Hey I'm Fam, I'm a doctor originally from London who has moved to work in Melbourne. I'm pretty chilled and love to cook, read and hike. I'm excited to move to Melbourne and am just as up for chilling in with Netflix as I am for checking out cool new brunch spots and bars!
I’m a nurse that doesn't work shift work (no night shift!) I’m 29 and work in the city mostly 9-5 hours. I’m very tidy, clean and relaxed. I like to get out and socialise with friends during the week and weekends however I am past partying and can't handle the hangovers. I enjoy a few wines with good food (cheese++) and some quality time binge watching shows from time to time like everyone else! My family is in Torquay so I often head back on weekends to visit. I have a very tiny house trained fluff ball of a dog weighing in at 2.5kg who is a ripe old age of 10. Nonna Pippie is smaller than most cats and she’s a extremely cute and friendly pupper. She is known by name to many cafe staff. I’d be happy to propose a higher bond as a ‘pet bond’. Im currently living in Northcote in a place with the landlord and they’re planning to sell so I can basically move in at any point. Look forward to hearing from you 🙂 (Can send dog pics if you’d like) I do have things like couch, fridge etc but can just bring bedroom furniture if the house is already set up.
I am a Software Analyst working full time. I play tennis regularly and do reading in my spare time. I am a social person and I do not mind having a tea when there is a free time or catching up for something else. I do not smoke, drink or party. I am looking for something close to the train station. No pets place. Please let me know if you have something neat and clean.
Hi guys, I'm Matt a 29 year old carpenter, looking for a new place to stay with offstreet parking and reliable internet. I am currently studing a diploma of building and construction and i also play the drums (electronic kit so very quiet). I like to go out on weekends to music gigs but chill during the week during the downtime between work and study. If your looking for a reliable, clean and easy going housemate hit us up. Cheers Matt
Friendly, introverted, private, respectful, working full-time, looking to save money, but also get out a bit more! Team ups, I know exactly what i'm looking for and hope it suits you too! Ideally 3 bedrooms/flatmates including self, males or females (doesn't matter which), each with own ensuite or allocated bathroom that each individual is responsible for cleaning, flatmates willing to pay for a cleaner maybe once a fortnight to clean common areas/shared spaces, internet a must, bills split evenly, willing to create a cosy, comfortable home environment for all with the occasional catch up, but other than that independent working individuals who can hold a conversation, be respectful of space and individual needs. Hiring a cleaner is not a must, as i can use a vacuum and 95% of the time I tidy as i go, it's just i'd rather spend time having pillow fights and bonding with my house mates...haha just kidding, no-one actually enjoys cleaning right!? ; ) I work full-time in the northern suburbs so really want to keep cost down to between $180 - $250 so i can afford petrol and maybe contribute to savings, but am willing to pay a bit more for my own ensuite, parking space and being closer to the city. The other alternative is a larger house, with more flatmates that i am also open to. I like to relax at weekends as i work Monday-Friday in a school and it can be hectic. I have been getting in to exercise lately for health and although i like to read, love film and tv series, ten pin bowling, bike riding and ocassional cooking, i do not do them all regularly so don't really consider them hobbies. I love music, but am not a party animal, just a lot of fun when going out hehe : ) Contact me if you think we would make a good team up, or if you have a room that sounds i would match. Cheers! ; )
Hi, my name is Emma! I have recently graduated (double degree) and moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast to start my full time job. I'm very organised, clean, tidy, and love to cook (growing up in Singapore, I have gained some great recipes!). I'm fun to be around, yet still respect personal time. In my own time I like to hike/explore, travel, play sport (netball) and spend time with friends.
Me and my wife are both chilled out. Love to give privacy to others, but sometimes enjoy socializing and a few laughs. We will both be pretty busy with our schedules, so we will be out of your hair most of the time. We like to keep it neat and clean, so don't require anyone to pick up after us. Occasionally like to cook.
I'm a 32 year old town planner with an interest in architecture and old buildings. I'm pretty independent but looking for housemates that don't mind a chat over tea or a wine. I'm also a generally clean and tidy person and would be looking for a house that keeps common areas tidy.
I am a friendly, easy going, tidy housemate who is working full time (8am - 5:30pm) in Melbourne for the final 6 months of my two year graduate program. I am looking to find somewhere that is centrally located in order to enjoy all of what Melbourne has to offer, but also relish quiet down time as I have always lived in regional areas. I pride myself on being easy to get along with and maybe to share a drink with but also on being understanding of people needing their own space. I love adventuring and outdoor activities along with sport and a touch of socialising. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I am a graduate architect, working full time in a boutique office in Fitzroy. Still freshish to Melbourne, I relocated interstate 6 months ago and now looking for a nicer place to stay so that I can focus on some creative things. I enjoy occasional hangouts and chills with my housemates and I like to contribute to the house (food, plants, movie nights, drinks etc). No stress though. Fully house trained, I also previously managed a few share houses before. Flexible move in between July to August. Happy to team up (prefer apartment for teaming up) kwanchaklaw (a t) G ^^aa!l,c0m
Hello everybody, I am a student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in physics. I am from the northern Suburbs (Epping/South Morang) and am looking for a nice little place that will allow me to be closer to the university. I often work as a tutor, and I have a part time job at a restaurant. In my free time, I enjoy swimming/going to the gym, playing music (but not too loud!), reading, and watching good movies/TV. I am rather introverted as a person, and so I enjoy my privacy, but I am very friendly and enjoy a good conversation. If you think I would be a good potential housemate, please let me know!
Hey there! My name is Kate, 26, Irish and permanent resident here in Australia. I've spent 2 years in Sydney and almost 12 months here in Melbourne and loving it! Fairly active and enjoy the outdoors. I work in marketing for an alcohol company so there might be a few bottles of wine around the house :) I Like to cook, and socialise in the house, I'm clean and am looking for a house share with like minded people. Not looking for a party house but hoping for some good banter with the rest of the housemates!
Hi, I’m an Irish doctor currently living in Perth and am moving to Melbourne in August for work. I’m quite easy going. I love to cook and am looking forward to trying out the Melbourne restaurant scene! I’m quite active and keep myself busy but also like chilling out at home with a glass of red! Hoping to find a good base to explore the city from!
Hi everyone My name's Rocco and I'm a nerdy self-sufficient retail worker looking for a room to rent. I'm easy to talk to about pretty much anything and love hanging out from time to time. In my spare time I enjoy all manner games (video, board and card) and love to train in my martial arts. Happy to live with people who are friendly and easy going.
Hey guys! I moved from Canberra to Melbourne being freshly 18 and have been in between share houses but haven’t found a good group of people to create a little fam with. I’m looking to start a new share house. I’m house trained and clean and respectful of other people and spaces, but do want people who can hang together and have a good time. I work in a cafe during the day and bartender at night and tend to juggle around 50-60 hour weeks. I have an adorable cat who loves a good cuddle. When I am free, I’m into binging on Netflix, cooking, going to the gym and going on cool adventures. If you’d like to team up with me, let me know and we can create a new sharehouse :)
Hi all! My friend Kim and I are both here in Aus on working holiday visas. Looking for a private room that can accommodate both of us! We are very adaptable and flexible :) We like to buy take outs for dinner and just chilll over netflix. Please contact me if you are looking to rent out your room!
21 year old student paramedic. Been working as a retail manager for the past few years and volunteering semi-regularly . Sad to be leaving my current place but i'm keen to find housemates who like finding new burger joints and the occasional hike. With that being said, I also enjoy my alone time. I'm generally pretty tidy and pretty easy to get along with. Between work, placement and uni, i spend most of my time rewatching episodes of brooklyn 99 and finding any excuse to spend money on gigs. Financially stable and happy to split bills whichever way. Promise to supply your house with bad puns, lots of candles and plants that may or may not die. Look forward to hearing from you, Hodan xx
Hello Melburnians :) I'm an introverted and friendly performing artist/teacher/cat lady looking for accommodation for myself and my adorable ginger cat from late July. I am a happy, loving and down-to-earth person with straight-up honest values, and I have a solid disdain for dishonesty and bullshit. I enjoy reading, music, watching films, being active and being outdoors, yoga, meditation and all things artsy. I am a non-drinker and non-smoker. I work and do performance things, and generally keep to myself most of the time. Ideally I would love to find a granny flat, or other self-contained accommodation. Second choice would be a room with it's own bathroom so kitty can have an ensuite for her food and litter duties. Thirdly, I would choose a house with conscious, awesome individuals who actively participate in making the planet a better place. I will reiterate that I have no time or patience for drama and BS in my life! Budget around $200-300 p/w. I love the north but also flexible for the right place. Any leads are greatly appreciated!
Hi, I am clean and tidy and respectful of my surroundings. I Pay bills on time and respect personal space. I am not a party pooper however like a certain amount of quiet time, so a daily rowdy household wouldn't suit me. I also have 2 small rescue dogs (4 kilo's and 7 kilo's) that are my family and will adapt well into a caring shared environment, both of whom are friendly, protective of the home, not needy and toilet trained, with individual personalities.. They would sleep overnight in my room with me. I am a yoga instructor and a animal activist/ vegan. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne as I enjoy its vibe and love the city and its surroundings. I do have my own bed however no other furniture except for some kitchen wares/vacuum cleaner which I would happily contribute to the house and my of course my personal belongings. A granny flat would be perfect or a shared house situation with a backyard for the dogs to enjoy also. I have no preferred age of any flat mates, only that they like dogs and are friendly, caring and good natured. Also possibly helpful with information about Melbourne as I have a lot to learn and will need some time to find my way around and make friends.
