, I'm Aussie but grew up all over the world. Anything else just ask.
Hi me and my partner are coming to backpack to Australia in December , and we are looking for long term accommodation. We plan to apply for work while in Australia. We are down to earth people , looking forward to meeting new friends. We are mess free and do not smoke :) . Our interests are to see the world , we both love to keep fit and meet new people.
Hello, I'm an Interior designer (with some creative projects on the side). I'm interested in many things and curious about everything, but mostly my time is focused on design, some music and reading, and exploring new places. I'm very open minded / easy going and easy to live with, and I respect shared space. But I also want to live in a clean house where everyone contributes. I'm looking for a share house with 3-4 other people, similar age and preferably mixed genders - I'd love an active house where we engage and spend time together and can have a laugh, whilst still having personal space / time too. A parking space or permit would also be ideal :) Look forward to meeting you!
Hello!! I am moving to Melbourne at the end of September and am looking for somewhere lovely to live!!! I will be working for an NGO in Brunswick... so somewhere nearby would be ideal! A bit more about me... I love all things colourful and creative... I would love to spend all my time in a creative pursuit but unfortunately need to work full time to support my many indulgences (shopping/ eating brunch/ travelling!!) I really enjoy outdoor adventures and exercise but at the same time love a glass of wine and going out and socialising. I also love travelling and go exploring whenever I have the chance....the more offbeat and exotic the place the better! I have been living in Canberra for the last 18 months- and have loved my share house here where we socialise together frequently but also give each other enough space and downtime. I would love to be part of a similar household in Melbourne! I look forward to hearing from you!! Thanks Jess
33yr old Professional. ( Horologist, I'll be working for a French Luxury Company) Moving to Melbourne in late October for a new job and starting all over again. I'm pretty neat and tidy, Great sense of humor ,value mine and others privacy, love to cook, social but like to do my own thing from time to time, got to the gym a few times a week, home is my place to unwind and relax after work so don't mind a social drink every now and then, would be great to have housemates that could become friends and show me all the great local spots. Ideally i'd like to be a half an hour from the CBD via tram, train or bus. I love Melbourne but not too familiar with suburbs i may have overlooked so let me know! I Love the outdoors so any excuse to get away for a spot of fishing and I'm all in! Recently got my firearms license so do a bit of sport shooting too Love animals so if you have a social dog or cat i don't mind at all :) Just got myself a new car so undercover or off street parking would be great!
I'm a full time OT student who loves the outdoors (especially the beach) and going to brunch. I've lived out of home for 3 years and was originally from cairns. I often have a few terrible puns up my sleeve and am always up for a laugh. I know I am very young but I pay my own way and value living in a clean house. Just a happy go lucky person who loves food and going on picnics. Looking to move into a place anywhere between October the 9th and the 22nd of November :)
We are a married couple with a fat cat called Voldemort... how about that for an intro ?! Dylan (my husband), is an IT professional, so works full-time and has a huge passion for kite surfing, camping and most "outdoorsy" activities. Georgia (me), is a hair and makeup artist so my working hours are more random (not as simple as a 9-5pm gig). I love arty things and using my hands for everything - and I also love the outdoors and camping. Our cat Voldemort, is super cute (an unbiased opinion), and is very chilled. He likes to watch things and sleeps a lot. He is an indoor/outdoor cat, however, at night time he is locked inside for his safety and also for the safety of little animals. We are currently looking to find a place to stay in over the Summer time - from about November till March, but our plan is pretty flexible. We'd like to move close to the beach, so it'll be easier for kiting, but also so we can enjoy the Summer whilst being close to water. Ideally, we are looking to move in with other mature professionals that have had experience in living away from home.
Hi there, My name's Melanie I'm currently studying architecture but will finish up in November this year and will be working full time as an architectural grad at my current job in Fitzroy. I'm super friendly and would love to hang out/go out for a dance etc. I have the cutest little cat named Komomo, he's very shy/scared of other humans but will slowly warm up to you once he gets to know you :) I love digital illustration and graphics and spend a lot of time doing that kind of stuff, but apart from that I just want a pal to live/hang out with :) I'm also super chill and don't mind if you're loud or whatever, wouldn't mind a bit of a party person but if you're not that's also cool with me since I can be quiet too :)
I'm a responsible guy, really easy-going, respectful of other people's space and expecting the same in return. Of course we can have talks and share some meals and experiences. I love listening to music (different genres), I play a little bit guitar and recently I bought an ukulele to try something new 😉. I like movies (from Hollywood mainly, so I make references to Oscars nominees or winners every time I can), I love football (soccer), play basketball (at least I try to) and recently I bought a bike so I hope to use it a lot. Also I'm taking my first steps into photography. I'd like to share and learn about all these topics in Melbourne, and of course if you want to learn some words in Spanish I can teach you 'mi amigo'. I'm gonna stay in Melbourne for at least one more year and I'm interested in finding a private room, so let me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers!!
Hey there! I am a 24 year old looking for a chilled place and people to live with. I'm a social worker 4 days per week and I volunteer 1 day with people who are seeking asylum. I'm an aussie but i grew up in Japan! So im fluent in Japanese can whip up a sick asian dish in no time. I enjoy eating out, having wines, dry humour and great company. I am also a little bit of a nerd and hope this scores brownie points with you (star wars, lord of the rings, studio ghibili)! Looking to find a household/housemate that is clean, somewhat lefty progressive and I'd love if we could share a meal or wine occasionally. I have lived in a share house before and I'm very respectful of others needing space and keeping common spaces clean. Looking forward to meet you!
Hi! I'm a 22 year old Swedish girl who just moved to Melbourne. I'm super easy to live with, get along with everyone, keeping it clean and tidy around me and ofcourse always pays rent in time. I would love to socialize and enjoy occational dinner/beer/wine/whatever together, but I also respect personal space. I'm here on a working holiday visa and plan to stay in Melbs to work for at least 6 months. Hope to hear from you!
Easy going, quiet, laid-back like to cook at home...always clean up after myself. No mess in the shared spaces. Occasional visitors but make sure there is no disruption of your space. Spiritually inclined, university researcher, just looking for a space with separate bathroom and little overlap between flatmates. Can be social but usually give people their space...not a party goer, like to read, watch movies and happy to cook for the flatmate on occasion and make some good chai. Active - into yoga, meditation and weight training. Can give more information if desired.
