I'm relocating from Perth to Melbourne in order to enjoy the wonderful lifestyle on offer and also for a new role at work. I do have short term accommodation lined up until the 3rd Feb hence I'm looking for a private room to move into after. I'm 31 and work full time at a major Australian bank. I like to catch up regularly with friends, shop, yoga/pilates, go out for meals/drinks, cook, bake, watch netflix and travel each year. I have a friendly personality and looking forward to living/working in Melb. I've grown up in Perth and currently own my own 2 bedroom apartment in Perth so I understand the responsibilities that come with it and like to keep it tidy and clean. Looking for a furnished place that is very close to a train st so it’s easy to get into the city, plus trams. I won't have a car so excellent public transport is key. Hoping my new flatmates (up to 3 max) will be fun, tidy and friendly. Initially looking for a place to settle into the city, with potential to extend.
Hi, I'm a 23 year old Radiographer who doesn't mind a few wines and a chat, loves a cup of tea and an occasional netflix binge. I also like to keep active with pilates and running. For work there is occasionally shift work involved, so I would prefer not to live in a party house. I would be interested in becoming friends with roommates but would also like some down time occasionally. I am looking to move in late Jan to early Feb as I need to be out of my current rental by mid Feb and can supply a fair amount of furniture and appliances if need be (everything except a washing machine and microwave). I am probably looking to move in with only one or two people, so shoot me a message if you think you’re interested :)
I am moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast to undertake postgraduate study at The University of Melbourne. I’m neat, tidy and take great pride in my living space and value a home environment that is clean & well maintained. I enjoy socialising and hanging out with friends, but I am also largely independent and respect ones privacy and personal space. My interests include: Disney, yoga, reading, hiking, film scores, traveling, ancient history, Game of Thrones, Angelina Jolie, swimming, Attenborough documentaries, epic fantasy films, traveling, classical music, acai bowls, board games and Mario Kart (because I always win). Ideally, I'm looking to move around mid February.
Hi we are Liv and Rachael and both come over from the UK. We're both social and love hanging out but appreciate our down time. We have both lived in house shares for the past 4 years at uni and are tidy and respectful. I love my music and cooking/baking whilst Rach loves culture and practices yoga. We are always up for a laugh and a glass of wine from time to time.
Relocating from Sydney to Melbourne to study a Masters at UniMelb. Will be working part-time as a research assistant in women's health. Clean, quiet, easy going, and respectful of others. Enjoy bike-riding, cooking, art, gardening, and live music. Love all animals and very happy to share with your pets. Always up for a chat, and keen to make new friends :)
I'm a 22 year-old full time graphic designer working in Collingwood. I'm sociable and fun to live with but like most people I need some space every now and then. I'm looking for a place that won't be more than 1.5 hour travel to my workplace during peak hours. I would love to live with people who I can also be friends with, are tidy and respectful.

Hello future friend! My name is Broc and I’m oroginally from Montana in the United States. I’m a tennis coach and food and beverage professional living here in Melbourne. Studying for my Sommeliers exams and looking for work in wine, restaurants and tennis. I’m conscientious and courteous to flat mates as I’ve been the leasee before. I like to keep myself busy so I’m often not home but when I am I like to cook and enjoy myself or share a meal. Always willing to uncork a bottle of wine and chat or keen to relax and read or occupy my time otherwise. Very easy going. I Clean up after myself like my mother taught me to and I respect other people and their things. I’m also good at cribbage....so that’s exciting.
Originally from Melbourne and excited to be moving back home for Uni after living in Canberra for a number of years. I've just wrapped up my gap year backpacking through Europe and about to begin an arts degree at the University of Melbourne in Feb. I have family in Melbourne and I'll be staying with them until I find accommodation. I love meeting new people and having a laugh so would love to join (or team up and create) a social share house where chats over dinner or going for a drink together isn't unusual. With that being said, I also really value my down time and know when to respect other people's space. More than happy to keep everything tidy, pitch in with chores, be punctual with bills and generally be a kind, respectful roomie. I'm open to starting up a new share house so feel free to message me if you are as well :)
Working in the city as an economic consultant and lived in share houses in Melbourne for three years already. Tidy, clean, friendly. Also respectful when other people need their space. Likes to socialise with a glass of wine or chill with a good book and a cup of tea. Has a sense of humour :)
Hey there! Been in Melbourne for a year now, looking for a great place to call home. I like getting out, road trips, craft beers. My ideal place would be clean & open, generally quiet on the weekdays and a few cheeky bevs on weekends. I work in entertainment so always keen to go out for a show, festival, concert, etc.
Hi all 😊 I know everyone has 3000 of these to read so I'll make mine easy with dot points about myself! - My name is Maeve, I am 25yo and moved to Melbourne from Canberra this weekend - I like wine and chats - I love me a true crime podcast - I am in the sweet spot of not being a clean freak but believe in doing my dishes daily and in maintaining general tidyness - I have just left my job as a Youth Support Worker (in order to move to Melbourne) and have started an application with the Victoria Police (one I expect to take 9-12 months to complete) - I think I am easy to talk to and open-minded - I can make fresh spring rolls I would love a place that's sociable and fun but also respects people's need for alone time. I like to be friends with my housemates instead of simply just co-existing. My only requirement is a place to park my car. Off-street is fine. Thanks for reading and best of luck in your hunt! 😊

Hi there, I am a Software Engineer, working full-time. Have been living in Brisbane for the past 19 years and now relocating to Melbourne for work. I am looking for a modern, clean, and furnished place to stay short to medium term, ie anywhere between 2-6 months. I am a vegan and love all animals. I am very friendly, I enjoy having meaningful conversations but also need my own quiet time and respect other people's space. I enjoy running, swimming, cycling, and hiking. I play the piano and love classical music. Love to travel and explore new places. If you want to learn more about me or have any questions, please feel free to send me a message! :)
I returned to Melbourne a few months ago after living overseas for many years. I’m loving being back and reconnecting with old friends and all the good things Melbourne has to offer. My work is music-related; I’m a sound engineer and concert manager. I’ve picked up some great work since returning, and this year is looking good - my diary is certainly filling up. Accommodation-wise I’ve been doing a mix of house sitting and staying with friends for the last few months. I’m now looking for somewhere for the short term, possibly longer - it's all open to discussion - and preferably furnished. I know what it takes to share a home in terms of good communication and keeping things hassle-free, and I'd like to live somewhere where things are kept generally clean and tidy (as an ex-home helper I'm a dab hand with a dustpan and brush) and the place ticks along nicely. I'm probably more suited to living with over-30s. I can be quiet at times but am by no means antisocial. I enjoy reading, music, science and nature and derive ridiculous amounts of pleasure from cryptic crosswords. Don't let that put you off, though! I like to have a natter and a laugh and share occasional meals when the opportunity arises, whilst also respecting people's need for a bit of quiet time and personal space. I do yoga, walk a lot and am generally active, enjoy cooking and eat pretty well. I’m a non-smoker and not much of a drinker, but certainly don't mind if you're partial to a tipple. Do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.
Hello! I am a Canadian travelling around Australia looking for a place to stay for 3 months as I work during my WHV here. I am a tidy well kept person who cleans up after themselves. I love music and am often listening to something or reading a book! I play soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and am down to play all kinds of sports. I love to cook and enjoy cleaning(I think it's relaxing). I've worked in hospitality for the majority of my career and plan on finding a job in a hotel/bar/restaurant(let me know if you have any leads). I love eating out and I do enjoy a good glass of wine or pint of beer or 2 or 3 haha. Hit me up if you're looking for a housemate or are just generally down to chill! Cheers!
Melbournian, work 8:30- 5pm 4days/week, play basketball, bike rider, yoga, cooking, gym, laughter! My moving date is flexible. Respectful of everyone and their property.
