Hi there, my name is Bridget Pearl. I am a recent heritage and conservation graduate from UC who is looking for an existing share house to move into. Originally from Melbourne, I have moved to Canberra first for my course and now for my part-time position as an apprentice cultural heritage conservator and for my other retail casual position. I am a positive, bubbly being who likes to read, draw, cook and travel! From living previously in a share house on UC campus I understand such things as respect for home and privacy and like to live in a tidy and friendly environment. Looking forward to hearing from you, Bridget
I am about to start my PhD program in Ecology and Evolution at the ANU and have multiple interests. I will be landing in Canberra on 11 February. As I will have a range of fieldworks in the second semesters, I am not sure if I will be able to keep a place in Canberra from July on yet - but let's say I am looking for a long term accommodation. Despite the science, I like to spend some time developing my abilities in languages, music, literature, arts and dance as hobbies (sporadically). Currently, I have been embracing the practice of physical training weekly. Although I was raised in the countryside of Brazil, influenced by a traditional culture, I identify as an open person and love to learn from new experiences. My friends usually describe me as an independent person, with a nice taste for music, creative and communicative, however, with a funny need for being at least some time alone each day. I like travels and learning about other cultures from usually strange people. I never do anything that I do not feel secure/ready at doing, thinking about the consequences. I am tidy, easy going and respectful. If you like (the amazing) Brazilian food, we can share some in the weekends. :)
I'm moving up from Melbourne as part of an APS graduate program on Jan 30th so will be looking for place from then. I like hanging out, brunching, keeping active, playing sport and occasional netflix binge in my spare time. I like to think I'm easy going tidy but not OCD, and fairly chilled - don't hesitate to message if this sounds like your type of flat mate.
Hi, I’m Sam, a 27 year old fulltime public servant looking for a new share house. I’ve lived in share houses in Canberra’s inner north and south for the past few years. I’m easy-going, tidy and happy for an after work chat or drink. After work and on weekends, I like to check out cafes, restaurants and the sights around Canberra, catch up with friends and watch Netflix. If you have a place or would like to team-up or know more about me, please feel free to get in contact.
Hey all! I am an international student from Hong Kong and will be studying in ANU. I am moving alone so I don't know anyone in Australia/Canberra. I am a respectful and down to earth person who is a bit quiet at first but can be fun to talk to when I get to know a person. I like watching movies, reading, listening to music, napping on a beach, exploring new places, eating different kinds of cuisine, local street food and having a few drinks with friends. I don't smoke and I don't have pets. I am a tidy person and don't make noise. ***My preference: I would love to live with people who are friendly and tidy (please feel free to contact me even if you are just looking to team up). Flat-wise I prefer a place within walking/bicycles distance of ANU, or with easily accessible public transport nearby directly to ANU. I don't mind sharing bathroom but I prefer to have my own furnished lockable room in a neat and tidy house.
I have just moved to Canberra from Tas for a Grad position. I am pretty laid back and easy going, but I'm also a fairly tidy person. I appreciate down time and having your own space but I am also always up for socialising and adventures. I love heading to the coast for a camping trip or going out on walks.
Currently a third year Economics/Law student at ANU. Just came back from exchange in Singapore so looking for a place to stay for the remainder of the year. Will be spending the majority of my time at university but I am very sociable and considerate as a housemate. Cleanliness is a priority for myself and as such I can guarantee that both private and shared spaces will be well kept.
Originally from Brisbane, just moved to Canberra with the public service. I am laid back and on the more sociable end of the spectrum so I'm not the type of housemate to be locked in my room all the time.
Hi There, We are Banner & Angie and are moving to Canberra in Feb 2017! Banner is returning to Uni this year to study his Masters; Angie works in the non-profit sector and will be working full time. We are neat and will keep things tidy, but also not OCD about your cleaning habits. We enjoy cooking, keeping active, reading, exploring, eating out on occasion ... Overall, we are very easy going and accepting and are looking forward to a new adventure in your town! Please consider us :-)

Hi I'm Jack, I'm currently looking for accommodation in North Canberra to commute into the ANU where I study PPE/Law. I also work remotely as an administration assistant. I'm originally from Newcastle and my hobbies mainly include reading, walking, learning foreign languages, travelling and generally talking to people about the big issues and the small. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to common areas as I really hate annoying people and have a good history of getting my rent in on time which I can provide. In terms of how I relate to flatmates/housemates I'm pretty flexible, always happy to hang out but also enjoy alone time and respect when others want it. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me on my mobile. Cheers, Jack

Hi, I'm Grace! I've moved to Canberra from Perth to start work with the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet I'm looking to share a place somewhere in the inner South or inner North. I am clean and tidy. I enjoy going for walks, reading a good book and photography. I am looking forward to getting to know my housemate, but also understand the need for personal space and alone time. Ideally, I would like to share with someone I can share an occasional meal with. Am looking forward to new experiences and meeting new people.
I'm currently working full time in the city and would like to find a place walking distance to work. Outside of work, I dance a couple of times a week and may try to fit in other activities. I'm organised, clean, respectful and pretty easy going. I enjoy some private time after work but equally enjoy sharing a meal and unwinding the day together if you are up for it.
Hi all, my name is Siddiq Mohamed. I am 18, and I am currently a student (going into my second year) at ANU, doing a Dual Degree in Information Technology. I am generally an easy going person, as well as out-going, and fairly social. Easy to get along with too, or at least I would think. For fun, I enjoy reading, watching interesting shows, drawing, as well as writing and love literature and music in general. Mainly looking for a house share, no more than three or four people at the max, and hopefully no more than around 20 minutes by walk, or a short bus ride to ANU. Clean, Neat, Tidy, Friendly, Non-Smoker, Non-Drinker.
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra to start an APS Graduate position (full-time). I'm easygoing and quiet but sociable. A big fan of live music, red wine, cooking, reading and watching lots of TV/movies. I also enjoy hiking and snowboarding. I'm happy to go out, stay in, share a meal, chat, or relax by myself and give you space :) I'm tidy and organised, and by all accounts easy to get along with. Looking to live with 1-2 other people in an established sharehouse or to setup something new! I'd like to complete my move by Feb 13th but I'm open to moving from the start of February.
I’m Haynes, 23 years old, and from Melbourne! I’ve just landed a full-time job in the APS and I’m moving to Canberra in January. As it's my first time living in Canberra, I’m keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I don't have any pets or dependents & I'm interested in securing long-term accommodation. Things I like: - Food festivals - Films - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - 80’s music - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or universities – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
Hi guys, I'm a local professional looking to start a share apartment, preferably two room two bath. I like my own space but am also quite sociable, and would be contributing a significant home cinema space for the ultimate Netflix nights. I also like to head out for some socialising on the weekends, and spend most of the week focused on my fitness. Prefer to live with women as that's what I'm used to but happy to live with guys too if we hit it off. Walking distance to the city is my preference. I have a motorcycle, so while I wont be using much of it, secure parking is a consideration. Also just completed a design degree and will be looking for places with NBN connection.
Hi, I'm Kai and moving down from Sydney as a grad in an economics related field. I love to check out cafes, listen to indie and jazz music, read, and play board games (I have a growing collection that is just asking to be played). I'm also learning German and French. I'm keen to hang out and socialise, but I'm equally happy relaxing at home. I have shared happily with flatmates for almost a couple of years now. I'm friendly and keep things in a clean state. Looking for a share place that's pretty central in Canberra. Please feel free to contact me!

I'm moving to Canberra for a full-time public service job. I'm looking for a share house in the inner north. I'm flexible with move dates, but I want to have a place before I start work on 6 February. While I’m an active and social person, I’m also a considerate housemate. I’d like to live in a social house where we occasionally enjoy a shared meal/drink/Netflix binge but also respect each other’s space. I currently live in Sydney. I can quote episodes of Broad City, IT Crowd and Arrested Development pretty much line for line, if you're into that kind of thing. I like hiking, reading, live music, podcasts, yoga and good food/coffee. I also love cooking. I’m always looking for people to eat my baked goods so that I don’t eat them all.
I'm a full-time student moving from Brisbane after just finishing degrees in Engineering and Science at the University of Queensland. I'll be starting an Astrophysics PhD at the Australian National University (Mt Stromlo Observatory) in March. I'm very chilled out, mature, tidy, not easily annoyed, enjoy having friendly chats, and exploring all that Canberra life has to offer! I like to keep the house clean, and am very respectful of others' personal space. I'm also pretty light-hearted, and enjoy socialising and having a laugh. I'd be most interested in living with other like-minded students, but also enjoy interacting with all different types of people.
I am a International Studies graduate moving to Canberra from Brisbane to start an APS graduate program (full time work) in the beginning of February and am looking for a room in an apartment/unit/townhouse, preferably with a female roommate (20s-30s). I am organised, clean, pretty quiet and respect the importance of privacy but also would love a roommate to sometimes chat and hang out with after work (over a glass of wine or a movie/netflix) Love to be social on weekends and having people over for dinner or going away on a day-trip. Other things about me: can cook, have lived overseas, am a cat lover, and am into fitness and snow-sports. Happy to bring any furniture or appliances needed! NB: I have an older Burmese cat I would love to bring down with me but its not a requirement.

I am a mature, clean, non smoking male, I am willing to help with chores round the house and will be travelling home to country Victoria once a fortnight. I am traveling now so I cannot visit the place but I am very friendy and easy going so I can easily hang out with people. I would like to have a place that feela more like a family that anything else, or at least that is what I am used to. I hope everything is going perfect for you. Cheers,
Hi all, this will be my first interstate move and it is both exciting and terrifying. Im an easy going, open-minded guy, moving from Adelaide to begin a B. Languages at ANU. I've previously done my BSc, Honours and started a PhD, but that fell on its face so now im looking to change it all up and do the arts degree I always wanted but my parents didnt :D Im not only into science but I love ancient history, anime, gaming (consol/pc; roleplayed a smidge), horror movies, languages (Francophile), politics and a bunch of other stuff. I enjoy great conversations (w/wo drinks/cheese platter), even if its just me listening to someone else's area of expertise. Im respectful of others privacy, I know i like my alone time just as much as any one else. Dont have much to bring with me, bed (queen; but can get double), bookcase (with books and trinkets), ps3, desk, chest-of-drawers if needed. But given limited space, I can condense. I travel light, and am still equally excited and terrified to move.
Hi everybody! We are a couple travelling the world to learn more about living in other cultures and meeting new people. We're searching for jobs in Canberra. The plan is to stay here for at least a few months, maybe longer depending on whether we find a job and how we like it. We are used to living with roommates since we had a house in Belgium that we shared with three international students and we always had the best of times. We are used to taking lots of responsibility in the house. Don't hesitate to send us a message to ask us more info! Greetings! Eline & Niels
Hey there I'm Arshia and I'm from Melbourne! I'll be starting my Masters at ANU in February so I'm looking for a private room in Canberra to stay in for this year (though I'm willing to stay in places with shorter or longer leases). I have a pretty laid back personality and I like living in a clean and tidy place so I will happily contribute to chores to make sure it stays that way! I'm also a really social person who loves nights out (or in), or even just chatting every now and then over drinks :) Look forward to hearing from you!
I moved to Canberra last January for work where I got a job as a public servent who works full time (mon-fri). I am a person who likes to keep to them self but also enjoys hanging out with people. I also enjoy cooking, watching movies/TV, playing video games and just relaxing. Thanks for reading.

Hello! I'm currently studying full-time and working part-time at Apple. I a have keen (really goes without saying in Canberra) interest in politics and current affairs. I'm a medical physiology/neuroscience major and dabble in Not-for-profit organisational work too. In my free time I like to bake, rewatch runs of RuPaul, read, or hike up one of the surrounding mountains. I'm clean and respectful with no fear of the dishes or bathroom cleaner. I would love a place where we can share a meal or drink every now and then but also appreciate each other's space.
Hi my name is Jedd, I moved in from Adelaide shortly before Christmas. Im working a really steady roster at JBHiFi in the city centre but I'm also studying VFX and Animation in Watson, and undertaking an internship in Acton at the Film and Sound Archive, so a place near the city or with good access to it is a must right now. I'm very clean and polite. I can cook for a group and I come with a staff discount at JBHiFi if we need to upgrade any ammenities. I like to get out a bit, either for drinks or the odd walk/jog, when it's in the budget I wouldn't mind joining a gym either. As far as hobbies, I'm big into both awful and good movies, comics and video games, I spend a lot of time illustrating too! I love pets if you have or want to have any, I have history as a pet/house sitter so people can vouch for me if you need it. I don't sweat the small stuff so I doubt theres any chance of friction living together. I'll be out of the house a fair bit anyways with all my commitments, but I'd love to be mates with whomever I lived with If you have any questions for me feel free to call or text me, I'm working till 5:30 most days though so apologies if any of my responses are delayed at all. I check my emails at lunch too! Cheers!
I'm moving from Sydney to start postgrad study at ANU first semester this year - I'm flexible with my moving date. I'm a mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am looking to get involved in a new club/team once I move. I'm a music fan (the non-snobby kind), and love to attend big concerts as well as local gigs. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
hey there! I am looking to share rental accommodations. I am originally from Sydney, commencing work with ACT health in late Jan. Please contact for more details :) Thankyou!
Hi, I am currently living in Turner and looking for somewhere short term (4-5weeks) starting from Feb. Please get in touch if you have a room, and I would be keen to meet up for an inspection when possible. Cheers!

Hey, I'm moving from Perth to Canberra at the end of January for a graduate job as an economist. As such, I'm looking for a new place to call home. I'm a relaxed 23 year-old who enjoys a good chat and a beer or two, but I also enjoy relaxing in my free time. I would describe myself as a cheerful individual who is easy to get along with. In my private time I enjoy playing sport, watching sport and travelling. Hit me up if you're interested in me joining your house!
I like cosy spaces and inspiring environments and I am most at ease when in nature and/or with good company. As for domestic-me, I like tidy areas and I clean up after myself to make the home clean and enjoyable for others. I'm from Orange, NSW but have been living in Manly, Sydney this year. It will be sad to make the move away from the beach but I am coming to Canberra to study at ANU, ready for a new chapter in my life. My partner is Swedish and we are blessed to have found each other! We like to travel and explore around the coast on our days off, and we both enjoy a good cup of tea.

If you're looking for a fellow 21 y.o male student at ANU, look no further! How would I describe myself? Mmmm. Curious, nerdy with a hint of fun but sensible. Needless to say, pays bills on time and subtly appreciates sharing stories about our sometimes mundane but necessary unfolding of life. Oh, I'll never shy away from occasional midnight scrabbles! Or Monopoly, yeah, monopoly.

Hello future flatmate! My partner and I are originally from Sydney, and we are both currently studying law at ANU. We are clean, friendly and sociable people, and are used to living with people after our experiences in shared accommodation last year. We are also responsible with our housework, and willing to do our share around the house. We are excited to meet new people, and hope to hear from you soon! :)
Hello! 24yo here about to move down from Sydney to start a role in the public service. While not really into partying til late, I love meeting new friends and will gladly have some fun over food, drinks, board games n movies. Most often found chilling on the PC/laptop and listening to music. It's my first time moving interstate but i've previously lived a year in Japan. I respect people's space/privacy and always clean up after myself. I love travelling and visiting museums and national parks - pretty excited to see what Canberra has to offer so will probably spend weekends out exploring when not taking a break at home. Personality-wise I am told that I'm friendly, easy-going and positive. Flexible around moving-in dates however the starting date for my full-time job is in the second week of February. Preferred length is stated as 6 months but is really flexible. Always happy to team up and establish a small sharehouse of 2-3 like-minded people also!
Moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a full-time six-month internship. In my other life I am a 23 year old guy, working and studying, half-way through my Masters of Physics at University of Melbourne - I like reading, hiking, watching trippy tv and meeting friends. I've been living in share houses for four or five years and am good at it - in the sense that I'm always up for a chat or a drink, am tidy, and always happy to do my share of the work. In Melbourne I have a beloved cat who I will be leaving for six months, so am super keen to fill the gaping void in my heart with other animals or new friends. Equally though, I will be working hard and will be happy to live in a more professionally oriented environment too.
