Hi, I'm Jeremy, I'm moving into the area due to work. Flexible with the move date, happy to move in earlier or later if I find the right place. Looking for min 6 months with the possibility of extension Bit about me: Busy IT professional working full time and working on a couple of personal side projects - Laid back and easy going - Definitely not a party animal. Not much of a drinker and don't smoke, but don't mind drinkers - Love movies, short courses, cycling, trying to exercise more - Landmark Forum graduate :-) Calm and level headed - Travelled overseas and lived with diverse group of people - Born and grew up in the lucky country - Prefer room for a bicycle (indoors in a bike cage or garage or bedroom) Quiet but social, easygoing, laid back. Not really looking for anything specific, just people I can get along with and have a chat with every now and then. Would be great if they're into cycling or movies. A movie/tv fan. No specific requirements with food. Prefer to organise my own, but more than happy to share food every now and then. Would prefer 2+ flatmates, but not a deal breaker! Can do 6 or 12 months
I'm Joanne from Malaysia and have been travelling extensively the past four years all over Europe, SEA, Australia and New Zealand. I LOVE rock climbing, surfing, cooking (and eating) lots of yummy food. I like being outside - I occasionally work as an outdoor instructor and bring kids out hiking, camping, climbing, kayaking and heaps of other fun things. Most of my time is spent being active outside, or just devouring books on a lazy day. I enjoy checking out music and art festivals and am currently enrolled to study Early Childhood Education so I'd be working with kids a lot. My biggest pet peeve is messy places, so I like to keep things tidy =) Dan is an engineer but not your usual engineer. He loves exploring and creating things - most of what he's done are art installations and he's ran a workshop on making musical pom-poms (for the lack of a better word)! He currently works full time but spends most of his time either brainstorming ideas for his new art project, rock climbing, and sailing. And oh, he makes great food and has amazing music tastes too. Great conversationalist! Joanne loves dogs, very house trained and easy to get along with and like being active! What we're looking for We've been living in Melbourne for about 2 years now, and our awesome house at the moment has recently been sold, hence the search! We preferably would like to live with another couple and either one of you have a full-time/part-time job. Ideally, you'd be 26 years or older. You'd both be looking for a home - we've done the share house thing, and have lived with all sorts of people. Where we're at right now, this would be a place you'd come home to chill-out, relax, have a glass of wine while cooking. Happy to chat should our paths cross. It will NOT be a party household. Extra points if you are a maker of things, a master of all things green/plants, creative, outdoorsy, artsy/musical, foodie! What we bring with us A plant jungle! Joanne's got a decent collection of houseplants, ready to transform any decent space into an awesome home =D And a handful of potted vegetables according to season (not enough to keep us from starvation, unfortunately). Furniture - we've got most of what's needed to start us off, so all good!
Hello! My name is Tennessee. I’m 19 years old and I’ve been living in sunny St Kilda after moving to Melbourne from Sydney back in January. I am looking for somewhere to live where I can feel at home. I am clean, respectful and a friendly person to live with. I am working starting a career in acting, auditioning for various film and stage productions. In the meantime, I work full-time in hospitality to pay he bills. Other interests include music, exercise, cooking and exploring this wonderful city. Hope to be living with you soon :)
I'm a laid-back Canadian who's looking to set some roots here in Melbourne for the next year. I'm quiet, clean and very respectful of other people's space. I'm not a big party person, but I'm very social and looking to make new friends. I'm currently a freelance writer and yoga instructor. I also have good references, if you'd like to speak to some of my past housemates!
Hey there! My name is Abby. I work full time in South Melb. I own the most friendly and adorable red toy poodle named kumo, he's house trained and his breed doesn't shed hair. I am a dancer, go to church on Thursdays and Sundays and love to explore VIC when uni isn't so hectic. I am clean, a non smoker, don't really party hardcore but I am quite social. I am getting a car in the near future but im flexible with parking options. Ideally I'm looking for a place for me and my poodle. Cheers!
I grew up in a large household, I have 4 older brothers and a little sister, (with not many space I might add, so I'm really concious about other people's comfort) and I went to a boarding school for high school. Besides that, I have always been living in a shared house after school. So, I have heaps of experience living in a shared setting. With this experience, I have met so many different personalities, so I have learned how to show respect and earn respect, and to live harmoniously and sometimes joyfullly. I do consider myself as a person that is neat and tidy, and most of the time I actually quite enjoy cleaning. I am looking for a place that is peaceful and quiet, although I am absolutely open to being social at times.
I'm a full time student who treats my studies like a job (in other words I keep regular hours). I'm a respectful, open minded, creative-natured and social flatmate, who enjoys being part of a house, rather than living in a house full of strangers! Originally from the UK, I'm studying to be a translator / interpreter and have most recently been working in the film industry in New Zealand and China for the last 3-4 years. My interests are fairly broad and I love to stay fit by cycling and swimming. If I sound like I could be a good fit in your house, please give me a shout! Thank you!
I am kind, reliable and space and noise aware. I am clean, tidy and thoughtful . I am regularly away for work (I am a flight attendant), but when I’m home I love: catching up on sleep (I do need a quiet room for that), listening to music, watching movies and cooking. Also I am social and enjoy going out for an evening or for a wandery bike ride adventure. I like to socialize with friends out and sometimes at home but I also love my own space. I am funny and fun and creative (especially Photography)......The perfect flatmate basically 😊 Ps my budget says $400, that is my absolute maximum including bills. I cannot move until early September. I need to be able to park my car close to or on the premisis. Thank you
Hi, My name is Jakksen, born here in Melbourne and love it but I've also traveled and lived abroad. Looking to move into a chilled house with radtastic folks. I currently work full time in Fitzroy, I am also a musician on the side which often fills my weekends, if not just a bit of gardening or shooting some hoops. I am really chilled, respectful to others lifestyle choices and get along with people very easily. I also consider myself neat and tidy, like a brew and a yarn and a cook up here and there. I enjoy reading, painting playing and writing music, not much into sports but I do enjoy watching soccer here and there with a sprinkle of playin' B'ball. keen to hear from you, kindly, Jakksen.
Hello there. I am an easy to be around, funny and clean person to live with. I am an extremely responsible person who is respectful of others, including personal and communal spaces. I like to keep my interactions light hearted and sincere and love to have a cheeky laugh. Currently working as a Nurse and in my final semester of full time study. As such, I am looking for a home that is quiet (so I can catch up on sleep) and easy-going (so I can get away with making a meal or having a shower at odd hours). I have a little dog with me, he is 10 years old, 7kg, non-shedding and a little legend. He is well trained, toilet trained and no trouble at all (he doesn't chew, scratch floor boards and doesn't rummage through the bin etc). He's like a lil Ewok. In my spare time I will be out and about with the dog, catching up on sleep, cooking, reading, watching a good tv show or just going for a drive to unwind. Looking for a home and plan on staying for the long term rather than short term. If you have any more questions, shoot! Cheers, Liv & Wookie
I'm pretty easy going, considerate, clean, respectful, friendly and relaxed. I'm looking for housemates who are similar. I'm not OCD but bathroom and kitchen cleanliness are really important. Workwise - After career-changing from the arts, I'm a software developer who works full-time. On weekends, I like to relax though I'm often catching up with friends, family or looking for something arty to do. I’m looking for a relaxed home where I can work on some creative coding projects.
I moved interstate almost a year ago and have been experiencing Melbourne ever since. I’m a full time bartender, and work some days also so I’m not home a lot but when I am, I like to cook, binge Netflix, or play with my cat. I go to music festivals, hang out with friends and explore new places and travel. I’m fairly laid back and clean. I have a year old cat who is so tiny and very cuddly. Ideally looking to start a new sharehouse in these areas with some cool people and have our own little thing going on but open to moving in somewhere if it’s suited. Move in date is flexible.
G'day there reader, I am full timer 9-5 working in the CBD ready to move to a new private room. I really enjoy a place where people talk, but totally respectful of spaces. I'm usually quite reserved around new people but once I feel safe I enjoy touching on many topics and chatting away. I like to be passionate about the environment and nature, have always been open to discovering music or movies and do love pets.
Hi there! I’m a clean and tidy. Not a party animal. I'm a full time student and part time working as a therapist(massage, beauty and holistic therapy etc...) I’m keen on traveling, yoga, meditation, work out, eating and drinking wine:-)
Easy going single woman, full time worker in health care, have a 7yo golden retriever named Henry; extremely placid, well trained, doesn’t even bark (who currently lives with my parents). Looking for an easy going household as well, that enjoy their own time as well as a chat and a vino. Not looking for a party house, although enjoy socialising. Looking for something available towards the end of August, date negotiable and also length of stay negotiable
Chilled out, super clean, happy couple. We have been living in our own flat for the last couple of years so we have accrued some furniture but we are looking to downsize and move into a flat share so we can save as much money as possible to go travelling next year. Not really into the party scene. Mostly happy with family dinners and movie nights! :)
Hey there! My housemate is leaving to start his own band(house) so I'm taking it as the opportunity to either find new people for our current home, or as the chance to move into a new share-house with some great people. I'm a digital marketer who loves podcasts, pizza and my dog Busta. We go for walks together around the Northside every day - yoga, meditation and cooking are also daily rituals. I'm flexible with bringing as much or as little furniture to a new house as needed, but ideally I'd love to bring my indoor plants wherever I go. Busta is also part of the deal - he's a very relaxed, well-trained 4-yr old brindle Staffy. At this stage of his life his priorities are: sleeping, sitting for snacks and looking for cuddles. As long as he has some pats and a patch of sun to sit in he's happy. And of course, if you need a friend on your walks he's your guy! I consider myself to be a really considerate housemate - I'm tidy, am slightly obsessed with my Dyson so pitching in with housework is not an issue, I recycle, and ensure I'm mindful of my housemates needs and vibe. I'm ideally looking for a long-term share-house that's a home and an opportunity to make some really great friends.
Hi. I’m Maddi. I’m 26, non smoker and don’t have any pets - but I’ll happily cuddle yours if you’ve got any! I always clean up after myself, pay my bills on time and am considerate of others schedules. I’d like roommates who do the same, but are also open to occasionally spending some time together. I enjoy going out to gigs and having a drink or two. But I’m also happy staying home for Netflix marathons. I’m currently studying Content Creation at Collarts in Collingwood (how’s that alliteration?), so I’m looking for a place nearby or with good public transport options. Would love to have wooden floorboards, but that’s obviously not essential. I just really enjoy that aesthetic. My budget is around $200 - $250 a week. Approx $800 - $1000 a month. If you’ve got a perfect place though I’ll consider more. Flexible with length of stay. Will consider short and long term options!
I come with a ready made family - two greyhounds! They're used to being outside when I'm out, and on their dog beds at various points in the house when I'm in. I'm studying at LaTrobe at the minute, and working in Craigieburn - when I'm not at either of those, or at my synagogue I'm usually out with the dogs, or going for a beer with mates. I'm pretty low maintenance - and I also have a waffle maker.
Hello, I work full time in the Community sector. Ideally would love a modern apartment / townhouse with a spot for my car (on street is okay)
I'm quiet, considerate, always pay on time, clean up after myself and am experienced in share housing. Moving from Perth to Melbourne on September 3rd. Will be new to the city, hoping to make some friends. Working in the fitness industry, so I like to keep active (but I do love my chocolate :p). I enjoy rock climbing, travel, dancing like an idiot, food in general and trying new things. *time period for the stay is flexible, 3 weeks minimum
I completed a Bachelor of Arts (psychology/philosophy) & Bachelor of Science (Developmental Biology/Molecular Biology) at Monash in 2017. I have recently come back from Germany where I did an internship at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. I currently work at a lab doing R&D. On the side, I'm working on my visual arts portfolio in the pursuit to exhibit my work. I like visiting art galleries, museums, biking, hiking, reading, travelling (can tell you all about my adventures through Europe), film festivals, classical music concerts, electronic music concerts. Don't mind a drink once in a while. Perks: I'm flexible with move in date. I'm also flexible with stay duration (minimum 5 months). I'm very clean, and like to have a routine (e.g. vacuum & laundry every Sunday). I cook delicious Mediterranean food and make awesome salad combos (I'm vegetarian). I don't watch TV and like to keep myself busy so I'm quiet. I'm a book nerd, and so I come with a small library (mostly philosophy & literature classics). I don't own any pets. I'm respectful and try to be non-judgemental, but I also expect cleanliness and safety at home. I like putting an effort in making a place feel like home (candles/incense, pot plants, etc) - but if you prefer I keep this to myself, happy to do so. Also, I don't need a car space! About you: Clean & tidy. Able to give me my space and allow me to feel at home. I love animals so I don't mind pets, but routine hygiene care is a minimum. Also a working professional or student. Sorry don't want to live with backpackers, but don't mind living with international students/expats.
I moved to Melbourne from Vancouver, Canada. I'm 24 and super organized, clean and respectful person looking to find a place to live for the next 6 months. I enjoy meeting friends for drinks on the weekend but also enjoy my quiet relaxing weekends. I'm looking for a furnished/unfurnished bedroom preferably with a private bathroom.
I'm friendly, relaxed, good around the house. I am a 21 year old worker full time at a Hospital . Respectful of other people's privacy but also pretty down to earth and willing to have a chat or a beer. Looking to move into a new home in August
