Hi, I'm Simon. I'm looking for a change and moving north from Victoria. I come with Buster, an 11 yo well behaved Jack Russell cross. I'm looking ideally to start a share house with one or two others. Buster & I have been living on our own for the last 10 years and keep things around the house very tidy. Buster is an indoor dog who spends most of his time when not walking curled up on the couch or on my bed. I have a small house but have all the furniture needed. We're looking for some clean tidy people who are happy to do their own thing or have a chat at times. Would prefer to do meals separately though can join together at times. Mostly like to keep fit and active but do enjoy a few wines on occasion/weekend. Long term will be working full time but will be having a couple of months off first to settle and use up some of my accrued leave. Will be in/around Sydney from 2 June - 14 June
I'm a digital marketer and a trader, so i'll be working mostly from home and Emilee will be on a working holiday visa. We're a very relaxed and easy going couple with a caffeine addiction :) we like to go out for drinks occasionally as well! Emilee loves to cook and we always keep things clean so you don't have to worry about that :)
I will move to Sydney in July (on the 15th or so) to take over an academic position. I have worked in an international environment for almost a decade now and had international links from a very young age. I am used to work and/or share my free time with people from all over the world, belonging to various cultures. I have lived in the UK since 2011, but I am from an Eastern European country. Happy to team up with someone who is comfortable sharing the flat/house in an equal, balanced, and respectful way. I prefer to live in a quiet and tidy place, where everything is in good order. Yet, I enjoy having a cheerful chat, listening to music or just guitar playing. I am a social scientist. My professional life has always been very demanding and busy. I often work at home (in addition to the time spent at the office). I am willing to pay up to A$500 per week for an en-suite furnished room, in a shared, executive-style, 2-bedroom flat/house, in Sydney area, if the right person is found.
Hello. . . . My name is Hannah and I am a 30-year-old professional. I'm moving to Sydney from Melbourne around the 15th of June for a full time Nanny job in North Bondi, seeking a home near here plus Dover heights, Tamarama and Bronte areas! Me: A lover of laughing, a terrible speller, amateur chef and pretty damn friendly. I’m social but I can also keep to myself (chill time) during the week (I work long hours), which may look like me reading in bed or watching an episode of something on my lap top (I have terrible taste). My social activities often include but not limited to, live music, art exhibitions, walks, being at the beach, exercise and eating out. I enjoy fitness, nutrition and keeping as healthy as possible. Running, PT and occasionally pilates before work or on the weekends. Im also a sucker for fish N' Chips on the beach and other delicious treats. I care about the environment, so composting, recycling, riding my bike and using my keep cup etc etc, matter. A veggie garden, composting bin or balcony herb garden would be grand. My home life is ultra important to me. Ideally ill find a household/home that is calm, neat and comfortable, decorated with thought and the inclusion of indoor plants, floorboards are preferred. I want to create meaningful and authentic relationship(s) with my housemate(s). I like to keep a house clean (having a cleaner come is also nice), neat and organised. I pay my bills on time and believe I am a reliable housemate/friend.
I spent a good chunk of my 20s doing space science research at NASA, after also obtaining my Bachelors in the USA, which helped me develop my passion for interdisciplinary space science research. I will be getting my PhD in astronomy end of August (hopefully) here in the US and then moving to Sydney to start an awesome postdoctoral job at UNSW. I expect to be away every few weeks to take a trip to the Anglo-Australian telescope while there. I presently live in Washington DC, the Capital of US. I also grew up in Japan and love anime and speak fluent Japanese. But I have spent my entire adult life in the East Coast of US, surrounded by a lot diversity, and thus consider myself to be a highly multi-cultural being. That being said, this will actually be my first time in the southern hemisphere and I want to live with housemates as a) I am used to living with awesome housemates now, b) as someone new to a country with no family and friends, I need to make my own family and friends and c) I am highly allergic to dust and cockroaches (roaches don't exist where I live in the US - we blast our ACs here...) so I need to live with someone who will mutually share a responsibility of keeping the place clean with me. Since I will be moving end of October to Australia, when it gets hot, I am ideally looking for a place with air conditioning available during the summer and since I won't have a car, I am looking to live close to UNSW campus, preferably east of it due to not wanting to live in the inner city (I hear that's where the roaches are...) Also I am willing to pay max up to $400 per week only if that amount include utilities. I will get paid pretty well at my new job but I have student loans to pay in the US (so do most people who get higher education degrees in the US), so I have to spend my money pretty conservatively while in Australia.... Besides roaches and summer air conditioning, the other thing I am picky about is smoking. In the US, we have strict smoking control, which is great for someone like me who suffers from asthma. I hear that kind of control is not a thing in Australia....I am fine living with smokers, as long as the smoking happens outside the house. My appointment there will last at least 2.5 years so if all works out between us, I will be happy to live at your place for the full duration. On the other hand, while I indicate I am looking for a place for at least 12 months, I am okay just starting up with a 6 month deal. I understand I am new to the country and things may not work out at my first place for whatever reason. Lastly, I love decorating and I can pretty much talk about anything.
G’day. Alice Springs, NT kid turned Melbourne model turned Byron Bay film student turned creative Sydney-sider (almost). Extremely easygoing gal seeking room in share house with lovely (non racist) people. Really looking forward to city life again- art, museums, more food choices- so up for housemate adventures but also will be working lots and love a quiet night with a doco or book in my boudoir. A decade of share house experience so very conscientious. I have a king size bed so looking for a decent sized room ideally with a big window for lots of natural light. Hoping to find some likeminded people to make a home with.
I have a passion for the arts, and a passion for humanity. I’m chill and value my alone time and self company, but adore cooking feeds for the house. And a sneaky bev at the end of the week doesn’t go a miss. I’m waiting to move into my home which is available on the 22nd of Jul— so looking for a short term stay!
