Hi im Casey 27, female primary school teacher. Returning to Uni to do a Masters, working part time. Looking for a chilled out share house, with easy going, friendly house mates happy to have chat and drink occasionally.
We have recently finished a road trip across the South of Australia and want to set up in Melbourne for a while. Owen is a carpenter and I am a teacher. We are an easy going English couple who enjoy great food, music, chilling in, fitness and exploring. We are looking for a room for a min of 4 months! Let us know if you think we could fit in your humble abode x
Im an outgoing and friendly person. I work full time as a professional worker and Stydy. I am looking for a flatmate who is clean and tidy like me and who is easy to get along with. I enjoy my privacy and i respect other peoples privacy very much. I am looking to move in with someone as soon as possible and would prefer moving in with a female as I have found in my experience that females care more about the cleanliness of the house than males.

Hey there! I'm Lea and I've been in Melbourne since June and worked here as an artist in residence. I originally planned to go back home to germany in january but earned some extra money with art stuff, so I can afford to stay a bit longer (until mid February). I'm friendly and easy going, into art, music and fashion, love nights with a bit of wine (or beer. not too picky there) but also love to just chill and watch a movie
I'm Holly. I currently live alone & I am wanting to get back into share housing to save money. Have lived in share houses before, but after living alone for a whole year, it's a little bit scary. Looking for some super chill housemates, preferably don't want to live in a community bigger than 3. A mixture of male & female would also be nice, preferably in the age bracket of 22-32ish. I am really chilled out, not much phases me, except for racism, sexism, homophobia & close mindedness, those are a few of my not so favourite things. I cook well, even if I do say so myself, but I do eat very plant based and I love to grow my own herbs and the odd veggie or too. I like to keep a clean and tidy house, though I do understand that life sometimes gets in the way & mess is sometimes un avoidable. I'm a bit of a workaholic. I don't work full time, instead I keep 2 casual Jobs a day jon & a night job, which usually take up about 40 hours of my week, so I do spend a lot of timeout of the house. I'm a creative person & can be a bit of a night owl. I like to be quite sociable, but can be introverted, so I do need a bit of my own space. I am how ever almost always keen to share a bottle of red over a debrief at the end of the day. Let me know if you would like to team up and find a place, ideally thats what I would like to do as I have a fair amount of furniture from my current apartment. I'd love to get coffee and have a chat about what you want in a housemate. :) Please feel free to message me, I may be a little slow in responding though as I do have a lot on my plate at the moment.
Hey I'm Sarah, I'm working full time in the city. I'm clean & tidy, considerate, friendly :) Fairly balanced .. down for a chat/drink with the flatties some nights, sometimes go out, or sometimes just chill in my room reading or watching netflix. I enjoy walking/running, music, meeting new people... msg me if you are after a new flattie =)

I'm an easy going person who absolutely loves plants! I have a habit of turning my room into an indoor forest, so I can hide away with a good book and some amazing food. I'm very social and easy going. I'm moving to the University of Melbourne to focus on studies, but I'm keen to join a share house where I look forward to coming home to a great bunch of friends!
I'm Dave, an Irish project engineer relevantly new to Melbourne. Currently living in Northcote but want to move to be more central. I've a good sense of humour, bit cheeky but also polite. I am pretty easy going and laid back, clean and tidy. I like travelling, love live music, going to gigs and festivals. I'm into sport but not a fanatic....in moderation. During the week I work, go to the gym or a run and maybe out for dinner. At the weekends I like checking out some bars and if there is events on, I'd be checking them out too. Coming into summer, I'm looking forward to spending more time outdoors, going on trips/adventures, mountain biking, the beach. Not just looking for a room but also somewhere to appreciate, relax and call home. As well as make new friends in the process. I do like my own privacy at times, but am also very social.
I'm Sophie,23, host at one of Melbournes leading restaurants. I recently left my job in events to persue something further - I am very dedicated to pushing myself to achieve my career goals. I love working and socialising equally along with being a firm believer in loving what you do. I'm clean and super organised but also respect how others like their spaces. Looking forward to meeting with you.
Hi! I'm Silan. I landed here from Turkey, about a week ago, my visa for a year. I'm 27 years old. Play basketball back home for the city , travel a lot while I can, and super easy going, tidy and clean. I like to be live with the enjoyable and energetic people like me. I can cook the traditional foods and I like to share my culture with the other people. We could enjoy putting on a record, cooking together, sharing a bottle of wine over good conversations after a busy day. Was wondering if any of the rooms still avalible. and if so meet up and go over details. Let me know if you need more details about myself. Thank you. Silan
Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need larger room rather than smaller. Possibly 3m x 4m ish. Would also need broadband internet or availability at least for computing, Tv etc.
Hi, I am currently looking for a private room to stay from 7 Dec to 18 Dec 2016 (12 nights). Please message me if you are interested. Thanks. A little bit about me: I think everyone thinks themselves is easy-going and clean, so I will not emphasize that. I am a software developer working at an Internet startup in Melbourne. I love Japanese culture. I can speak Japanese and have traveled everywhere in Japan. I also like hiking and have a little bit experience in mountaineering.
Love sharing my cooking, finding new coffee spots and having the occasional wine/cider. Love reading, playing board games, having a good chat and going on day trips to the country. I like a healthy balance of exercising (gym, riding my bike, yoga) and binge watching tv series. The usual - pay bills on time, easy going, respectful, clean and tidy.
I'm from Canada, and I work in hospitality so my hours are a bit strange. I'm very easy-going and open to pretty much everything... Honestly I love having netflix binge nights just as much as I love going out for drinks! I also can't seem to find the words to describe myself so I'm sorry!!
Hello! Looking to apply for a 2 bedroom flat with one other ASAP with my floofy friend, John. Looking for somewhere Carlton North/Brunswick East area and would like it to be a place where we can feel comfortable making the place our own. Would prefer to live with someone of a similar age but this isn't compulsory. A BIT ABOUT ME I am 25 and a creative type with an interest in science/technology. I play video games and am mostly vegetarian but cannot sustain due to health reasons. LGBT+friendly, sometimes introverted but love company. I can talk forever about pretty much anything, any philosophical topics on your mind will not go undiscussed! I'm finishing up my photography degree next year and at the moment about to start volunteering for Lort Smith.
Hi! I'm moving closer to work in Parkville from Melbourne's eastern suburbs due to a job change and my current lease is ending. Looking for young professionals or postgraduate students to live with. Otherwise I quite like cooking, hanging out and watching some Netflix with a drink or two. I'm a friendly, outgoing and clean person. Have lived in shared living arrangements for a while now and get how it works. if you want someone who not only lives and is up for a chat, I'm the person for you.

Completed my studies in nursing and psychology. About to start my full time career in nursing at the Royal Children's in February 2017. Currently live 45kms north of the city so looking to fly out of the parent's nest and move closer to the city. I would say I'm a pretty easy going person, easy to get along with and happy to socialise but also understand the need for space/privacy. Also understand the importance of a clean communal space.

My partner Shannon & I will be looking to find a 3 bedroom home to rent & are looking 1 a housemate to join us in our search. We will keep the 3rd bedroom as a spare & plan to furnish the home with our belongings but are open to what you may have to offer for the home. Expected budget for house mate $200-250. Also a housemate who will keep the shared areas in the home clean, neat & tidy & someone who is considerate and respectful of others when it comes to noise levels. Rachael is an intern psychologist and Shannon a construction site manager. We are a respectful, friendly, easy going couple who pride ourselves in being neat and tidy & never a hassle to live with. We lead a fairly busy lifestyle between work, gym and our family/friends living out of town but do enjoy a chat and a laugh when we are in the home. If you would like to know any more please send me an email, text or call.
I'm very neat and tidy, I keep to myself most of the time but I do also love socialising with other people. I unfortunately don't have a large budget as I'm only working a casual job and don't get many shifts per week. I'll be starting my studies at Deakin Burwood next year and hoping to look for a place close by!
Hi! After working as a lawyer in Amsterdam for 4 years, I have decided to move to Australia and to find a job as a lawyer in Melbourne (so I'm still unemployed but hope to have a job soon). During university, I lived in a fraternity/sorority house and after that I lived with friends, so I'm used to living with different people and used to cleaning (definitely no hosophobia but I like my house clean), chilling and doing fun stuff with my flatmates (having beers, watching stupid TV shows, cooking, going out etc). I'm super easy going, I don't complain much and I'm not the most noisy person in the world so very easy to live with. Again, I like my beers and to go out but also love sports (running, swimming, rowing, cycling, surfing, boxing) and music (from 3-day music festivals to playing piano and learning to play guitar). I have already arrived in Melbourne and currently staying in a hostel. I'm looking for some nice flatmates (preferably in a furnished flat)! As regards moving date, I'm flexible Not really a plan how long I will stay, could be 4 months or 4 years. Who can help me out? : )
We are 3 friends looking for a house to move in around 20th Dec. We all very easy to along and hygienic i think these are the most important characteristics one will look in anyone for flat sharing.
ABOUT ME: Friendly and proactive. Organised, tidy and respectful but pretty cruisey and easy going! I'm an ambivert, I enjoy socialising but also chilling out and reading. I'm usually out taking photo's at live music events, but enjoy unwinding at home as well. WORK: I work in the music industry in admin, PR and management roles - so I love music!!! I also teach music during school terms and am likely to be studying as well next year. WHO: Would love to live with people who can make the house feel like a home - a room mate family vibe but still have our own lives etc. People that are social and friendly and can share a laugh over dinner or the occasional drink / or tea on the couch with a movie or are happy to adventure outside to a park or garden also! Looking to move in January but am flexible with dates.
Hello! Our names are Sarah and Lily and we're looking for a place to move in to in Melbourne for early January. We're 23, from England and both in full time employment. We first arrived in Australia a year ago and having spent 6 months in Sydney and then completing our farm work in Queensland we're hoping to find a home where we can settle and enjoy Melbourne. We're both friendly, active and outgoing. We work full time but enjoy spending time with friends on the weekend. We're very clean and tidy and would love to finally find a place to call home. Please get in touch if you think we're the right fit! Lily and Sarah
Hi! We are Nick and Emily, a 27 year old couple keen to find some new housemates and an awesome new place. We are originally from Adelaide but have been living in Auckland for the past few years. Emily recently landed a job in Melbourne and moves in January and Nick will follow suit either in late January or early February. Both work full time - Emily as a lawyer and Nick as an accountant. In terms of time frames, we are hoping to land a place from early February and will be looking to sign a new lease with other housemates. We both really enjoy fitness, keeping healthy and are very social. It would be great to find housemates that are keen to have the occasional family meal, share a bottle of wine or a movie. On the weekends you will usually find us at the gym, having drinks with friends or watching the mighty Adelaide Crows. We enjoy a clean house and are always happy to do our bit to contribute!

Hi Everyone, My name is Niketa and I will be arriving in Melbourne on January 2, 2017. I am looking for a place before I arrive. I will be attending Melbourne Law School in February 2017. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Criminology and I am now pursuing my law degree. I want to find a place that is about a 20 minute commute to my school. Also, I prefer a private bedroom with it's own washroom (ensuite preferred). We have been living in Fitzroy North since July, and love area, but the owner of our place is selling so we have to move. Move date sometime in late December is ideal, but flexible in Dec/Jan. My name is Hoss, 31 years old and a recent engineering grad currently living in Geelong. I'm a very outdoorsy person and love to hike. My interests are food, dogs, hanging out a having a beer, and reading. Self-funded person and currently looking for a professional position. I would love a movie night or BBQ night every so often when housemates are not busy and have free time. I love my family and my nephew. I have traveled for quite a while and lived in different countries. Hi, I'm Eileen, 27 years old. I'm from the US and have been working in Boston in the pharmaceutical industry for the past few years. I just moved to Melbourne in July and study at Melbourne Business School. It's great to finally live in the same timezone as Hoss! I love sports, hiking, rock climbing, riding my bike, and I think Hoss stole my thunder will the rest of my interests like food, a good beer, and reading. Random interest: slam poetry. During my time in Boston, I managed to find a women's Aussie rules club that I played for! Although I'm busy with school, I hope to have some spare time to explore the city, and get a few hikes and beach days in!
Hey everyone! My name is Abigail and I am 23 years old from the UK. I have been in Melbourne for two months now, where I have been working at a digital marketing agency in the city. My company has recently offered me sponsorship hence my decision to move out of the city and try and set up properly! I am really sociable, love meeting new people and am partial to a gin! I am really into health and fitness, in particular running and yoga. I look forward to meeting you!
I would describe myself as friendly, calm, patient, clean and organised. I moved from France a bit more than a year ago and have been working as a software engineer in Collingwood since. My weekends are usually spent wandering in the wild doing photography or scuba-diving. I also recently got into skydiving, which means you might have a chance to suddenly inherit all my belongings!
I'm from New Zealand and am moving to Melbourne to attend Melbourne Uni. In my downtime I like tolisten to/play music, cook, or go for a run. I'm pretty tidy as far as guys go and always pitch in around the house. Most of all I'm easy going and social, and am happy both either going out and having a quiet night in with the flatties.
My name is Libby! I'm a 29 year old country girl. For a living I work as a Car Sales Professional - and am moving into a new dealership in Melbourne and looking for people to live with (an hour commute from Ballarat where I live is just unreasonable!) I HATE filling these things out so bear with me. I love to cook and have no idea how to cook a meal for one so if you like your food then you'll love having me on board. I am fitness obsessed and am training for New York City Marathon in 2017 with a possible Marathon in June/July I love to have a glass of wine (in fact I think it's a pre-requisite if you work in vehicle sales) and debrief after work, but I have lived in Melbourne before so won't be in your pocket. Am happy to have pets in the house - my Mum is a vet too which is an added bonus. I am a heavy sleeper - which works well for other people in the house as I do have a tendency to be a grandma during training season. Am a social butterfly but also like space and am happy to have my own solo downtime I am looking anywhere in central Melbourne to be honest the closer to Collingwood the better. I ideally would like a modern house, and am happy to pay more for the master bedroom/ensuite. Even teaming up to make a awesome sharehouse!
Hey guys, I quit uni in Sydney a couple of months ago to move down here and make money for travelling the world! I'm currently working at riverland bar in the city which is awesome fun. I love music and cooking food (and eating :P) I'm a very social person and love to have people around that enjoy a good laugh!
My name is Becca, I’m 27, I’m from Tassie originally but been in Melbourne since Feb last year :) I work a few different jobs: I’m an artist (mostly musician but do a bunch of other kinds of arts too). I’m a self-employed voice coach, teaching technique for singing & speech (but mostly singing). I work about 2 days a week at Mork Chocolate Brewhouse in North Melbourne (from which I bring home tasty treats sometimes!) but am also currently applying for more/new jobs. I also model for life drawing classes and sometimes do other random odd jobs here & there. I’m looking for a home, not just a house; I am a busy person who does my own thing a lot and has a lot of projects I’m working on, so I’m not wanting to live out of each other’s pockets, but I also want to have a place where we hang a bit in the communal areas in the evenings and chat about our days or talk shit, cook & eat together now and then, hang out in the sun on good days and have a beer. In my current house there isn’t much of a good shared lounge area and everyone just kind of lives in their rooms all the time and I am craving a little bit more of a casual family vibe. I don’t smoke, I’ve never been late on rent or bills, I like to be energy usage conscious though not anally-so, I like to try to be good to the environment. I’m great at cleaning and I’m house-proud; I am happiest when my place is looking clean and beautiful, I like indoor plants, sunshine, fresh air, and putting up art :) I’m often singing but I’m told I’m good at it, I like to put on loud music and dance around the house when I’m home alone or if someone wants to dance with, but am also very capable of quieting the fuck down when people need to sleep/concentrate. I’m silly, playful, and affectionate, but also a proper grown up. Ideally I’m looking for a place which has a sunroom/study/spare room/office where I would be able to set up my desk & teach my voice students from. I teach about 3 days a week, 5 hours maximum, finishing by 8pm at the latest (a lot of the time a lot less/earlier). Totally keen to make said teaching room also a shared art room and useable by anyone else at times when I’m not teaching! Or happy to pay a little extra rent for the use of the extra room. I've put $280 per week as max budget but I am really hoping to get a lot less than that. I'm currently paying $200/week. Around $240 would be the highest I'm really hoping to go.
Hi! My name is Cecilia, I am an architect, working as a postdoc researcher at RMIT University. I am from Rome, Italy, but currently living in Barcelona, Spain. My usual hours are 7-3:30 or 6-3:30. My partner (Annalee) works part time as a cleaner while also studying allied health. Our dog (Polo) is very quiet and also very affectionate and cuddly. our cat (Bobby) is also very quiet and affectionate and cuddly. The cat and dog don't have a problem with eachother and aren't really too bothered by eachother. we would love to bring them with us but it isn't crucial that they come as they can stay at my parents. we're pretty easy going and clean, especially my partner.

i'm moving over from new zealand to study audio production / composition in 2017. i'm looking for a place that respects privacy and space, but i am always down on getting a lil crazy and having a good time. i enjoy going to art exhibitions, gigs, clubs, fashion shows etc, would be nice to share a place with people into doing similar things -- im kinda an average cook haha but i can make a gr8 butter chicken. im also a good shoulder to cry on. my room may get a little messy from time to time but i will alwaaays keep communal spaces clean lol get in contact w/ me !! xxoo
A full time uni student attending RMIT Fashion school in Brunswick, preferably looking for something long term (6 months - 1 year). I am a laid back and easy going guy with loads of experience living in share houses. I have decent social skills and will comfortably get along with almost everyone. Do like to go out from time to time but not huge on partying, much rather prefer a civilized drink at a pub. Very clean and well kept when it comes to sharing a kitchen and toilet. I respect the privacy of other housemates and expect the same in return :) Move in date would be the start of February 2017.
I would like to think I'm a humorous and easy going guy. I enjoy sports, like to keep fit and relax by playing video games in my downtime. I working retail managing a sporting goods and apparel store in the heart of Melbourne. I consider myself a tidy person always picking up after myself and keep a clean living environment. I'm relatively quiet when relaxing at home but never shy of having a conversation with someone and hoping to find like minded folks.
