Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and enjoy gardening and adding some green touches! I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
I'm moving from Melbourne to Canberra in Feb 2018 for a Grad Program. I'm looking for shared accommodation in Belconnen or surrounding suburbs (within close proximity of public transport) in Feb. I enjoy binge watching tv shows and exploring new brunch spots! I’m a tidy person by nature, respectful of personal space and privacy but happy to socialise too!
Looking for a home for myself and my Kelpie Beau, we are moving back to Canberra after living in QLD. I have a job transfer with work full time Monday-Friday as a Case Worker. I adopted my dog Beau from the Animal Welfare League, he is 6 years old and is my running buddy. He would prefer a backyard to chill in during the day (doesn't need to be a big space) and prefers to sleep with me inside at night if possible. Happy to negotiate options, for example in my current home Beau sin't allowed in the living room which has new carpet and he understands this rule. We both have references too. Beau is a super friendly dog and loves cuddles with everyone. He is very well behaved, he is not destructive and loves the company of other furry friends. I enjoy spending time outdoors running, hiking and camping. I am social and love a chat, I am neat and tidy and happy to contribute to cleaning the house regularly. Please get in touch if you think your place might suit! :) Cheers Gemma.
My name is Michael. I'm 19 and have recently finished high school. I mostly do self study online with casual work at Kmart and Deliveroo. I'm pretty quiet and tend to keep to myself but I do enjoy good company and like going out on occasion. Most times you will find my at my computer either studying, working or playing games. My cooking skill is unfortunately limited to eggs, toast and instant/ canned food but I am willing to help around the kitchen.
Hi! I'm Vin, I graduated from ANU last year and now work part time as a plant science technician at ANU, and as a swim teacher in the afternoons. When I'm not growing mutant plants or teaching kids how to swim, I like to kick back with a wine or cider and a good conversation or some Netflix. My passions include teaching, cooking, dancing and being active. I also enjoy playing board games, trying out new brunch spots on the weekends and going on hikes/picnics. I am a very organised person and value cleanliness. I am quite social and easy going, but also appreciate my space and privacy sometimes. If this sounds like your ideal housemate, please get in touch and we can arrange to meet for a coffee!
We are a quiet married couple, both 25yr, who love to read and spend time outdoors. Peter works with computers, and Ryl works as an ecologist. We enjoy cooking, gardening and cleaning. The rent suggested is negotiable. We would love to live with someone who has a pet or two. We have some furniture that we can contribute to a house: a bed, a couch, two bar stools, study desks, gardening tools, kitchen equipment. Our kitchen equipment includes a pasta machine, bread machine, slow cooker, blender, and a poppy-seed grinder. Alternatively, we can leave most of these things behind, in order to save on space. Curtin is our preferred suburb to live in.
Hello! Working part-time whilst studying in IT looking for other roommates to share a house with. I'm a chill housemate, neat & friendly always up for a drink or two. In my spare time I would either be on the Playing guitar, hanging out with mates or out on the motorbike.
Mature, easy going, quiet but not boring, friendly but happy with my own company. Interested in social justice but not a rabid lefty and passionate about animals. Currently living south of Canberra in NSW but looking to move back into town. My move date is flexible as I am welcome where I am until 23 January I really enjoy walking, movies, iview and SBS on demand, craft including pottery, being out and about at markets or galleries or in for a quiet evening. Travelling to Sydney, the coast and farther afield Reasonable cook who likes to try new recipes particularly after a recent trip to Spain and the UK/Ireland. I have my own bedroom furniture which I would like to use. I also have my own lounge room furniture which can be stored on the property or used. Storage would be a bonus. No white goods but happy to purchase if necessary. No children.
NS/ND who would like to live in a quite place in the belconnen area. I'd prefer to live with an owner (the inherent stability), or longer term stay, and I'd prefer an all inclusive rate. thanks
I have been living in Canberra fort the past 3 years. I am currently studying at UC, and working part-time in retail. As final year students moving into graduate studies and transitioning into the working scene, I am really after a peaceful and well-located property to live in. I have been living at my last property in Phillip for the past six months, where I paid a rent of $380 per week. I plan on paying our rent from part-time employment income, savings.
I am a recently graduated high school student from Queensland. I am reserved, yet friendly and always looking to get along with others. I respect others space and privacy and will not be a nuisance to a household. I am also willing to adapt and change to circumstances if new challenges arise in the future. I don't drink or smoke and prefer to live a healthy lifestyle. I am fully intent on studying and acquiring my bachelor's degree from the Australian National University.
Hi! I’m Tora and looking for someone to be the Rachel to my Monica! I’ll be moving to ACT for a Masters course at ANU and would love a room mate. I’m super organised, laugh at my own jokes (and occasionally other people’s) and just like the company of others. I can’t cook to save my life but I’m FANTASTIC at ordering from Menulog 👌🏻 I’m doing first lot of house inspections in ACT Sat 13/1 with more to come. Can’t wait to meet my future room mate!
Hi! My name is Chenkun and I will be moving to Canberra for graduate work in the APS in late January this year. I'd love to team up with someone and make great friends while living together. I am a clean person but don't mind having pets around the place. I am usually quiet but will always enjoy a nice chat to my housemates. I look forward to moving to Canberra soon!
I am a university student in my final year of study at the ANU. I work part time in Belconnen so I am pretty busy throughout the week and on weekends I am usually stuck in the books with assignments and study. However, I try to still be a social person by getting outside and exercising or catching up with a few mates. I am a very tidy person and I am respectful of other peoples space and would expect that in return. I am looking to find some easy going people that don't mind having a beer in a place that is close to either work or uni. If you would like to know anything more about me just flick me a message. Cheers
I am clean and tidy. I always pull my weight with house work and pay my bills on time. I enjoy cooking, baking, craft projects, board games and curling up with a book and a cup of tea. I am often up for a chat but also like my privacy.

Probably considered a 'tidy' person, I'm respectful of others space and ensure I maintain a clean home. Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm starting a new public service job in Canberra in early Feb so I'm looking for a new home. I'm from Melbourne, and am planning on heading up to the ACT late Jan, but can be flexible and come earlier if that works too. I like the outdoors and the snow, bushwalking and running and I'm looking forward to exploring some of the cafes around Canberra. I'm fairly quiet these days, I don't drink, so I'm not looking for a party house. However, I'd love a chat and a coffee with my housemates. I love cats, so if you have one that's a plus!
I am neat, tidy and mostly happy to keep to myself though I do enjoy a drink in company now and then. I spend a decent amount of time on the computer as I am a bit of a nerd. I'm not a huge socialite but will do my best to fit in amicably. Currently I work in retail but wish to begin something more fulfilling.
Hi guys, I'm moving up to Canberra from Melbourne on January 31 to start a job with the Immigration Department. Looking for a room in the Belconnen/Inner North area. Not my first sharehouse experience having shared while at uni in Canada and while working in Italy. I'm pretty easy going, happy to hang out, have a chat, share a meal/drink but also respect your space. I like to cook and spend my free time mountain biking, playing soccer/basketball or just hanging out. I have a car but not too fussed about off-street parking, but I do have 2 mountain bikes I'd need to lock up inside a garage or shed. If you've got a room and think I'd be suitable I'd love to come check it out and have a chat.
Hi! My name is Manpreet and I'm a 23 year old that works full time in public service. I am a friendly and easy going person, and have lived in share houses before in both Melbourne and Canberra, so I make sure to clean up after myself and respect others' privacy. I am also studying part time, and therefore prefer a quiet place. That being said, I do enjoy chatting with housemates and being friends. In my spare time I love going to the gym, hiking, reading and watching some quality Netflix. Message me if you're interested and I am also keen on teaming up :) I am available to move in at the end of February.
I am an ANU student and work part time in a bar in Barton. I am friendly and easy going but also a respectful housemate. I enjoy cooking, hanging out over a glass of wine and travelling back to Melbourne to see family whenever I get a few days free. Ideally I'm looking for a 6-12 month arrangement available from late January.
Hi, there. I come from China, and now as a visiting student in ANU, Canberra. I want to find a house and move in mid Feb, 2018. I will stay about 10 months or longer. Perference: the house near ANU North Gate. I work long hours during the daytime and like to relax at home in the evening. I try to keep fit and do the exercise like jogging and swimming, or just sleeping in my room on weekends. I'm easy going, quiet and clean.
Hi, my name is Lockie. I'm a 21 year old professional who's just finished at ANU and am moving out of student accommodation. I am a relaxed, friendly and independent person, who is tidy and respectful. I love talking about movies, as well as playing board games and video games (although I can't say I'm very good at either). I'm looking for long term accommodation in the Canberra region.
Hi there! My name is Laura. I'm a second year psychology student at ANU. I am studying full-time and will be working part-time during my stay. I will be returning to Canberra in early February. I am looking for long-term accomodation, preferably over a year. I'm looking for accomodation that is walking/bike distance from ANU campus, or has nearby bus-stops. I've lived in shared accomodation previously. As a housemate, I am clean and tidy, reliable and respectful. I am an open, sociable and easy-going person. I'd really love to get to know the people I'm living with. Aside from study and work, I love to read, listen to podcasts and watch documentaries.
If you don't mind having a clean, quiet, respectful roommate, contact me without hesitation! I love playing sports on weekends, I also have a PS4 for alt relaxation. About me: I am a third year Software Engineering student in ANU, averaging D with couple HDs in grades.
I have moved to Canberra from Sydney to start my new career. I am working in Macquarie so ideally would like to be living within walking distance from here, or a short bus ride. I have lived in Australia for nearly 4 years, after moving here from England. I enjoy socialising, watching tv, the gym, travelling, cooking, festivals, and the odd glass of wine. Looking for fairly sociable housemates due to not knowing anyone in Canberra, but I respect others privacy. I like to live in a clean/tidy-ish home, a place to relax in after a long day at work. I am currently staying somewhere short term until February/ March time. Interested in 'teaming up' for an apartment too, just don't currently have any furniture!
