Hello everyone, My name is Bram, a 30 year old Belgian who's travelling the world. I used to be an investment banker but I really hated it so I quit everything and started travelling. I've just spend a year in NZ and now moving to Australia. I will be working full time in Melbourne for about 6 months and I'm looking for a nice place to stay. This can be a shared room, an attic, a garage or an iglo for all I care. The most important part is the people I stay with. I am a very outgoing person and very straight forward. I believe in honesty all the way which admittedly can be a bit much some times (no filter ;-)). I absolutely love music and I will have music playing all the time. I also play the guitar and I beatbox. I like sports such as climbing, swimming and snowboarding, but I recently discovered kite-surfing and I travel with all my gear therefore I will try doing it wherever and whenever I can. So a room close to the beach is definitely a plus. Oh and I'm a vegetarian and I absolutely love to cook for others and myself and I like to share ingredients and ideas! So if you are looking for a social, open-minded, honest and easygoing flatmate, then please look no further! At the moment I don't have an australian number yet since I won't be arriving untill the 22nd of October but feel free to contact me via mail or pm. Hope to see you soon!!
Aloha friends! My boyfriend and I are currently living in Hawaii looking for a place to live in Melbourne. We love to adventure and have a good time wherever we go. We also love meeting new people and just appreciating everything life has to offer. Rates are very flexible :) Although we are job hunting - we have saved more than enough funds to help us out while we settle. Please feel free to contact us at any time. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi, My name is Natalie and I am 37 years youthful, but can be a grandma at times too. Looking for a long term and prefer furnished (but can be flexible) around the areas of Glenroy to Moonee Ponds across to Thornbury/Northcote. Within a 15min walk to train station. Ideally I would a like an inclusive of Rent & Utilities around the $300 mark. I am neat and tidy and will keep the place presentable, but I am not OCD or a fan of a strict cleaning routine. I am a 9-5 office worker and outside of work I try keep fit at the gym most nights and wine and dine to chilax others. Weekends are generally running around doing stuff or just socialising. I enjoy people's company and would like someone outgoing that is home a couple of nights of the week for chit chat, but there are times when peace and quiet is called for too. I am an animal lover so pets would not be a problem.
I am the cleanest person I know and am hardly home over the weekends due to being on the road working as a touring Lighting Operater for bands and DJS. I like chilling out when i'm not at work and don't mind the odd adventure here and there. I have my own car which I would like to have a carspace for but am also interested in getting a bike to get around a bit more easily. My girlfriend is due to join me in Australia early next year so am looking for a master bedroom with an ensuite to start with that I can pay for then when she comes start splitting the rent with everyone in the house so lower rent for all is always a win. Would love to hear from anyone thats keen on a fun chilled out 25 year old that is keen to move to Melbourne to advance his career to the next step!
Hi there! I'm Jillian and I am from Texas! I recently graduated from uni with a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Spanish and I'm taking a gap year and applying to Master's programs for next August. I enjoy gardening, cooking, baking (fruit) pies, biking, exploring, coffee, beer, music, going to shows, socializing, staying in, social justice, etc. I have lots of experience working on events, catering, working in restaurants, working in social service agencies, everything really. I have friends in the area that I met through previous travels and I look forward to meeting more people! I've been in Melbourne since September, living and working in Brunswick. I would love to stay in the area if possible but I am open to other nearby suburbs. I'm looking for a place beginning mid-December or early January. I look forward to hearing from you!!!
We are both from Scotland, we are in Melbourne working after travelling down the East Coast in a camper van. Abbie works full time in the cafe at the Children's Hospital and I work part time as a draftsman for a company in Cheltenham. We both enjoy food, whether it is eating out or cooking at home, fitness, exploring new places and also just having a lazy day!
I'm a pretty easygoing, 35 year old lawyer who loves to cook, is fairly social and enjoys keeping fit, balanced out with a glass or two of wine and break out Uber Eats every now and again. I'm clean and tidy without being manic, like getting along with housemates and having good conversation. I enjoy living with most people, provided they are open-minded and have a good sense of humour! I've generally become good friends and socialised with the people I've lived with, but am also respectful of other people's needs (and my own!) for their home to be their sanctuary sometimes, and to be the place where you get to chill out!
Looking for a shared apartment or studio in south Yarra, Collingwood, Toorak, St Kilda, Brighton, Elwood, Caulfield, Elsternwick, Prahran, Williamstown and surrounding areas. I am usually out at work or study for most of the day, so won't be a problem for potential flatmate(s). Never missed a payment in the past. I cook most of my meals and train regularly, so your potential flatmate is a healthy bloke. Interested in teaming up too, just shoot a message to discuss possibilities. Move in immediately.
Hey! I'm a gq 24 year old Melb Uni student looking for a room or to start up a sharehouse I'm well housetrained after living in sharehouses for 4 years, knowing how to clean and respect communal areas, and be conscious of other people’s needs in a house. I’m also looking for similar in housemates. I love cooking/hanging w housemates so that’d be great but I’m flexible, I'm also vegan and queer. if anyone else in the house is that’s amazing but as long as you’re cool with both it’s perf. I study sociology and anthropology focusing on gender studies and digital ethnography so am a v social justice oriented person. If it sweetens the deal I also have a car for late night food runs/being a 3am pickup when ur too broke for uber and don't trust creepy old dudes on trams. Also I'm in temporary accommodation at the moment and have some $$$ saved so can move whenever works for you! I do have to be out of my current place fairly soon tho. I'm Trans/SW/Mental illness friendly too and want the same in housemates. If you wanna know more feel free to message me :) Have a great day!
I am looking for someone to teamup with to rent a 2 bedroom apartment within 15-20min of St Vincents Hospital, where I will be working as a graduate Nurse next year. I am looking at the $560 price point. I'm a easy going person and would like to find someone who is like-minded to live with, (ive had some shocking housemates over the years) I love the outdoors and animals (I have a cat that will come too). I am a closet geek and love Harry Potter. My cooking ability includes BBQ meat and veg or salad (thats about it). I enjoy a beer and occasional social gathering, but I am moving from Lakes Entrance and don't know many people in Melbourne. Any potential housemate would have to be ok with the occasional family member crashing on the couch for a night here and there.
I work in Financial Services in the CBD. I've traveled extensively and continue to travel. I've lived in the UK and have traveled through Europe and Middle East. I also try to see different parts of Australia. I enjoy meeting people, experiencing different cultures and open to new experiences. I travel back to NZ regularly to catch up with family and friends. I'm active, go to the gym most days, I like to think I'm independent, self-sufficient but am happy to ask for directions if I need. I'm looking for short-term accommodation starting end of Oct/Dec potentially longer if it suits flat mate and myself. In addition, I would prefer to stay with 1 person. I have furniture in storage, if possible I'll require a queen bed, drawers, double wardrobe and off-street parking. If I need to get furniture out I can. I'm clean and tidy as well as respectful people's space and privacy. I'm active so go to the gym most days. Happy to discuss further with potential flatmate.
Hey there, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Alaska and am looking to settle here for the year and work in the hospitality industry. I consider myself to be very respectful of others and my housemates, chill, sociable, and well house trained. I'm also fully capable of paying rent on time. I like a wide range of music, tea, making attempts at cooking dishes outside of my skill level, and going out for drinks on the occasional evening and weekends. Generally looking to live with others who are social and like to chill together in the evenings occasionally. I can move in any time! I'm preferably looking for something longterm, but am open to subletting if it's for 3+ months. Also would prefer the room to be furnished. No share rooms please! Feel free to message me with any other questions! Cheers, Trever
I am 27yo, I work full time , I am french (but staying long term), I like to keep myself busy doing muay thai, rock climbing, hiking, yoga. But also really enjoy to take some time off to chill with a nice glass of wine, plenty of cheese and good company :) Brunch on the week end is a must! Moving date is flexible
Hi. My name is Joe. Currently working part time. Looking for a short term stay. Quiet guy who loves to get up early. Enjoy walks and runs and the great outdoors. Don't mind having a chat about sport. If your looking for that quiet person, I'm your man. Love to hear fom you.
Sal and I are looking for a fun summer in the city of Melbourne. Would like to see the highlights of what this wonderful city has to offer. We love live music, outdoor activities but also like to enjoy a chilled night talking over delicious food and wine. I love to cook and explore new food options and well Sal loves to eat. We love meeting new people and easy to get along with. Hope we may get a chance to have a chat together.
Hi guys, I'm after a new place to call home! Ideally place that is clean, tidy and light. I would like to live with others who are friendly, respectful, mature and trustworthy. I am very clean and tidy. Also friendly, fun, respectful, considerate and down to earth. I will need to sign a lease or contract and the bond has to be lodged with the RTBA. I require a fully furnished room and a parking space. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm 28 years old and I'm moving from Adelaide to Melbourne. I work in ecommerce (pretty much making online shopping great). I'm really easy going, respectful and I always clean up after myself. I'd love to live in a house where we all feel comfortable to hang out together and look forward to seeing each other. I'm really into movies, music and also into my soccer. I mostly ride my bike everywhere and love to get out and be surrounded by some greenery. I also love to cook for more than just 1 so I'm always good for a house cook up!
Hi there, I'm Ronny, I'm a 30yo single professional veterinarian new to Melbourne. I'm originally from New Zealand and have recently lived in London for several years. I am looking for furnished accommodation with own bathroom. My location choices are a rough guess and very flexible. I'm also flexible with my move dates and length of stay as I have temporary arrangements. I'm tidy and respect others spaces, can work fairly long and variable hours, quite independent but enjoy a social flat. I enjoy travel, cuisine, reading and sitting down with a glass of wine or gin. Anything else, feel free to flick me a msg :) Cheers!
I come from Germany and I'm 18 years old. I would appreciate if my flatmate is also down to go out sometimes but doesn't have to be that way. Especially during my work and travel journey I like to have only those things I really need and to keep a certain order. So I would be pleasant roommate.
Hiya!! I've recently moved to Melbourne for work and am looking for a place for a minimum of 3 months while I get to know the city and find my feet here! I'm planning on being here long term and if the flat works out I'd definitely be open to staying longer. I work as an Account Manager for a technology company and love my job, I work usual hours (sometimes longer depending on my workload), Mon-Fri and am pretty quiet during the week although I am enjoying all of the delicious food spots that Melbourne has to offer. In the weekends I am enjoying exploring Melbourne, catching up with friends, brunching, lunching, shopping and I love the beach when the warm weather hits. I'm pretty chilled but am a bit of a clean freak and a very courteous flatmate. I'm always down for a good chat and sharing a meal and a glass of red with the flatties but also have a mutual respect for own space. I'm looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, and I'm an animal lover if you have a furry addition to the house. Given I've not long arrived I don't have any furniture yet so would be awesome if the room has some furniture but not the end of the world either. Ideally, it would be great to be near public transport while I find my way around!! If you have any questions or the perfect room get in touch:)
Hello potential housemates/house owners. Sarah and I (Talea) are moving to Melbourne next year as we are both starting jobs with the same company. We both studied at university in Brisbane and are excited to make the move down. We do not know each other very well as we have just teamed up to move together. We are hoping to find someone else to move into a house/apartment with us in Melbourne. Being near a train station is a must, we will be working in Docklands not far from Southern Cross Station so easy access to that is a priority. Also, we would prefer to have a non-smoker. We would both like to get a place that is less than $300 per week each, including all bills (e.g. internet, power, etc.) Other than that, read a bit about us below. My name is Talea, I am 20 and about to finish my degree is Business. I have spent the last few years living in house sharing accommodations so living with new and different people is not new to me. I really like sports and I am an avid rugby fan. Upon moving to Melbourne, I am hoping to get a cat so I that you would be okay with having one around the place. I am pretty easy going and like to have a laugh watching TV and movies. I also like getting out and about, especially playing sports and I hope to explore Melbourne a lot more when I get there. Also, I have a boyfriend of 3 year who unfortunately can't make the move with me but will be visiting often so you will get to meet him too. I enjoy spending time with others but I like to have space and alone time too so I won't be in your face. I hope to hear from you. I’m Sarah, I’m 23 and starting a job like Talea. For hobbies I like doing crafty things like knitting, sometimes arty things, I also like to read and bake. I’d say travel is my favourite but it’s not something I can do all the time, but I can still try new things here. I want to go explore Melbourne, and see what it has to offer, maybe do some hiking and stuff like that. For exercise I need a friend or to do social sports because I’m so bad at self-motivating. So, I’ll probably join some team or course. My current dream is to grow some plants without killing them, probably succulents because I’m a realist. I like to be friends with my housemates and I’m still really good friends with a few past housemates, but I’m an introvert at heart so you don’t have to worry about me suffocating you with always wanting to hang out. I’ve lived in different share house situations for about 5 years now, I know how to keep a place clean and split duties. So I’d like someone who is keen to hangout and have a chat at times, washes their dishes and won’t shame me for eating raw cookie dough.
Moving to Melbourne from Brisbane to start a graduate job in marketing. Enjoy a mix of indoor hobbies such as reading and gaming, and outdoor activities such as hiking and camping (recently went to Mt Everest Base Camp and the Fiordlands of New Zealand). I have lived in a sharehouse for the past year, and appreciate a very clean and well-kept sharehouse. I enjoy cooking and baking food at home and exploring cities looking for amazing places to eat out.
