I am moving from Brisbane to Melbourne to start Medicine at the University of Melbourne. I am looking for somewhere central and fairly modern. I am a clean and tidy housemate who would enjoy some interaction with other housemates but is also respectful of everyone's own space.
I'm a qualified hairdresser who is respectful and tidy housemate. I love gardening and indoor plants, crafts, comics, gaming, and make a great granola. I can also come with a large fridge and/or top loader if it's needed. I love going to gigs but marathoning a series is not something I'm experienced in. I'm looking for a place that's close to public transport as I have Multiple Sclerosis. Give me a bell if you are interested in me being your new housie, or want some more information.

Hi guys! We are two Spanish girls from Colombia and Spain that need a new place to call home due to lease ending. We both are 24 y/o students working part-time as well. We consider ourselves open minded, easygoing and we really enjoy sharing time and space with our housemates! We can also cook you some traditional Spanish dishes :) We're able to move ASAP and at last before 7th February. We have a budget of $200 pw but we are willing to pay more for a really cool place. Preferably looking for furnished rooms but it's not a problem for us if they aren't. So if you have 2 single rooms or a one that can be shared don't hesitate to contact us ;) Thank you in advance!
From the country up in NSW, enjoy playing the guitar and longboarding. I'm clean, can cook plus I kinda enjoy it and am pretty good at looking after my self. Enjoy a good party but pretty quiet and laid back most of the time. I just work and practice my hobbies which takes up the majority of my time. I also like socializing and like making new friends.
Hi! We are Pavi and Manon (English and French) and we are both 20yo. We are exchange students at Monash University. We have been in Melbourne since last July and we lived in halls on campus (Clayton) during our first semester here. However we would like to live closer to the city so we are looking for a place to stay near Melbourne CBD for the next coming months. We enjoy eating (a lot!) so we are always looking for new places to go and eat. We also like to cook ourselves so it would be nice to have flatmates who do too! We are also always up for a drink (or two) with our friends. We are gym buddies so we are going on a regular basis to the gym. Sometimes we also enjoy staying home with a good movies/series to watch. And finally we love travelling and exploring new places around Melbourne! We are easy-going, tidy and clean. We are looking forward to meeting you! Pavi and Manon

I have friends and family nearby but it would be nice to live with people that like to hang out from time to time too. I don't have or intend to get any pets, but if you do, I see that as a bonus 😄
I'm looking for accommodation in the area of the university of Melbourne for my first year of Bachelors Degree in Science. I am respectful, quiet and very friendly. I am from Adelaide, just moving out of home for university in time for the Stop 1 science orientation day. I am very knowledgeable, and could likely help out any flatmates with IT issues etc. I am also a pianist, and interested in classical music. I look forward to the opportunity to meet my new flatmates
I'm a 31yo guy and I'm looking at moving from the southside to anywhere between Richmond and Fitzroy. I'm looking to spend $200 - $250 depending on the quality of the place. I'm also happy to be flexible with the dates slightly. I'm pretty quiet during the week but happy to have a chat and a meal. I usually venture out on the weekend but can also enjoy a quiet weekend. I'm pretty sociable and ideally the housemates would be the same. If you want to know more then feel free to drop me an email or I'm happy to come and have a chat. Cheers, Dean
Hi there! We are a friendly and polite professional couple looking for a room close to public transport for 4-6 months. We work long hours so if you're looking for a couple that aren't home a great deal, then we are the flat mates for you! We are extremely polite and friendly, but do not party. We are low maintenance and don't have much stuff, and we don't take up much space in the fridge! We also have a rabbit named Henry and we will need somewhere to put his cage- just on a balcony or outside is fine. He is very well behaved- you won't even know he is there. He loves cuddles and you are welcome to snuggle him anytime at all! We just signed up to Flatmates.com.au and are ready to move in TODAY! Looking for a room that is under $250 per week, including bills. We can't wait to hear from you! Many thanks, Madeline and Carey :)
Hi! I'm open minded and relaxed. Live and let live I say. You do you, I'll do me. I'm quite clean and a good cook when my budget allows. I've just finished a film and television degree at the VCA. The goal is to be a film maker. Most of my time is dedicated to this end. I like to keep to myself though will occasionally like to have a few friends over. I'm also not adverse to meeting and interacting with new people/ having strange people about. I've got a ferret which has made finding accommodation in the city a bit difficult. She mostly lives in her cage or my room. Her name is Lyra and she is very well behaved. She doesn't scratch walls or tear up carpet so aside from knocking over the odd glass she's quite harmless. She's also good with dogs (Knows to be wary of them) and gets on quite well with cats. She's a bit smelly but I spray her with a flowery coat deodorant to keep it under control. She sleeps about 20 hours out of the day so you normally don't even notice she's there. (We have that in common. hah!). If you have a spare and room and open to having a ferret around please message me because you are quite rare!
Im Shanelle, I do work full time, currently in hospitality. I also keep a busy schedule. Trying to get fitter during the week, i do bikram yoga and some inferno pilates, something about the heat is so addicting. i absolutely love to cook, big on fresh, healthy food. I go to the markets on weekends to stock up. I also come with a cold press juicer and blender. I obviously don't smoke. i personally love all things design, and am huge on home wears. I have a little family of plants that would come with me as well. Ive been living out of home for 2 years now and understand my financial status and can budget well. so you will not have any issues with late rent etc. Also very respectable of peoples privacy and space. Understanding i would love to have a home where everyone does get along and can be more so friends than anything else. Come the weekends, i do love a glass of vino but i defiantly do not want to be living in a party house. Because really your home is like you sanctuary! Hopefully this little blurb helps you out
18-year-old male from China studying full-time at University of Melbourne. I went to highschool in Queensland from 2014-2016 and speak fluent English. A clean freak who is capable of doing any type of chores including cooking. An experienced traveller who likes to share his view on almost everything. I DO NOT smoke and accept flatmates that are having a pet, and that could be a dog, a cat and even reptiles (except snake and spiders).
We are young outgoing couple looking for a fresh start in Melbourne - from Jan 30th. We are social, tidy people who are very interested in making new friends in Melbourne. We are avid home cooks, with our own pot planted garden, we love entertaining friends as well as relaxing with some good banter over great (really really trashy) tv shows. Leanora (24) is following a career change from media to entrepreneurship, who loves Italian food, painting (creative in general) and has traveled to 18 countries. James (25) is a Geotechnical Engineer, who is a bit of a coffee connoisseur (snob), loves to have a few craft beers on the weekend as well as a bodyboarder + snowboarder. He has competed in Taekwondo and is just an all-around legend. We would love to move into an existing share house with some great people, or set up our own one with you!

We are two brothers from Italy who are gong to start to study at the end of February. We are two easy going and friendly guys who like to chat and make new friends. We don't have any specific request and both pets and smokers are ok for us. We love sport like skating, surfing and snowboarding and we are crazy for music. In fact, we can both play guitar, even without being annoying (there are always parks to do that).
Hello, My name is Lili and I am looking for a share house or roommates to find a share house in the Northern suburbs preferably Brunswick. I am from Adelaide and moving over to Melbourne to study Fashion Design at RMIT. I am social but like my own time. I run an independent print publication (magazine) called Culture Club which takes up most of my time and I am looking for a part time job for in-between that and study. Besides working I enjoy seeing friends, exploring new places, going to art galleries and museums, painting, going to bars or restaurants etc.
Moving from Perth to Melbourne to study OT, find a job, and hopefully have some fun. Am hoping to find somewhere with enough rooms for myself and a friend or two, but also happy to go solo if I find the right place. Oh and if you have pets then I'm so excited already!
Hello, I'm a very friendly and tidy second year Arts student at the University of Melbourne, originally from Sydney. I'm looking for somewhere to live until mid/end of June this year, and would love a quiet furnished place that's within walking distance to uni. I also work and volunteer as a tutor so will be out and about quite often but happy to chat if we're in at the same time.

Hey, I'm Anna and am looking for a room to rent while studying at the University of Melbourne. I'm in my third year studying business and law and currently work part time at a home organization store (so I know how to keep my space tidy). I like to drink coffee, pet stranger's dogs, go on adventures, and occasionally go out with friends or have a few friends over for a drink. However I am also happy to stay at home and read or watch a movie. I have only had female housemates in the past but would be happy to mix it up! I am respectful of common areas and can give others their space when they need it however I would like to find housemates that enjoy hanging out from time to time and get along well. I am American and will be moving to Melbourne from Seattle so it would be a lot easier if there was at least a bed in the room but if its the right fit I'm willing to figure out the furnishing for myself. The earliest I am available for inspections is February 8th, however I could be ready to move in right away as soon as everything is sorted out. I can be available to move anytime from the 8th to 15th of February. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Hi there, I am an outgoing and friendly girl! I am from Geelong and am looking to move to Melbourne, as I will be working full time as a nurse in a large hospital. I am tidy and organised. I value my own personal space and respect others. I am not looking for a party house, however I do love going out and have a active social life. I am looking for a place I can call home and feel comfortable living in. I would happily enjoy catching up and enjoying a meal or a beverage with my housemate/s. I am SO in love with Melbourne and super excited to explore it, and all it has to offer. I love going out for brunch/ dinner and love good coffee. Looking forward to potentially meeting you..
We are two friends who met in student accommodation looking to move out to our own place. Looking for a share house with 2 available rooms, max rent is $250 each. Hi there! My name is Maddie, I'm a 20 year old musician who is moving down to Melbourne on the 19th of Feb. I have a secure job in a cafe in Queen Vic Markets lined up and will be starting work as soon as I get down there. I am respectful, reliable and get along well with anyone. I'd love to be part of a "family" dynamic but am also ok with keeping to my space. I won't be bringing any furniture down with me but I will be bringing my vinyl and guitar collection as well as a PA system that can easily be stored in my room. Feel free to get in contact! I'd love to have a place organised before I head down that I can move into straight away. Thanks!
I'm a traveller from The Netherlands working in Melbourne for the next couple of months. I'm open-minded, sociable and love music: I play guitar, piano, write my own stuff and know heaps about music. Also useful is that I can cook 🍳 (more than just an egg). I'm 18 years old, and you might think that that's quite young, but I'? wise beyond my years ;) and get along well with the 20/30 range.
- laid back/ chill - clean, organised, responsible - quiet - minds my own business - understanding - open-minded

Hello! After plans to move in with a friend fell through, I am on the search for a beautiful place to call home! I used to study Law at Monash, but dropped out because I decided the 9-5 grind just ain't for me. So now I'm working that hospo grind instead, saving all my pennies, travelling as much as I can and trying to figure out what kind of life I want to build for myself. Ideally I'd love to find a home full of like minded people that are driven and passionate about things important to them. I don't care what your interests are, but I just think it's important to be around people who are passionate and care about something in this world, as I think I'm getting too old for losing myself in Netflix series and meme wars with friends. I'm typically pretty adventurous and would always prefer a day out exploring somewhere beautiful to a day spent on the couch. I'm LGBTQI+ friendly, I hate Trump (who doesn't tho tbh) and generally try to do my bit to make the world a nicer place. I'm vegan, and while I would prefer to live with people who share my beliefs on this, I know it's highly unlikely, so I'm happy to live with people who eat meat too. :) I would ideally like a house that isn't falling apart, but it doesn't have to have been built yesterday. I've lived in sharehouses for the past 4 years so I'm well house trained, on the cleaner side and would prefer to live in a house of about 3-4 people max. I have all my bedroom furniture and happy to chip in for furniture or appliances if need be. :) Photos and bio probs are a bit scrappy, so happy to come around for a chat and cuppa to figure out if we mesh :) NB: Yaaaaas I am open to creating a house with other lone riders! Happy to live with couples (makes for cheaper rent haha) and don't care too much about location, as long as it's pretty close to the city and PT. Also no party houses pls! Been there done that. :)
I'm easygoing and funny girl. Like to talk at evenings about anything without any taboos. I can cook, I'm not the best in it but you'll love me to do it for you and just sit at the table. I'm really tidy as well (but in my car 😉) and will clean the place if this time you cook for me 😜 I like watching movies or listening music, having a drink together or just go outsite for a walk, and I love exchange about experiences we all had
I am currently in Melbourne on a working holiday Visa from England, looking for a full time job! I make a great cuppa, and love eating nice food and drinking good wine! I love Melbourne and am looking to move in somewhere as soon as posssible!
Looking for a room around Melbourne. My partner works full time, about 20 minutes West of Melbourne. I study full time in Caulfield and hold permanent part time position. We live a healthy and active lifestyle but definitely love a relaxed day off. We completed schooling in 2015 in Brisbane and have been working in Victoria for the past year. Looking to move anytime between Feb 13th and the end of Feb. Will negotiate if necessary. Contact me if you believe we may be suitable housemates :)
Hey! I'm Lori, I'm 26 years old from the UK. I have been travelling for almost 4 months around Asia before moving to Oz in December 2016. Currently with friends in Sydney but can't wait to move to Melbourne! I am a paediatric nurse and will be working full time. I'm looking for an awesome house/apartment with awesome house mates! No preference on age/gender. When I'm not working I like to lead a healthy balanced lifestyle. I love yoga/working out but am also a sucker for red wine and chocolate! I love to cook and hang out with friends in the evenings. I love dancing and music so you'll normally find me blasting a few tunes rather than watching tv.
Hi!! I'm a 24-year-old international student from Spain. I have moved on my own to Melbourne to study English and work part time until June. I'm friendly, clean and tidy. I'm a bit sportive and interested in arts and culture. I don't smoke and I like having small talks at home but I'm quiet and considered with my mates so we all need our own time and space. I am quiet, friendly, considered, sociable and interested in different cultures. I also like sharing part of my spear time with other people, family or friends while doing activities or haveing a drink. I have my own single bed, a small table and a mirror, everything can be sold or packed under another bed very easily. In what food is concerned I am very flexible, I like almost everything but it is true that sometimes can be better to organise it separately.

We're both recent graduates from the UK looking to move into one of the central suburbs of Melbourne. We'd love to have housemates we could chill out and enjoy a drink with in the evenings but will mostly be out either working or exploring the city during the days so we won't take up too much space. We're both well house trained and have a Netflix account to sweeten the deal.
I'm Chadwick, I have moved to Melbourne from Perth to do my law post grad (JD) at Uni Melbourne. I'm a big fan of the northside suburbs and with Uni in carlton and work on Brunswick st, the fitzroy/fitzroy north/carlton/collingwood areas are ideal. I've lived with housemates for 4 or 5 years now, I'm real easy going but enjoy living in a clean & welcoming home. I make coffee part time for work, which means I am generally up and about earlyish during the week either at work or Uni. Downtime is usually spent playing guitar, listening to a few records or sitting back with a wine or a couple of tins from time to time.
2 guys from England looking to stay in Melbourne for 2 months (possibly longer) during our working holiday after travelling SEAsia. Lovers of sport and have been keen to check out Oz for years now. Looking to work in cocktail bars during our stay and will be nice to live in an area for a little while and gain some decent mates too! Very clean and tidy people looking for a chilled place rather than a party house, around $200 each. Both love to cook and are more than happy for group dinners of an evening. If anyone fancies teaming up to get a better place for five or so then give us a shout! Will be nice to find somewhere close to town and a gym wouldn't go a miss.
Looking for a new adventure and to meet new people! Outgoing, friendly, love playing soccer and going to the gym. I am a clean and tidy person, I don't like living in an unclean environment. Non-smoker.
I'm a full time worker in Parkville and need a private room or studio apt in February. I cook and clean, can hold a conversation and stay fit and healthy. Rent will never be late, I can easily keep to myself, will join in for a drink or meal if you're up for it. Only own a mattress, will be buying a TV and furniture soon if needed.
Hi! My name is Laura (26) an outgoing, sarcastic and easy to get excited Dutchie looking to start a new life in Melbourne far away from windmills and wooden shoes. I consider myself as clean and tidy and i'm pretending to be a great chef even though I have no idea what i'm doing in the kitchen. I love red wine, wondering around town, books, sketching, family guy, movies, music (soft spot for soul), live bands in bars, running, david attenborough, snowboarding, motorbikes and conversations that pass the limits of time. I'm currently having multiple job interviews planned so I hope on getting a fulltime job soon but until than I'm already able to move into an appartment. Am I the roomie you're looking for? Than don't hesitate to contact me for a meetup! Cheers! Laura Ps. I'm carrying around a bottle of rum from Thailand that is meant for sharing on the first day i move in to a new place.. (Just so you know;))
