Hello, we are looking for a place to live because we have just moved from Adelaide lm studying law/international relations at UWS and my boyfriend is studying science at USYD. We are both non-smokers, only casual drinkers and are a friendly couple who were both born in Australia. We are looking for people around our age that like to be social as well and always up for a chat or a Netflix sessions. we have already lived in sharehouse situation on campus before so are used to living with other new people.
I am an easygoing person to live with, I clean up after myself and am respectful of others. I want to make the place I move into my home so I am looking for friendly and like-minded people. I am respectful of privacy and have lived in house shares before. I am a high school teacher and am moving to be closer to my job. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers
Hi. I am looking for a single room and is MAXIMUM 3 MIN WALK to station or bus stop. My budget is MAXIMUM $200 per week including all bills. Thanks.
Hi potential housemates! I will be moving to Sydney in February. I'm a medical professional so I work a lot, but I'd love to get involved in the social side of the house as much as I can :) if there's not that much of a social aspect to the house that's ok too - I do already have some friends in Sydney. I'm VERY clean and tidy, but not so bothered by other people's mess (within reason of course). I come with an adorable young toy poodle puppy called Luna - but please don't discount us as housemates because of the dog thing! She's tiny, doesn't shed hair, hypoallergenic, extremely well-trained (housetrained and obedience), quiet, used to apartment living and gets on well with other animals (not to mention she will bring you so much joy!) I also love cooking and am happy to participate in any shared meals or just share my leftovers with you. If you have any questions at all, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you. Cheers!
Super easy going and adaptable. More than happy to keep to myself and do my own thing or to engage with and be sociable with my fellow flatmates.
Nathan: i was born here with Italian heritage. I love sport in particular boxing and that is why a pursuit a career in the sport industry. Currently working at Sydney Olympic Park which is the best location for myself. One of my passions is traveling to different countries to see all the beautiful location this world can offer.
I'm a very neat and clean person. I work in a corporate bank, so I'm out all day during the weekdays. I consider myself to be a very social person and would love to share a drink or two after work or maybe watch some Netflix. I respect everyone's privacy and would expect you to do the same. I do smoke occasionally but never inside the house and I can assure you that it wont be an issue. Looking for working professionals or uni students in their final year so that we can understand each other better. I like my home to be a clean, calm and a comfortable place to unwind and chill out. I do enjoy a good catch up when it suits everyone else and I love to cook and when I get the time so that might be a bonus for you. Only interested in non shared private rooms with my own washroom or ensuite (NON Negotiable). I love pets even though I don't have any of my own at the moment and you are more than welcome to bring in your little friend along :-D PS: I really like the block of apartments available around Porter st, Belmore st , Junction st at Ryde and would be keen to start a house share for 2 bed 2 bath apartment
Moved to Sydney for work in the interior/event design industry and relocating inner west. I used to live in Manly with a great house and looking for something similar with a social and friendly vibe !
My name is Emily and I'm 24 years old originally from NZ. I'm a professional actor/singer/dancer who works many promotional jobs on the side to support my rent etc. I am a home bunny I like to keep to myself at home, mostly chilling in my bedroom but am always down for a casual chat. I am also very neat and tidy, don't cook often and I have lived in Sydney for 5 and a half years 😊 would definitely only prefer to live with 1 person - if not on my own!
Hi! I'm Karina, a full time student studying conservation genetics and part time barista. I have lived in a few house shares over my time in Sydney, so am very aware of the perils of house sharing, and hope to find a group of easy going and friendly house mates to spend the remainder of my time in Sydney with, and to ultimately make a few friends along the way. I am rather busy with my work and studies during semester, but love socialising with my housemates when I have the chance. I am considerate, quiet, tidy, and like to think I am also a pretty solid room mate. If you have a room available or would like to start a house share with me, great! I am fairly flexible with move in dates and stay, but am not interested in shared rooms
Super chill and like to keep the house clean and tidy. Mostly at uni and work so you won't see me around much, but I do enjoy occasional wine and catch up from time to time.
Hey! I am a Mechanical Engineer, and a born and bred central Queenslander, moving to start a new career in Sydney mid February and looking to find a place nearby to my work. I will be working in Granville, and am willing to live in the areas listed or similar suburbs. I'm looking to live with students or other professionals. I am clean, tidy and can cook well, and have a good choice of cookbooks for others to leaf through. Quite happy to split food costs with others, as well as household chores and cooking, I have done this before with great success. I'm also currently studying my Masters in Engineering Science. I like my own personal space but am friendly and don't mind a chat over morning coffee/brekky. I come with a Netflix account! I'm an avid home-brewer (I have won several bronzes, silvers and placed 1st and 3rd in state competitions!), I love brewing and am constantly striving to improve what I make, and love exploring the many different styles of beer. I own a 3-tap Kegerator, which holds 3x 20L kegs and I hope to continue brewing in Sydney. The brewery takes up a bit of space, but if worst comes to worst I can modify how much of it I need to fit somewhere with less space. I also love low and slow BBQ, and have my own smoker, and have used this to make my own bacon and American BBQ. I love making things, and have done my own sausages, bacon and other things. I know my home brewing requires a bit of space, and I utilize fridges for temperature control when fermenting - I do own a power-use meter and am happy to have this hooked up to monitor the costs of fridges, and to pay the extra costs to run this. I'd prefer to keep the fridges outside, so I can hose out any messes/spills! I'm also an avid gamer, and foodie. I enjoy multiplayer online gaming, and love food and cooking. I am willing to organise with other prospective housemates to get the best gear to the place. I own the following gear: - Washing machine - Dryer - Large double-door fridge (~520L) with freezer bottom - Projector and surround sound system - 55" TV - high-end NBN-ready modem I have left my preferred timeline at 6 months initially, as I am on a 6 month probationary period, however if all goes well at work, and we all get along, I have no issues extending that out! I also love dogs, I have lived with them most of my life and am open to sharing a place with owners. Lastly - I have let myself go a bit in terms of physical fitness due to long hours at work, but the new job looks to have shorter hours. A housemate who is a bit of a gym rat would definitely be favourable, I need that motivation for the first couple of weeks to get back into things. A gym partner would be fantastic! I eat fairly clean and don't mind cutting things out (to an extent, a cheat day is great for sanity!!)
I am a 25yo male who is commencing work as a Paramedic in the inner west. I like music, board games, video games and the beach. Keep to myself most of the time, but am more than happy to hang out for a chat/drink with some music. First time living in Sydney, will be moving from the Central Coast.
I'm looking for a third housemate to join my mate Austin and I in a house at the beginning of March. I'm employed full-time at a music shop (instruments, not CDs/vinyl), and do freelance media and radio work on the side. I'm tidy and keep to myself when the time is right, but I'm also really keen to find a housemate who's down to listen to tunes, drink some beers, have a chat, watch some B-horror movies. Austin is a psych student who works in a bar. He's a great guy who's super organised, and comes with a loveable, scruffy beard. We both have long term partners who'll be around sometimes. Primary qualities we're seeking in a housemate are somebody who's friendly, respectful, an open communicator, and who would be open to participating in household Taco Tuesdays. We're going to be joint leaseholders, and it would be ideal to find somebody who's looking to stick around for a minimum of 6 months. We've already taken steps to secure a place, attended inspections, and have a few homes in mind. We are a progressive pair and do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. of any kind.
Hi, I'm a student and a part time sales assistant. I'm out going and a neat freak. I respect people's privacy. I'm looking for a PRIVATE ROOM below $230 with all bills included.
We are a working couple. Myself, working at Macquarie park and fiancee working at Wynyard. Both of us start by 7.30- 8 am in the morning. We don't party in the house but don't have any problems with others partying. We are very friendly and respect personal space of others and expect the same.
