Hi i’m Libby, I'm a young motivated lady who works full time in Recruitment. I love a good movie and chocolate session. i am currently study interior design as a hobby. I love cooking and meeting new people. I love my sleep as well haha. I will be moving to Melbourne in early 2019. If you would like to know more or would like to collab with me and we can get our own, send me a message.
I'm looking for a place to call home in the inner suburbs, ideally near the Cranbourne/Pakenham train line, but will definitely consider another location if the place is right. I'd love to find a couple of housemates that share my values and interests, somewhere we can build a cozy home and enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer. I love cooking, gardening, pets, caping, running, and building things... always up for an adventure. I'm respectful of personal space, but ultimately love sharing these experiences. So I'll probably bully you into letting me cook for you. I work full time as an engineer, so i'm out of the house from 8-6. I also travel interstate for work once a month, so I wont be taking up space for ~1 week out of the month. I'm LGBQTI friendly and open to all lifestyles, well travelled, and always up for a casual drink and banter. Shoot me a message if you think we might be a fit :) Alex
Hey! We are two housemates (plus doggo) looking for a third person to join us in searching for a place in the northern suburbs. We are mostly interested in Northcote, Thornbury, Coburg, Brunswick and Preston and would like to sign a lease in December. Ideally you are in your twenties with a steady job and looking to pay about $180-$200pw. We would like to live with someone who wants to make a house a home and get to know the people they live with, but acknowledges space is important :) obviously paying rent on time and cleanliness is essential. About us: Sofia is a 22 yr old actress & hospitality worker. She is a creative who loves to draw and play music, and is always down to watch a movie and have a drink. Alisa is 22 and works in education. She spends her free time cooking, reading and being outdoors. Is partial to a couple of glasses of white, but will be in bed by 10:30 haha. Neo is a sun-seeking, lap-sitting 7 yr old Greyhound cross who just wants chin scratches and belly rubs. He is a very good boy, with two references from previous rentals. If you're looking to move around December and we sound like a good fit, please message us so we can meet up :) Must be LGBT friendly and love dogs.
Social and respectful 32yo Dutch guy. Have lived in Melbourne for 5 years and looking for my next house after my current lease expires (my 2 housemates want to move out). I like socialising with my housemates, but value privacy and doing my own thing - I return that favour to my housemates. I definitely enjoy a breakfast, lunch or dinner together, going for a drink, or having some people over every now and then but am over big house parties :) I work in an office job with regular hours and find myself traveling a fair bit, both for work and for pleasure. I enjoy sports and head off to the gym multiple times a week and love running.
I'm a Londoner working as a freelance music events professional, looking to make a new home in Melbourne for the summer. I'm hoping to work through the Australian festival and outdoor music event season - something which has taken me to Glastonbury and the Croatian Coast in the past. I'm a huge fan of music of all genres and I am always trying to go out and support the local scene. Whenever I'm not working I am nearly always travelling somewhere, somehow, on some ridiculous budget, going out to watch music, cycling, going on hiking/nature weekends and hanging out with friends. I've lived in plenty of house shares in London, Cape Town and around Europe, so I can easily adapt and fit into any space. I prefer to live in a social, positive, clean environment with open-minded people where I can have a laugh and maybe polish off a bottle of wine or two. I'm planning to get a bike when I arrive in Melbourne so I'd like somewhere secure to store that. I'm an extremely liberal person and I'm attracted to people of all genders - you must be an accepting, inclusive household.
Hey there! My name is Abby. I work full time in South Melb. I own the most friendly and adorable red toy poodle named kumo, he's house trained and his breed doesn't shed hair. I am a dancer, go to church on Thursdays and Sundays and love to explore VIC when uni isn't so hectic. I am clean, a non smoker, don't really party hardcore but I am quite social. I am getting a car in the near future but im flexible with parking options. Ideally I'm looking for a place for me and my poodle. Cheers!
I like to think I bring a pretty chill vibe to a household. I respect other people lifestyles. I'm clean and tidy! I can be very social but also like my alone time. A chat over a wine or a beer is perfect!
Hi, I'm 34 y/o and a fairly low maintenance person. I've got PhD in Film Studies and I'm currently teaching a street art subject at Melbourne Uni. I like going out but I keep quite regular sleeping hours. I enjoy books, podcasts, films (obviously) and working out. I typically cook for myself, but I'm happy to share the odd meal. I have a fairly curious mind so I'm generally up for a chat about anything. I'm respectful and considerate of other people's space.
I'm small, sassy and sparkly ✨ I work 4 days a week in a government contact centre while completing my Master in Publishing and Communications. I love books! Talk books to me. I have a huge collection that I love to share around with friends and I love anything book-related. I practise yoga at home regularly, and I've recently got into running and try to do semi-regular races, with my first 10k coming up in December. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and I really value my health and fitness in general :) I also love dogs (especially greyhounds), Netflix, dumplings and red wine. I'm looking for a cosy home with a decent-sized bedroom so I can practise yoga in the mornings. I work in the city and study in Parkville so being central is important to me - I don't have a car so want to be close to a train station ideally. I'm pretty busy and don't spend all that much time at home but when I do I'll probably be in my room or chilling on the couch with a book/Netflix, cooking up something tasty or having a couple of glasses of wine with a friend. I like my home to be a relaxing space. I love to get dressed up, go out and have a crazy time but I don't like to bring the party home with me, so I'm not looking for a party house. I also value my alone time a whole lot and personal space is important to me. I've lived in sharehouses all my adult life so I know the drill. I'm tidy and quite clean, especially if there's some kind of roster in place. I like a clean kitchen and neat communal spaces. I've lived in my current place for 3+ years and I love it but the rent is going up and I’d like to be closer to the city. Hit me up if you think I'd work for your home!
I'm a lawyer based in the CBD and looking for a place close by to cut down my travel time. Currently in Caulfield, I'm looking to move into a share house closer to the CBD or easily accessible with public transport. I'm outgoing, bubbly, and love to have a cheeky drink on weekends (or anytime really), or alternatively just chill on the couch eating ubereats and watching footy / Netlflix. I'm clean, easy to get along with, and reliable in paying rent/bills. Ideally, I'm looking for a roommate (or roommates!) who are in their 20s-30s, are reasonably outgoing, and who are happy to chill out at home or head out on the town every now and then.
NOT INTERESTED IN SHARED ROOMS. I stay in dorm rooms when I’m travelling, but would like my own bedroom at home, thanks! 😳 Hi. I’m Maddi. 🤗 I’m 26, non smoker and don’t have any pets - but I’ll happily cuddle yours if you’ve got any! I always clean up after myself, pay my bills on time and am considerate of others schedules. I’d like roommates who do the same, but are also open to occasionally spending some time together. I enjoy going out to gigs and having a drink or two. But I’m also happy staying home for Netflix marathons. I’m currently studying Content Creation at Collarts in Collingwood (how’s that alliteration?), so I’m looking for a place nearby or with good public transport options. Would love to have wooden floorboards, but that’s obviously not essential. I just really enjoy that aesthetic. My budget is around $200 a week. Approx $870 a month. Can do a little more if the place is perfect though. Flexible with length of stay. Will consider short and long term options!
Hi. I am Chris and I am looking for a place in a shared house/apartment. I work full time as a public servant. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, reading and listening to music. I've lived in several share houses over the last 12 years and enjoy the social aspect of share houses. I'm looking for easy going sociable flatmates. As I work full time during the week, I would prefer a household that was reasonably quiet on weeknights.
Hi, My name is Maria Lucia, I’m 28 , I moved to Melbourne two years ago to do my masters in Sustainable Tourism at Monash University, and now I graduated and work full time so I am looking for a new place where to stay. I come from Colombia, I lived a few years in Europe and now I am loving living in Melbourne. I am the type of person who really loves going to events, festivals, shows and exhibitions, and Melbourne is the perfect place for it. I am often out and about, either for work or for pleasure but I also love to spend some quality time at home, cook good food and watch a movie. I am a very tidy and clean person, and I think that the public spaces of a share house should always be clean and respectfully treated. I am looking for a nice and cosy house, but also for a nice atmosphere at home with my flatmates. Please send me a message if you have a double room in a two or three-bedroom apartment. Only rooms with a window, please =) (what is the deal with rooms with no Windows here in Melbourne??) =)
Eh I bring nothing but chill kudos, and am happy to be a team player when it comes to chores. I prefer a tidy house and am not phased as to how you have your room. Also I don't smoke indoors.
Two pals looking for a room to rent. Hi my name is Lily and I’m a 5yo domestic cat. I’m reliable, quiet and come with my own toilet and personal servant to clean up after me. Peter (the servant) is a BFG, well giant compared to me. We’re super easy going and respect the people we live with. Somewhere close to public transport is perfect for Pete’s job and somewhere with a window is good for me.
I have been living in Melbourne for about 7 years and completed a Product Design Engineering degree. Originally I was a Gippslander and get back there from time to time to see family and friends. I have recently spent 5 months traveling through Europe and have gone straight back into working my full time job in the city. I'd ideally like to live a bit closer to the city this time around so that it's an easier transit to work. I have a lot of experience living in share houses. I am a respectful, clean and organized person. I have been told that I am mature for my age and pretty easy going. I am easy to communicate with and have a busy social life. I like to be around people but also am happy to do my own thing as i have many hobbies. My hobbies include music production (with my headphones on), photography, skating, and design. I work full time and can back myself financially. I'm also pretty handy on the tools if anything needs fixing! I am also a lover of all animals.
Moving from WA some time early 2019. Date isn’t set yet. Moving to study engineering at Melbourne Uni. Currently live in a share house situation and quite enjoy becoming friends and socialising with my housemates. I like to keep things clean and would like to live with people who are on a similar level to me.

Hello, I am looking to rent a room from November / December onwards (preferably long term). I work full time in the Community sector. I am respectful & trustworthy and always pay rent and bills on time. As I work full time, I have a pretty busy schedule. I am usually away or have something on on the weekends. Happy to live with either male or female. I am quite open with the location - anywhere safe and suitable in a reasonable distance to the city preferred. 😊
We are both 22 and from the UK, although not your usual backpackers. We are looking for a place we can call our own where we can enjoy a homecooked meal and a glass of wine on our balcony.
Hi everyone, My name is Eliza. I currently work full time in financial planning in Doncaster. I am a very tidy person and will always help out with any cleaning needs to be done. I enjoy my own space but will be great company for my housemate. I have lived in Melbourne for just over 4 years now! When i'm not at work I will be either at the gym training (i'm a boxer) or hanging with friends! I enjoy nights out but am just as happy to relax with a glass of wine and plenty of cheese! Please feel free to message me :)
